Linda Ikeji Teases Fans With Bits Of Her Baby Daddy’s Identity

Nigerian celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji who is currently in Atlanta, United States to welcome her baby, has confirmed that her baby daddy is from Delta State.

Linda confirmed this report in a new post she shared on her Instagram page. The beautiful photo she shared was with the caption;

“Mummy-to-be to a future Itsekiri big boy ????”

linda ikeji baby daddy's identity

However, since millionaire blogger announced her engagement, a lot of people have been trying to figure out and find out who Linda Ikeji’s baby daddy, fiance or husband is. It was even speculated that the blogger had an IVF for the baby.

Well, in a new post about her extreme love for children and how she intends to be the best mother in the world, Linda Ikeji let it slip that the baby’s father is tall, dark and handsome.

According to a user on the popular Nigerian forum Nairaland, Linda Ikeji’s baby daddy is Sholaye Jeremi, a close associate to Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu.

According to the anonymous user identified by the moniker Nobody, Jeremi resides in Ikoyi, where Linda has her mansion. Pictures of Jeremi found on the internet shows he’s close pals with billionaire Femi Otedola.

The user wrote;

“Linda Ikeji is pregnant for Sholaye Jeremi, a close associate to Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu. He is from Sapele, Delta state. 100% confirmed. The funny thing is there was no engagement as Shola will not settle down although he is 40 plus.

Jeremi also stays in Ikoyi. Very credible, although Linda is trying to manage the situation but this information is 100 percent credible. You can do your findings as well, but thats the guy.”

Before this news broke, some people have even speculated that she was pregnant for popular media publicist Big Sam.

And controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, also alleged, Linda may not be really pregnant for anyone and what she is parading is simply a moonbump.

”I am not afraid of free and fair elections in 2019”- President Buhari

FG begs Nigerians abroad

President Buhari has said that as a beneficiary of free and fair elections, he is not afraid of a credible process in 2019.

The number one citizen, who was speaking at an interactive session with members of the Nigerian community in China yesterday, Sunday September 2nd, pledged that Nigerians eligible to vote in the next general elections will be allowed to freely elect candidates of their choice.

‘‘I have no fear about free and fair elections because that is what brought me to the present position. I know what I went through and very few Nigerians could boast of trying four times. Those interested in participating in the elections must get their PVCs and register in their constituencies and elect anybody of their choice across ethnicity and religion. The Nigerian police, law enforcement agencies and INEC must respect the wishes of the people,’’ he said.

Citing recent elections in Bauchi, Katsina and Kogi States, the President said the country had made progress relative to elections conducted in the past years.

On security issues, the President reaffirmed that his government has succeeded in curtailing Boko Haram insurgents in the country, adding that the terrorist group no longer controls any part of the country. He attributed the success to operations of security agencies deployed to counter insurgency in the North-eastern part of the country.

‘‘You will all recall that we contested the last election basically on three issues, which includes security, especially in the North East. The Boko Haram used to occupy quite a number of local governments in Borno State but they are not in any one now. They have resorted to a very dangerous way of terrorism by indoctrinating young people, mostly girls and attacking soft targets, churches, mosques and marketplaces,’’ he said.

Nigerian Lady shares her terrible experience with a friend who is into runs

Illustrative photo

A Nigerian Lady has taken to her Twitter page to narrate what she went through as a result of being in the right place at the wrong time.

The Lady was on a mission to collect her pay from a client but dramatically saw herself in the police station hours later.

She wrote ;

So I went to collect my pay for a job I did & decided to see a friend I’ve been posting. Got there & we were deep in gist together with her other friends when someone starts banging on her gate. I’m eating & the next thing I hear is “pack all of them. Awon olosho”??

