Chief Ope Bademosi, the chairman of Credit Switch Technology, has been gruesomely murdered by his cook, 3 days after resuming duty, This Day reports.
Bademosi was killed in the early hours of Wednesday, at his residence in #Ikoyi, Lagos. He was reportedly found in a pool of blood, with multiple stab wounds.
“When we got inside, we saw the man in a pool of blood with the volume of music increased to the highest level,” a neighbour said.
In an interview with a homicide investigation officer, a source said:
“This is very wicked. In fact, that guy must be a devil itself. He stabbed the man in multiple places. I was the first to enter the apartment.
In fact, the music was so loud that even if you were to be killing 20 people here, no one would hear them scream. After committing the act, the guy went to the toilet and pulled off the white uniform meant for cooks he was wearing because it was all stained with blood.
He also left the knife he used inside the toilet there. If you see the knife, it’s a very strong, long and sharp knife that could only be authorised for military personnel.
Afterward, he ransacked the whole apartment and carted away all valuables he could lay his hands on including an unaccountable sum of money, jewelries and the deceased phone.
What baffles us more is that, no one seems to know anything about him because he was only employed few days ago and brought from Ondo state to resume just this last Sunday. And they only know him by his first name, which is Sunday.
Again, we went through his things and found some old pictures of him putting on a camouflage belonging to republic of Benin military.
Also he was in a group picture with all of them wearing #Benin Republic military uniform, which suggests that he could be an ex-service man in Benin Republic.”

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has accused the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force of killing 46 of its members.
The group also said 107 members sustained injuries, while 1,000 members were still missing after a clash with security operatives during the three-day religious gathering tagged: ‘Arbaeen Symbolic Trek‘ in Abuja.
This was disclosed at a press statement signed by the IMN spokesperson, Abdullahi Muhammad Musa, on Wednesday.
The statement read:
“The public will recall that on Saturday, 27 October, 2018 the followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) publicly announced the commencement of three (3) days religious gathering (Arbaeen Symbolic Trek) and protest for unconditional release of our leader, Sheikh Zakzaky (H). Unfortunately, during the programme, the Military and Police killed 46 mourners and protesters, injured 107 and 1,000 got missing.
The worst part of the crime, the Police are now blackmailing us to cover their atrocities. The Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (AFIMN) objected and rejected the baseless claims made by the Police that followers of Sheikh Zakzaky were arrested with explosives and at the same time, we are calling on the public to please ignore the allegation.
The Police should come out and tell the world where they got the explosives and account for over 1,000 people that got missing during the three days protest. We are calling for the prosecution of all those that participated in the attack and killing of 46 protesters.”

According to the lady in the sex video who has been identified as Princess Tamaratokoni Okpewho, Apostle Chris Omatsola, a senior pastor of Zionwealth Of Life Assembly in Lekki, Lagos, was the one who released the video himself to get back at her for ending things between them.
It was not a laptop repairer that released the video as reported when the video went viral weeks back.
Princess Tamaratokoni said her ex-fiance, Apostle Omatsola was physically and emotionally abusive and was also manipulative. She shared photos of the injury he inflicted on her and said that contrary to his claims, the sex tape wasn’t recorded long ago when the pastor “was still in the world”, but was recorded this year when they were in a relationship.

