According to him, “Yahoo boys are armed robbers. Armed with computers harming people and corporations.
“So please, file them next to Drug dealers, thieves, money launderers etc. They don’t deserve to be glorified, praised or emulated. We need this reality check.”
He added: “for those that are idolizing Yahoo people. That isn’t the Nigerian dream.

Popular Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo had his traditional wedding with his long-time girlfriend today in Accra.
The actor tied the knot to his fiancee, Gifty Mawunya, who has suddenly become the most sought after lady in the country after the revelation was made.

Born again Nollywood actor, Emeka Okoro, who’s one of the few celebrities who left acting for the pulpit, has in a new interview with Showtime celebrity, talked about his conversion, acting career, marriage among others.
According to the actor, Christ is happening in the Nigerian entertainment industry and you no one can take that away – he further disclosed that one can’t even resist when God is interested in one’s case.

You’ve been away from the industry for a while, what have you been up to?
I have a media outfit that I’ve been running and at the same time I’ve been acting. These days, the movies we make doesn’t really move except they are shown in the cinemas, but I’ve been acting.
You recently became born again like some of your colleagues. What do you think is responsible for Nollywood heavyweights abandoning their acting career to become pastors?
I think Christ is happening in the industry! And you can’t take it away, it’s like a crusade and God is doing it Himself. You can’t even resist it when God is interested in your case; if you don’t want to answer it, frustration comes your way until you answer the divine call.
How did you meet your wife?
We met on set! We became friends at first and along the line we noticed there was chemistry between us and we were connecting. So we became close and I proposed to her.
How have you been able to prevent your marriage from crashing like that of many entertainers?
When you are on the solid rock, when you are in Christ, you don’t have anything to fear anymore. Christ is the base we are standing on and we don’t go outside that principle.
Have you been tempted to go out with another woman since you got married?
That is almost a daily thing and that is why I titled my new movie “Flee”, so you don’t stay there to fight the battle. You have to take off!

Controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo insulted Olamide years ago. She accused him of involving ritual practices in his music career and said thunder should strike her if it was a lie.
Few years later, the blogger announced thunder nearly killed her on the table she was washing her clothes.
She wrote:

The ongoing drama between Tonto Dikeh and her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill over rent issues in Ghana seem not to be ending.
The aactress has hit back at her ex-husband via a social media post in which she labelled him a fraudster who should go settle his debts.
It all started when an Instagram handle accused Churchill of theft and failure to pay rent for an apartment in Ghana.
Tonto Dikeh jumped in and dropped a comment of advise to the handlers of the page.
The post from the actress didn’t sit well with Olakunle Churchill who then slammed her with claims that she has been depriving him of their son, King.

He has announced his mission to make the world a better place than he met it in his own little way by catering to the basic needs of his people.
The father of one took to his IG page to share a model of the hospital he wants to build for his community in Delta state.

Nigerian music legend, Sir Victor Uwaifo, has said singer Simi, is in trouble for “stealing” his intellectual property, ‘Joromi’.
Uwaifo who released the hit song ‘Joromi’ in 1969 says the song, which brought him fame and fortune, has now become a victim of intellectual property theft as Simi failed to give credit to him when she released her own version in 2017.
Uwaifo in a recent interview with SaharaReporters at the Annual General Meeting of Copyright Society of Nigeria, COSON, held at Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos described copyright and Intellectual property theft as a very serious issue in Nigeria, stating that it must be dealt with urgently as it is reducing the creativity of the new generation of Musician.
According to him, the process of making music has now significantly changed from what it used to be in his time, as “more mediocres” are now in the game.
“Copyright is a very serious business and the contravention of copyright laws is more serious than you can imagine,” the Professor of Art told to SaharaReporters. Most people still believe that someone can just pick somebody’s work, which we call intellectual property right, and use it for his own benefit of the detriment of the composer, the man who actually created the work. You know it takes time to create a work; it takes a lot of research to be able to come out with a piece of work. You know one single track is equivalent to research journal and then a whole record is equivalent to a book publication, so people don’t understand it they don’t know. You don’t just wake up in the university then you just put anything down and you call it a journal or a book. It takes a lot of research to be able to do one piece of music. The composition, the lyrics, the music, the score, the arrangement, the production and booking of the studio all cost money, and someone will just come and take the work and use it as his own or probably do an advert on it.”
Uwaifo recalled how he sued Pepsi for N500million for using one of his songs in one of its adverts without following the due process. “Pepsi used my song ‘Arabade” he said.

