“Mohbad was a traitor. He was k!lled by Naira Marley’s enemies” – Singer Portable (video)

Singer Portable

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, widely known as Portable, has accused his late colleague, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, of betrayal.

Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances. After his death, some netizens accused his former label boss, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry, of causing his demise.

 Singer Portable

Videos showing Sam Larry bullying the singer circulated online, sparking public outrage and resulting in the arrest of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, who are currently in police custody.

In a recent video addressing the controversy, Portable alleged that Mohbad’s betrayal led to his death. He also claimed that Naira Marley was not involved in Mohbad’s demise. Instead, he suggested that it was Mohbad’s associates after leaving Marlian Music who were responsible for his death.

 Singer Portable

Portable emphasized that Naira Marley, who played a significant role in Mohbad’s career, could not have been involved in his death. He went on to pray that God vindicates Naira Marley because he is a helper.

His words loosely translated in English,

“It was Naira Marley’s opponents that killed Mohbad because he was a traitor. He was chilling with Naira Marley’s opponents, that’s why they killed him. Don’t be so bad in case you want to see it tomorrow. Naira Marley is innocent; he was implicated. But God will save him because he is a helper.

The death that killed Mohbad is the death of a traitor. The music industry is casted. What I don’t want to say, I will say it now. They roped in Naira Marley and Marlian music.

When Mohbad had a problem with Marlians, he said they did not like him. Who doesn’t like him? Who doesn’t love you? Someone that built you later doesn’t love you? He left and ran to Marlians haters and enemies and started rolling with them. You should know the people I’m talking about.”

“Are you homeless or unloved at home?” – Solomon Buchi tackles women who spend days at their boyfriend’s house, cooking and cleaning for him

Solomon Buchi tackles

Social media commentator, Solomon Buchi, has taken to social media to address women who spend multiple days at their boyfriend’s house.

Known for his controversial stance on lifestyle issues, Buchi questioned whether these women are homeless, feeling unloved at home, or struggling with personal boundaries.

He emphasized that staying overnight at the home of a man to whom they are not married may expose them to sexual temptations and expectations to perform household chores.

Solomon Buchi tackles

Read his full post below,

“One of the reasons some men expect you to cook and clean for them while dating, is because you’re open to spending the weekend with them. You shouldn’t be spending multiple days in a boyfriend’s house. First, it minimizes chances of falling into sexual sin. Secondly, it shields you from some bizarre domestic expectations from musty men. Some women start sleeping at their boyfriend’s after two weeks of dating. Are you homeless, unloved at home, and lack personal boundaries? Why won’t he pack all his dirty clothes and plates and order you to wash them? You act homeless and untrained.

A woman’s comportment and conduct conveys her worth than who she deludedly believes she is. If a man is not husband, there are things you shouldn’t do for him, not because love is lacking, but because covenant is lacking. Covenant is the bedrock of marital obligations. So how will a man know his GF’s domestic abilities if she shouldn’t spend nights in his place?

I’m not saying that every man will order you around like a domestic staff because you spent a weekend at his. But it is safer and more respectful not to date in that fashion.

2. You can cook for your boyfriend, but how about you cook in your house and take it over? Why must you sleep over just to cook? Many women do not understand the psychology of being a wife. No reasonable man wants a girlfriend to act wife without a wedding ring. Visiting your boyfriend, staying over at his place and cooking for him, can be permissible during courtship, after engagement. At this point, families have met, your pastors have met, church is aware and it’s official. But boundaries must be defined, because sexual sin…

A man doesn’t NEED to have you cook to know that you’re domesticated. From conversations — how you speak about building a home, and how you fulfill these roles in your father’s home — he will know. Stop acting homeless, or you’ll tirelessly cook and clean for alpha malusss”

“He was my mentor” – Seun Kuti reveals how Tinubu inspired him

Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has revealed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was his political mentor while growing up.

The late afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti’s son claimed that individuals such as the previous governor of Lagos State taught him a lot of the concepts he knows today.

Seun revealed this information regarding his connection with the president in a recent interview with well-known journalist Chude Jideonwo.

As a prominent figure in the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), which battled for Nigeria’s democracy after the military cancelled the June 12, 1993 presidential election, the singer claimed to have drawn inspiration from Tinubu.

Seun Kuti claims that while he is not politically connected to President Tinubu, whom he called an uncle, they had been friends for a long time.

He said;

“My relationship with President Tinubu on a personal level is very robust. I grew up knowing him as an uncle. He was a very good friend of uncle Beko [Kuti]. He was a political mentor to me growing up as a child.

