Following the ongoing Osun State gubernatorial elections, which is said will be reran come Thursday… Nigerian author, Reno Omokri has declared that he’d love for singer, Davido to succeed his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, should the latter win the elections.

He wrote on his Instagram page,
By the grace of God, after the dancing Senator Ademola Adeleke has finished his 2 terms as the PDP Governor of Osun State, I can’t think of any better erson to succeed him than his nephew, Davido. He has shown himself to be a study in loyalty and self sacrifice. I wish he can even be Governor now! #RenosDarts
The heir of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye, Leke Adeboye, has taken to social media to share his own side on the political situation in Osun state.

Following INEC’s declaration of the governorship election in the state as inconclusive, Leke Adeboye has termed any resident of Osun who voted the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as “fool”.
He wrote,
“If you are in Osun and you voted for APC to be honest and this is being neutral o, YOU are a FOOL. The government of APC didn’t pay salaries for over 2 or 3 years. Apart from the train, what did you gain from the last 3 years. And please don’t tell me they built roads, that’s a standard”.

A rerun election has been fixed in the state for Thursday, September 27th. See Adeboye’s comment about the development, below,

Popular Nigerian comedian cum actor, Ayo Makun, AY has stated that he didn’t mean any harm whatsoever for music mogul, Dbanj and his wife, Lineo after he made comments on their vacation.
Nigerian broadcaster, N6, recently criticised the comedian for allegedly making an insensitive comment after D’banj uploaded a video of himself having fun with his wife in Dubai on Instagram.

Reacting to the video, AY wrote;
“Things like this only tell me that we are coming for a naming ceremony soon. Celebrations will never depart from your home. You’ve passed God’s test. Happiness is free.”
Though the post looked harmless, N6 and his co-host, Joyce Onyemuwa, felt otherwise – according to the media personalities, it was wrong for AY to insinuate that the death of D’banj’s child was God’s test.
In a chat with Sunday Scoop, AY said he didn’t think anything was wrong about his post on D’banj’s page when he read other people’s views.

He said;
“It was not necessary (referring to the OAP’s comment about him). Immediately, I saw the comment, I read other people’s views. Once I noticed that other people’s views and how they saw the whole thing contradicted the person who was trying to get attention by slamming me, I didn’t care. He got the backlash at the end of the day.”
Alapomeji Ancestral Records boss 9ice drops the visuals to his recent project which is titled ‘Mercy‘. The video was directed by Yeankeyz.

Davido has reacted after the The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the Osun State governorship election inconclusive.
The reason for the cancellation, according to the electoral body, is because the number of cancelled votes is higher than the margin between the two top candidates.

Peoples Democratic Party candidate Ademola Adeleke led the race with 254,698 votes, 353 votes more than his closest rival, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress.
The margin was, however, less than the 3,498 votes that were cancelled during the poll.
In reaction, Davido is optimistic that victory is certain for his uncle and his party.
He wrote: Victory is certain which ever way …. God’s plan ?? issokay

Meanwhile, Baring any unforeseen circumstance, there might be a rerun in the just concluded governorship election in Osun State.
From the results announced so far by INEC, the two main contenders, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party and Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are running neck-at-neck.
The results obtained by our reporter so far showed that the PDP candidate is leading with just 910 vote margin.
According to the statistics of the results, the margin between the winner and the second runner in the contest would be far below the total cancelled votes in any way the arithmetic goes.

DAILY POST learnt that going by the intent and letter of the electoral law, the margin between the winner and the second runner must not less than the aggregate of the cancelled votes.
As the results of the election stand, the total number of cancelled votes is far above the accrued margin between the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and that of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Although, an agent of the PDP, Mr Dele Adeleke has complained about discrepancies in the allocated votes to his party in Ayedaade Local Government, claiming a total of 1000 votes are missing.
He also identified discrepancies in the figures allocated to APC in Olorunda Local Government, saying instead of 14, 254 votes scored by three party, INEC announced 16,254, citing discrepancy of 2000 votes.
As over three millions people in the state patiently await the announcement of the final results with by INEC with anxiety, the political atmosphere has been observed to be relatively calm and peaceful.

Reality TV star and singer, Teddy A has finally addressed the sex-on-a-plane claims a lady made few months ago. According to the lady on Twitter, she had had sex with the star while they both met on the plane.

She however later denied the claim and maintained that she does not even have any account on the social media platform.
After Sunday Scoop caught up with Teddy A recently, the CEO of Alpha Records said he wasn’t worried when he saw the post.
In his own words,
“I was not moved when I saw the post. If it was true, the news would still be trending. For me, once you are out there, these things will happen. I have already prepared myself for any eventuality that would occur. I saw it, I laughed and I was expecting another thing.”

About five days ago, Nigerian ace comedian, Bovi Ugboma‘s wife, Kris, turned 30 years old and the comic act had taken to his page to celebrate the mother of his three children.

Sharing photos of her on his page, Bovi wrote,
Happy birthday to my baby mama @krisasimonye ??????. She’s got four kids. She adopted the first one (that’s me) and then gave birth to three. Now she’s turned 30 and it’s time to have fun for the rest of her life! #dirty30 #dirty30kris

Fast forward to few days later, the news coupled with a video, of the comedian buying his wife a Benz to celebrate her birthday emerged online.
Apparently, the comedian cum actor surprised his wife with the new whip and it was unveiled to her in the gathering of friends and colleagues, Kris couldn’t contain her excitement.

The gentleman who called Big Brother Naija’s Teddy A and BamBam ‘bastards’ for having sex in the toilet while on the reality Show, Wale Jana has apologized after he was outed on social media.
Teddy A had described him as a hypocrite after he invited him and BamBam to his event. However reacting to the call out post, Wale Jana wrote;
Just got off the phone with @iamteddya I apologise about the whole thing and it was wrong of me to judge and criticise you. It’s been 6 months since that time and I have seen you and @bammybestowed grow stronger. Let’s put this behind us and move on. See you at the event by God’s grace.
Singer, Teddy A however, has accepted the apology, even though his fans still trolled Wale for calling the reality tv stars ‘bastards’.

It should be recalled that BamBam and Teddy A addressed the toilet sex scandal shortly after leaving the reality show – after they were asked what exactly led to the episode, BamBam simply said,
“We were just caught in the mood but what has happened has happened. Everybody who has a greatness story has a process and this is my process, I’ll go through it and I will take it a day at a time. It’s something that has happened and that is it.
“My parents are proud of me. Of course, at that moment they must have been disappointed. That’s what normal parents would do but I’m not less of their daughter,” she said.
