#BBNaija: Anto defends Alex against fan who insulted her

Anto defends Alex

Big Brother housemate Anto has defended Alex on her Instagram page.

Anto had made a post and as usual a troll commented on the post, insulting Alex, but Anto was having none of it as she defended Alex.

Alex and Tobi who go by the moniker Tolex have been seen on several occasions and some people felt her supposed “friendship” with Tobi is a ploy to make Cee-c jealous.

Such people came for her on a post Anto shared on her Instagram page.

The fan wrote:

@alex_unusual come and see your fellow housemate doing something meanigful with her life. She and @officialomlolu are not doing loto up n down. Leave Tobi alone and stop doing mumu Tolex up and down. Get a life.

Anto quickly replied the troll in a stern but polite way, saying:

@iamsefiya please don’t come into my comments, talking negatively about my friend. Thanks

Nigerian man insults

A Nigerian man identified as Gran Ville on Facebook has taken to the platform to declare all women on earth ‘Foolish’ including his mother.

His post has since gone viral with many Nigerians hurling curses at him, some made jokes.

“We don’t care…no be we tell your mama make she foolish”, One commenter wrote

Another user wrote; “I don’t have a problem if you have a foolish mum… But stop involving other valuable mums and women out there”

One user cursed him out and wished death on him;

“i dnt blame him for this post, i blame you people for not ignoring it, he is a fame seeking nematode, death shall catch up with him soon….you people don’t know that when u see post’s like this, you are meant to ignore it, the same way his destiny ignored him….But as of this moment, Gran Ville:

I hope, with these few points of mine, you all hav been convinced and not confused that Gran Ville shall not live to see 5:00pm today.”

guys, the moment your man is in your house the man is in your possession at that moment.

Honestly the guy is your everything is your love is your baby is your everything.

But the moment he’s out of your premises, The guy doesn’t belong to you anymore, the guy belongs to the public.

So get that fact into your gawd damn fucking brain and stop fighting for a guy in public. It’s a shameful act.

Tiwa Savage unfollows Davido on Instagram after he teased Wizkid over their relationship

Tiwa Savage unfollows

Tiwa Savage unfollows Davido after he sarcastically trolled his colleague, Wizkid on social media yesterday.

Davido seemed to have speculated that he knows about Tiwa Savage and Wizkid’s relationship when he teased Wizkid over the matter.

Wizkid had tweeted that he needed a “sister” in his life and a playful Davido reacted to the tweet, with the words: “Tiwa our sister”

When Tiwa Savage saw the tweet, she reacted as she simply put up a “walking away” emoji and insinuated that she is minding her business.

But in a new development, she’s unfollowed the singer on the gram – she’s following some of his HKN crew like B-Red, Mayorkun but currently not Davido.

Could she have possibly been provoked by the singer’s actions? What do you think?

Cardi B deletes

The social media war between female rappers, Cardi B and Azealia Bank has left the former with no option than to delete her Instagram account after things got messier few hours ago.

It all started after Azealia appeared on The Breakfast Club on Friday, where she discussed some topics like Donald Trump, Kanye West, her upcoming music, as well as her previous criticism of Cardi B.

When confronted about calling the Cardi B “an illiterate rat” back in February, she described Cardi as a “caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away from.

After the interview aired, the pair dragged each other on Twitter.

Last night, the female rappers continued their feud and went hard on each other, before Cardi who is seven months pregnant with her first child deleted her Instagram account as she couldn’t handle the drama anymore

My ig analytics reveals 65% of my followers are btw the Ages of 18 – 25 years. This will be the first time anyone, including members of my family will be reading this story. I feel its important I do this because I do not knw whose life would be positively affected.

1. The first time I ever owned a laptop, I was 18 years old. I pressured my mom to buy me one because it would help me study and do more research work… lies!!

2. Back then, I lived in a block of apartments and most of my neighbors then were G boys! Yes I said it! I saw nothing wrong in what they were doing back then. They were always so nice. they will drop my friends and I in class, buy us food and even take us on driving lessons.

3. Some of them had up to 4 gfs and they all knew each other and were acting like wives. Some days, they would call the babes to cry over the phone with the voice of a 6 year old, saying they needed money to escape from Libya! Millions were sent and Boys were balling!

4. I was in 200 level then and I was a sucker for the good life (still is) but I wasn’t interested in being a 5th gf! I wanted the millions, the cars and I even wanted to open a business lol (Lord have mercy on my soul!)..

5. Sharp sharp, Momsy paid 80k and got me a laptop! She couldn’t be seen to be a hindrance to the 1st class her brilliant daughter would make.

6. So I took my lappy to the guy who was supposed to teach me. Baba kon dey ask for banku. That was it for me! I was so pissed and irritated at the guy and apparently he was the only one who had the “special software” at that time.

