There appear to be more woes for Nigerian singer David Adeleke, better known as Davido, as his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has accused him of cyberbullying and harassment.
This was mentioned in a cease-and-desist letter filed by Sophia’s legal team, PUNUKA Attorneys and Solicitors, and issued to Davido’s legal representatives.
In the letter that surfaced online in the late hours of Wednesday, January 10, Davido and his associates were accused of organizing cyberattacks, defamatory remarks, and threats towards Sophia and her inner circle.
The letter stated that Davido’s alleged actions are in direct violation of Sophia’s constitutional rights and ignored fundamental principles of decency and respect.
They added that Davido will be held accountable if anything happens to Sophia because it will be a manifestation of his threats.
According to the letter, Davido’s behavior is affecting their efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution and arrangement regarding their daughter, Imade Adeleke’s welfare and care.
This letter surfaced online barely two days after singer Tiwa Savage issued a petition to the police against Davido for threatening her because she posted a photo of herself with his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, on her Instagram story on December 23rd, 2023. ICYMI, read here

She revealed this during a recent podcast session with her co-star, Uriel, on Spill with Phyna, where they discussed how they can change the narrative surrounding female BBNaija stars and assertions that they are promiscuous.
According to the actress, she went to a club to have fun as usual when a male fan who accessorized his outfit with heavy chains and jewelries approached her and offered her N5 million to sleep with him.
She said she was upset by the offer and told the man to call out his account number so that she can send the said sum to him, to seemingly prove that she can’t be bought and that she is worth more than that.
Phyna, however, noted that the man refused to disclose his account number following which she sent him away for indirectly disrespecting her.

She left a note behind, where she listed the reasons behind her action, one of which happened to be the state of the economy.
The post which was shared online, had been circulated on all social media platforms accompanied by a picture of her lifeless body lying on the floor of a restroom.
According to the late banker, nothing seemed to be working in her life, the state of the country’s economy didn’t seem to be helping matters as well.
Acknowledging that the decision she made was wrong, she apologized to her parents and loved ones and begged God to have mercy on her.

Nigerian National football team, Super Eaglesarrived at Aéroport International Felix Houphouet Boigny d’Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire ahead of the 34th African Cup of Nations 2023 football tournament.

Father of late singer Mohbad, Joseph Aloba has shared during an interview with TVC why his son is yet to be buried.
Speaking with the reporter, he shared that the singer’s burial is being delayed because the DNA and autopsy result are yet to be out.
Recall that after the singer died, investigations were being carried out to find out the reason behind the singer’s untimely death.
It was also reported that the toxicology and autopsy test were been carried out outside the country due to the lack of facilities in Nigeria.
Mohbad’s father started by acknowledging that he once buried his child, but his body was later exhumed to assist the ongoing investigation.
When asked by the reporter if he was aware that the DNA has to do with the family and not the police, he responded by saying the family needs the DNA result, because they have no idea where his grandchild, Liam’s, placenta was buried.
He said,
“When Liam was born, I have no idea who his placenta was handed over too, because immediately Liam was birthed, my son called me and I responded, then he said no need again and this has been happening for a long time now. I remember when he bought a land and his mother-in-law was the one in charge of the land, the same thing happened in the case of his placenta, were he told me not to bother, that he has arranged for people who will bury it. It was after his wife made mention of it that I remembered and questioned myself regarding who was with the placenta. [sic]”
Mohbad’s father also revealed that, in their tradition it is the fathers family who is suppose to take care of the placenta but that opportunity was not given to him.
Mohbad’s father has now stated that no matter how long it takes for the DNA result and autopsy result to be out, they would wait till then.

A Nigerian doctor has made a plea for help online, asking for assistance following an incident where a junior doctor dear to him, narrowly escaped a life-threatening attack and was compelled to resume work by the Managing Director of the hospital where she is serving her NYSC assignment.
According to Twitter (X) user, @enodamade, the junior doctor was assaulted in the accommodation provided to her by St Theresa’s Hospital Use Abat in Ibiono Ibom, Akwa Ibom.
Shockingly, the doctor was allegedly told to return to work on the very next day after the horrifying incident occurred.

Different reactions have trailed after a lady took to microblogging platform X, to share a picture of the ice cream she was consuming.
Few minutes after she shared the post, her comments and quotes were filled with different opinions as majority described the dessert as ‘cement’.
It appears that they all happen to have a problem with the ice cream color, which looked like charcoal in the plate.
While some concluded that she was consuming cement, others asked her what flavor of ice cream it is and where she got it from.
To satisfy their curiosity, she revealed that the flavor of the ice cream is ‘charcoal lychee’ and she purchased it from a supermarket.
After revealing this, many continued insinuating that what she was consuming is cement which caused her to react by saying “y’all have never heard of charcoal ice cream??!”

Media personalityPatrick Doyle has revealed that no woman has cooked a better meal for him than his wife, Funmilayo, and his former classmate’s wife, Mercy Kuku.
The 62-year-old actor made this revelation while celebrating his former classmate and his wife in a post shared on his Facebook page recently.
According to him, Mercy blew his mind with her culinary skills when he stayed at their home in Atlanta, US. He shared this to appreciate her for being an amazing hostess.
He further stated that no other woman has impressed him with their cooking skills like his wife, Funmilayo, and his former schoolmate’s wife.
It’s worth noting that Patrick was previously married to veteran actress Ireti, but their marriage didn’t stand the test of time. He thereafter married his new wife, Funmilayo, months later.