I met Apostle Chris Kevwe Omatsola, an author, the founder and presiding pastor of Zionwealth of Life Assembly (Zola) in Lekki, Lagos and we started dating in February 2018. It quickly escalated to become a sexual relationship and when we had sex the first time, he told me he was human to have such feelings inspite of the fact that he was a pastor and because he was madly in love with me, we should make it right by getting married. I was in love and was ready to do anything for him. We continued our romance and one of the things we did together was recording videos and taking pictures of our intimacy.
I informed my mum about a guy coming for my hand in marriage and she said was going to pray about it. Everything was rosy until he became violent and constantly beat me up till I bled (I have pictures of my bruises). He came begging after each episode and I forgave him because I thought I was in love. The vicious cycle continued (He would beat me, come back pleading, and I would accept him back).
Fast forward to late July, there was no response from my mum about bringing him to her as my intended spouse. I was also beginning to develop cold feet about the relationship as the violence increased. He was very temperamental and we had series of altercations which eventually degenerated to more beatings. In August, I called off the relationship and I was surprised he accepted it in good faith initially given his penchant for violence. We agreed to remain friends, but he just wouldn’t let go…crying, begging and prostrating on many occasions.
Sometime in August, he asked that we meet up to talk on platonic grounds. After sometime during the meeting, he got really hostile with me upon realizing that I had moved on and wasn’t interested in making out with him. He also refused to drop me off at home. He beat me up, seized my phone, forced me to unlock it and retrieved a lot of contacts from it just to track who I was seeing. That was the final straw for me so I never saw him again till September when he showed up at my place, crying and begging. I refused to fall for his tricks this time and there was no further communication from both sides till sometime early October when he apologized yet again for all what he did.
On the 13th of October, he contacted me with an anonymous number via WhatsApp with pictures, videos and threat messages saying if I didn’t come back to him he was going to release everything. I profusely pleaded with him and also called everyone I knew to help beg him. A family friend called him and he promised he wasn’t going to release them, that he was just angry with me, he was trying to get my attention and hopefully win me back. I was calm after hearing this about 12noon that day.
Shockingly, at about 7pm that same day, I started getting calls from all my contacts about my nudes (pictures and videos) circulating all over the internet. A strange number also sent them to me via WhatsApp….my friends, my family and everyone on my contact list (recall he forcefully got the contacts from me in August). He even sent them to the same family friend who had earlier called to plead with him!
He was arrested the next day and didn’t deny posting the pictures and videos (there is a recording to this effect). According to him, he activated WhatsApp on someone’s number (a former girlfriend of his) and used the number to send the pictures and videos to my contacts and his church WhatsApp group. This went viral in a matter of minutes. Before he was arrested, a distraught me contacted him to ask why he eventually released them after he had promised not to. He said that now that my pictures and videos were out there, no man would want to look my way again, that it was best we got married and informed the world that we are a couple and its our business.
After the arrest, in the presence of his Dad, he yet again confessed to releasing the pictures and videos himself and admitted he was wrong. He apologized to myself, my family, his family and the general public. This was recorded 19th October 2018 and I am in possession of this video. He even accepted to pay for damages. We accepted his apology and thought we had laid this to rest.
We woke up Sunday morning (28th October 2018) only to discover that he had released yet another video, recanted his previous apology and claimed that the recording of the nudes and pictures happened when he was an unbeliever in the world. He even shed crocodile tears during the recording to make him appear like he was the victim. Chris and I started dating in February 2018 and the recording of nudes was done during the relationship (Feb 2018 – Aug 2018). There are currently posts from his church blog on the internet dated as far back as December 16th 2014 (http://zolanigeria.blogspot.com/…/zola-raising-zolite-army.…) which is proof that the church had been in existence for some time. So how could we have recorded the videos when he was in the world, when we only met and started dating February this year and he had been a pastor long before we met? When exactly was he in the world???
I was wrong to have been involved in premarital sex with a pastor. I was wrong to have allowed him persuade me to record our intimate moments. I was wrong to have continued dating a violent man. I have been having sleepless nights thinking about the consequences of all I did and wondering how to get past this, how to move on. My family and friends see me differently. A lot of people look at me and whisper when they see me pass. I have been fielding questions from my colleagues. I hope that this will pass soon.
Apostle Chris Kevwe Omatsola is an unremorseful vengeful liar and a psychopath who will not stop until he destroys me and I have no clue what he wants from me. A Nigerian man was, on Tuesday, sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in prison, for taking part in years-long schemes that defrauded unwitting people from the U.S. and other countries of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Clement Onuama, 53, owned a legitimate auto sales and repair business near Arlington, Texas, which prosecutors said became a front for an operation that laundered money gained through a systemic and long-term fleecing of gullible persons.
Onuama, from Lagos, was also ordered to pay $409,639 in restitution. In addition, the court ordered him to forfeit as a personal money judgment, $409,639 in ill-gotten gains.
Onuama’s co-conspirator, Orefo Okeke, was sentenced by Judge Conley on October 18, 2018, to 45 months imprisonment, and ordered to pay $582,955.90 in restitution to the victims.
On July 17, 2018, Onuama pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.
Okeke and Onuama participated in multiple frauds by means of wires, including: romance frauds, business email compromises, identity theft, bank account takeovers, and credit card fraud. Onuama was found responsible for causing a fraud loss of $1,076,602.

Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Leo Babarinde Dasilva revealed he was recently robbed in Lagos state while he was stuck in traffic.

A Kenyan political blogger, David Ndung’u has taken to his platform to share quite an horror story which could pass for a Nollywood movie, only that it’s not fictitious.
According to the blogger, the house help was allegedly sexually assaulted by her employer and forced to wash and sleep with a corpse.
He gave his report as thus,
Peninah Awuor from Nyahera, Kisumu County was a house-help in Pangani for only 47 days.
Apart from being sexually assaulted, she was forced by her employer Mohammed Noor to wash and sometimes sleep with a corpse wrapped with a mat and hidden under a bed in one of the rooms.
The first time Mr. Noor forced her to do it at gunpoint.
She was shocked when she realized that each day the corpse would produce several new Ksh1,000 and Ksh500 notes which Mr. Noor would collect in a basin.
Noor’s wife once beat up Peninah when she screamed at night after Mr. Noor started grabbing her inappropriately in the living room while she and her two children were asleep upstairs.
She also warned Peninah to never steal the money collected daily from the corpse while cleaning it or she will suffer untold consequences.
According to Peninah, a doctor would also come to the house every Friday to inject the corpse with some substance so that it does not smell.
Peninah who was kicked out of the home without a penny reported the matter to Pangani Police Station where police officers appeared to despise her story ostensibly on being bribed by Mr. Noor. She only got help after she reported the matter to Parklands Police station.
In her 47 days of employment which she was not paid, she washed the corpse 40 times and has vowed to never work as a househelp again.

The PDP governorship candidate in the September 22 election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke arraigned by the police at the Federal High court in Abuja this morning, on charges bordering on examination malpractice and impersonation.
Adeleke has since denied the allegation and accused the APC of witch-hunting.
He was brought to court with four other accused, including the school principal by the Nigerian police on Wednesday.
The presiding judge, Justice E.I Ekwo, however granted him bail on self-recognizance and ordered him to deposit his international passport with the registrar.
Mr Adeleke was also asked to sign a bond stating that he will always be present at his trial.
India has unveiled the world’s tallest statue, a 182m (600ft) high structure in the western state of Gujarat to honor leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The statue, reportedly cost 29.9bn rupees (£330m; $430m) to build.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the “statue of unity” would serve as a major tourist attraction, though locals say this is as a wastage of public money and that the funds could have been put to better use, BBC writes.
Mr Modi, who unveiled the statue at a grand inaugural event, said it is “a symbol of India’s integrity and resolve.”
Air Force planes showered flowers on the statue, which was designed by decorated Indian sculptor Ram V Sutar.
The statue has become a rallying point for local farmers who are demanding compensation for land that they say has been acquired by the government for various projects, including the construction of the memorial.
The memorial has been seen as a pet project of Mr Modi, who like Patel, was born in Gujarat. He commissioned the statue when he was the state’s chief minister in 2010.
It is nearly twice as tall as New York’s Statue of Liberty, and has surpassed the height of the Spring Temple Buddha in China which, at 128m, was previously the tallest in the world.
But it won’t remain the world’s tallest statue for long, as the government in the western state of Maharashtra is constructing a memorial to the Maratha warrior king Shivaji that is estimated to be 190m tall.