7. Days went by, weeks passed, months passed. Regina how market? Hafa that level? And I would respond “guy I don free am, shey you no wan do am unless I straff you”

8. That phase passed and years later i started hearing stories of how oyibo people were brainwashed and scammed of their life savings. Some even committed suicide! This got to me and I was highly disappointed in myself for ever thinking that way!

9. I continued studying and making good grades. Each time I looked at how hard my mom fought for my sisters and I to make something genuine of our lives it propelled me to study even harder.

10. I graduated with a 2.1 in uni, went to law school and made a 2.1 also. I served in Ibadan. I worked in a law chambers where I was paid 10k per month and was owed over 4months salary till I left…lol

11. When I moved to Lagos 4 years ago,I knew d competition wud b steep. But that didn’t deter me from pushing. I applied to 345 lawfirms/chambers on d island. In a day, I cud hv 3-4 interviews scheduled. Then I was using taxi but when money finish,I was taught d bus way

13. Baba said, “if I ask you to find the Lagos Child’s Rights law, can you find it?”. I was smiling in my mind because I knew how to use the index in libraries. So I said “yes”. He asked me to look for it. Omo, it was at the bottom of shelf and I had to bend over

12. I remember attending an interview at a firm on the island and the principal called me to his office where he had a huge shelf for law reports & compendium of laws.

14. By the time I got up, I realized Barrister was using me to wank. I was so pissed I even threatened to report him to NBA. I left that place feeling used and dirty! The memory still irks me!

15. Fast forward, after several months of jumping from one interview to the next, I did an interview at my firm and I got the job.

16. Today I am 26 years old & I have worked on mergers and cross border transactions involving blue chip multinationals. Now I attend court, representing prestigious companies, companies everyone wants to work at. I know this is the very beginning for me and greatness awaits me.

17. Trust me, there are days I do not want to be a lawyer or even go to work. But I can assure you that I am better off earning a decent living than engaging in fraud or runs (prostitution)!

18. lesson: Do something you will be proud of. Trust the process, Life always comes through, it don’t matter how long you wait! Quick money is not always the best money! (Shey una remember MMM

19. We live in a society where corruption is subconsciously embedded in our day to day lives and it takes a while before we see it for what it is! WRONG!

20.Do something genuine! Find a solution to a problem in this country & money will come. Imagine if U provided a service that at least 1million Nigerians used daily and they had to pay you N10 each time they used that service.U will be making at least N10M daily

21. I am looking for problem to solve o, cause there’s so much legit money to be made and mans need to cash out!

22. Do not be lured into a non-sustainable way of life! Be genuine so you can enjoy your money in peace! Trust me, money will come! Remain law abiding!

Nigerian lady narrates her humiliating ordeal as a sex slave in Arab Country, Oman

Nigerian lady narrates

A Nigerian lady with the name, Damilola Falodun recently arrived from Arab country, Oman and her experience which she narrated to a reporter was quite a traumatizing one.

According to Damilola, in Oman, most men regard black women as sex objects and they use them to satisfy their thirst for pleasure.

The lady narrated her ordeal as a sex slave in the country.

Her story was covered by Vanguard Newspaper and it is more like reading through the pains Nigerian citizens passing through in the search for greener pastures outside of the shores of the country.

Read Below:

The quest for greener pastures abroad by some Nigerian youths is on the increase despite calls by concerned citizens to desist from such practices.

The aftermath of such trips, orchestrated by touts and dubious travel agents with consequential effects, is a sordid story.

Many who embarked on such trips either to the point of destination or turned back, return to tell tales of bruised emotions or disorientation.

The plight of these young African girls who are lured into the belief that life is better outside the country has become an unending story.

Such obnoxious arrangements – call it economic migration, human trafficking or slavery in disguise- have attracted huge derision from the general public, even with the highly placed monarch, Oba of Benin, raining curses on the perpetrators.

Many people assume that the heinous trade started with foreign businessmen, but the truth is that Nigerians are either partners in crime or originally conceptualized the idea.

In a true life story, Damilola Falodun, a 22-year old native of Ekiti State is one of such victims who escaped and returned from Oman, Middle East by sheer grace.

Having lost both parents in one year, a period in time when life should have been bubbling as a promising junior level (OND) student at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta in 2014, things took a nose dive for her as she could not continue her education.

She was in a sudden labyrinth, having no one to actually depend on as her siblings were in the same survival dilemma.

Vanguard’s Weekend Woman caught up with her during the recently held Queen Moremi Ajasoro cultural beauty pageant in Lagos. Her story is one case too many among others who either have died or do not know how to get back to Nigeria.

Her story,

In the beginning I am a native of Ekiti State and live at Oluwaga area of Ipaja, Lagos State. Currently, my parents are late. Before then, my father was a businessman residing in Abia State.