Tweet Oracle, who was the social media strategist for the Big Brother Naija winner, Miracle, has narrated how he was treated badly by the reality tv star’s family.
Yesterday, a message from one of team Miracle’s Whatsapp group surfaced which shows Tweet Oracle narrating to the group how he was mistreated by Miracle and his family, and how he was accused of keeping money meant to vote Miracle to himself.

“I am going to have another baby very soon. I am obsessed with children and while growing up, I had always wanted to have four children, so we have to complete the equation,” she said.
The actress who doubles as the Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment, Arts and Culture in Kogi State was eager to speak about her most recent project which is a movie title, ‘The Lamb.’
The movie which is subtitled in Igala language, tells the story of a legendary Igala princess warrior, who, despite being the pride of her father and loved by her people, had to be sacrificed for peace.
“Not only does ‘The Lamb,’ stand out in terms of its plot and world-class production, it also evokes ancient memories in the most compelling manner.
“It is a thoroughly researched work that also brings to the fore, the ancient cultural relationship between the Igala people and the Edos.
“One of such initiatives is the Kogi State Diaries which seeks to harness the media as a tool for telling the story of the people of the state and showcasing their cultural diversity to a global audience.
“The movie is co-sponsored by the Kogi State Government and directed by Frank Rajah Arase.
“Quite a number of upcoming acts that participated in Governor Yahaya Bello’s talent hunt show also featured in the movie.
“It has not been easy combining my roles as an actress, representative of Kogi State, a mother and a wife but I describe myself as a home girl and everything has always been about a system of priority for me.
“So God comes first, my family and then work; God and my family have to be settled before we can talk about work because when I am not happy at home,
“I cannot function in whatever capacity I ought to function, so I have always followed my priorities.
“As I speak with you, if I get a call from my kids’ school and they inform me that something happened, I would leave everything I am doing and rush there,” she noted.
He recently gave a sermon where he decried the level of ‘pride’ shown by church members these days – Pastor TB Joshua rebuked churchgoers who rely on their “dirty money” to pave way for them to receive God’s blessings.
According to the prophet, Christians should rather engage in an assignment in their various churches, as he stressed the need to set a day aside in the week for such purpose.
He further added that people should stay within their respective churches to render their services, without feeling the need to join a ‘megachurch’.
“We are too proud – that is why we believe so much in money,” he told congregants at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).
“‘Money answereth everything’ – that is the voice of pride”, he continued in the sermon titled ‘Read The Bible With Forgiveness’.
“When you speak, one can hear the voice of money. When you walk, one can see the traces of money… But money is dirty; the journey of money is too far”.
“Get interested in His plans and work with His projects. Go and work in the church where humility can come,” he candidly counselled, explaining this would afford the opportunity to work freely with people irrespective of their social class.
Joshua recounted how his own mother would regularly bring him to church at the weekends and he watched intently as she diligently cleaned the church premises and simultaneously prayed.
When I asked her what she was saying in her prayers, she told me, ‘Lord, as I clean Your house, clean my life, future, family and children’. Here I am today.”
“It’s not the size of the ministry that determines the strength of the ministry,” he explained.
“The strength of the ministry is the relationship of the ministry to God; it is not the population or crowd, fame or popularity. You can see just two members in a church that is more connected to God than the biggest church,” he added.
“When you look at my antecedents, you will see I have more degrees in persecution than praise. I am a professor when it comes to persecution but I am just a first-degree holder in praise.
“Well, I am not expecting praise because my reward is over there,” he concluded.

An angry Juliet Ibrahim took to Twitter to slam the radio station for spreading fake news about her.
She wrote,
“I thought you were a reputable station? Did I grant you any interview and you are quoting me with a made up headline? If this article isn’t taken down in seconds my lawyer will contact you! Unprofessionalism at its peak!” she ranted.