I pick up my phone to call my mum when 2 officers enter & one of them tells me to drop my phone or he’ll end me. At this moment I’m shouting “oga I’m just a visitor sir”. Man tells me “you go visit cell. Oya march out”. I start laughing. It’s what I do when I’m trying not to cry

Got outside & saw 2 more officers & all I’m hearing is ashewo oshi. Awon ole. They seize my phone & bag. At this rate the laugh couldn’t hold back my tears. I know better than to argue with police officers. So I’m asking my friend what’s happening. Girl is acting lost

We get to the station & I’m still crying. I hear someone saying you dey cry like innocent pikin but una dey fuck like dog for money. I look at my friend & her friends but they have this straight face like ‘nothing dey happen’. I know I’m sleeping in cell tonight.

Some man walks in & gives my friend this very bad look then goes into the DPO’s office. An officer goes thru my bag & says “see this one share of the loot. Ole oshi”. My hard earned money. Begged my friend to tell them I’m innocent. All I’m hearing is chill

They drag us into the DPO’s office. I found out my friend & her friends hooked up with this man, did their business and stole from him. Close to $5k. Don’t know how they did it. I just begged my friend to tell them I’m not part of them. She tried to but officer no gree

He said if I’m not part of them, why money dey my bag. Started insinuating I’m the one who stores their loot. Some officers can be daft sha. Anyways the victim asks if I can prove the money is mine. I tell him yes. I call my client. Put it on speaker.

He tells them the exact amount he gave me and what I did for him. Exactly as I told them. He was invited to come bail me. They took me out. Checked my bag, bastards have removed 7k from my money. I don’t mind. I just want to go home.

The client arrives. Drops his details. I drop mine. On the way out I told him they took out of my money. He turned back and demanded for the money to be refunded or there would be trouble. While waiting outside, one of the officers brings my 7k. I was too tired to be grateful

On the way out mans is asking me why I have friends like these. I didn’t even know what to say. I just smiled and told him it’s a long story. I cleaned my mascara stained eyes and head home. Gisted my mum & sis & it’s been laugh all thru. No sorry. Nothing. Just laugh

I just want to soak myself in a bathtub full of chocolate while eating ice cream. I’m tired

“There is no big deal in being my wife’s personal photographer” –Banky W says

The love between Nigerian superstar couple, Banky W and Adesua Etomi-Wellington cannot be overstated, and that has been proven so many times as fans tag the duo as ‘couple goals’

On several occasions, the renowned singer has been seen in different positions trying to take good photographs of his wife and one of the occasions was captured at actor, Gabriel Afolayan’s wedding.

In an exclusive chat with Saturday Beats, the Lagos Party singer said that there was no big deal in taking his wife’s pictures in public despite his fame and fortunes.

He said, “Why would I feel bad taking pictures of my wife in public?

She is my wife and the two of us are one. We are always there for each other and if she needs me to take a picture of her, I would be her photographer. It is the same way around as well; she does the same thing for me. “Marriage is a teamwork and you should be the one that your partner can depend on and it goes both ways. That is the way we operate, there is no big deal in being my wife’s photographer or taking pictures of my wife. What is it in taking pictures of my wife?”

Nina reacts after Miracle ‘dumped’ her.

Nina who was ‘dumped’ by her love interest, Miracle, has reacted to the statement the latter had earlier released.

Recall Miracle in a statement released via his Instagram, noted that though, he is still friends with Nina, but they were never in a relationship or in love.. If you missed it, read below;

Hello my wonderful family. my management just drew my attention to my social media community rivalry and insisted I address it. Abà I beg make Una take am easy, Nina is a nice girl with a beautiful soul and should be treated with respectful courtesy.

Because nobody should be subjected to negativity male or female. I also have a sister, a mother and beautiful cousins and I wish the public respect their space and treat them as strong and capable individual women with equal opportunities as men.

My point is; neither me nor Nina, I believe has ever publicly or in private told anyone we are in love and are dating. We were involved in the house and remained friends since then.

We are young people with prospect and have dedicated our time in building our future not concentrated in relationship. So please (I beg) kindly don’t subject us to an undue imaginary relationship. I keep respecting and love you all for your kind support and understanding. God bless

Of course die-hard fans of Nina didn’t take the news properly, as they felt he just used her in the house to win the game, and now wants to dump her out of the house.

