Suspect who intruded Rihanna’s home actually wanted to have sex with her

A 26 year old man who was arrested for allegedly breaking into pop star, Rihanna’s Los Angeles home reportedly invaded the property in a bid to have sex with the pop star. But unfortunately for him, she was in another state.

Police were called to the pop star’s house on Thursday morning 10th of May, 2018 after her assistant discovered the alarm system had been disabled.

According to a report by TMZ.com, cops found a male intruder had made himself at home in the dwelling, charging his cell phone and unpacking his bag, having apparently gained entry on Wednesday.

The suspect, identified as Eduardo Leon, was ordered to step outside, but he reportedly failed to directly obey officers’ instructions, and was shocked with a taser gun before he was hauled into custody.

He was also reported to have made himself comfortable in her home as he stayed all through the night and even took time to charge his mobile device.

When questioned by authorities, he is said to have claimed he was there to seduce Rihanna and sleep with her.

He was booked for residential burglary, trespassing, and stalking, as police reportedly linked Leon to another incident on 4 May (18), when he allegedly broke into another home he thought belonged to the singer.

Leon is currently being held on $150,000 bail.

Rihanna has been in New York all week, attending the Met Gala on Monday (07May18), and launching her new lingerie collection, Savage X Fenty, on Thursday.

It’s not the first time the sexy star’s homes have been targeted by intruders.

Last year (17), Salmir Feratovic was booked for criminal trespassing after being found at the Big Apple building where Rihanna has a penthouse.

She also had to obtain a restraining order against Robert Melanson in June, 2013, after he was arrested for allegedly trespassing on the roof of her Pacific Palisades pad in California, the same property where another man was busted four months earlier on suspicion of burglary.

However, most of their fans felt they should have ended up together considering how long they have been friends and how they have always admired each other.

While others focused on the positioning of John. They felt he should have leaned towards his wife and not Yvonne, hence making her look more like the bride.

According to him,  “Yahoo boys are armed robbers. Armed with computers harming people and corporations.

“So please, file them next to Drug dealers, thieves, money launderers etc. They don’t deserve to be glorified, praised or emulated. We need this reality check.”

He added: “for those that are idolizing Yahoo people. That isn’t the Nigerian dream.

Popular Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo had his traditional wedding with his long-time girlfriend today in Accra.

The actor tied the knot to his fiancee, Gifty Mawunya, who has suddenly become the most sought after lady in the country after the revelation was made.

According to reports, John Dumelo is holding his traditional ceremony at the residence of his fiancee, Mawunya, at Spintex with close friends and family members in attendance.

It was also gathered that Mawunya is a close friend of popular actress, Nadia Buari, who is suspected to have midwifed the relationship.

Grapevines also have it that Dumelo is very busy preparing for the D-day, the reason he has been less active on social media, lately.

A check on Dumelo’s Instagram page reveals he hasn’t updated his page since April 30, something which is unlike the actor cum businessman.

A video of Dumelo’s arrival at his ongoing Traditional marriage ceremony was also shared online by the media house.

Born again Nollywood actor, Emeka Okoro, who’s one of the few celebrities who left acting for the pulpit, has in a new interview with Showtime celebrity, talked about his conversion, acting career, marriage among others.

According to the actor, Christ is happening in the Nigerian entertainment industry and you no one can take that away – he further disclosed that one can’t even resist when God is interested in one’s case.

You’ve been away from the industry for a while, what have you been up to?

I have a media outfit that I’ve been running and at the same time I’ve been acting. These days, the movies we make doesn’t really move except they are shown in the cinemas, but I’ve been acting.

You recently became born again like some of your colleagues. What do you think is responsible for Nollywood heavyweights abandoning their acting career to become pastors?

I think Christ is happening in the industry! And you can’t take it away, it’s like a crusade and God is doing it Himself. You can’t even resist it when God is interested in your case; if you don’t want to answer it, frustration comes your way until you answer the divine call.

How did you meet your wife?

We met on set! We became friends at first and along the line we noticed there was chemistry between us and we were connecting. So we became close and I proposed to her.

How have you been able to prevent your marriage from crashing like that of many entertainers?

When you are on the solid rock, when you are in Christ, you don’t have anything to fear anymore. Christ is the base we are standing on and we don’t go outside that principle.

Have you been tempted to go out with another woman since you got married?

