Actress Lilian Esoro’s ex-husband, Ubi Franklin, has finally opened up after divorcing his estranged wife.
Ubi, in a mature way on Instagram, seems to have revealed what went wrong in their marriage.
Ubi wrote ;
“When we put up with each other without love, then the result is grudges, resentment, hate, and a general dislike for others. Putting up with each other in love looks different. Our failure to bear with one another in love is why all sorts of relationships fail.
“Friends, we need to admit something. People are going to irritate us. And I know it is hard for you to imagine but you irritate people sometimes too. We would like to think that everyone else is the problem. But we need to consider that the problem is you.”
Can you imagine living with you? Can you imagine being around you with all of our quirks and idiosyncrasies? We must stop living with unreasonable expectations of others. We do not place these expectations on ourselves.
We must stop living with unreasonable expectations of others. We do not place these expectations on ourselves. We are to bear with one another in love. We will not cease to love others because of their faults!”
Rapper YBN Almighty Jay, 19, has confirmed that he and reality star Blac Chyna, 30, are no longer in a romantic relationship.
He announced in a post via Instagram, but did not disclose why he and the mother-of-two are no longer together.
See his post below:
The duo, who confirmed their relationship in March, reportedly met on Christian Mingle. They were first spotted together in February at Pinz Bowling Alley in Los Angeles.
Reports surfaced in April that Chyna, who shares 5-year-old son King Cairo with ex-boyfriend Tyga and daughter Dream, 19 months, with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian, was pregnant with Jay’s child.
However, it was revealed that Chyna was not pregnant, she’s just “bloated.”
The lady that late 20 year old rapper, XXXTentacion allegedly abused while she was pregnant with his child has cried out after his fans chased her from his vigil and burnt the things she left.
Geneva Ayala had accused XXXTentacion of beating, choking, and threatening to kill her in October 2016, shortly before his career took off.
She was said to be living with him at the time after leaving her abusive boyfriend. She claimed after he locked her up,she managed to escape and reported to the police who immediately arrested him and charged him with multiple counts of assault. He was also placed under house arrest.
Later on, she refused to testify and even moved back with him.
XXX was awaiting trial for the alleged abuse of Geneva, and also for multiple counts of witness tampering in the case. Prosecutors think he coerced Geneva into not testifying against him.
A Nigerian Twitter user with the handle, @dollycent has narrated how he got to win custody of his daughter, Velma after a bitter fight with his baby mama.
According to him, she frustrated all his attempts to be a part of his daughter’s life until Velma spoke up and said she preferred to be with her dad.
Read his tweets below;
“Let me tell a story Iv never shared with anybody before . And it’s about my daughter and the battle I’m fighting to keep her. It’s been a very mentally exhausting last 4 years
My gf at that time in grad school got pregnant . Wasn’t planned and it happened a year before I graduated. As a broke college student I told her I’m not ready for anything extra now other than graduating and getting my life together. So it was tough.
Had Velma three weeks to graduating . Then the real challenge started . We were in a custody battle . I wanted to be in my daughter’s life so bad. The mother got engaged to another man and moved to a different state . I was devastated
NOT even my dad or anybody in my family knew I had a daughter till she was 2. I sent a package to my dad on his birthday , and it was pictures of Velma . The man called me crying . It was emotional for us . So for two years I was only seeing my daughter 5 times a year.
On her birthday which I vowed I will never miss. And on major holidays . The mom did all she can to frustrate me . But I was persistent . I was never going to be called a dad that was never there for his daughter . I booked flights , even got her a tablet at 3 so we can FaceTime
But everything changed on her 4th birthday . On a visit . She told her mum she just wanna be with her dad. Her mum was speechless. At that point she knew she had lost the plot . And said I can see her anytime I want but I should withdraw all our court battle for custody
For the sake of peace I did . And it’s been the best thing to happen to me . Now she has her own Nigerian passport and Nigerian middle name ( Yetunde ) which I made sure is on all her legal documents. I’m so excited . She is my bundle of joy , my life , my everything .”
Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has opened up on his encounter with a witch who put him on the path to reconnect to Nigeria and play for the national team.
Born to a Nigerian father and a German mother, Leon Balogun was born and brought up in Germany with little knowledge about Nigeria.
In a piece for The Players’ Tribune, the Super Eagles defender opened up how he made the journey to reconnect to Nigeria.