Bemdoo Ajekwe, 3-year-old boy who was kidnapped on the 10th of October, 2018 at North Bank area of Makurdi, Benue State, has been rescued and reunited with his parents.
His rescue followed a full scale investigation ordered by the Benue State Commissioner of Police, CP. Ene Okon, which led to the arrest of one Joy Onyeabor, 32,and Lucy Doosur, 29.
The suspects confessed that the said child was, on that fateful day, in company of his brother who is about 7 years old.
They lured the older child with the sum of N50 to help them buy bread across the road, leaving the younger child in their care before they whisked him to Aba Abia State. .
They stated that they sold him to one Unwa Chibueze and Elizabeth for N500,000.
Further investigation led to the arrest of other members of the syndicate namely; Sunday Udoh, 26, and Friday Orinya, 33, all of North Bank, Makurdi, who actively participated in the crime.
Police detectives extended investigation to Aba and recovered the child on 23/10/2018. He has since been reunited with his family, while investigation continues with a view to arresting other fleeing members of the syndicate.

She is a very popular Evangelist in Akure and her church is known as the prayer warriors’ church. Very gentle and highly reserved Prophetess Naomi runs the church with her 50 years old mother, Prophetess Oluyemi, who is an Indigene of Ikenne-Remo. Her father is from Akure, while her father’s marriage to his wife has lasted over 30 years. Their marriage is also blessed with 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls, while Oloori Naomi is the 3rd child.
Prophetess Naomi is known for a very famous crusade and praise programme entitled: Hosanna Night every December to mark the anniversary of the church. Many Akure Christians look forward to the programmes not just because of how she ministers, but because it is always star-studded with A-list Nigerian Gospel artistes performing. It was further revealed that it was an extended relationship with all siblings of Oloori Naomi Ogunwusi. Even the Prophetess was at the palace in Ile-Ife 3 months ago to pray for Kabiyesi and that was when Kabiyesi fell in love with her calmness and cool disposition.
It was further explained that Kabiyesi didn’t only fall in love at first sight; he was impressed and induced when he knew that Prophetess Naomi was a virgin at the time.
This was why kabiyesi asked her out and promised her marriage without further ado. City People’s investigation reveals that it took Oloori and Kabiyesi 3-and-half month to pick a date for the marriage and preparations kicked off immediately.
The first thing Oonirisa did was to keep the date away from many as preparations went on among top family members. All the engagement stuffs were also sourced by Kabiyesi’s siblings who were also warned not to discuss it with outsiders.

His elder brother, Prince Tunji Ogunwusi, and his wife Ibilola Ogunwusi, who flew in from London. Also on the entourage were: Prince Jide Fadairo and his wife, Princess Folasade Ogunwusi, Princess Adesola, Princess Folusho and her husband Kolawole, and Princess Adebimpe and her husband, Prince Mobolaji Jimoh.
The Princesses were all clad in luxury white lace matched with Royal blue headgear. Their traditional Iyun beads were from Tjcollections, while the Ogunwusi Princes and their brothers-in-law spotted white flowing Agbada.
Also in attendance was Obalufe, the Emeses, Osoro, and Ooni of Ife inner caucus Chiefs who all together were 40 in number. All drove to Akure in style in 15 vehicles, which were mainly Benz series. They were led by escort as their hosts welcomed them at 5.31pm.
The Oluwaseyis, who were fully set awaiting their new in-laws quickly commenced the event at a few minutes to 6pm with opening prayer by the bride’s family. The Oluwaseyis didn’t keep them waiting for long as Prophetess Naomi was handed over to Oonirisa’s elder brother, the Sooko Ekun of Ile-Ife, Prince Bimbo Ogunwusi, who then handed her over to the Ogunwusi sisters.
Few minutes past 10pm, the Ooni entourage drove into Ile-Ife, where Oloori Ogunwusi was received at the entrance by Oonirisa’s Chiefs. Prayers were led by one of the Oonirisa’s Chiefs called ‘Loowa’ (Next to kabiyesi among Chiefs) while Obalufe also prayed for the new bride before she was presented to Ekerin Iyalode, who is a top member of Oonirisa Ruling house “Geesi ruling house. That was after a white Ram was killed, while the Oloori did the needful according to tradition of Ife. The Ekerin Iyalode poured water on her legss as the calabash was broken. Then the breaking of kolanut followed.
She was later ushered into the palace where Oonirisa had already “Gunwa” on his throne. Kabiyesi, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi received her with open arms and prayed for her. He exchanged wedding bands with her and told her to sit at the right side.
The emeses who are the closest chiefs to Kabiyesi then welcomed her officially with all the Oloori of the source praises, while she was then told to move to the left side of Kabiyesi, which makes her the new Oonirisa Oloori.

