A Nigerian motivational speaker has taken to Facebook to reveal how a young lady lost a job even before she actually sat for the interview.
Abiodun Atobatele, a Nigerian motivational speaker has made an interesting revelation that has gotten many young people thinking about their lives.
According to him, a young lady who was asked to contact him for a job opening lost the job even without sitting for the interview because of the way she chatted him up on WhatsApp.
Abiodun revealed that the way the young lady used abbreviations while chatting with him completely disqualified her from getting the job.

Since he made the revelation, many young persons following Abiodun on Facebook have advised themselves to be careful with how they abbreviate words when they chat with people on social media.
It is no longer news that too many young people like using abbreviations when they write things on social media and that practice is fast ruining their abilities to spell words correctly no matter how simple.

The couple who are rumoured to be dating, stepped out today in matching outfits for a visit to Vice President’s daughter Kiki Osinbajo’s office in Abuja.
A pastor has told women that it is an abomination for them to call their husbands by his name or a pet name.
Pastor Chris Ojigbani, who calls himself a marriage and relationship expert, said a man is a woman’s Lord and as such, she should never call him by his name or by a pet name. He said names such as “sweetheart, darling, even baby” should never be uttered by women in relation to their husbands. He was especially opposed to the use of “baby” and said it belittles a man. Lol. What an archaic man!
Pastor Ojigbani advised the female members of his congregation to refer to their husbands as “My King” and “My Lord”. The use of ordinary names and pet names, he said, are as a result of wrong teachings.
As he preached, the female members of his congregation were seen nodding their head in agreement. After the video was shared online, a lot of people expressed support for his teaching but some pointed out that he calls Jesus by name though he is his Lord.
The pastor has now replied to those opposing his teaching.
He wrote:
It’s amazing how many wives and unmarried women refused to accept the simple teaching in the video above where I taught wives how to become queen in their marriage.
In the video, I simply asked wives to make their husbands king if they want to become queen. And to do that, I explained you must respect him by calling him King or lord and by serving him food like a king. But it’s so unfortunate that some of the women are arguing the teaching and insulting me as well.
After much consideration, I decided to ignore the insults and help you with further explanations. And I will like to start by asking a question. Is there anything wrong in asking a wife to respect her husband? Any woman who doesn’t respect the husband is actually disobeying the word of God, which says that wives should respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:22). It’s also interesting to note that any disobedience of the Word of God is a sin. If your husband doesn’t treat you well, he has committed a sin and will have a question to answer before God on the judgement day.
So, if you disrespect your husband because he doesn’t treat you well, you will also have a question to answer on the judgement day. It’s also important you note that you should respect your husband unconditionally. You don ‘t respect your husband because he treats you well. In Christianity, respect is not reciprocal. In the world, respect is reciprocal but in Christianity, respect is sacrificial.
I also noticed that many wives commented they would never call their husbands lord. But the Bible tells us that Sarah called Abraham lord (1Peter 3:6). If Sarah called her husband lord, what makes you feel you are too big to call your husband lord? Apart from the fact that Sarah called Abraham lord, is there any other scripture that says the husband is the lord of his wife? Yes, Ephesians 5:22 says that you should respect your husband as lord. Verse 23 of the same chapter also says that your husband is your head just as Christ is the head of the church.
So, my teaching is scriptural! And I didn’t write the Bible. The teaching is very clear and simple. Apart from the fact that the teaching in the video is scriptural, what wrong have I done to ask you to respect your husband? I didn’t ask you to respect me, but to respect your husband. Some of you respect pastors so much but have no respect for your husband. Some of you don’t call your pastors by their names but call your husband by his name. One lady even commented that she must call her husband by his name because she calls Jesus by His name.
Kindly check the scripture and you will find out that no disciple of Christ called Him Jesus Christ. Some may have referred to Him as Jesus when talking about Him to people, but when talking to Him directly, they called Him Master, Rabbi, Son of David, etc.
The previous week, I published a video, where I rebuked only husbands and many women applauded the teaching. But because the teaching in this video advises wives, the same women are angry. One of the women even commented that my teaching is an African teaching. Please note that there is nothing African about the teaching.
The teaching is directly based on scripture, and the scriptural references are Ephesians 5:22-25 and 1Peter 3:1-6. It will interest you to note that the teaching that supports equality of husband and wife is based on western culture. The Bible does not support equality of a husband and wife. It, however, supports equality of a man and woman, but not a husband and wife. It’s different in marriage. A woman may be the head of a big organisation but her husband is still her head.
The Bible clearly says that the husband is the head (Ephesians 5:23). You can’t be equal with your head. There is no scripture that supports equality of husband and wife. Rather western culture supports it. Unfortunately, there is a mixup of western culture and scriptural doctrines. Many people practise western cultures, thinking they are practising scriptural doctrines.
Having said this, I want you to know that I don’t support the maltreatment of wives. God forbid! The teaching in the video was just to help wives become queen in their marriages. If you listen to the full message, you will see how I rebuked husbands. I actually rebuke husbands more because wives are weaker vessels. But I want you to know there is no other way of becoming a queen in your marriage apart from making your husband the king.
For you to become a queen, your husband must first become the king. The message has been tested and proven. It works! From the comments I read, it’s obvious that some of the ladies are bitter against their husbands. And I will like to beg you to take it easy with husband. He may be maltreating you, but you are also not treating him well. If you give him his due respect, you will be happy. The problem is usually who will become nice first.
I know that some people wrongly teach you that you are equal with your husband. They are deceiving you. Such teaching makes so much sense but cannot be found in the Bible. Apart from the fact that the Bible says wives should respect their husbands, it’s clearly better to respect than to disrespect a person. Do not see me as your opponent. God called me to help Christians, irrespective of one’s church or denomination. That explains why I don’t pastor a church. W
Ives, I beg you to be respectful to your husbands. Be submissive to your husband as the Bible teaches us. You can’t be disrespectful to your husband and still pray to God. Any wife who disrespects the husband has no relationship with God. A man, on the other hand, who maltreats the wife has no relationship with God.
My teaching may be hard but it’s the truth. We live in a time that people have itchy ears but I teach only what you should know. I don’t teach what you want to hear but what you should hear. If your husband has annoyed you so much, please forgive him and have a fresh start with him. Put into practice my teaching, and your husband will make you his queen. You can’t be happy in the marriage if your husband is not happy. Make him happy and become the happiest wife on earth. When I teach husbands, I rebuke them as well. But now, I am speaking to wives.
Respecting your husband does not mean you are a slave. Rather, it cements your relationship better. I also want you to know that you cannot modernise marriage.
Marriage is an old-fashioned institution and must be practised in an old-fashioned way. Any attempt to modernise it will destroy it. Jesus Christ said that if you put a new wine into an old wineskin, it will bust.
The marriage system has “busted” because we are attempting to practise it with new marriage doctrines. We must go back to the scripture and practise only scriptural doctrines if we want to restore our marriage system. I would have explained further to you but I feel that I have already said enough.