The 29-year-old told the story of how his sister led him to see a witch who diagnosed a hole in his aura and how he was still hurting from the death of a loved him.
The loved one turned out to be his grandmother from Nigeria, whom he never met before she died.
“I was amazed. I hadn’t thought about my grandma that much since she passed when I was 16 years old,” the Brighton & Hove Albion defender wrote on his piece for The Players’ Tribune.
“But, this lady was right. My grandma’s death had a huge effect on me, and I had never even met my grandma, who lived in Nigeria. That’s the part that was wild to me.
“This woman, though, she saw it. She told me I had to heal my soul, my heart before I could become the player I wanted to be.
“After we left, I didn’t completely understand if my experience with her was successful. The most important thing that came out of that day was that it got me thinking about my grandma. When I got home, my mind went straight back to the day my dad told me the news.
“Because I had never met her, my dad didn’t tell me right when it happened. He actually waited a few days — that’s how distant my relationship was from her. She only spoke Yoruba. So when we talked on the phone when I was little, my dad would try to translate for us. He had never taken me to Nigeria, for reasons he didn’t make clear to me, and I only ever saw photos of my grandma.”
The grief he felt over the death of his paternal grandmother led him to know more and reconnect with his Nigerian roots.
Reconnection with Nigeria
The reconnection was complete when in 2014 he received a call from the Super Eagles boss Stephen Keshi which turned out to be an invitation to the national team.
“Even after I overcame some of the injury issues I had as a teenager and began playing regular minutes in the 2. Bundesliga and Bundesliga, that thing — the part of my soul that I had been told to heal all those years ago — was still missing from my life,” the defender further wrote in the piece.
“In 2014, I was coming to the end of my contract with Fortuna Dusseldorf. I wasn’t sure where I would go next. There was uncertainty in my life, and from time to time I would think of the witch. What did she mean, ‘heal my soul?’
“One night in March, my phone rang. It was a Nigerian number … it was Stephen Keshi, the Nigerian National Team manager. I was sweating as soon as he introduced himself. I wanted him to say the words I had thought about for so long. He spoke for awhile about how he wasn’t totally familiar with me, but he liked how I played.
“Then he said it: ‘I would like to invite you to be a Super Eagle’.
“Those words … they meant so much to me. It meant validation for every step of my footballing journey. It meant happiness for my family. Most of all, it meant an opportunity to go to Nigeria.

The fans showed their civil side by cleaning up the stadium joyfully as they celebrated Senegal’s 2-1 win over Poland in their opening game of Russia 2018 World cup.
Senegal recorded Africa’s first win at the ongoing tournament. Coached by Alou Cisse, the captain of the Senegalese side which shocked France 1-0 on their road to the quarter finals of the Korea/Japan 2002 World Cup, the Teranga Lions of Senegal scored in both half to record an impressive win.
Led by Liverpool’s Saido Mane, the West African country which is the highest ranked African nation in the FIFA rankings opened their World Cup account through an own goal by Brazil-born defender, Thiago Cionek on 37 minutes.
Senegal, in only their second World Cup appearance since their 2002 impressive debut, however, held on to record an impressive win over the shell-shocked Europeans, and will look to take control of Group H when they meet Japan, who earlier recorded a surprise 2-1 win Colombia, on 24 June.
A 25-year-old man who has been identified as Agaezichi Ogbonna from Akpaa Mbato village in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State has reportedly killed his 52-year-old mother after allegedly impregnating his cousin.
According to Southern City News, it was learnt on Tuesday that following the development, angry youths in Akpaa Mbato village descended on Ogbonna, but for the timely intervention of the soldiers attached to a nearby checkpoint, the suspect would have been lynched.
An anonymous source disclosed that Ogbonna, who is said to be the last son of his mother, was allegedly accused of having sexual affairs with sisters of the same parents at his maternal home.
He was said to have impregnated one of them in the process, an act which the villagers, said was a taboo in their community and Igbo land in general.
It was learnt that defiant Ogbonna was said to have ignored the warning of the community to continue sleeping with one of the sisters whose name was simply identified as Ugochi, which did not go down well with his sick mother.
The source said,
“Ogbonna’s mother who was managing her high blood pressure condition angered by the son’s action and the negative effect his abominable act would bring to the family, decided to raise the alarm after she noticed that her son was sleeping with Ugochi.
“In the heat of an argument with the mother, Ogbonna kicked her on her ribs which aggravated her health condition. She was said to have collapsed and died shortly afterwards when some members of the family who came to her rescue tried to stabilise her.”