For quite a period of time, about seven years, I never got to see him until his death in 2014. He was separated from my mother when I was much younger, due to irreconcilable domestic issues caused by his family.

Initially, he came home sparingly and after my step sister got married, he stopped coming home but ironically, he would call me especially on my birthdays to wish me well.

I was 19 years old then and in school, preparing for my Ordinary National Diploma first semester exam (OND) when I received a call from home announcing that my dad was dead.

I became devastated and had to miss the exam as a result of that. My father did not survive an asthma ailment coupled with the fact that he lived alone away from home.

As I was trying to get over his death, another death occurred and it was my mother, just four months after my father’s death.

This occurred during the start of my second semester exams. As a result, I could not sit for it and that was how I dropped out of school without any result.

My mother became hypertensive and did not survive it. She was a petty business woman who had supported us with her trading even when my father was not there for us.

I felt the pains of his absence but later got used to it. My mother was equally a caring person.

As a petty trader, I used to hawk goods to help her out in her trading. One virtue my mother imbibed in me is to be contented with the little we have in the house.

And that’s what bonded us together and made us strong to overcome the ordeal of her single parenting.

In her words, “Manage whatever I bring to this house and do not look at what other people are eating or doing. You never can tell how they got it.”

She made sure we were all together under one roof till her death.

When I stopped schooling, I didn’t get anyone to help or fund my education. Life was tough and I had to look for menial jobs to sustain myself.

I started to work as a customer care service person at a Multichoice outlet in Ilupeju, Lagos with my Industrial attachment (IT) letter from my school since I couldn’t finish my studies.

And the journey started from here

My initial idea was to gather some money and start a business and later continue with my education, but through their assumed conviction, my plan changed.

According to them, it is easy to work and continue education abroad than here in Nigeria and I consented.

They also told me that working abroad is hourly, that it would enable me to create time for studies.

My initial country of interest was Canada but after unsuccessful attempt to secure Canadian visa, I opted for Oman in the Middle East and this happened in 2015.

The same twin sisters introduced me to a traveling agent, who was a pastor of a church.

The pastor who was very frequent at the resort for business was very handy to handle the transaction without us knowing his office.

We trusted and believed him because, as a man of God, everything he does would be genuine.

After about two months without seeing the visa, we decided to go to the agency by ourselves only to discover that the pastor has duped us and disappeared with our money.

In our bewilderment and still trying to overcome the shock, the owner of the office he used told us that since we were still interested in traveling, another option was Oman in the Middle East.

According to him, the country was in need of workers and visa processing was very fast. One of us became courageous and decided to go.

She eventually left for Oman and after some months, she encouraged us to come through a coded SMS message from Oman.

I was inspired, and changed my mind of going to Canada since the essence was to have a new life.

Within one week, after paying the agency from the money I saved from working at the resort, the visa was handed over to me en-route to Oman.

Life in the Middle East

On arrival at the Oman airport, a driver was sent to pick me alongside other African girls.

While on the way to their office, our passports and other traveling documents were taken from us. W

e stayed in the office for about two days before we were assigned to homes to work.

I was not privy to the nature of the job until we were told that the only job available in Oman for the African girls was house-help job called ‘Shangala’ in Oman language and prostitution.

I also noticed that the reason the girl that left before us could not divulge any information to us was because every document including phone was taken from her.

The only means of communication was a coded text messages under the scrutiny of the masters.

Under the contract agreement signed here in Nigeria by the agents, unknown to us, communication or the use of phone was not allowed; hence it would be taken away from us.

It was a two year arrangement contracted by Nigerians in collaboration with their Omanis counterparts there.

The contracts were signed by the two parties secretly. The Omani agents would pay about N700, 000 to agents in Nigeria which would be used to facilitate our tickets, visas and traveling documents.

But the dubious Nigerian agents would also demand about N600, 000 from us for the same purpose already paid for by the Omani agents.

They told us that our own money was what they needed to facilitate the traveling documentation which was a lie. The moment you are gone, they signed you off.

This contract was an only girls’ affair, boys are not allowed. Their targets were naïve young girls who showed some elements of desperation to travel abroad.

They would deceive the girls that the salary was about $5,000 a month and on hearing such, any girl in need would jump at it. That was how they lured young girls into the contract.

In Oman, we were told by the Omani lords in a simple language, “You are our property. We have bought you for two years and you don’t own yourself until you finish the contract.”

This was why our passports were taken away from us; they called it their own property until we were done with the contract.

While there, you must work for at least one year before your salary would be handed over to you.

Now, the irony is that, the so called masters would apply some tricks that would make you not to last for three months in a place.

The moment you became frustrated and wanted to change from your home to another home, the entire contract would be canceled, and you would start all over again.