Many of the ideas that I understand today, it was these men that taught me as a child growing up. Knowing them fighting for democracy in this country with NADECO, even when he [Tinubu] went on exile… Wale Soyinka, uncle Beko, Asiwaju, these were the men who fought for our democracy.

During Tinubu’s first term as Governor of Lagos State, I performed at all his rallies. I’ve always been close to him personally. But I don’t have any political relationship with him. And even at that, I don’t think it’s anybody’s business. I’ve not been to his house in years except when I need to see him for national issues.

So, these things that people say are just to tarnish your image. They make it seem like everybody must be paid for what they’re saying. No, no, no. What’s the truth is the truth. And I say it regardless of fear or favour of anybody.”

“I was barely 14 when I lost my virginity in my father’s house” – Cynthia Morgan continues to call out her father

Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan has revealed that she lost her virginity at the tender age of 14.

Recall that the singer blasted her father, requesting a DNA sample and criticising his dishonest behaviour of putting worldly ambitions ahead of her suffering.

Taking to her Instagram story, she continued by sharing details of other horrific events from her past, such as losing her innocence, having a tense relationship with her father, and being deceived by family members.

Cynthia Morgan disclosed that when she was still residing at her father’s home, she lost her virginity at the age of 14. She recounted how her brother and half-sister had conned her into participating in an experiment.

This incredibly terrible encounter left Cynthia mentally wounded and made her question her relationships with her family. She explained how her father came back to her life in 2016 to finish her off while wondering what she had done to her family.

She wrote,

“I was barely 14 when I lost my virginity in my fathers house because my half sister and brother decided to be using me for sexual experiment… this shit went on for months till I was able to tell my mum it sure didn’t stop there because they hated me for telling my mum and went on to start bullying me in school and telling their friends to not befriend me and always pick on me so they can beat me. I went through all this as a teen.

“And mind you all this would have been a thing of the past if this man didn’t come back into my life in 2016 to finish what him and his children started.

“Obviously the plan has always been to kill me. Because for real what have I done to you people?”

“Before you marry any girl, take your time very well” – Mohbad’s associate, Micee writes as he makes damning allegations against Wunmi

Micee writes

Micee, an associate of the deceased singer Mohbad, has taken to social media to mourn the singer and make some damning allegations against his wife, Wunmi.

Recall that Mohbad passed away under strange circumstances on Tuesday, September 12, and the cause of his death is still being investigated.

 Micee writes

Over a month after his passing, Micee went online on Sunday to accuse Mohbad’s wife of being fetish and allegedly using jazz to make him do her bidding and prevent him from relating with people.

He alleged that Mohbad once caught her with a fetish ring and threatened to expose my details about her, if she confronts him.

 Micee writes

Micee further shared the numerous ways he helped the singer both personally and in his career, but claimed that his wife was always causing issues between them.

In a post shared through an IG blogger, Temilola Sobola, he wrote,

“Before choosing a wife, take time very well”– Mohbad’s associate Micee, spills more about Wunmi.

“FROM SINGER MICEE: Before you marry any girl, please take your time very well. Mohbad was a happy man before they used jazz to hold him away from everyone. I was his supporter and helper, always driving him around before they separated us.

“After the NDLEA released him and he became sick, I fought for his life by taking him to different hospitals for treatment. I advised him not to leave the label, and he should just manage and complete the three months left.”

“When he wanted to commit suicide sometimes ago, I broke into the room and rescued him. I gave him a lot of show deals but I had to let him be because his wife was always causing fights between us. Mohbad once caught her with a fetish ring. I am ready to spill everything if she confronts me.”

“She had his life in her hands and directed it wherever she wanted. Ask her why she hacked his WhatsApp. Mohbad’s father really suffered to make him who he was. He is far better than his mother. I am in so much pain that death took my dear friend away. My mental health is messed up.”.

“We’ve had trouble feeding” – Woman shares reasons for sel.ling grandson for N50,000

A woman, Oluchukwu Nwosu, has been arrested for purportedly selling her three-month-old grandchild in Anambra State for N50,000.

According to a press statement released on Sunday, October 22, 2023, by Chidinma Ikeanyionwu, the media assistant to state Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo, the infant was saved when his mother, Ijeoma Nwosu, made a report.

Ijeoma claims that her mother sold her child forcibly shortly after he was born and has since refused to tell her where he is.

The statement read,

“Ify Obinabo, the commissioner for Women and Social Welfare in Anambra State, has rescued a three-month-old baby who had been sold by the grandmother.