A member of the community, who also pleaded anonymity, said that on seeing that the mother had died, Ogbonna tried to run away, but was prevented.
The source said when the news filtered into the community; the youths stormed their compound and took Ogbonna to unknown destination.
The family source said the youths after beating Ogbonna to a pulp was on the verge of setting him ablaze when soldiers, who were alerted, rescued him from the villagers who had already hung tyre on his neck and about to pour fuel on him.
A soldier at the Akpaa Mbato Army checkpoint said they mobilised to the scene to save the suspect from jungle justice when they were alerted to the action the youths of the community were about to take.
Six members of a family are reported to have died after they inhaled generator fumes.
The victims which include, the mother of the house and five children, including a set of twin were all found dead in their apartment.
Their father, who was identified as Tochukwu Okwueze was found still breathing, as he was said to have been rushed to a private clinic along Eweka Street for medical attention.
The incident occurred at Akpata Street, in Egor Local Government Area of the State, where the generator was said to have been left in the kitchen at the family’s apartment on Monday night and left running all night.
It was gathered that neighbours who discovered the lifeless bodies of the victims on Tuesday morning after forcing the door open, raised the alarm of their discovery. Their lifeless bodies were later deposited at the mortuary of the Central Hospital, in Benin, amidst weeping and wailing by sympathizers.
One of the relatives of the deceased, Vincent, explained to newsmen that his younger brother called him from Lagos to inquire what was happening. “He told me to go the house, that something not pleasing to the ears had just happened. I call her (deceased woman’s?) line. Somebody picked the call and said that they (victims) slept and did not wake up. “The whole family was affected. But the police told me that the father survived it. They said that though his case was serious and that if there was the need to rush him to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, they would call me. It is a family of seven. The youngest is a set of twins,” he said.
The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Johnson Kokumo confirmed the incident.

“But at the end of the day, am an African woman who hasn’t forgotten her culture, and one who surprising also happens to be very reserved and conservative at heart.
“So you see, it is only natural that you will see the struggle between both sides of me for as long as I remain an entertainer.
“Now this is not to say that I have any apologies about my work because the camera is my lover and I will do literally anything for him.
“However it is important to me that some people are able to understand ‘That Fact’ without getting carried away with the razzmatazz.”

Folks on social media are of the opinion that Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho is not 19, as he claims he is.
But then, below are some facts about Francis Uzoho, with photos:
1. He won medals at handball tournaments while at Boys Model Secondary School in Owerri.
2. As at 2011, he was still in secondary school.
3. He was discovered by Aspire while still in Secondary school after shining in a tournament sponsored by Coca cola.
4. Two-time winner of the 2012 and 2013 editions of the Mediterranean International Cup in Spain with Aspire’s Team 1998 and 1997 respectively.
5. He only made the 2013 under 17 team at such a young age because three other goalkeepers failed the mandatory MRI scan used to ascertain players’ ages.
6. Uzoho passed the MRI test which has 99% accuracy rate. With the MRI test, Uzoho’s age can NOT be more than 22 MAXIMUM.
These are 5 interesting take-aways from the 2018 World Cup in Russia which is gathering momentum:
1. A World Cup Of Penalties
One of the major things discovered in this World Cup is the high number of penalties awarded in the early stage. In the first round of matches, more than 8 penalties have already been awarded.
– Cristiano Ronaldo scored a penalty against Spain.
– Antoine Griezmann scored a penalty against Australia.
– Miles Jedinak scored a penalty against France.
– Lionel Messi missed a penalty against Iceland.
– Christian Cueva missed a penalty against Denmark.
– Luka Modric scored a penalty against Nigeria.
– Andras Granqvist scored a penalty against South Korea.
– Ferjani Sassi scored a penalty against England.
– Shinji Kagawa scored a penalty against Colombia.
2 Big Guns Are Misfiring
Many of the big teams are misfiring already in the World Cup. Who would have thought Brazil would not obliterate Switzerland? Or who would have thought Argentina wouldn’t annihilate Iceland? How about Germany?!
3 Nigeria Have Everything Wrong Except Their Jersey
From wrong tactics by the coach to lethargic team performance. The play of the Super Eagles have been woeful at best and the only saving grace is the fact that they have the best jersey in the tournament. That’s some succour, right? Their play is so bad that they may be taking over the position of the whipping boys mantra from Iceland.