That is almost a daily thing and that is why I titled my new movie “Flee”, so you don’t stay there to fight the battle. You have to take off!

Controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo insulted Olamide years ago. She accused him of involving ritual practices in his music career and said thunder should strike her if it was a lie.

Few years later, the blogger announced thunder nearly killed her on the table she was washing her clothes.

She wrote:

However, an old tweet revealed that Kemi Olunloyo probably got struck by Thunder due to a claim she made about Olamide in which she stated that he does money rituals.

Azealia Banks & CardiB dragged each other on Twitter after the Harlem artist’s controversial interview on The Breakfast Club.

Azealia had appeared on The Breakfast Club on Friday, where she discussed topics ranging from Donald Trump to Kanye West, her upcoming music, as well as her previous criticism of Cardi B.

When confronted about calling the Cardi B “an illiterate rat” back in February, she said:

“When I look at black women’s culture as a whole thing and then you think about the media and the power the media has … the media has the power to make anyone at the forefront,” she says.

“I think that it’s very concerning to me that this conversation surrounding back women’s culture changed.”

“I feel like maybe two years ago the conversation about black culture was really reaching an all-time high. We were really discussing the power among ourselves. Then everything just changed. Then, it was like Cardi B.”

Banks went on to describe Cardi as a “caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away with.”

“If my spelling and grammar was that bad I’d be cancelled,” she says. “If Nicki Minaj spelled like that, they’d be ragging on her all day. When it comes to this female rap thing that we have, I don’t understand how we go from Beyoncé and Lemonade and Solange and all these great conversations to like … this. I know we’re not monolithic but come on.

“It’s not that [she’s a stripper]. I feel like you guys use everything to make this bigger than what it is. I just don’t understand the extreme lack of couth.

“I’ve never seen that. I’ve never seen that at the forefront of female rap. I didn’t know that the bar would be lowered so much. It was kind of like a culture shock.

“When you’re talking about this female rap thing — bitches that really push their pen, girls that live, breathe and sweat this art thing — I just feel like it’s unfair to the real institution of female rap.”

The ongoing drama between Tonto Dikeh and her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill over rent issues in Ghana seem not to be ending.

The aactress has hit back at her ex-husband via a social media post in which she labelled him a fraudster who should go settle his debts.

It all started when an Instagram handle accused Churchill of theft and failure to pay rent for an apartment in Ghana.

Tonto Dikeh jumped in and dropped a comment of advise to the handlers of the page.

The post from the actress didn’t sit well with Olakunle Churchill who then slammed her with claims that she has been depriving him of their son, King.

He wrote:

AS FOR YOU MAMA KING, THOUGHT WE HAVE MOVED ON AND YOU ARE NOT MY PA NEITHER MY SECRETARY HENCEFORTH DESIST FROM ANYTHING THAT CONCERNS ME.LASTLY YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW WITH ALL YOU HAVE TRIED,THAT NO ONE CAN PULL A MAN DOWN ESPECIALLY ONE WITH THE GRACE OF GOD.

Reacting to the post, Tonto Dikeh fired back at Churchill telling him to stay on his lane.

“Call your son, have a bond with my son if you want to rather than coming out to play victim and adding him to such useless gist.

The singer revealed that his last relationship left him heartbroken and that was what motivated him to release the record, ‘Folashade,’ which earned him a Headies award.

“Folashade was inspired by my last relationship; I like to write songs based on true life experiences so that a lot of people would be able to relate with the songs. On the day I recorded the song, I was very heartbroken so when I got into the studio, I started making the beat. I produced the song myself. The singer noted that recently he has been feeling lonely, encouraging any lady who is interested in him to ‘shoot their shot’ as he would love to have a girlfriend soon,

The Rich and Famous singer told Saturday Beats that his parents have begun to mount pressure on him about marriage but he always tries his best to avoid such conversations.

“The last time it happened, I was talking about a particular subject with my father that had nothing to do with relationship or even marriage and all of a sudden, my father said, ‘Praiz you know that the bible says…’

“I know my father very well, so I just told him that I was very tired. It is not that I would not want to get married, I believe in love and I would want to get married someday but the time has to be right.

“She’s in trouble” – Sir Victor Uwaifo threatens to sue singer, Simi for ‘Joromi’ song theft

Nigerian music legend, Sir Victor Uwaifo, has said singer Simi, is in trouble for “stealing” his intellectual property, ‘Joromi’.