A set of conjoined twins have been successfully separated by a team of Nigerian doctors at University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada.
The doctors led by Dr Nuhu Kwajafa of the Global Peace Initiatives, on Tuesday carried out the operation successfully.
Dr Nuhu Kwajafa confirmed the success of the operation, stating in a post on his Instagram account @nuhukwaj that it took them many hours to complete.
Dr. Kwajafa also said the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, footed the bill. He wrote;
“We wish to express our profound gratitude, as we say a massive thank you to Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara, for his kind hearted and extremely generous gesture to the successfully separated twins and their family…God bless you Sir”
According to a report by Punch Metro, a young man, identified as Kingsley, has lost his life after a Lexus SUV lost control and fell into a river behind EFAB Estate, Lokogoma District, Abuja, on Monday.
Two other occupants of the vehicle survived the crash which occurred in the morning after the SUV fell off a narrow bridge and landed on its back in the flooded river.
Northern City News reports that residents rushed to the scene and rescued the occupants, but Kingsley, who was the first to be rescued, inexplicably returned to the water and was swept away.
His body was found later in the afternoon by divers.

An eyewitness, who identified himself as Patrick, said he was in his room when he heard a loud noise from the scene, adding that some residents said they saw the driver on top speed before the crash.
He said, “I was hearing a shout from my room; so, I came out and saw people trying to bring the driver out of the vehicle.
“We had to smash the windscreen to bring him out of the car but in the process of doing that, he was beginning to drown and we managed to bring him out and took him to the hospital, but the third guy who was in the back seat drowned and we couldn’t find him.”
A resident, Peter Monday, said the driver was speeding when he crashed into the river.
“I don’t know whether he was trying to avoid hitting an Okada man (commercial motorcyclist) when he crashed into the river. We waded into the river and rescued the three occupants,” he stated.
Monday further explained that, “We broke the windscreen and brought the three of them out of the vehicle.
“The first person we rescued later came back into the river shouting that his uncle was inside the car.
“He came back into the river and was swept away; maybe it was because he was weak and could not withstand the fierce current.
“We spent over one hour looking for his body, but we couldn’t find it.”
The FCT police spokesman, Anjuguri Manzah, said he was not aware of the incident.