4 VAR Is Spot On
There have been controversial decisions that the VAR has resolved. From deciding the right card to be given to a player if the referee misses the incident to awarding a correct penalty, the referee’s work is easier and fans are loving this. With the VAR, there are less scandals.
5 Ronaldo And Messi Have Contrasting Starts
While Ronaldo, popularly called Penaldo, has three goals in the World Cup from one match, Messi, popularly known as the GOAT even though Ronaldo’s fans are jealous of this and are trying to call Ronaldo the GOAT too, has no goals yet. While Ronaldo has converted his preferred kick, the penalty, Messi has missed. Remember, though, that the end justifies the means!
Controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky is again in the news, and this time, he’s shared photos of himself rocking Bikini thongs.
Risky has argued multiple times about how ‘feminine’ he wants to be, and has times without number caused controversy about his ‘gender’ on social media.
See the photos he shared below:
Risky, also known as Idris Okuneye, was also slammed by actor Uche Madugwu over his sexuality.
Uche also revealed that Bobrisky would be handed over to the police over an alleged threat to his life.
The actor who claims to be a ‘prophet’ said, ‘’God created Adam and eve not Adam and Bobrisky.’’
In an Instagram post recently, Madagwu said, “In the beginning God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Bobrisky , So when did we get to this point in Nigeria that we now accept this LUNACY and foolery?. Bobrisky your ‘’THREAT’’ on my person is now before The Nigerian police Force, so you can only Run but you can’t hide I’m not your mate in any level. When you’re ARRESTED by the Nigerian police over the ‘’THREAT’’ you made via your social media handle, you ‘ll also provide that evening class TEACHER who helped you compose that wonderful threat post, because I know you’re an extraordinary illiterate, who can’t even write ‘’Original copy received by me’’ without proper guidance.
‘’Some people often say,‘’it’s his/her life let him be’’, but before we know it, thousands of innocent youths in Nigeria will start this abnormal behaviour, where boys would start wearing ’bra and pant’ and kissing their fellow boys in the open . I’m sure some people would say God forbid, my dear, how can God forbid such when right now, so many people are supporting Bobrisky over his nonsense lifestyle, this is how it all starts, before you know it our kids will start making Bobrisky their role model, and that’s it, we ruin an entire generation. Is the BIBLE or HOLY Quran in support of this nonsense attitude from Bobrisky So why are we supporting and giving him HOPE?
Billionaire Blogger, Linda Ikeji, a few days ago launched her online TV, which has apparently, continued to grow by the day.
In a new interview with Business Insider, the soon to be mom, talked about building the online TV and all that it cost her.
Read excerpts from the interview below:
Business Insider (BI): You’ve finally launched your own streaming platform. How does this make you feel?
Linda Ikeji (LI): Seeing your dream come to reality is one of the best feelings in the world. I look at it and think to myself, “What? We finally did it.” This is something I have always wanted to do, probably since I was 11. I didn’t dream this big, I dreamt of working in TV either as a producer or a presenter. I just wanted to be in the media and TV space.
So, getting to this point where I can own an online TV platform is one of the best feelings in the world.
When we first launched, people bombarded our site, subscribing and commenting on shows I was part of 100 percent. It’s an amazing feeling to see people finally view what we have done and commend us like this.
BI: How many shows do you have on the platform?
LI: So far, we have 10 reality shows and 21 TV shows. More content is on the way. What we currently have is just one percent of what we want to produce. We just wanted to launch so people can see some of what we’ve produced so far.
Right now, some of my staff are already on different locations, producing more shows, because we plan to have much more.
BI: How long did it take to put the shows together?
LI: We’ve been working on these shows actively since June 2017. I had to understand that I was a novice producer but I am not a novice at putting things together. As a producer, I was learning on the job. So, we made some mistakes. We hired a few people who didn’t know what they were doing and we had to bring in more professionals. We have gotten it right now. But, that’s why it took us that long to put the shows together. There are over 35 shows. One year is not a bad time to produce that amount of content.
BI: Take us through the process of creating the platform.
LI: Thinking about what equipment to buy and what to replace was hectic, but I fully enjoyed the creative process. I like sitting down with my producers, going through ideas, and going over scripts – I wrote some of the scripts for the shows. I came up with 90% of the titles on the platform. I always argue with my head of programming. I say, “I don’t know how to carry cameras and lights, but when it comes to ideas, I am very creative.”
