Jim Iyke has never been one to hold back from clapping back at folks who say unkind things to him, and he went for the jugular when a female fan made a comment about his body.
Drama started when the former actor uploaded a video which shows him working at a gym, and while many fans had kind things to say, a female fan made a shady comment about how his ‘thing’ is “dangling.”
And that was all Iyke needed to clap back with the meanest, sexist and even self-deprecatory remark, dismissing the woman as an “ape”, a racist word that is used to denigrate people of colour.
The Ondo State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has disclosed that the war against illicit drugs in the state is making headway as 137 persons alleged to be involved in drug-related offenses in the state have been arrested.
Haruna Gagara, who is the NDLEA commander in Ondo State, stated this in Akure, the Ondo State capital, where he also confirmed the destruction of 200 hectares of cannabis sativa (India Hemp) plantation by his men. The state NDLEA boss revealed that the arrest of the 137 suspects was made between the months of May and October.
Among the figures, 127 were said to be male suspects while 10 were arrested for cultivating cannabis sativa (India hemp).
Gagara, who expressed sadness at the high rate of cannabis cultivation, growing, and dealing with illicit drugs in the state, said that the command has been working relentlessly to ensure that the menace is totally curbed in the state.
According to him, Ondo state has been ranked as one of the states with the highest cultivation rate of cannabis sativa, saying it is very unfortunate that the state has become a fertile land for growing cannabis.
“Between May to October, we have been able to arrest 137 suspects most of whom were male and female, also we equally destroyed 200 hectares of cannabis sativa (Indian Hemp).
“Despite all this effort, the people have refused to change on planting, growing and doing drug business. We have been carrying out campaign against illicit drugs in school, motor parks and host communities.
“We will continue to do our best while calling on the relevant security agencies, government at all levels to support the agency in their quest to reduce rate of cultivation of cannabis to the lowest minimum in the state,” he stated. While calling on parents and guardians to always monitor their wards against the use of illicit drugs, the NDLEA boss vowed that his men will continue to go after some sponsors of the dealers of cannabis in the state.
He maintained that unless the sponsors are arrested, and brought to book, the effort of the agency in fighting the menace will be unrealistic.
He also stated that some of the arrested suspects have already been charged to court, while some are still undergoing investigations at the Alagbaka office of the command in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

A girlfriend cut off her partner’s manhood after she suspected that he was cheating, it has been claimed. Rehema Kabayana, 24, was convinced Anthony Sekawa, 28, was having an affair.
And she allegedly used a four-inch knife to get her revenge, reports the PML Daily in Uganda. According to police, she waited until her boyfriend had fallen asleep before doing the deed.
Neighbours heard his howls of pain and called police. Sekawa was then rushed to hospital. He told police that the couple had got into a fight, during which she had apparently tried to cut his throat. He later fell asleep, and that is when Kabayana is said to have hacked off Sekawa’s manhood.
Upon arrest, Kabayana told police that she had recently discovered her boyfriend was seeing different girls at a brothel located in Wanton Mukono and hatched the revenge plot.
“I then discovered that he was secretly going out and flirting with other girls at different bars. This made me very angry. I was full of anger inside and couldn’t relax,” she told them.
Sekawa was rushed to Namirembe Hospital, the paper said, for treatment while Kabayana was arrested and held in custody over the attack.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed that Mukono Police had received an emergency call about a man’s penis being cut off with a knife.
Owoyesigyire told the paper officers arrived along with rescue staff and found the man severely injured and he was rushed to hospital.
Detectives told them the couple have long battled over his womanising – she had demanded he cease contact with any other women, including not talking to them, answering their calls or even smiling at them.
She told police he had failed to do so.
Kabayana felt her demands were being taken for granted and decided to carry out the sickening act at Kings Bar located in Wanton Mukono District.
The paper said the victim told police that he loved his girlfriend and believed she maimed his manhood in a grizzly bid to make sure he did not stray looking for other women.
The suspect is currently detained at Mukono Police Station on charges of attempted murder as the investigation continues.

A member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has accused the church’s leadership of terminating his membership because he appeared on the show of OAP, Daddy Freeze, who has been teaching people to go against the doctrines of the church, particularly Tithing.
Ayilara who was once a student of Redeemed Bible College (RCBC), an RCCG Pastor School, had written an article in September in which he accused the church’s authority of maltreating him while he was in the school.
Ayilara said he was questioning some of the things the church was teaching him and many others in the school. When he questioned the church, he was tagged rebellious.
Ayilara in his interview with Freeze, narrated how himself and other students of the bible school were kept in an unhygienic environment to the extent they were infected with guinea worms and other diseases. He accused the church leaders of forcefully turning them into bricklayers to build houses for the church in the camp ground.
He also accused the church of forcing them to do chores for other pastors as well as tendering to the needs of the pastor’s household, taking their children to school – he said the church told them that they should count it all as a blessings to do all that they are being forced to do.
Posting the news of him being thrown out, Ayilara on his Facebook page, wrote
Reacting to the news, OAP Freeze promised to help the man
“The church has become the ‘world’ that Jesus warned us about. The principalities and powers are not your aunty in the village ‘doing’ you, rather they are behind pulpits.