Under these conditions, many girls were inhumanly treated. Some died in the process while some became perpetual slaves to the masters.

The job description was horrible. As a maid, you have no rest for a whole year.

We must serve an extended home of about six to seven families. In Oman, they keep nuclear homes and each housemaid served the entire homes without rest or any holiday.

Other inhuman treatments include sexual harassment, violent physical attack by wicked masters, while some would push you out to make sure you did not complete your contract.

Moreover, every salary you work for before the completion of the contract would be paid in advance to the agents in Oman.

You can only have access to your salary when you complete a contract with a house.

Information about work condition was kept secret and you dare not use their phone in their absence. The experience was horrible.

Work experience in my first contract. My first work experience was in a home at Nizwa city, Oman – a family of five children with a little child to babysit.

The wife worked and catered for the family while the man stayed at home doing nothing. I became vulnerable to the idle man in the house.

I was harassed sexually every moment the wife went to work and he would not allow me to concentrate on my job and at the same time threatened me with all sorts of things.

The ordeal continued everyday on a daily basis, although he did not succeed but I was troubled emotionally and he threatened to extend my contract if I did not consent to his request.

As we were not allowed to have phone of our own, I tried to device means of getting a phone to use knowing fully well that the only way I could get out of this situation was to communicate with anybody outside the city or country who could hear me out.

With the little money I saved secretly, I managed to acquire a small phone that I always hid inside my undies for fear of losing it to them.

While his harassment continued, I thought of using the phone to make just one minute video clip of his sexual moves.

That was the only way anybody could believe me because as a foreigner and as a housemaid in a country where English language is not spoken, it may result to a case of frame up and you might be killed.

So many girls have been killed without trace because there’s nothing like communication or a community gathering of foreign workers in that land.

On one fateful day when the wife left for work, he noticed that I was alone in the kitchen and began to advance towards me without his clothes on.

Instinctively, I placed the phone on video recording without his knowledge.

As he approached to get hold of me by force, I pretended to be helpless, pleading with him to spare me.

He became more daring when he observed that I am not putting up any resistance to shove him off.

While he grabbed my hand, still stark Unclad, the video recorded everything and within ten seconds of struggle with him I cleverly pushed him down and ran out of the house with the phone unknown to him.

At that moment, he became angry and went upstairs to plan how to get rid of me.

I stayed at the gate until the wife came back from work. When she saw me on arrival, I didn’t let her ask me a question before I told her to take me back to the job agency’s office.

My intention was not to disclose anything to them because if they knew, they would manage the situation to suit themselves and eventually get rid of me.

I kept mute until I got to the office, narrated the whole ordeal and showed them the video recording of what transpired in the kitchen.

They were all surprised and asked me how I managed to do that. I pretended to be naïve and answered that I didn’t know where the courage came from.

I stayed with the agency for close to two weeks before I could get another suitable family to work with.

Then, how did you manage to find your way back home under such tight situation?

When the situation became unbearable, I started thinking fast on how to wriggle myself out. One day I decided to tell the new family I worked with that my parents died.

Although, since I knew they were dead and long gone, I did not have any sense of guilt using that to pave way for me to come back home.

Funny enough, they became sympathetic but at some point, played down on it and asked me to stay and adopt them as foster parents.

When I refused, they became hesitant to let me go claiming my contract with them had not ended.

I then told them that it was a strong tradition in my place that female children must bury their dead parents and if I didn’t see my parents’ corpse, I would die.

It was really tough as they could not agree. They communicated with the agency to hold me in the office for some time just to know if I would change my mind.

When they noticed how adamant I was, they eventually accepted and that was how I found my way back home.

I was very desperate to return to Nigeria because stories of missing black girls or dead ones found on the streets became a daily occurrence.

These girls according to reports were beaten to death, maybe while trying to escape inhuman treatment or not consenting to sexual harassment.

My coming home was a privilege because it seemed as if God gave me another chance to live.

Who funded your ticket back home?

I communicated with a family relation living in the United States who had wanted to take me out before when my mother was still alive.

When she got to know about how I was suffering in Oman, she quickly responded and sent a ticket to me.

When I told the agency that I had a ticket to travel home, they were initially hesitant but they eventually brought out my passport and cancelled Oman Visa in it.

They then took me to the airport and handed me the passport at the point of exit.

They did that so that I would not change my mind and return to Oman to live as a free person.

Of all the girls staying in Oman, no one had her passport with her. The agency keeps each person’s traveling documents until they are done with you.

It’s such a humiliating experience. I came back to Nigeria in May 2017 after spending about two horrible years in Oman.

While I was there, I noticed that all Arab countries treat young black girls the same way.

They will not let you have any decent job even when you are qualified for it. They see us as objects for sex and maltreatment.

How were you received when you returned?

