A Nigerian man has taken to social media to celebrate his wife who chose to stay back in Nigeria and marry him instead of going to Australia.

On the occasion of their third wedding anniversary, the man recounted how his wife turned down the opportunity to relocate to Australia to study because she wanted to marry him.

Sharing photos with his wife, the man with the handle @nanpon_majau on X (formerly Twitter) teased his wife about her decision to give up the life-changing opportunity because he wouldn’t have done the same if he were in her shoes..

He, however, noted that they are living a happy life in Nigeria and expressed gratitude to his wife for her sacrifice.

Since their wedding, the couple have welcomed their first child and have another one on the way.

Popular Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has described how six different pastors took advantage of him after realizing his urgent need for a miracle in his life.

Jim Iyke recalls his contacts with Pastor TB Joshua, the late leader of the Synagogue Church, and other godly men in 2013.

Jim made headlines in 2013 after a video of him losing his temper in church leaked.

Jim confessed that his participation at the church was solely prompted by his fervent hope for his mother’s recovery, which was driven by a feeling of desperation at the moment, in an interview with Gbadewonuola Olateju Oyelakin, also known as Teju Babyface.

He said;

“The only thing they could do was attack my personality, attack my integrity, I’ll never be desperate again in my life. Desperation was what took me there, to take my mother there, hoping that a man of God, quote and unquote would heal her.

She lives here day and night, I still have conversations with her, she’s never left. When I’m done praying with God she is the next person, I know how many times my mum appeared to me in dreams, if she were to live twenty TB Joshuas will not stop her.”

While sharing his experiences, Jim Iyke remarked that TB Joshua was not the only spiritual guide he sought out.

He asserted that he had spoken with five or six different men of God, and he was blunt about how they had taken advantage of him and cheated him.

He added:

“It was her time, nobody would have made me enter that space, he wasn’t the only one I went to, I have been to five or six men of God, is it because I don’t want to mention names?? How they drove me the money they took from me.”

The Nigerian singer, Mohbad who died on the 12th of September 2023 left behind his wife and five month old son and a number of internet users have been clamoring they interrogate everyone close to him, his wife included.

Madam Iyabo Ojo has now revealed that the Nigerian police force have interrogated his wife three times, giving the periods and location.

Popular reality tv star Mercy Eke also referred to as ‘queen of highlight’ has revealed in an interview with event host Hero Daniel that she is going to buy a baby.

Mercy Eke who was the first runner up in the just concluded Big Brother Naija All Stars season mentioned earlier on the show that she was going to have a baby by thirty.

Mercy reaffirmed her decision about having a child while speaking with Daniel, she opened up about buying a baby which according to her means paying a surrogate to carry the baby.

In her words,

“Before all these things I said by thirty that I was just going to buy a baby not like buy a baby just get someone take my egg get someone to be a $perm donor and just hire a surrogate and have a beautiful baby cos anything that gives you happiness that’s what I was thinking.”

She further revealed that the why she has decided to have a baby is because of her mum “My mum and her village people that she’s always going from one trad to another bringing soup, they are now telling her when is your daughter bringing her own soup, I said mummy nobody should pressure me oh stop going stop collecting soup, She said.”

However the way and manner with which she presented the issue did not sit well with quite a number of internet users, as many condemn the term she used ‘buy a baby’ while others encouraged her to do whatever makes her happy.

Wanted Lagos big boy arrested for alleged 2 billon fraud by EFCC

In a significant breakthrough, operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended a Lagos big boy, Chike Nosa Agada, on charges of an alleged N2 billion fraud.

The 37-year-old suspect, hailing from Udi LGA of Enugu State, was captured during a sting operation conducted at a lavish residence in the upscale Bourdillion area of Ikoyi, Lagos.

Chike Nosa Agada, an unlicensed foreign exchange dealer, had been declared wanted by the EFCC on October 11, 2023.

The Commission accused him of engaging in fraudulent activities, including obtaining money by false pretenses and stealing by conversion to the tune of N2 billion. Acting on credible intelligence, the EFCC operatives swiftly moved in to apprehend the suspect.

During the operation, a mobile device was recovered from him which may serve as crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation.

The EFCC has stated that the suspect will face charges in court once the investigations are concluded.