Nigeria’s minister of Information and culture, Lai Mohammed has elaborated on why Nigerians should vote for Buhari in 2019.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has said that President Muhammadu Buhari deserved second term election because, in the past three and half years, he has impacted positively in the lives of Nigerians.
The minister who was a guest on Channels Television programme “Politics Today” on Sunday night said the President had leveraged his legendary integrity and acumen in managing resources both human and materials to reinvent governance.
He stressed that Buhari had delivered on the three campaign promises he made which were, fighting corruption, tackling insecurity and revamping the economy.
“Today, under President Buhari, Nigerians can dream and hope because he has rebranded governance and put the country on the path of sustainable growth and development.
“He is investing in infrastructure and reinventing the most ambitious social programme in the history of the nation.
“The President is ensuring that the people do not loot the common resources and ensuring that Nigeria is self sufficient in food production
“Above all, he has brought honour and respect back to the country and fighting all sorts of insecurity in the country,” he said.
Reacting to the allegation of non submission of the President’s certificate to INEC, the minister said it was “a non issue and a mere distraction”
“We have moved beyond that. Let me quote what former President Olusegun Obasanjo said in 2015 during this saga of the President’s certificate.
“Obasanjo said that it is an insult on a man, who rose to the echelon in Nigeria Army, attended the War College in the US and Staff College in Nigeria, for anyone to start asking whether he has a certificate or not.
“I think I want to rest this case on that because it is a non issue,” the minister said.
Speaking on the President’s health, Mohammed said that the President had fully recovered and fit to discharge his duties.
The minister also said they were not worried by the endorsement of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, by Obasanjo because “it is Nigerians that will decide who will govern them”.
“It is Nigerians that are going to vote at the 2019 elections.
“They will make a choice between going back to the era of inefficiency, looting, decay in infrastructure and the era of integrity, when the economy is being revived and insurgency is being tackled.
“It is not what Obasanjo says that matters because I am sure Nigerians will make the right choice,” he said.
The minister also denied the allegation that the government was intimidating the opposition .
He expressed the confidence that President Buhari would be reelected in 2019 because of his track record.
A church was recently ravaged by a fire outbreak and everything was burned except for a painting of Jesus inside it.
According to a report by The Boston Globe, a massive fire destroyed the First Baptist Church of Wakefield in Massachusetts Tuesday night, CBS Boston reports, and the historic building was described as a total loss. But as workers were clearing the ashy remains of the church the next day, Jesus appeared in the form of a painting.
Photos from the scene of the fire show a building inspector removing a nearly-pristine painting of Jesus, which once hung just inside the church’s front doors, according to The Boston Globe. Somewhat miraculously, the painting survived the devastating fire. The image of Jesus emerging from the charred church gave worshipers some solace during the difficult time.
Former parishioner Susan Auld told the Globe that the Jesus painting will be given to a former pastor of the church.
The First Baptist Church of Wakefield, which was nearly 150 years old, according to its website, caught fire around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, CBS Boston reports. A witness says lightning struck the 180-foot steeple before it went up in flames.
“I saw the lightning strike the steeple, and we saw the smoke and it just went up in flames fast,” said Christian Bruno, who lives across from the church.
People were inside the church when the fire started, but no injuries have been reported. Still, churchgoers are devastated by the tragedy. “Two days ago I just went to the service 10:15 on Sunday and I’m just shocked that this church is burned down,” Robert Jordan told CBS Boston.
But during this dark time, the painting of Jesus persevered and may serve as a comforting memento for worshipers after their loss.