In the first place, I was very grateful to God for sparing my life over there.

Since my family was poor, they did not know what I passed through.

I purposely did not want them to know because everyone was battling for survival too.

I came back and quietly went to a senior sister’s place for a good rest I never had for the two years I stayed in Oman

Did your siblings not expect gifts from you?

Maybe they did but before then, I had sent some money I gathered through the meager salary to them.

I knew I would come back like this, so I decided to send ahead the little I had so that their expectation would not run high. It was later that I told my sister all that happened.

What did you do to integrate yourself back into the society?

I stayed with my sister while planning to get myself back into the society.

In the process, I heard about the Queen Moremi Ajasoro beauty pageant.

I had known the Kabieyesi, Ooni of Ife from a distance because he owns the Inagbe Resort where I worked before I left for Oman.

I applied for the competition and was selected after the audition. All these to me were by the divine mercy of God who has been faithful to me.

I purposely applied for this contest with the hope that if I win, I would use the office to expose the challenges young girls and women were passing through in foreign lands in search of elusive greener pastures.

I was ready to voice out the inhuman treatment of black girls in Arab countries.

They are killed for being loyal. Some are helpless and do not know how to return home from a country where nobody can hear their voice.

Syndicates in Nigeria are collaborating with their Arab counterparts to sell their own sisters without shame.

We are called slaves by these masters who cunningly pay for the tickets in advance to entice unsuspecting ones.

The free offer to travel abroad and make big money to pay back is not genuine.

Our young girls become vulnerable to many horrible ordeals abroad because of their desperation to travel abroad.

I was a victim due to the circumstance I found myself in as an orphan.

I couldn’t finish my education in the country because no help was coming from anywhere and due to the kind of upbringing my mum subjected us to, I found it difficult to openly seek for help.

That was why I opted to try my luck abroad and in desperation, I went to a wrong country.

So, how were you discovered?

After passing through the beauty contest audition, we were taken to a camp for preparation for the final pageant.

In-between the many programmes streamlined for the final stage, personal interviews were one of them.

While I passionately told my story to the coordinator of the pageant, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, she developed interest in me immediately.

She went further to alert the Ooni, kabieyesi about my story and later championed the cause for my proper integration into the society.

Although, I couldn’t make it to the finals of the competition but grace of God found me when kabieyesi became interested in my case and offered me a scholarship to help me get back to school.

In clear terms and as rightly enumerated by Princess Ronke Ademiluyi during the beauty pageant, part of the overarching mission of the Queen Moremi Ajasoro was to salvage unending migration of innocent young Nigerian girls into an unknown world as victims of human trafficking and forced prostitution.

She took over my rehabilitation. As part of the overall core values of the House of Oduduwa Foundation, I am currently enrolled in the Nigerian Open University, Abeokuta Campus.

I am at the 100 level studying Entrepreneurial studies under the Ooni of Ife’s scholarship scheme.

After I leave school, there will be more opportunities for me like the fashion training, entrepreneurial and empowerment programmes and other things.

Did you at any time look for the pastor who duped you in the first place?

There was no need for that because even before we left, he had disappeared.

He worked using a fake name likewise many of them and did not have a permanent place.

As for the second agent that facilitated the trip, it was a woman without a face as well.

We learnt she worked with syndicates in various African countries, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia and some West African countries.

For all the girls that we met in Oman, they tell similar stories of how the same woman connects them to Oman. As I speak, she has remained faceless.

Olamide supports tweet

Following the viral reports that the Efcc apprehended 12 Yahoo boys at Club 57 on Friday morning, 11th of May 2018, there’ve been mixed reactions over the development.

While some are enraged with ‘snitches’ who could possibly have a hand or two in the above-mentioned, others are not unnerved as they feel it’s high time internet fraudsters be brought to justice.

Nigerian rapper Olamide took to his Twitter page to also react to the news – the rapper who retweeted and seconded OAP Osi_Suave’s tweet, wrote,

Somebody say Amen ! RT @Osi_Suave: You cant be condemning yahoo boys on twitter and be moving with them offline.

Suspect who intruded Rihanna’s home actually wanted to have sex with her

Rihanna says

A 26 year old man who was arrested for allegedly breaking into pop star, Rihanna’s Los Angeles home reportedly invaded the property in a bid to have sex with the pop star. But unfortunately for him, she was in another state.

Police were called to the pop star’s house on Thursday morning 10th of May, 2018 after her assistant discovered the alarm system had been disabled.

According to a report by TMZ.com, cops found a male intruder had made himself at home in the dwelling, charging his cell phone and unpacking his bag, having apparently gained entry on Wednesday.

The suspect, identified as Eduardo Leon, was ordered to step outside, but he reportedly failed to directly obey officers’ instructions, and was shocked with a taser gun before he was hauled into custody.