I think being a blogger for the last 11 years has helped me understand what people really want to watch. Using data from my blog, I see what people want to read and I see that the serious stuff is not as appealing to the youth as the mundane stuff, content about Bobrisky and the lighthearted things that will just make them laugh. They love drama, controversy, and gossip. So when you know who your target audience is, you create content for them.
However, I am not just creating content for young people. On the site, you have “I Survive,”which is for everybody. It’s a show about people who have survived the most heartbreaking moments and they are still standing. Even Betty Irabor is on one of the shows where she comes to inspire people going through all kinds of issues. We have “The Black Room,” which is a sexual show, so it’s not for children.
When you’re putting something together, you have to understand who your target audience is and I knew the people I was targeting. So, probably 70% of our content was targeted at young people and the other 30% for a more mature audience. I haven’t done anything for kids. I am thinking about it, I don’t know if I should, because a lot of the stuff coming is too x-rated to be on the same platform.
BI: How much did it cost you to set this up?
LI: About half a billion naira. We have so many equipment – that’s how we were able to do multiple shoots. We have a lot of cameramen, presenters, sound technicians, and editors who are in-house. We have a mini jib and a fully loaded music studio. Sometimes I think to myself, ‘Did you need to go that far?’ We also have a place in Lekki Phase One that I got for two reality shows in the works. We bought eight cameras there. We have three studios right here. We have the green room here. And then, we have done reality shows with celebrities.
For the reality shows, everything is self-funded. We have some reality shows that have 6 cast and crew members in total. There are people in Magodo right now that I paid for them for at least two weeks. Some people have been there for a month. Some people are there for “Highway Girls,” they are going to be there for two weeks. We are shooting simultaneously and we have to pay for everything. The cost of production is capital intensive.
For the channel, because we can’t create everything at the same time, we had to acquire already produced movies. We haven’t shot any movie at all. I want to make movies completely different movies from what you have seen. My vision for our movies is totally different from what Nigeria currently produces, so I am not ready for movies now.
We have produced only one in-house TV series, and we are shooting another one right now. The one we have now has 22 episodes. It’s on the site – “The Igwe Must Hear This”. I came up with the idea: the name, the style – because I used to really love something called “Ichoku.” It is like a modern remake of “Ichoku.”
I enjoy creating content, from my blog you can tell that this is the same thing – creating content for people to enjoy, content that is informative, educative and entertaining. It’s just on a higher level where you have to turn it into visuals instead of just text.
BI: You’re primarily a blogger, now you’re producing your own TV shows. How much training did you have to go through to get to this point?
LI: None. Absolutely none. I wasn’t reading anything. I didn’t google ‘how to be a producer’. For things like this, it is important to bring the right people onboard. I have my head of programs, Theo Ukpaa, who is amazing and has worked in the industry for 10 years. I have learnt a lot from him in terms of production.
I am the brain behind the creation of ideas and he is the brain behind the production. We joined forces and got the right people to work with us. Of course, we made a lot of mistake in the beginning. We hired the wrong people, but they all left and we got people who are dedicated, loyal and love the same things that we love, people who really want to see this business succeed.
BI: You have created an app for the platform, tell us what informed the decision.
LI: When you create content on desktop, you need to have a mobile version of it, because 90% of people access internet content on their phones. So you have to consider that. The desktop version is extremely useful, but it’s not as useful as mobile. When you’re in transit, when you’re in traffic, you can open your phone and check. You probably only use the laptop when you are at home or in the office. That’s why it is called mobile, everywhere and anywhere you are, you can access content. This comes in handy when people are stuck in traffic and need to keep themselves occupied. When you are in traffic, you pick up your phone, plug your earphones and watch whatever you want to.
I told the developers that the apps are very important and we weren’t going to launch without them. iOS was taking time so we launched with Android.

“She no longer respects the guy. On multiple occasions, she has called for an end to the relationship but anytime the boy tries to move on, her parents will intervene and calm him down.
“This is the fourth apartment the same guy has rented for her. What got him even furious is that recently, he saw a four-wheel drive in the house and when he asked of the owner, Fella gave him a cheeky response and so he decided to end everything and that is why he is shutting the shop, which he rented for her,” the source revealed.
However, Fella Makafui has shown in an Instagram post that she is ready to put all of that behind her and move on.

Football legend, Diego Maradona is unhappy with his country’s World Cup draw with Iceland, warning the national team manager, Jorge Sampaoli that he would not be welcome back home unless he changes his tactics.