A Lion Air Boeing 737 passenger plane with 188 people on board has crashed into the sea shortly after taking off from the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
Flight JT 610 was headed for Pangkal Pinang, in the Bangka Belitung Islands, when it lost contact and is believed to have ended up under water.
The plane was a new type of aircraft and it is unclear what caused the crash. Lion Air is Indonesia’s largest low-cost carrier.
“The plane crashed into water about 30m to 40m deep,” Search and Rescue Agency spokesman Yusuf Latif told AFP news agency. “We’re still searching for the remains of the plane.”
Items believed to belong to passengers have been found in the water, including ID cards and driver’s licences, the search and rescue agency said on Twitter.
“We don’t know yet whether there are any survivors,” the agency’s head, Muhmmad Syaugi, told reporters.
“We hope, we pray, but we cannot confirm.”
At an earlier news conference, officials said the plane had been carrying 178 adults, one infant and two babies, as well as two pilots and five cabin crew. However, there are conflicting reports on the exact number of people on board.
What happened?
Flight JT 610 took off from Jakarta at 06:20 local time on Monday morning (23:30 GMT on Sunday).
It was due to arrive at Depati Amir airport in Pangkal Pinang an hour later but 13 minutes into the flight, authorities lost contact with the plane.
The pilot had asked to return to Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta airport, the head of Pangkal Pinang’s search and rescue office, Danang Priandoko, told local news outlet Kompas.
The head of Indonesia’s disaster agency, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, has tweeted images which he said showed debris and personal belongings that came from the aircraft and had been found floating in the sea.
He also shared a video he said had been taken from a tugboat off Karawang, just east of Jakarta, which appeared to show floating debris and an oil slick.
Debris was also seen near an offshore oil refinery operated by state-owned energy firm Pertamina, an official from the firm said.

Former Spain manager, Julen Lopetegui will pay the price for his side’s dismal start to the season, and the ex-Chelsea boss will be called upon to take over
Real Madrid will sack manager Julen Lopetegui on Monday with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte set to be named as his successor, Goal reports.
Sunday’s dismal Clasico was the final straw for Lopetegui, who watched his side be torn apart in a 5-1 defeat to Barcelona.
The defeat saw Madrid lose three straight Liga matches for the first time since 2009 and left the club in ninth place, seven points behind leaders Barcelona.
Madrid’s executives have scheduled a meeting for Monday, where they will make Lopetegui’s dismissal official. A formal announcement is set to follow.
“We have to take a decision. We can’t continue like this any longer,” a Real Madrid source told Goal.
Speaking after the Clasico, Lopetegui expressed his hope that he would be given the opportunity to guide Madrid out of a sorry slump.
He told reporters after a forgettable display in Catalunya: “I feel sad at the moment, but with full strength to remain in charge of this group.
“This is a tough blow, but I am strong enough to know everything can be turned around. There is a long way to go, and I have a lot of faith in this group of players.”
Sergio Ramos, meanwhile, claimed the Madrid players will have no input in decisions regarding Lopetegui’s future, with results set to determine the fate of the under-fire coach.
Madrid skipper Ramos claims to have no knowledge as to what calls will be made by the club’s board, telling reporters when quizzed on his manager: “We are with the coach to the death. But results determine a lot whether a coach stays.
“It is not our decision. So we will stay to the side, let the hours pass and whatever happens will happen. It’s not about the players.”
However, Lopetegui’s tenure will end barely four months after it began, with the 52-year-old taking charge in June one day after being fired by Spain on the eve of the World Cup.
The ex-Porto boss oversaw a difficult start to the season for Madrid, who have lost five matches already in 2018-19: four in La Liga and one in the Champions League at CSKA Moscow.
Conte is the man who will be expected to lead a turnaround at the Bernabeu, after the Italian left Chelsea following the 2017-18 season.
Madrid contacted Conte following Sunday’s Clasico defeat, and the 49-year-old is understood to be receptive to the idea of taking over in the Spanish capital.
Conte was also contacted in the summer, but swatted away interest at the time with his contract situation at Chelsea still not sorted.
But it appears that the Italian is ready to commit to Madrid, with Conte expected in the Spanish capital on Monday.