He was also reported to have made himself comfortable in her home as he stayed all through the night and even took time to charge his mobile device.

When questioned by authorities, he is said to have claimed he was there to seduce Rihanna and sleep with her.

He was booked for residential burglary, trespassing, and stalking, as police reportedly linked Leon to another incident on 4 May (18), when he allegedly broke into another home he thought belonged to the singer.

Leon is currently being held on $150,000 bail.

Rihanna has been in New York all week, attending the Met Gala on Monday (07May18), and launching her new lingerie collection, Savage X Fenty, on Thursday.

It’s not the first time the sexy star’s homes have been targeted by intruders.

Last year (17), Salmir Feratovic was booked for criminal trespassing after being found at the Big Apple building where Rihanna has a penthouse.

She also had to obtain a restraining order against Robert Melanson in June, 2013, after he was arrested for allegedly trespassing on the roof of her Pacific Palisades pad in California, the same property where another man was busted four months earlier on suspicion of burglary.

More photos of John Dumelo’s bride as they traditionally get married

John Dumelo bride

Moments ago, we brought you first photos from the traditional wedding of John Dumelo to Gifty Mawunya.

Here are more photos from the traditional wedding.

Everyone wants to know which lady managed to finally ‘tame the beast’ that is John Dumelo and contrary to a lot of reportage she’s not some ordinary lady or one of the ‘common floor members’.

Mawunya is the sister of Selassie Ibrahim, the well known NDC supporting actress who ran Smarttys Management, the company at the centre of the bus branding scandal during the John Dramani Mahama presidency.

She’s also besties with none other than Nadia Buari, so clearly she runs around in those kind of ‘high society’ circles.

Rumour has it that Nadia was the matchmaker for these two lovebirds. We’ve gathered some more photos of the soon to be Mrs Dumelo.

“I am tempted to cheat on my wife everyday” – Actor, Emeka Okoro

Actor Emeka Okoro

Born again Nollywood actor, Emeka Okoro, who’s one of the few celebrities who left acting for the pulpit, has in a new interview with Showtime celebrity, talked about his conversion, acting career, marriage among others.

According to the actor, Christ is happening in the Nigerian entertainment industry and you no one can take that away – he further disclosed that one can’t even resist when God is interested in one’s case.

Read excerpts from his interview below;

You’ve been away from the industry for a while, what have you been up to?

I have a media outfit that I’ve been running and at the same time I’ve been acting. These days, the movies we make doesn’t really move except they are shown in the cinemas, but I’ve been acting.

You recently became born again like some of your colleagues. What do you think is responsible for Nollywood heavyweights abandoning their acting career to become pastors?

I think Christ is happening in the industry! And you can’t take it away, it’s like a crusade and God is doing it Himself. You can’t even resist it when God is interested in your case; if you don’t want to answer it, frustration comes your way until you answer the divine call.

How did you meet your wife?

We met on set! We became friends at first and along the line we noticed there was chemistry between us and we were connecting. So we became close and I proposed to her.

How have you been able to prevent your marriage from crashing like that of many entertainers?

When you are on the solid rock, when you are in Christ, you don’t have anything to fear anymore. Christ is the base we are standing on and we don’t go outside that principle.

Have you been tempted to go out with another woman since you got married?

That is almost a daily thing and that is why I titled my new movie “Flee”, so you don’t stay there to fight the battle. You have to take off!

Could Kemi Olunloyo have gotten struck by thunder for saying Olamide does money rituals? (Photos)

Controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo insulted Olamide years ago. She accused him of involving ritual practices in his music career and said thunder should strike her if it was a lie.

Few years later, the blogger announced thunder nearly killed her on the table she was washing her clothes.

She wrote:

“@HNNAfrica
1. This morning at 8:06am I was struck by lightning behind my house in an early morning storm. It was a bolt the whole city saw. I dived to the ground fast before it hit the ground. It hit the table I was washing on. My heart stopped for 20 secs and was revived. #hnnenvironment

2. My doctor prescribed anxiolytic meds to calm my nerves & palpitations. I slept 4 hours. I feel like I DIED and returned. My dad says I have 9 lives and today he’s right. I’m still shaken. PLS stay indoors in any storm regardless of obvious lightning or not. Thx to everyone”.

However, an old tweet revealed that Kemi Olunloyo probably got struck by Thunder due to a claim she made about Olamide in which she stated that he does money rituals.

Could this be as a result of what she said few years ago?

Hmmm…we wonder!

Azealia Banks and Cardi B drag each other on Twitter (Screenshots)

Azealia Banks & CardiB dragged each other on Twitter after the Harlem artist’s controversial interview on The Breakfast Club.