Argentina got a rude shock in their opening match against Iceland and need to win their remaining matches against Croatia and Nigeria to be able to avoid the disgrace of an early exit from the Russia World Cup.
“If he carries on like this, Sampaoli can’t come back to Argentina, it’s a disgrace. Not having prepared for the match knowing that Iceland are all 1.90m tall. I get the feeling there’s a general anger at the heart of the team,” Maradona said.
He added that the road to qualification is difficult pointing Nigeria as a stubborn opponent that may stop them in their last qualification match.
‘’The Nigerians are young and very fast. Their counter-attacks and pace are a beauty to behold. I wonder how Sampaoli will do it. All I know is that he would not be welcomed back to Argentina if he does not guide Argentina to beat Croatia and Nigeria to qualify.”
Sequel to the opening Group D World Cup match of the Super Eagles against Croatia on Saturday which ended with a 2-0 victory in favour to the Crotian team, Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has disclosed that Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi is a bad number 10.
Mourinho stated this after Nigeria’s loss to Croatia on Saturday. The Portuguese gaffer, who signed Mikel for Chelsea in 2006 and converted him from an attacking midfielder to a defensive midfield, said Nigeria has lost a good defensive midfielder in the person of Mikel.
Speaking as a World Cup pundit on the Russian TV station, RT, Mourinho said, referring to Mikel: “Nigeria lost a good No.6 to get a bad No.10.”
Mikel has often played an advanced role for the Eagles, while he played a much deeper role for Chelsea successfully for close to 11 years.
The Eagles will face Iceland on Friday needing a win to keep hope alive.

A lesbian couple was kicked out of their Uber ride by the driver because the girls were kissing each other in the back seat. Now the driver has been banned by Uber for being homophobic.
Alex Iovine and her girlfriend, Emma Pichl, were riding with the car service on Saturday evening, when they started smooching and snuggling in the back seat. The driver pulled over and told the girls to get out of the car, saying they were being “disrespectful.”
The girls recorded the incident and released a video that shows the driver’s name and license plate. During the argument, the couple threatened to call the police and have the driver fired.
Uber has removed the driver’s access to its app, saying it does not tolerate discrimination.
Blonde-haired lesbian Alex Iovine and her brunette lover, Emma Pichl, were riding in an Uber from a friend’s birthday party to another party in Manhattan on Saturday night. While in the back seat of the car, the girls leaned in and started kissing each other.
The driver, identified as Ahmad El Boutari, pulled the car over and told the kissing lesbians to get out of his car. “You can’t do this in the car,” El Boutari said. “It’s inappropriate.”
Uber’s terms of use prohibit riders from engaging in sexual conduct during rides. The amorous girls, Alex Iovine and Emma Pichl, say they are aware of the policy, but claim that the driver is homophobic.
Reports state that the lesbians locked lips in the back seat after a night of partying. The female lovers also may have been handling each other in a sexual manner.
El Boutari says that he took offense to more than just the kissing. “I did what I believe is my freedom,” he said.
He says the lesbians were acting “crude” in his cab. One forced the other to smell her armpit, one put her feet on his seat, they were playing loud music, and then the girls started making out, El Boutari says.
“It’s my own car. I didn’t feel comfortable with them,” he said. The driver said he asked the girls to stop kissing, but they refused. At this point, El Boutari kicked the lesbians out of his car.
According to Uber Community Guidelines, passengers agree to the following upon entering the vehicle: “Don’t touch or flirt with other people in the car. As a reminder, Uber has a no-sex rule. That’s no sexual conduct between riders, no matter what.”
The female same-sex couple admit they kissed in the back seat of the car, but claim it was merely “a peck.” Moreover, they accuse El Boutari of being homophobic.
According to LinkedIn, Alex Iovine attended Manhattan College and works in advertising. Her girlfriend, Emma Pichl, studied at Fairfield University and went to Notre Dame School, and works as a recruiter.
Ahmad El Boutari, meanwhile, is now unemployed. Uber revoked his ability to drive for the ride-sharing app, and the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission has suspended the driver’s taxi license, pending an investigation.
Angela Okorie had earlier on shared a post on her IG page condemning single mums for bashing their baby daddies on social media while celebrating fathers day.
Her colleague, Mary Remmy Njoku however has disagreed with her post, saying men who do not contribute to their child’s welfare deserve public and private humiliation.
