The Federal Government has approved the immediate deportation of 36 Indians and 2 Democratic People’s Republic of Korea nationals with immediate effect.

The Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, disclosed this in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mohammed Umar, on Tuesday in Abuja.

Mr Umar said the minister who signed the deportation order on Tuesday, in his Office in Abuja said it was pursuant to section 45 (2, 3 and 4) of the Nigeria Immigration Act 2015.

Mr Dambazau in the statement explained that the Indian nationals gained entry into the country with fake visas and counterfeit Immigration stamps, while the Korean nationals failed to regularise their stay upon the expiration of their contract with Zamfara Government.

Mr Dambazau gave the names of the affected nationals as:Mr AN CHUN SIK and Mr JON SU GYONG of the Democratic People’s Republic Of Korea.

The statement listed the names of the 36 Indian nationals as: -Mr Sajji, Mrs Sajji Arvini, Mrs Sunil Babujumma, Mrs Meemi, Mr Papachi, Mr Deva, Mr Rajani, Mrs Kiran Shivachadra, Mr Shivachadra and Mr Shakthi.

Others the statement said are: Mr Prabhukumar, Mr Rajan, Mr Shree Kumar, Mr Jagandeesh, Mrs Mamathaja, Mrs Sheela, Mr Prasad, Mr Pappa and Ms Nirveni

Also named are: Mr Shambhu Kumar, Mrs Reshma, Mr Ravi Kumar, Mr Iraji, Mrs Jinotha, Mr Kishore, Mr Nageena, Mrs Sheelavathi and Mr. Nentaraju/Santhosh Kumar.

The minister in the statement named other the India nationals as Mrs Sumati, Mr Krishna Lokesh, Mr Santhil, Mr Vasantha, Mr Seebu, Mr Vishwanath, Mr Vishwanth Ramya and Mr Rajeshwari.

He reiterated President Muhammadu Buhari’s determination to empower the Nigeria Immigration Service to enhance enforcement of the nation’s Immigration Laws.

The minister in the statement further stated that all foreign nationals should operate within the provisions of the law as the nation would not compromise its immigration laws.

Bishop Daniel Obinim is currently trending on social media after a video of him, wanting to fly to heaven trended earlier, and still trending.

The popular and controversial Ghanaian pastor during a service at one his his church branches, was reportedly trying to vanish into heaven. It appeared that the pastor, during the prophetic and deliverance service wanted to take off into the skies.

“I feel to fly right now, I feel to fly”, Obinim said in the video continuously. “Watch me, I am about to vanish”, he continued in Twi.

He then urged his church members who had the means, to record this groundbreaking exploit of vanishing into heaven. He was instantly surrounded by some junior pastors and some of his congregants who begged him to rescind his decision to leave them on earth.

Despite Pastor Obinim assuring them of returning, they went on to plead for him to stop because their time was not up for him to ‘abandon’ them.

A Nigerian clergyman, identified as Godfrey Emeghalu Godfrey has advised women not to leave their marriages because they were beaten by their husbands.

According to him, the physical assault is only a form of chastisement for their wrongdoing. He says if a woman doesn’t want to be chastised, she has the option of not getting married.

Precious Joshua, a student of the University of Abuja, died on Sunday, after she suddenly fell seriously sick and the school clinic couldn’t handle the emergency.

Local reports show that the 100 level Biological Sciences student fell sick and was first rushed to the School clinic, but because of the pitiable state of the school clinic, they couldn’t handle the urgency of the sickness.

She was rushed to Gwagwalada Teaching hospital, where the doctors tried their best but couldn’t save her.

A statement signed by Okpara Chibueze Jude, the SUG P.R.O, revealed the sad development on Instagram.

It is with deep regret and heartfelt condolences that we write to inform the entire University the painful death of our colleague, a Biological Science student 100level she died as a result of serious sickness.

She was first rushed to the School clinic, but because of the pitiable state of our school clinic they couldn’t handle the urgency of the sickness, she has to be rushed to G/lada teaching hospital, the doctors there tried their best but is late already so she gave up.

We pray that the Almighty God grant her Family, Friends, department of biological Science students and the entire university of Abuja populace the fortitude to bear the loss.

You will be sorely miss, rest in total and absolute peace Precious.

The Kano State Police Command have arrested a Whatsapp Group admin and it’s members in the state, after they allegedly circulated a fake news including an image of a married woman whom they claimed was trafficking children in Kano.

Magaji Musa Maaji, the spokesperson of the Police in the state, spoke to PRNigeria and said that the suspects were arrested and paraded after the victim of the circulated image lodged a formal complaint to the Police Command.

Magaji said:

“We received a complaint from a married woman and a civil servant, Mrs Bushirat Madaki, that her picture is being shared on WhatsApp group with the intent to malign and incite the public against her.

Upon receiving the complaint, the Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Rabiu Yusuf ordered an immediate investigation by a special team who were able to trace and arrest three married suspects – a man and two women for circulating the fake and offensive information.

When confronted over the petition against them, the suspects admitted that the image and material on the woman were shared and forwarded in their group.

They also admitted that they didn’t know the woman in person and have never had interaction with her before distributing the image and the story. They, therefore, sought forgiveness.

For now, the Police Command has granted the suspects bails because the offence is bailable while further investigation is ongoing.

The police command is also currently providing security cover for the innocent woman for fear of mob attacks because her image and the false report on her have gone viral.”

The police spokesperson said it is an offence to share and circulate fake news that could undermine national security or incite the public against innocent people.

“We call on social media users to be wary of what they receive and share or forward on social media, especially WhatsApp. We should guard against the misuse of social media platforms by sharing and forwarding objectionable or fake messages.”