Azealia had appeared on The Breakfast Club on Friday, where she discussed topics ranging from Donald Trump to Kanye West, her upcoming music, as well as her previous criticism of Cardi B.

When confronted about calling the Cardi B “an illiterate rat” back in February, she said:

“When I look at black women’s culture as a whole thing and then you think about the media and the power the media has … the media has the power to make anyone at the forefront,” she says.

“I think that it’s very concerning to me that this conversation surrounding back women’s culture changed.”

“I feel like maybe two years ago the conversation about black culture was really reaching an all-time high. We were really discussing the power among ourselves. Then everything just changed. Then, it was like Cardi B.”

Banks went on to describe Cardi as a “caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away with.”

“If my spelling and grammar was that bad I’d be cancelled,” she says. “If Nicki Minaj spelled like that, they’d be ragging on her all day. When it comes to this female rap thing that we have, I don’t understand how we go from Beyoncé and Lemonade and Solange and all these great conversations to like … this. I know we’re not monolithic but come on.

“It’s not that [she’s a stripper]. I feel like you guys use everything to make this bigger than what it is. I just don’t understand the extreme lack of couth.

“I’ve never seen that. I’ve never seen that at the forefront of female rap. I didn’t know that the bar would be lowered so much. It was kind of like a culture shock.

“When you’re talking about this female rap thing — bitches that really push their pen, girls that live, breathe and sweat this art thing — I just feel like it’s unfair to the real institution of female rap.”

Shortly after the interview aired, Cardi took to Twitter to hit back at her critics for constantly dragging her out

Banks whose Twitter account was suspended in 2016 following a series of racially charged tweets attacking singer and former One Direction star Zayn Malik, responded by tweeting from another account @cheapyxo which also has been suspended this morning.

Here are her tweets below:

The ongoing drama between Tonto Dikeh and her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill over rent issues in Ghana seem not to be ending.

The aactress has hit back at her ex-husband via a social media post in which she labelled him a fraudster who should go settle his debts.

It all started when an Instagram handle accused Churchill of theft and failure to pay rent for an apartment in Ghana.

Tonto Dikeh jumped in and dropped a comment of advise to the handlers of the page.

The post from the actress didn’t sit well with Olakunle Churchill who then slammed her with claims that she has been depriving him of their son, King.

AS FOR YOU MAMA KING, THOUGHT WE HAVE MOVED ON AND YOU ARE NOT MY PA NEITHER MY SECRETARY HENCEFORTH DESIST FROM ANYTHING THAT CONCERNS ME.LASTLY YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW WITH ALL YOU HAVE TRIED,THAT NO ONE CAN PULL A MAN DOWN ESPECIALLY ONE WITH THE GRACE OF GOD.
My interest is my son, whom you have deprived me of seeing 14 months before the court case.I was able to see my son after the court granted me of sharing custody which was before his birthday. You and your lawyer have refused to oblige to court orders 4 times including his last holiday. Please Channel this same energy on responding to court order.

Reacting to the post, Tonto Dikeh fired back at Churchill telling him to stay on his lane.

“Go and pay your bills and leave me out of your nonsense.Your son isn’t on Instagram, so telling sad untrue stories is unnecessary.

“Call your son, have a bond with my son if you want to rather than coming out to play victim and adding him to such useless gist.

“Woww such a father you are involving your sons name in a messy debt scandal you created…btw you lied the house was yours and you bought it off a widow whose husband was a banker.

“Kings nanny/my PA’s phone keeps records you know? YOU ARE TOTALLY FORGOTTEN…..your debt had to resurrect your existence, stay on your blooody lane.

“Quit telling people you can’t pay them because @efcc blocked your account.

“As a result of my reporting you to them…..The biggest mistake you will keep making is mentioning my name….Kunle #sinkedship #sailon #Papa Fraudster

Ladies who are interested in me should try their luck — Praiz

Praiz wants

Although pop singer, Praiz is known to sing some of the finest love songs at the moment, he is not in love.

The singer revealed that his last relationship left him heartbroken and that was what motivated him to release the record, ‘Folashade,’ which earned him a Headies award.

“Folashade was inspired by my last relationship; I like to write songs based on true life experiences so that a lot of people would be able to relate with the songs. On the day I recorded the song, I was very heartbroken so when I got into the studio, I started making the beat. I produced the song myself. I poured out words that I felt came to me based on the mood I was at the time and when I was done with the song, everyone said it was a nice idea. When it was released, everyone loved it because it was different and I am happy the song got its due acknowledgment. But the girl’s name was not Folashade,” he said.

The singer noted that recently he has been feeling lonely, encouraging any lady who is interested in him to ‘shoot their shot’ as he would love to have a girlfriend soon,

“At the moment, I am single, so ladies who are interested in me should try their luck, they should ‘shoot their shots’ because to be honest, there are times when I get lonely, there are times I just want to know I have a girlfriend.