The rescue occurred in response to a report by Ijeoma Nwosu, who claimed that Oluchukwu Nwosu, her mother, forcefully sold her baby soon after he was born and has since refused to tell her where he is.

Following receipt of the allegation, the Women and Social Welfare Commissioner immediately took action to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

After almost a month of consistent intelligence surveillance by the State Ministry of Women and Social Welfare Awka, the offenders were caught.

Speaking just moments after saving the three-month-old child, Hon. Obinabo bemoaned the fact that despite the state government’s efforts to put an end to all forms of illegal adoption, some people continue to practice the crime, undermining those efforts.

Hon. Obinabo thus issued a warning that anyone found participating in an unlawful adoption must face legal action.

This is the third time Oluchukwu Nwosu’s daughter Ijeoma has conceived outside of marriage, and according to her daughter, Oluchukwu Nwosu sold out the three-month-old baby while sobbing and pleading for forgiveness.

She said she sold the baby for 50,000 thousand naira, noting that her two older sons are already being cared for by the state community children’s home in Awka.

Mrs. Nwosu claimed that due to their low income and lack of childcare, they have had trouble feeding themselves from the time her daughter gave birth to the present.

Mrs. Nwosu described how she came across a buyer as being approached by one Tochukwu Asiegbu, who after some haggling paid her the agreed upon sum

Tochukwu Asiegbu claimed that because he gave Oluchukwu Nwosu everything that was provided, he only got a profit of 30,000 naira from the deal

Sadly, such wasn’t the case with the buyer, Evelyn Egwuatu, a native of Uruagu Nnewi, who reported that she paid one Ebelechukwu Uba from Ebonyi but a resident of Anambra the sum of 200,000 thousand naira to obtain the child for her

Ebelechukwu Uba claims that Tochukwu Asiegbu and Ijeoma Nwosu’s mother, Oluchukwu Nwosu, and not Ijeoma Nwosu herself, made the decision to deliver the child to Evelyn Egwuatu

They all agreed that the incident occurred about three months ago, but to everyone’s greatest surprise, the baby is sick and underweight because he was fed soya bean powder instead of the proper baby food because, according to the buyer, she didn’t have the money to buy the baby food he needed.

All of the perpetrators of this act have been found and given to the police for additional questioning and investigation as of the time of this report.”

Singer Cynthia Morgan demands a DNA test from her father over his incessant demands for money

Cynthia Morgan demands

Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan has in a rather absurd development demanded a DNA test from her father to prove that he is her biological father.

Taking to her Instagram page, she claimed that he constantly demands to be taken care of by her, even though she is the fifth of his nine children.

She described him as a fraud and said she thinks it’s fraudulent of him to demand for financial favors before offering to pray for her. She emphasized that she doesn’t owe him anything, not even a WAEC certificate.

Cynthia Morgan demands

Cynthia Morgan went on to accuse her father of spreading falsehoods about her to their relatives and revealed his intention to make disparaging statements about her on blogs.

She stated that she chose to speak up first to prevent him from twisting the narrative and added that she wants a DNA test to confirm their biological relationship.

She wrote on her Instastories,

“My supposed father’s favorite phrase is “you have to take care of your fatter o”, you have to take care of your father o”. So He can always pray for you. Bro, I don’t have and btw I don’t even owe you a WAEC certificate. And if my money is equal to your prayers then you’re a fraudulent father. I always knew the part of him being a fraud though. Reason I am finally asking for a DNA.

A father who doesn’t know his daughter’s pain is not a father. And btw I am the 5th of his 9 kids. And like I said I don’t owe him a WAEC certificate. That’s just to cut the story short. He has been going about telling all sorts of lies about me to his family members lately and they even said he has been trying to get on blogs so let me put it out here for him. I want a DNA”.

“Why I wore school uniform to welcome new students” – Viral Principal

Principal of St. Michael’s Catholic High School, Akure, Ondo State, Adeniyi Oluyide, who gained popularity for appearing as a student to greet recently admitted wards, has disclosed the purpose of his attire.

He explained in an interview that it has been a tradition of the school, but it just so happened that this year’s was the fortunate one to be recorded on video and posted online.

Oluyide stated that pupils were inspired to dress well and behave appropriately by wearing their school uniforms.

The principal said;

“It has been a tradition of the school and we have been following that tradition for the past three years. The one for this year is the one in that video trending on the Internet. Immediately after we conclude the admission process, we usually have an orientation, which is a one-week programme for newly admitted JSS1 pupils.

