Father of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, Joseph Aloba has reportedly received a car gift from an anonymous good Samaritan.

The news was shared by a Facebook blogger named, BUKKY JESSE PLUG, where she posted the type of car the singer’s Dad was gifted.

He received the car gift days after speaking on air about how his late son had a will that he wasn’t aware of and how the thumbprint on the signature made him suspect foul play.

The singer’s death which had caused a lot of commotion on the internet, has forced the majority to pick sides between the singer’s dad and wife.

The blogger also expressed a sense of gratitude to a certain Oba Asekanmaku and urged her followers to pray for the anonymous giver.

A Nigerian lady has joined the victim of what I ordered versus what I got after the wig she ordered was different from what was delivered.

A video that she shared on her TikTok page @pretty_kerey1, captured both hairs and their major difference.

The hair she had selected to buy was a 10 inches blonde bob wig but she received something way less than a 10 inches hair.

Heartbroken by the result of her order, she decided to call the vendor out for cheating her but was too late because the vendor already blocked her number.

Popular Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has disclosed that an unidentified source had leaked her breakthrough song, “Johnny.”

She said that if someone hadn’t leaked the song in 2014, she would not have released it formally and that it most likely would not have been dropped.

Yemi Alade talked candidly about writing Johnny while on tour in Nigeria and how she never imagined the song would turn her into a worldwide sensation.

In an interview with Taymesan for the Tea With Taymesan podcast, the singer related the tale and mentioned that the song’s leak happened the day she recorded it with Selebobo.

In response to a question, Yemi said;

“Yes, I felt it. I never thought it was a song that leaked; I didn’t release it officially. If you find the picture, it’s a picture of me with some blonde weave.”

Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Toyin Abraham, has disclosed that she had a panic attack upon discovering that her most recent hit film, Maliaka, had been pirated.

The producer said she was hospitalized many times as a result of her panic attacks, speaking with reporters in Lagos as police detained five people related to the piracy.

Toyin Abraham said that the movie gulped N500 million in production and that she has joined the battle against pirates as a result of her experience. She praised the personnel of the Nigeria Police Force for arresting the perpetrators, praising in particular AIG IG Idowu Owohunwa for acting on their words.

Two ladies have been detained in connection with the piracy of Malaika, according to a statement made earlier by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department, or FCID, in Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos.

A spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FCID), ASP Aminat Mayegun, accused the suspected pirates of conspiracy, intellectual property infringement, piracy, and cybercrimes linked to the unauthorized use of cyberspace for the movie’s broadcast while presenting them to reporters at the FCID headquarters in Alagbon.

“Following the receipt of the petition, a joint investigation involving the Special Investigation Units of the Anti-Fraud and Cybercrime Sections of the Department was launched, while the unique intelligence and cybercrime assets of the Force were optimally deployed,”

Sharing on the microblogging platform, X, the influencer stated while he was driving through the traffic he felt hungry and decided to buy sausage roll but he was shocked at the price the hawker mentioned. He also shared the amount he purchased a bunch of plantain, thinking it was not the season and he is not a fan of negotiating prices.

The influencer was shocked at the price he was charged for 50,000 naira at the POS stand; he later realized they were all charging him at high price because of his expensive car.

I was driving through traffic and saw Gala and my tummy suddenly remembered i had not eaten all day. The guy came, i asked how much, “N500 sir”, i was like Gala sef don reach N500? he said “this na the big one.” I said okay it’s probably inflation. I was like chill, so N1k for N10,000? He replied, how much you go pay? That was when it dawned on me, everyone is inflating their prices because of my CAR! Big Brother Naija star Sheggz Olusemo has set the records straight about his relationship with his lover and co-star, Bella Okagbue.

Recent rumors suggested that the popular BBNaija couple parted ways a few weeks ago but were keeping it quiet to avoid public scrutiny.

The speculation also included claims that Sheggz said he is not ready for marriage and made Bella terminate her alleged pregnancy.

Driver slumps and d!es while preparing for work in Lagos

A young Nigerian man, identified as Adebayo Padmore, has collapsed and died in Lagos.

Padmore, a driver with LagRide, passed away in the early hours of January 8 while preparing to start picking up passengers from the Oniru market area of Lagos.

His colleague, Saheed Ayeni, one of the three drivers who rushed him to Louis Med hospital in Lekki, recounted the incident: “He collapsed at 5 a.m. after checking the bonnet before resuming work, and we had to revive him with buckets of water. His last words while we rushed him here were, ‘Don’t let me die.’”