“So whoever is interested should apply within,” the singer said.

The Rich and Famous singer told Saturday Beats that his parents have begun to mount pressure on him about marriage but he always tries his best to avoid such conversations.

“I actually avoid talking about marriage with my parents. Anytime I go home, they try to bring it up but I find a way to change the conversation.

“The last time it happened, I was talking about a particular subject with my father that had nothing to do with relationship or even marriage and all of a sudden, my father said, ‘Praiz you know that the bible says…’

“I had to cut him short and informed him that I was jet-lagged because I knew he was going to say something like the bible says it is not good for a man to be lonely.”

“I know my father very well, so I just told him that I was very tired. It is not that I would not want to get married, I believe in love and I would want to get married someday but the time has to be right.

“Marriage is not something you should rush into, inasmuch as I know it is good to get married while you are young, a lot of youth rush into marriage and in six months’ time, it packs up.

“A lot of people believe that courtship is a waste of time but I believe in getting to know the person I am dating or whoever I am considering spending the rest of my life with the same way that the person has to know who I am.

“I need to know her likes and dislikes and it works both ways,” Praiz said.

“How i felt when my mom remarried” — Simi shares

Nigerian singer Simi shares

Nigerian Singer Simi has revealed how she felt when her mother remarried (her father passed away in 2014).

In a recent chat with Saturday beats, the singer who was her mother’s chief bride’s maid spoke about how she truly felt about her mother’s new marital status.

Simi said ;

“I am very happy for my mother and her marriage, I am happy she has found love and I wish them a lifetime of happiness,” she said.

Slowly and gradually, her mother is becoming a sensation online as most of her Instagram posts go viral mostly because she makes them hilarious. The singer told Saturday Beats that she was the one that created an Instagram account for her mother a long while ago.

“I was the one that created an Instagram account for my mother but I did it to canvass for votes for a particular project at the time. She never used it after that and she never really had the password, so I do not know how she got a hold of the account.

My mother is a very funny person and the life of every party. I have always known this about her but everyone around me is just noticing that about her. Most times, I don’t see her posts on time so my friends would call my attention to something she must have posted.

I feel it is cool that everyone is seeing that side of her. My mum has always been active on Facebook, so I am not surprised that she is now active on Instagram. She is a very funny person,”

“She’s in trouble” – Sir Victor Uwaifo threatens to sue singer, Simi for ‘Joromi’ song theft

Sir Victor Uwaifo threatens

Nigerian music legend, Sir Victor Uwaifo, has said singer Simi, is in trouble for “stealing” his intellectual property, ‘Joromi’.

Uwaifo who released the hit song ‘Joromi’ in 1969 says the song, which brought him fame and fortune, has now become a victim of intellectual property theft as Simi failed to give credit to him when she released her own version in 2017.

Uwaifo in a recent interview with SaharaReporters at the Annual General Meeting of Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON, held at Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos described copyright and Intellectual property theft as a very serious issue in Nigeria, stating that it must be dealt with urgently as it is reducing the creativity of the new generation of Musician.

According to him, the process of making music has now significantly changed from what it used to be in his time, as “more mediocres” are now in the game.

“Copyright is a very serious business and the contravention of copyright laws is more serious than you can imagine,” the Professor of Art told to SaharaReporters. Most people still believe that someone can just pick somebody’s work, which we call intellectual property right, and use it for his own benefit of the detriment of the composer, the man who actually created the work. You know it takes time to create a work; it takes a lot of research to be able to come out with a piece of work. You know one single track is equivalent to research journal and then a whole record is equivalent to a book publication, so people don’t understand it they don’t know. You don’t just wake up in the university then you just put anything down and you call it a journal or a book. It takes a lot of research to be able to do one piece of music. The composition, the lyrics, the music, the score, the arrangement, the production and booking of the studio all cost money, and someone will just come and take the work and use it as his own or probably do an advert on it.”

Uwaifo recalled how he sued Pepsi for N500million for using one of his songs in one of its adverts without following the due process. “Pepsi used my song ‘Arabade” he said.

“I’m suing Pepsi for N500million; the case is already at the Federal High Court in Benin.” When asked if he was going to take any legal action against Simi, he replied: “One after the other. I cannot just take everybody to court at the same time.

I don’t know whether he or she; I know she is but I know somebody is behind it. An LP was sent as a compliment; I’m still looking at it but they were planning to come to Benin to see me; up till now, they haven’t come, so I’m just putting that one on hold. ‘Joromi’ is a franchise; the name never existed before.

Benin don’t have “J” in their language; if any started with ‘J’ in Benin then it is fake. All consonant words start with vowel sounds. For example, if I use the trademark of one of these soft drinks, it is wrong. So Simi is in trouble.”