Folks are saying that he must date her, because he was the one who intentionally made her fall in love with him, after their series of fornication in the big brother naija house. (See some reactions here)

In a subtle reaction, Nina wrote:

Hello September!!!!

A new day, a new month, new horizons, new possibilities. Yesterday’s gone, today’s given already & contrary to what’s cliche, I believe tommorow’s promised you & I.

…So OK. I’m not even going to pretend I feel as upbeat as I sound… You care to ask me why?..I understand that not a few persons feel a certain uncomfy way about stuff that’s written about me & I really do appreciate the empathy..but hey!!! Why spew out negativity, why d cursings on d soul of a person, family & future? These ought not to be pls!!!! Its not only unacceptable, its hideous, absolutely diabolical & evil. This is not what my life represents. Its out of sync with my life values & who I am!

I implore everyone who aspires to a greater tommorow to pls cease from this path. Life is also about choices and every one of us will at one point be faced with choosing a pact & afterwards live & take responsibility for our choices. This is d reality of life & of d universe we exist in.

To all you beautiful pple, pls let’s rather detoxify our cyberspace, our world of all things vile, all things untoward that wishes or projects evil or harm to the next person.

If I say oh! Its not really dat serious, that will be a lie & a pretence, BUT I totally refuse to let it be evil.

Thanking you all already & saying God bless.

A man will always be a man — DJ Black Coffee speaks about cheating on his wife

South African DJ, Black Coffee has reflected on an alleged affair that rocked his marriage with actress, Enhle Mbali, Five years ago.

Speaking about the incident to Metro FM’s DJ Fresh last Friday, Black Coffee DJ said that when one is young sometimes sudden fame can overwhelm and lead a person to “slip up”.

Recall that Black Coffee and his wife made headlines in 2013 when it was reported the star had allegedly cheated on Enhle with a model and aspiring businesswoman.

Enhle claimed at the time that the woman was allegedly trying to extort money from them.

Black Coffee said that people needed to understand that he grew up as a kid that had nothing but a desire to be a star‚ and when he suddenly found fame and attention it became overwhelming.

“A man‚ being a man‚ will always be a man. But now when you add the attention from the opposite sex‚ it can be blinding. It is something you will never be immune to as a person. You can try your best and every now and then it’s going to catch up with you. The love becomes overwhelming as a person. You become overwhelmed with everything‚ the success. Before you get used to everything‚ you slip up.”

Black Coffee claimed that the media attention the incident got was blown a little out of proportion‚ but said it taught him how human he was.

“With the tabloid stuff‚ it is a reminder of how human one is. Not just being written about but from also the mistakes one makes as a person. It is something that people should understand when you are dealing with someone who is as real as I am.

“My realness doesn’t stop anytime when the cameras are off or the microphones are off. I am real all the time. Being real means I make mistakes. Being real means I get angry. Being real means I get emotional. But everything that has happened has been a wake up call and a lesson.”

At the inaugural In Good Company Experience Summit in Sandton‚ Johannesburg this week Enhle also spoke about the incident and reflected on how it was her “sisters” that attacked her when the cheating allegations surfaced.

“A sister did me wrong. I heard comments such as ‘she thinks she’s perfect‚ even Beyoncé gets cheated on’. My own sisters make their way to my husband’s inbox in the industry and out of the industry. The very same sisters that I fight for‚” she said.

Since the incident Black Coffee has committed to being a better partner and often showers his wife with gifts and loved up messages.

Nigerian singer, nude model and former prostitute, Maheeda has in a new interview with Sunday Scoop, revealed that she almost didn’t marry her husband.

She disclosed that though money was one of the factors she married him, but she almost ran away at a point, because she didn’t want just only money but love too.

She said, “Money wasn’t the major reason I married my husband but it was one of the factors. I believe it was a matter of destiny; it was meant to be because at some point, I tried to stop it by running away but thank God for my daughter who gave me the push I needed.”