According to Saheed and another driver, Padmore had been treating an undisclosed ailment. Unfortunately, he didn’t survive and was pronounced dead on arrival.

The head of solutions for LagRide, Tumi Adeyemi, stated that an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the cause of his tragic death.

Before his passing, Padmore served as the National Deputy President of the Amalgamated Union of App-based Transporters of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, other drivers from the union have expressed concerns about the hostile working conditions imposed by ride-hailing companies in Nigeria.

They emphasized that daily targets, such as those set by LagRide, put drivers like Padmore under high pressure.

Friends and family of the deceased have taken to Facebook to mourn his untimely death.

Nigerian actor Sean Jimoh has criticized Nigerian youths for not demanding justice for the kidnapped children in Abuja while being quick to seek justice for the late singer Mohbad.

Recall that ten children were abducted by bandits in an estate in Abuja on January 7. Unfortunately, three have been brutally murdered due to delayed ransom payment, and the abductors have now increased the ransom to N700 million.

Speaking on the horrific incident, Sean took to his Instagram to lament the lack of public outcry from Nigerian youths about the abducted children and questioned whether their indifference is because the victims are not celebrities.

He further stated that he has not seen any genuine cry for justice in Nigeria, noting that most protests are turned into an avenue to party or to criticize those who do not participate.

Big Brother Naija reality TV star, Tacha has revealed during an episode on her radio show ‘Big Friday Show’ that a man offered to give her $20,000 to sit at his table.

The media personality disclosed during a conversation with Phyna, a guest on the show, about the offer of five million naira.

Phyna mentioned that the 5 million naira the guy offered to give her, was something she could make on her own, without having to step out of her house.

Deliberating over the 5 million naira offer, Tacha decided to share a similar experience she had at comedian Ay’s birthday party.

Recounting the event, Tacha said, her manager had come to pass a message across to her from one of the guests at the party, who offered to pay her $20,000 if she would sit at his table.

Tacha further added that she turned down the offer because she thought that, if she sat with them at their table, then she would have to follow the man back to his house.

Internet users, however, find it hard to believe the reality TV star. They think that no one would offer such an amount of money just to have them sit at their table.

A young Nigerian man has been captured looking sad and dejected, after he lost 200k to sports betting, a few minutes after winning it.

The video which was shared on Instagram, captured the young man lying on his belly while explaining how the incident happened.

According to him, he had just won 200k from the platform, but decided to re-invest the money to earn more, but ended up losing it all.

He started with 40k, then reduced the money to 10k, but unfortunately, everything slipped away from him in a matter of seconds.

Before losing the money, the young man didn’t take out a kobo to enjoy himself with, which left him hungry and heartbroken.

To mark their first-year milestone, Sammie took to his Instagram page on Monday to celebrate his wife for being an amazing partner, while expressing his love for her.

He shared photos from their wedding with the caption,

Real Warri Pikin shares video of her visit to hospitals where her life was saved after her suic!de attempt in 2017 (video)

Nigerian comedienne, Anita Asuoha, better known as Real Warri Pikin, has taken a trip down memory lane by revisiting the hospitals where she was saved after her suicide attempt in 2017.

Recall that the media personality attempted to end her life on June 6, 2017. She was taken to three different hospitals on that fateful day before being resuscitated.

On June 5, 2023, ahead of the 6th anniversary of her suicide attempt, the mother of three decided to pay a visit to the hospitals.

She shared the video on social media on Monday, January 25, 2024, reflecting on her ordeal between life and death, and advising her followers not to give up on life.

At Comforter Hospital in Lugbe, Abuja, where she was initially rushed to, Real Warri Pikin met the medical doctor who tried to revive her.

During her visit, she expressed gratitude to both the doctor and his wife, thanking God for using them to save her life.

She then told the doctor how much her life has changed positively since the suicide attempt, emphasizing that she wouldn’t have contemplated taking her own life if she knew that things would eventually improve.

She proceeded to Nisa Premier Hospital, the second facility she was taken to on that fateful day. During a conversation with the attending doctor at the hospital, Real Warri Pikin said, “I’m grateful that God didn’t give up on me.”

In her final visit, she went to Garki Hospital, where the healthcare staff on duty immediately recognized her and gave her a warm embrace. One of the doctors vividly recalled being on duty the day Real Warri Pikin was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Based on her experience, Anita encouraged her followers to remain positive. She acknowledged that many are grappling with suicidal thoughts, but if they persevere, things will eventually get better.
