Hero had insinuated that the car gift was a shade to Bobrisky. The male barbie wasted no time to call out Hero who has also replied.

Veteran Nollywood Actor, Paul Obazele is on the news again and this time around he has made a damning revelation about the Nigerian Movie Industry..

The Former President of the Association of Movie Producers in Nigeria, in a recent chat with Saturday Beats said that it was unfortunate that gay and lesbian movie producers are the ones calling the shots in the movie scene.

Paul Obazele said;

“I would not lie, we have gay producers and lesbians in the Nigerian entertainment industry and they are the people in control. Why are we hiding it? When I was president of the Association of Movie Producers, I was against them. Why are we pretending that it does not happen?

The same way it happens in Nollywood is the same way it happens in the medical field and other fields. The truth be told, it happens across the board. If you mention the names of some producers, I would gladly tell you if they are gay or not; they cannot do anything to me.

If they bring a war to me, I would take it to their doorsteps. I do not give into gossips but I have got to a place in my life when some unsolicited pieces of information come to me. They must tell me. I am an elder in this industry and that is why I said if you mention names, I would tell you if the person is gay or not. It does not elude us; it happens within our rank and file. But like I always say, sex is not the ultimate step to attaining success, it is hard work.”

It’s no longer news that the new Air-Conditioned Lagos Blue Buses have began rolling in, the buses made their first stop at the newly commissioned Ikeja Bus Terminus.

A quite interesting feature about these buses is that they have the physically challenged in mind as there is provision for them too.

A close look at these buses shows that they are Marcopolo buses – Marcopolo buses have a joint collaboration with Nigeria’s bus plant ANAMCO in Anambra state, Nigeria.

Professor Awonusi Olusegun,who was accused by a female student of UNILAG, of sexually molesting her and some other female colleagues has finally reacted to the viral news.

The professor of English Studies in the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Akoka, and former Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ogun State, revealed that his phone was stolen.

Professor Awonusi, whose nude pictures allegedly taken by the victim while in his office , has denied the allegation, describing it as a cheap blackmail.

In an interview with New Telegraph, Awonusi, who was identified in the photographs accompanying the allegation, explained that the pictures revealed by the accuser had been taken about four years ago, and that the concerned student had graduated from the university about three years ago.

Awonusi said he lost his phone sometimes ago, and that the accuser, who he described as a blackmailer, might have secured the pictures from the lost phone.

He said:

“It is blackmail. The said pictures were taken about four years ago but sometimes ago, I received a message from a particular lady, saying she was in possession of my nude photos and that I should pay her N400,000.

“The lady said if I did not pay the money, she would go public with the photos. I think this is what she had promised.”

Meanwhile, the University, in a statement issued by the Communication Unit of the Corporate Affairs Directorate, acknowledged the news, but promised to conduct thorough investigation and get to the roots of the matter.

“The management has a zero tolerance for allegations pertaining to sexual impropriety, and has a well-established policy against such practices.

“We wish to reassure all our stakeholders, students, parents, members of staff and the general public that management will not treat this matter with levity. Management will tackle the allegation with every sense of responsibility and seriousness that the matter deserves.

The issue would be thoroughly investigated with transparency,” the statement said.

The university has, therefore, called for relevant information from members of the public, and particularly the concerned student, pledging confidentiality and protection of informants.

From trolls saying her gesture has an ulterior motive, to people attacking Bobrisky too over the report and all.

It was also alleged by an Instagram blogger Chinny, that according to a close source who spoke to her, the car was actually from Miracle who begged Toyin to present it to Nina to avoid issues with his family.

Toyin however reacted to the claim as she says ‘Ogun will kill Chinny and her source’.

Earlier today, news spread all over social media that entrepreneur and celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani gifted BBNaija finalist, Nina a car at her birthday last night.

As the news started buzzing online, people said the gift was to spite her friend turned enemy, Bobrisky, who once took to IG to express his anger that Nina whom he went all out to campaign for during the #BBNaija competition was now associating with Toyin.

Bobrisky has in a post shared on his IG page, said he is not in anyway affected by the gift. He wrote,

Alex has come to the defense of Tobi after a fan called him out on social media for failing to celebrate fellow ex-housemate, Nina on her birthday yesterday.

Tobi who coincidentally  did not attend Nina’s birthday bash was slammed by fan for being a hater and looking down on Nina due to his inaction on her special day yesterday.

The fact that Tobi didn’t wish her a happy birthday didn’t stop Nina from sending him birthday wishes on her page.

She shared a photo of him, asking God to bless and grant his heart desires.

Reacting to this, some fans of Nina were quick to call him out for looking down on Nina after he failed to celebrate her, telling him to grow up and quit acting like a child.

The Nigerian Movie Industry has been thrown into mourning yet again as it has been reported that Veteran Yoruba Actress, Motunrayo Adeoye has passed away in Ibadan, Oyo State.

According to reports, the talented actress died this morning June 1st after battling chronic ulcer for many years and she will be buried today at her residence located at Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan Oyo State today according to Islamic rite.

In her life time, Madam Adeoye was a well-known name in Nollywood. She was among the 10 most featured Veteran Yoruba actresses in the industry. She was a niece to a top class traditional ruler in Yoruba Land, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, The Alafin of Oyo, Oyo State.

She graduated from Osogbo Technical College, Osun State where she studied Electronics before she later went to Switzerland for a 7 months course to acquire more knowledge about the profession.