“For whatever reason today, I am in a mood to remember and thank people who have left an indelible impression on me in the recent past. This is Mercy Kuku my schoolmate Kenny Kuku’s wife. Nigerian singer, Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, has stated that it would be unrealistic to expect him to release the sort of music with which he began his career.
The “Playboy” singer claimed that since the 2019 release of his debut album, “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps,” his music has evolved.
In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Fireboy DML said as much, adding that it would be hard for him to work on another project of similar calibre given that he’s become a millionaire with exposure
Additionally, he disclosed that he had dabbled in some of the things he had sworn he would never do before becoming a millionaire.
The YBNL musician advised anybody who is dissatisfied with his new sound to check out his debut album if they want to hear the ‘old’ him.

A non-Muslim Nigerian man has shown that love knows no religion by affirming his wife’s religious standing at their wedding ceremony.
Despite not being a Muslim himself, the man married a staunch Muslim woman. To express his full support for her religion, he presented her with a Quran, Tasbih, ablution kettle, praying mat, and a Khimar as gifts at their wedding.
The Muslim bride, who goes by the TikTok handle @Lightsmummy, shared this heartwarming revelation in a recent video on the platform.
She revealed that her husband stated that since he married her as a Muslim, she will remain a Muslim forever, and he has no intention of converting her to his religion.
However, she didn’t disclose his actual religion and simply referred to him as ‘Non-Muslim’.
“My non-Muslim husband wrapped me in Quaran, tesbir, praying mat, Khimar and ablution kettle as a gift. When asked why, he said ‘I married her a Muslim and she remains one forever, I am not letting her leave the God that brought her to me”.
Interestingly, their union has sparked a huge controversy on social media, with some Muslims expressing their disapproval of the marriage.
They asserted that the marriage is null and void because a Muslim woman is not permitted to marry a non-Muslim man. They also argued that only a Muslim man is allowed to marry a non-Muslim.
Internet users have been forced to pick sides in the ongoing drama between Nigerian singer, Davido and Queen of afrobeat, Tiwa Savage after a video of him speaking about how he sent his fans to bully a show promoter and destroy a club was shared online.
The video which was shared on the microblogging platform X, captured the singer speaking about both incidence freely while on air.
Few minutes after the video surfaced online, some internet users stated that for Davido to be speaking about such freely, then Tiwa Savage was not wrong after all.
Recall that, Tiwa Savage had flied a petition to the Commissioner of Police against Davido for threatening her, after coming across a content she shared on her Instagram story with one of his baby mama’s, Sophia Momodu.

Nigerian actress Eniola Badmus has received backlash from Nigerians after appreciating the presidents son, Seyi Tinubu for making life easier.
The entertainer took to her Instagram page to appreciate the politician and business man by sharing a picture of his, then proceeded to thank him for making life easier.
The post which the actress made to acknowledge the politicians act of kindness to her, didn’t interpret to many as such, as it caused an uproar online.
Majority trooped to her comment section to troll her, while others questioned her about how exactly he had made life easier by, stating some of the difficulties the country is currently facing.
Eniola, who has always been a supporter of the politicians party, appeared unbothered by the rants in her comments section as she carried on to share more content on her Instagram story.

Nigerian businesswoman Maureen Esisi has been heavily criticized on social media for driving irresponsibly with one leg on the dashboard.
The influencer, who was previously married to actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, shared a video of herself confidently driving with one of her legs up, instead of placing both legs on the floor.
Her action is strongly discouraged as it puts her at risk and endangers the lives of other road users. In the event of an unexpected situation or a collision, she could easily lose control of the vehicle and suffer severe injuries to her leg and torso.
However, Maureen apparently did not consider the risk of placing her leg on the dashboard while driving and even went as far as filming it to post on social media.
As expected, she has received massive backlash for being irresponsible and seemingly chasing clout with something as dangerous as that. Some added that her ex-husband, Blossom, made the right choice by ending their marriage.
Others asserted that she is suffering from depression due to her failed marriage, hence her constant need for attention online as an outlet, and urged people to be kinder to her.
A man has taken to social media to mourn the loss of his girlfriend, who tragically passed away due to complications from menstrual pain while also battling ulcer.
The bereaved man, with the username @richden019, shared videos of his beautiful lover on the microblogging platform X as he grieved her sudden demise.

The sad news raised questions about the cause of her death, and he revealed that she died from period cramps.
According to him, whenever she is on her monthly cycle, she suffers severe abdominal pains. Sadly, she succumbed to the pain this time around.
“Anytime it’s her time of the month, she has this weird abdominal pains. This time it took her from me😭,”he wrote.
A Twitter user, evidently surprised by the cause of her death, then asked if she had an underlying health condition, and he revealed that she had ulcer.
He explained that whenever the period pain kicks in, she finds it difficult to eat because everything disgusts her, seemingly triggering her ulcer.
The X user tweeted, “Condolences bro. But the story still no clear. Intense pain could pass you out and even end if you body can’t take it anymore but I’m sure there’s also an underlying health issue.”
In response, the grieving man said, “Yes there is, she has ulcer and when the pain kicks in she doesn’t eat anything. Everything disgusts her.”