Highlighting the factors that have kept her marriage going over the years, she said;

“Maturity and love are the factors that have kept us together.

My man was the first to be mature in the relationship; then he allowed me to grow and I’m picking it up day by day. Love was not enough.”

The only difference I see is that white men respect you no matter where they pick you up; be it from the street, club, church or work.

I know some women talk of black guys and sex but trust me, some Italian mafias are also very good in that particular area.”

I can’t afford N55m presidential nomination fee – Muhammadu Buhari

presidential nomination fee

President Muhammadu Buhari has told the National Working Committee members of the APC that N55 million nomination fee is too high for him.

According to NewTelegraph, a member of the National Executive Committee of the party revealed that the President “has complained to the party that he could not afford it.”

The President had four years ago complained over the N27.5 million nomination forms for the Presidential ticket and had argued that if he had his way, he would have ensured downward review of the fees.

But the National Working Committee of the APC has reviewed the nomination forms upward to the tune of N55 million. While the Presidential Nomination form goes for N50 million, the Expression of Interest Form costs N5 million.

Also reviewed upward are the cost of nomination forms for the governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly forms.

For the APC governorship ticket, the party reviewed the nomination forms from N5.5 million to N22.5 million, senatorial ticket from N3.3 million to N8.5 million, House of Representatives from N2.2 million to N6.5 million and state House of Assembly from N550, 000 to N1.1 million.

The members of the Not-to-Young-to-Run in APC have vowed to protest the high cost of nomination forms.
Mr. Jide Ola, who spoke to newsmen, said the high cost of the nomination forms was another method to keep the youths from contesting elective positions.

He wondered how youths can afford N1.1 million to purchase the State House of Assembly forms, not to talk of federal legislature tickets.

Indian police arrests Buddhist monk for sexually abusing 15 boys

Indian police have reportedly arrested a senior Buddhist monk, Bhante Shanghpriya Sujoy, accused of sexually abusing 15 boys at a meditation centre he ran in a holy city.

According to reports, Sujoy was detained in the UNESCO heritage town of Bodh Gaya, which attracts tens of thousands of pilgrims every year, after boys complained that they had been beaten, abused and forced to dance naked, police said.

The scandal is the latest to hit the Buddhist establishment after the former head of China’s government-run Buddhist association was removed this week as abbot of a Beijing temple following a sexual assault investigation.

A senior police officer at Bodh Gaya told AFP there are “serious allegations” against Bhante Shanghpriya Sujoy who took boys aged between six and 12 from impoverished families in India’s remote northeast.

“The children complained to their guardians about physical and sexual abuse by their head monk. The children say they were thrashed and sexually abused at the school. They were locked up without food and water if they resisted,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Bhante Shanghpriya Sujoy was first arrested on Wednesday and police are also investigating the trust which runs the school.

“I took advantage of the irregular electricity supply in Lafia to make about N180,000 monthly,” Mr Usman told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lafia on Saturday.

According to him, charging of phones and other electrical accessories has put food on his table and money in his bank account.

“Although, I am not happy that there is irregular electricity supply in Lafia, I can say that has been to my advantage now.

“Had power supply been stable, I would not have been able to make the N6,000 I make at least in a day. If you multiply it into 30 days, it is N180, 000 in a month,” he said.

He told NAN that he powers his business by solar energy to augment his petrol-powered generator, on which he spends N1,000 daily on fuel.

Mr Usman appreciated his customers, and advised the youth not to always wait on the government for jobs.

“Instead, youths can create something worthwhile for themselves. It is always good to have something to fall back on in the absence of the white-collar jobs.

“You can learn one or two skills to enable you survive and live independently,” he added.

“You must date Nina” — Nina fans come for Miracle

Miracle, yesterday decided to clear the air about his relationship status with his ‘in-house lover’, Nina.

Miracle stated categorically that they are not dating, neither are they in love… But they are still very good friends..