Uwaifo who released the hit song ‘Joromi’ in 1969 says the song, which brought him fame and fortune, has now become a victim of intellectual property theft as Simi failed to give credit to him when she released her own version in 2017.

Uwaifo in a recent interview with SaharaReporters at the Annual General Meeting of Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON, held at Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos described copyright and Intellectual property theft as a very serious issue in Nigeria, stating that it must be dealt with urgently as it is reducing the creativity of the new generation of Musician.

According to him, the process of making music has now significantly changed from what it used to be in his time, as “more mediocres” are now in the game.

“Copyright is a very serious business and the contravention of copyright laws is more serious than you can imagine,” the Professor of Art told to SaharaReporters. Most people still believe that someone can just pick somebody’s work, which we call intellectual property right, and use it for his own benefit of the detriment of the composer, the man who actually created the work. You know it takes time to create a work; it takes a lot of research to be able to come out with a piece of work. You know one single track is equivalent to research journal and then a whole record is equivalent to a book publication, so people don’t understand it they don’t know. You don’t just wake up in the university then you just put anything down and you call it a journal or a book. It takes a lot of research to be able to do one piece of music. The composition, the lyrics, the music, the score, the arrangement, the production and booking of the studio all cost money, and someone will just come and take the work and use it as his own or probably do an advert on it.”

Uwaifo recalled how he sued Pepsi for N500million for using one of his songs in one of its adverts without following the due process. “Pepsi used my song ‘Arabade” he said.

“I’m suing Pepsi for N500million; the case is already at the Federal High Court in Benin.” When asked if he was going to take any legal action against Simi, he replied: “One after the other. I cannot just take everybody to court at the same time.

I don’t know whether he or she; I know she is but I know somebody is behind it. An LP was sent as a compliment; I’m still looking at it but they were planning to come to Benin to see me; up till now, they haven’t come, so I’m just putting that one on hold. ‘Joromi’ is a franchise; the name never existed before.

Benin don’t have “J” in their language; if any started with ‘J’ in Benin then it is fake. All consonant words start with vowel sounds. For example, if I use the trademark of one of these soft drinks, it is wrong. So Simi is in trouble.”

Controversial TV/radio presenter, Afia Schwarzenegger and Counselor Lutterodt has labelled Actress Yvonne Nelson as the mother of a bastard.

This however led to heavy backlash from Ghanaians who felt the word was too harsh to use on the baby.

Despite the abusive remarks the both of them received from Ghanaians following their comments about Yvonne Nelson’s daughter, it still didn’t stop fellow actress, A.J Poundz real name Matilda Adjoa Densu, from making the same statement about the baby.

In a conversation with Zionfelix.net, A.J Poundz without fear or favor said Yvonne’s daughter is a bastard.

According to her, any human being born of a man and woman who are not married is part of the bastard association, so the public should not exempt Ryn born on October 29, 2017, from the list.

She further proceeded in telling people not to be afraid of saying the truth about Yvonne’s case due to her celebrity status.

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro has explained why most celebrities are still single.

According to the 36-year-old actress, who is also single at the moment, she said a lot of the female celebs are confused as they can’t figure out if a man is coming for true love or because of their fame or money.

She said “A good number of celebs are single because they are confused as to who to accept in their life. You see, you are not sure if the person is coming in because of your fame and money or the person wants to be with you because of real love”.

Speaking about her own love life in the interview with showbiz, the actress said:

“The issue is men don’t have balls to come forward to ask me out because they think I am already hooked or perhaps I am very high maintenance.

“Also, I may still be single because most people think celebrities are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing partners but that is a very wrong perception,”

While the housemates were trying to put themselves in position for the photo, CeeC was seen awkwardly trying to get herself in between lovers, Miracle and Nina.

Though, as could be heard in the video, she probably was trying not to get close to Tobi but it’s quite awkward because she then pulls Miracle close to her again.

Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill have been exchanging words in their ongoing drama/conflict after a Ghanaian house agent called them out over unpaid rent.

The agent claimed that the house is for a widow and she deserves her accurate rent.

Tonto then went under the comment section to defend the agent, also suggesting how churchill could be reached.

Churchill then responded to the claims and also used the opportunity to warn Tonto Dikeh.