In the 70s, she joined BCOS Communication, Ibadan as a studio/audio engineer. The job she did for almost 40 years before she got her retirement in 2010. Almost immediately after her retirement, she went fully into acting. Her hard-hitting role in Kunle Afod’s hit movie, Igbekun made her a force to reckon with in the industry.

Teenage boy beaten to death by Uncle and Family over his inheritance

An Anambra based 17-year-old boy identified as Dominic Adiele has been gruesomely murdered after being severely beaten by his uncle and family over his inheritance.

Dominic who hails from Uzi-Ezike kindred Umuzu in Eziama-Ubulu was allegedly beaten up by his uncle, the wife and six children on Sunday, 27th May 2018 leading to his death at an undisclosed Hospital in Ihiala Anambra State on the 28th May 2018.

It was gathered that the uncle named Patrick, his wife and the eldest of their four children have been arrested by the Police.

Prior to this time, the family have fought over ancestral inheritances and it was revealed that Dominic’s father, Odinma Adiele, was allegedly killed in similar circumstance 15 years ago by the same Patrick.

The teenager’s death triggered an unpleasant reaction as his maternal relatives of Awo-idemili arrived Uziezike on the 29th May 2018 and in conjunction with the aggrieved locals – burned down the house of Patrick Adiele, and destroyed his economic trees.

South Africa Health Minister reportedly bans doggy style during sex

South Africa’s Minister of Health, Aaron Motsoaledi, has said ‘doggy’ style during sex is the major cause of cancer and stroke.

He said after three years of arduous research, he found out that the high pumping of blood during sex, when one is standing or kneeling overloads the veins in the legs which ultimately causes stroke.

He told The Insider, “On cancer – one of the main causes of cancer is stress, fatigue and tiredness.

Nigerian Dad refuses to take his Daughter to hospital after blood accumulated in her head; reason will shock you

An eight-year-old girl fell while playing and hit her head on the concrete at their home in Lagos Island.

This caused blood to accumulate in her head, but for days her father has refused to take her to the hospital for the most pathetic reason.

According to the father, he couldn’t join others who wanted to take his daughter Rebecca to the hospital days after the injury because it is a woman’s duty to take the child to the hospital, not a man’s.

Activist, Olorunfunmi Adebajo shared the news online with the child’s medical report after she was eventually taken to the hospital by concerned citizens.

Why women? Rebecca one of our students had a very nasty fall. She tripped and hit her head on concrete while playing with her older sibling. We got to know 12 days later after she had bled into her scalp and the head was soft like hot puffpuff. The blood that accumulated in the head would fill a big cup.

While we panicked and sought for solutions, the father stated emphatically that he wouldn’t go to the hospital with us since it’s a woman’s responsibility to take of a child. And that he can only release his phone so we can contact his wife. He wasnt being irresponsible. That is the mindset of a lot of the men in that community.

The wife in question had major scars and stitches on her face (reportedly given by her husband). But It wasn’t even time to address the domestic violence.

Serena Williams breaks down over struggle with breastfeeding for the sake of Tennis

While filming Wednesday’s final episode of HBO’s “Being Serena,” the top notch sportswoman broke down as breastfeeding her eight months daughter was taking a toll on the tennis champ.

Serena Williams struggled physically after returning to full-time tennis training despite exercising before her return, Williams weighed 205 pounds.

Her body was storing fat to produce milk for her baby.

Discussing getting into shape, Williams’s coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, told her,

“There is no miracle. You stop breastfeeding, you do the right thing every day.”

“Breastfeeding is an incredibly personal thing,” said Williams, an advocate for breastfeeding. “The connection that it gives me to Olympia — it’s been one of the most magical things I’ve ever experienced.”

While Williams loves the bond breastfeeding allowed her to share with Olympia, she said she also missed certain things:

“The truth is I miss my body, being able to do other kinds of amazing things. I miss playing tennis. Mostly, I miss winning.”

Williams wants her daughter to know her as a great champion, not just as a mother.

She said:

“Winning’s always been the way I define myself, and I want it to stay that way.

Long enough for you to be able to watch me, cheer me on, and be proud of me.”

Michael Rotondo, 30, from New York whose parents took him to court last week to evict him, has packed all of his belongings out of his family home.

The jobless man was dragged to court by his parents Mark and Christina Rotondo because he doesn’t pay any rent, and does not help with any chores around the house.

Michael, who has until noon on Friday to leave his parents’ four-bedroom home in Camillus, New York, a quiet commuter town just west of Syracuse, was spotted at around 6.45pm on Thursday moving his properties into a grey Ram truck.

He was assisted by his cousin, Anthony Mastropool who helped him in loading his belongings including toys which belonged to his eight-year-old son.

While packing, Rotondo’s father Mark was also spotted moving between the house, but the estranged pair never looked at each other or exchanged words

The 30-year-old told Syracuse.com that there will be no further contact or relationship with his parents after leaving their home.

He said, ‘That’s it. That’s the end of my relationship with them other than court proceedings. There’s nothing more to say.‘

Meanwhile, a day after Michael lost the eviction case he got a job out of the publicity his story generated.

He was offered a job by online cam site, CamSoda, but it’s unclear if he has received the offer yet.

Stella who is obviously pained by the havoc the actor allegedly caused for her friend started this story months before the news of Michael’s marriage.

“As you get married on Saturday to the friend you used, scammed wickedly for the green card, karma will visit you” SDK wrote, adding that the blood Michael ate from her friend will also judge him.

Michael has not responded to the new allegations as he prepares for his lavish wedding this weekend.