The arrest of Chike Nosa Agada has caused a stir on the net, the allegations of his involvement in the massive fraud scheme have captivated public attention, highlighting the prevalence of financial crimes and the EFCC’s commitment to combating such offenses.

Social media users have hailed a Bolt driver who trailed the police officers that arrested his passengers in the early hours of the morning on the 17th October 2023.

The Bolt driver who mentioned that he picked up his passengers, two young men from Landmark beach and was taking them to Lekki phase one, said they encountered the police officers at the Lekki phase one entrance, where they pulled them over to search him and his client.

He added that after the search, nothing incriminating was found on any of them then the police officers requested that his passengers provided a means of identification and when they couldn’t provide one the police officers asked his passengers to join them in their own vehicle, an unbranded sienna.

The Bolt driver however followed the police vehicle to know where his passengers where being taken and made videos while on the move.

The police officers stopped at Onikan, Nigeria police zone command 2 where they extorted a sum of twenty five thousand naira from the young men using a POS machine.

Other people that have been victims of the incident have began to speak out online, majority of them identified the bank account number as the same one they sent money to when they were extorted by the police.

Reacting to this, the Superintendent of police Benjamin Hundeyin commended the netizen who shared the video on X (Twitter) and advices that he reached out to the zonal PPRO attaching her phone number stating that this is not under the Lagos police.

Actor Van Vicker and wife celebrate 20th wedding anniversary

Popular Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker, and his wife, Adjoa, are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary today, October 17.

The 46-year-old actor, who shares three children with his wife, took to his Instagram page to mark the significant milestone earlier today.

He mentioned that they met thirty years ago but their marital journey began twenty years ago, citing how long they’ve been together.

Van Vicker posted a photo of himself with his wife with the caption,

“The journey of togetherness began some 30 years ago.

It was locked in 20 years ago.

Happy 20th wedding anniversary to us.

It’s a blessing and no paltry sum.

The Ghanaian actor said when his mates were enrolling to go to the university in 1997, his single mother couldn’t afford to send him to school.

If free SHS was available back in the day, most likely I would have graduated in 2000/2001.

My career took off and I have been blessed but as someone who relishes education getting that degree was just a matter of time.

An American woman has taken a dig at Nigerian women who advised her against dating Nigerian men because they are not ‘good’ people.

The woman initially shared a video where she stated her preference for dating Nigerian men because they literally worship and ‘bow down to her feet’.

She added that American men do the bare minimum for them, but Nigerian men respect their partners and marriage, and would never watch them suffer.

Apparently, the video attracted criticisms from Nigerian women who warned her against getting involved with Nigerian men because they are not as good as they seem.

In response to the negative comments she received, particularly from Nigerian women, she posted a follow-up video defending her choice.

She questioned the criticism, stating that if Nigerian men were truly as bad as portrayed, then why are Nigerian women still dating and marrying them.

She also mentioned that she can’t take the advice of Nigerian women, citing their tendency to stay in marriages even after discovering their husbands’ infidelity.

Nigerian woman appreciates God for saving her life after finding two snakes in her bedroom (photos)

A young Nigerian woman, identified as Jay Jameypeters, has expressed gratitude to God for saving her from potential snake bites.

In a post shared on her Facebook page, the woman revealed that she found two snakes in her bedroom, much to her dismay.

According to her, she found one of the snakes under her bed, while the second one was making its way out of her room on Sunday night, October 15.

She posted pictures of the reptiles and expressed her appreciation to God for sparing her life, as things could have gone fatally wrong if she hadn’t seen the snakes.

She also revealed that one of the thieves who had attempted to steal her father’s car battery was apprehended on Monday morning.

She wrote,

“God was faithful to me last night. I saw two snakes in my room one crawling under my bed while the other was leaving my room. And there was no lights by that time and my phone was my only source of light before it went down 30 minutes later. I thank God for saving me. Two men came to steal my Dad’s car battery this morning. A neighbor alerted everyone and the thief was caught, one fled away though. It’s all God o. I Thank him.”

A Nigerian social media slay queen identified as Sxxydimma, has disclosed that she performed a Brazilian buttlift (BBL) as a result of Mercy Eke serving as her role model.

The young woman revealed this to content creator Egungun on the street when he inquired about whether or not her bottom was genuine.

Sxxydimma admitted that she had to visit a plastic surgeon and pay $5,000 for butt enlargement because her derriere isn’t a natural shape.