With the 2019 elections forthcoming, Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said he has fulfilled his promise of conquering terrorism and insecurity in the country.
Buhari, as a candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015 campaigned on three focal points of fighting against corruption, reviving economy and security.
Some of the Nigerian communities in the northern and southern parts of the country were under siege of the deadly Boko Haram insurgents during former president Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, which Buhari promised would be history if elected president.
However, over three years into his election as president, Nigeria is yet to be free from terrorism as promised by the president, as terrorist group Boko Haram has operated in the northern part of the country killing scores of Nigerians at different times.
Despite criticism from sections of the society and opposition political parties as regards the security situation and other alleged lapses in the Buhari-led government, the president said he had fulfilled his promises in the area of security and infrastructure to the citizens.
Alongside the terrorism activity which the president believes there have been gains in its fight, there have also been cases of violence and killings in Benue, Ondo and Osun states by herdsmen, Boko Haram had also attacked some communities and displaced residents since 2015.
“Insecurity, the people of the Northeast are in the best position to comment on the gains we have made in the fight against terrorism. They lost local LGAs Boko Haram, schools and roads were closed, commercial flights halted, and religious festivals observed in fear and terror,” Buhari said.
Buhari, who is vying for a return to office in 2019, also boasted on his tenure’s work in improving infrastructure in the country. He noted that the works done are a fulfilment of his campaign promises.
“We are connecting every part of Nigeria by standard-gauge rail. We‘re upgrading roads, highways, airports around the country,” Buhari said in a tweet.
“Our efforts in Power generation, transmission, distribution are yielding fruit. All of these are in fulfilment of our promise to invest in infrastructure.”
A video has been circulating online showing Shi’ite members and Nigerian Army officers clash along Zuba road in Abuja yesterday October 27th.
A statement from the Army released earlier today, said the sect members who were supposedly in a procession in the Federal Capital Territory, mounted an illegal road block during their procession thereby denying motorists free passage.
When the troops’ convoy attempted to clear the road block, they met stiff opposition from the sect. Members of the sect used various objects to barricade the road and also pelted the troops with stones and other dangerous items. They smashed both military and civilian vehicles’ windscreens and windows.
They also attempted to overrun the escorts to cart away the ammunition and missiles the troops were escorting. This led to the troops opening fire to extricate themselves.
Consequently, troops of 102 Guards Battalion in whose Area of Responsibility the incident occurred rushed to the convoy’s rescue.
Unfortunately, during the encounter 3 members of the sect were killed while 2 soldiers sustained various degrees of injuries and are being treated at a military medical facility.

Shaku Shaku is a popular and contemporary dance style common among young Nigerians.

According to him, nobody knows what will work in Nigerian politics.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the books — The Path of Fate, Echoes of Yesteryears, Politicrisis, The Golden Rules and Bonds of Destiny – were unveiled at Transcorp Hilton Hotel.
The vice-president said that he believed that reading the books would provide resolutions to a lot of the questions that were raised in the lives of Nigerians and in the lives of children.
He said: “And hopefully, we will be able to find resolution to some of the questions raised in our political lives as well; I know that is one of the reason Alhaji Shittu Kabir, Chairman, Advanced Peoples Democratic Party is here.

“Kabir and I and are the opposite sides but we are here to learn; I was saying the other day that politics in Nigeria is becoming very exciting; you never know what works.

Uploading the picture above the mother of three, penned down a lovely words to her husband, saying;
18 years later, you still make me deliriously happy! I couldn’t have married a better man! The woman I am today, I owe it all to God and you! I love you endlessly. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. My hero! Happy anniversary baby! Forever beckons
Her husband Nnamdi in turn wrote;
What a ride it’s been for 18 years living with this beautiful, dutiful, and resourceful woman, wife and mother. Words fail me to express my immense gratitude to God for the life in the years we’ve lived in grace and wonder. We made our vows, and it seems like we blinked and time gained wings and we became breathless due to the rollercoaster romance. We were one from two, and from that God-given union came three more, yet we remained one at once, never to renounce.
I can’t begin to recall all the nuances that make for the beauty of what we’ve learned that holds us together and keeps it all fresh and exciting. But what I know is that I’m looking forward to many more years, God willing, of more moments together that are also nail biting.
I wish you darling the best the world could offer, but more than that, I wish you the best God has prepared. This is wishing us another happy Anniversary, and pray that this best friend of mine will continue to grow in grace doing and loving all that she ever cared.
I love you more 18 years over, and wouldn’t trade the moments that we’ve shared in light of the beauty that it’s produced. So join me in celebrating another milestone as our marriage continues in momentum, never to be reduced

Their supplies shall dry up because Nigeria shall not see war.” he said
“When a caretaker starts behaving like a landlord he will be removed. God is the permanent landlord of the earth. The God of heaven has given you authority and power. He has given you might and glory. Pride makes us think that we do not need God. Pride separates us from God. Nebuchadnezzar did not give credit to God, and God had enough. God had warned Nebuchadnezzar and had been very patient with him. But finally, the prophecy came true. All of the things that he was so proud of were taken away. Nebuchadnezzar had to eat grass just like the goats and cows! He was used to living in a grand palace, but now he had no shelter over his head; For 7 years, the great King Nebuchadnezzar lived out there in the wilderness like an animal. He lost his mind; he became crazy without God, he was helpless because he refused to listen to the warning from the Lord. Politicians are not extraordinary people, they only have grace, if they don’t harken to this warning of the Lord they will suffer disgrace. Too many arrogant foes, who pose to own this nation, be warned because the day of God’s judgement is here. God enthrones kings and removes kings.”
Bishop David Oyedepo also cursed the killers of Maiwada Galadima, Agom Adara, a Kaduna traditional ruler who was kidnapped and later found dead.
“All those involved in the killing of Galadima and his aides! Their generation will be forgotten. Everyone of the perpetrators they will end up in shame,” he said.