They come from different homes, and they are graduating to another level of education, so we organised a programme for them. We wanted to make them know the rules and regulations of the school, and how to behave, and for the grand finale, the principal identifies with the pupils to tell them that there was a time when their principal was once like them, and because their principal worked very hard, he became what he is today.

On that day, seeing me in the school uniform was an inspiration to them, that they must dress properly. During that programme, the pupils were full of joy. Each one of them wanted to touch me, and I didn’t chase them away because that was my joy. We later prayed for them. Since we started doing that, the pupils have been performing excellently in their academic work. In the school, we don’t condone any examination malpractice.”

Food vendor left shocked after dispatch rider took his “own share” of small chops he was asked to deliver to a client (VIDEO)

In a sidesplitting incident that has sent social media into a frenzy, a food vendor shared a video on Instagram that left netizens in stitches.

The video clearly showed the stark difference between how she sent a delivery of mouthwatering small chops to a client and what the client received upon the arrival of the dispatch rider.

To the food vendor’s astonishment, only a handful of small chops remained, as if a mischievous small-chop thief had struck during the process of delivery.

The funny video quickly went viral, with netizens sharing a laugh and buzzing about the seemingly recurring problems of dispatch riders.

While many found the incident amusing, others argued that such behavior must be curbed.

Netizens expressed their concern, highlighting the need to address this issue to protect the integrity of food deliveries.

Others humorously suggested dispatch riders should undergo small-chop temptation training to resist the irresistible smell and looks of these treats.

In the midst of the amusement and discussions, one thing remains clear: this incident has shed light on the peculiar challenges faced by food vendors and the pros and cons of the delivery process.

Lets dive into the reactions:

@henry_chidii reacts be honest, this thing is not funny at all. Even as a joke.

@becomingveniareacts 😢 can you imagine? Some people now will side him by saying hunger dey town, hunger dey town, So that means you should steal. Call the dispatch company out😂

@Ibiso_ Lawson_ x reacts He/she should be arrested

@Stackchyna reacts Maybe rat was in the delivery. Box

@gm_homes and _interior reacts Most of the food vendors are careless too. Edible needs to be well packaged and sealed. Isn’t that how someone sent me food or almost 20k unsealed? See, good vendors do better. Regards.

Nigerian woman found

A tragic incident involving a Nigerian woman in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, has gotten people talking online about the downside of relocating abroad alone.

The woman, identified as Uju Onyeyili, reportedly passed away in her apartment, but no one was aware of it until neighbors raised an alarm due to a foul smell emanating from her home.

Nigerian woman found

It was gathered that the deceased, originally from Abatete in Anambra, had an accident two weeks prior and left her car at the scene before returning home.

Regrettably, she passed away in her house, and her death went unnoticed for over a week as her body began to decompose.

Concerned neighbors alerted the police about the odor coming from her apartment. They also reported that they hadn’t seen her in a week and that her car, involved in the accident, needed to be towed.

The police launched an immediate investigation and found her decomposing body inside her home.

Unfortunately, none of her close relatives could be contacted to claim her remains. Her photo was then shared online, appealing to her family members to come and retrieve her body; otherwise, it would be disposed of by the state.

Onyeyili, a devoted member of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (Olumba Olumba Olumba), was eventually laid to rest by the sect in the US.

May her soul rest in peace!

Fuel scarcity grips Abuja as petrol prices Soar to N630/Litre

Fuel scarcity has hit Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, with petrol pump prices skyrocketing to a staggering N630 per litre.

Many filling stations have been forced to shut down due to the scarcity, leaving motorists and residents in a state of panic, according to a report by the Nigerian Tribune.

The scarcity crisis has been attributed to the challenges faced by marketers in importing petroleum products.

The lack of foreign exchange and difficulties in accessing supplies from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) have worsened the situation, leading to the current fuel shortage.

Investigations reveal that within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), most filling stations are either unable to dispense fuel or are selling it at exorbitant prices ranging from N625 to N630 per litre.

Chief Chinedu Ukadike, the spokesperson for the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), acknowledged the government’s decision to maintain the current price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) amidst the crises affecting the sector.

However, he cautioned that if the scarcity persists, petrol prices may escalate to as high as N900 to N1,000 per litre, which would undoubtedly have dire consequences for Nigerians.

As the fuel scarcity crisis continues to unfold, authorities are urged to take immediate action to alleviate the burden on the Nigerian people and ensure a steady and affordable supply of petroleum products.