Akin Oyebode, a professor of International Law and Jurisprudence, has said the 1999 Constitution must be discarded before the country can make progress.
According to Oyebode, no matter the number of amendments made to the constitution, it cannot work for Nigeria because it is entirely faulty. He said Nigeria must heed the call to replace the 1999 constitution, which he described as a military document, with a new one.
Oyebode said this on Tuesday while delivering a lecture titled, “The Nigerian conundrum and the way forward,” at an event organised by the Oriwu Club, in Ikorodu, Lagos. A statement by the club quoted the professor to have argued that the late Chinua Achebe was right in his assertion that leadership was Nigeria’s problem.
He said, “the necessity for what the lawyers call an autochthonous constitution goes without saying. We cannot continue living a lie by calling a military decree, which propagates an untruth against itself, the country’s constitution.
More importantly, the military-imposed constitution is lopsided, inequitable and dysfunctional and it should be jettisoned and replaced with a more acceptable instrument which adheres with the tenets of true federalism. Except, until and unless this misbegotten contraption is totally overhauled by way of restructuring, the country would only be going round in circles in a manner reminiscent of the potter’s wheel –all motion, no movement.
The existing division of powers needs to be reworked such that the Federal Government would shed its bloated powers and the constituent units would exercise more powers in a re-configured federal system. Luckily, there is already in existence a draft constitution elaborated by the National Conference of 2014 in the event that some would argue that the country does not require yet another constitutional conference.
The plain truth is that no number of amendments or panel-beating can cure the infelicities of the Abdulsalam Constitution. Oyebode added that without restructuring, Nigeria was headed for collapse. Nothing is done except it is done right. A new constitution is a condition sine qua non for the rebirth of this country,” he declared.
A 400-level student of the Department of Microbiology, University of Lagos, Adeniyi Ogundijo, died shortly after writing his final year exams, and it was alleged that he committed suicide.
Men of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba are currently investigating the circumstances that led to his death. While some people claim the deceased committed suicide over his poor academic performance, his friends claim that he was killed by unknown persons.
One of the coursemates of the deceased who spoke anonymously to Punch said the results of their examination were released as they prepared for their graduation.
“We have a Whatsapp group chat and a course mate broke the news on the platform. The course mate had spoken to a relative of Niyi (Ogundijo), who said she lost her brother. The course mate asked to see his photo. Lo and behold, it was him. Although we got the news yesterday (Monday), we learnt he died on Saturday. A family member said he was with his friends when the incident happened. We also learnt that he had yet to return home since we finished the final exams.
“We have seen the results of all our papers. There are insinuations that he took local insecticide, Sniper. He was probably killed and those who did it made it appear like he committed suicide. Two of his friends have been arrested by the police. To the best of my knowledge, Niyi was a good student. He interacted well with people and had no reason to kill himself.”
A family member of the victim, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said Ogundijo was on a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.2 (Second Class Lower), adding that he did not know the result of the final exams.
“I don’t know where people got the idea that my brother committed suicide because he failed some courses. Why should he wait till his final year to do that? I have been in worse situations. I know my brother was a loner and could be quiet, but it did not mean he was depressed. I spoke to him this week and we had a good conversation. There was no issue with the family or anybody at all. About five of his friends have been arrested over this. Although I don’t know about the results of their final exams, his CGPA was 2.2 before the incident happened.” the relative said
A text message purportedly circulated by the Office of the Dean of Students Affairs, Prof. Ademola Adeleke on the death of the undergraduate reads
“I am saddened to confirm the untimely death of Mr Ogundijo Adeniyi Samson, of the Department of Microbiology with Matric no. 140807008. We have spoken to the father, who confirmed the death. He, however, declined to give additional information on the cause, nature or time of death. The DSA is arranging a condolence visit to the family. Kindly stop the speculation on the cause of death”.
Also speaking on the death of the undergraduate is the Principal Assistant Registrar, Communications Unit, University of Lagos, Mrs Taiwo Oloyede, who said the cause of death is yet unknown. She added that the victim died outside the campus.
“The cause or nature of his death is not known. Here at the University of Lagos, our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we wish eternal rest for the soul of the departed”.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Chike Oti, said investigation carried out so far by the police, shows that the deceased died after consuming Sniper.
“The deceased was a student who normally visited his friend from time to time. His friend and uncle lived in the same house. He had gone on the visit as usual when the friend and uncle later went out. By the time they returned to the house, they found him dead with an empty container of Sniper. However, the police are looking at a possible case of murder. Forensic investigation is being carried out on his corpse. Meanwhile, the uncle and friend are in our custody.” he said