The young lady who was a great supporter of the Big Brother Naija reality show of the 2018 edition claims to be a ‘warrior’ who doesn’t believe in giving up.
In a public hearing of her testimony, she said she wouldn’t like to be regarded as a disabled person despite having one arm. She also gave a sneak-peek of the agony she passed through when she had an accident that damaged her arm.

The co-founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Gloria Bamiloye, has given her opinion on one of the most controversial topics in Christendom – The issue on whether Christian women should wear trousers or not.
According to the Evangelist Gloria Bamiloye who is also the wife of Mike Bamiloye ; wearing of trousers cannot actually be considered wrong, but as a believer, it might not be portraying the woman in the right way to unbelievers.
Gloria Bamiloye writes:
Answer: Deuteronomy 22:5 KJVS [5] The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
The scripture does not specify the clothes for the man and the one for the woman from this verse. And so it depends on what each country, nations, Tribe accepts as the cloth for the man or for woman For example in our country Nigeria ,there are so many tribes and tongues not to talk about the world. This scripture therefore does not specify but the Lord expect us to now walk with our initiatives on how a child of God should dress based on where he or she comes from.
In the western world, Men and women wear trousers. Women have her own special way of sewing their trousers and the same with men.
In Africa, we have some who wear trousers while majority don’t.
Now coming down to our country, in yoruba land, culturally, ladies don’t wear trousers while men wear. In some parts of Nigeria, in some tribes, men tie wrapper like women Because of these varieties in tribes and culture all over the world it is difficult to say this is how somebody should dress. In Scotland for example, men wear skirt like women.

Even though we have liberty to put on whatever we feel like wearing, we must not become stumbling block for others who are weak. That is to say according to Paul if ordinary eating of meat will cause your brother to stumble away from faith, phe said he will not eat meat again

Jesus did not come to the world to die for himself. He came for you and me. He denied himself of his glory coming to the world and working around touching lives. He became poor so we can be rich. He did everything for the souls of men. My brethren, if we are saved, it is not only for you. You are saved to rise up for others. So you are not to be concerned about only your comfort . Think about others who are looking up to you. Wearing of trousers or not is not actually the issue because many born again sisters are wearing other things more terrible than trousers because according to them, they love to be comfortable.
There are some terrible trousers people wear these days that reveal all the shape and contour of their bodies same with very tight and mini skirts. Where is the love of God in us if our intention is to cause others to fall? You may not know but that is the target of the enemy.
We were coming from outside the country some times ago, and at the airport I saw a married lady with her child and husband following. She wore a very tight pair of jeans trousers which exposed her in a very seductive way . It was too tight that it is difficult to explain. Such a lady is married, but to her she just wanted to wear something she loved to wear, without considering the impact on others. That is not love.
A Christian has liberty in Christ, but the Word of God cautions us to be careful how we use this Liberty. So we won’t make somebody to stumble away from faith. There so many young converts who are not so strong in faith like you are. If you allow any of them to fall out of faith because of your comfort, God will not take it lightly with you.

A sister was telling me why she decided not wear trousers again. She and her friend went for evangelism her friend wore trousers and blouse while she wore a dress. She used to wear trousers too due to the nature of her work. So many times she is in trousers even when she is not in her place of work. She is so much used to wearing trousers. Fortunately for her that day she didn’t put on trousers and so they were out for evangelism.
They now met a man and started preaching to him. She said the man was just looking at her friend who wore trouser without paying attention to what they were saying . When he could no longer stand it he called this sister and told her to please tell her friend that wore trousers to excuse them. The man said he could not imagine somebody like her preaching to him. That was how the friend left them and the man now told the sister to continue the massage, that he can now listen. This incidence affected the sister that when she got back home. She gave out all her trousers. There is nothing bad in wearing trousers especially when it necessary like in some profession, activities and so on. And everybody will understand.
The most important thing for you to know as a child of God is that you are not living for yourself only, but for the Lord and the people you will reach for Christ. If the holy spirit is actually living in you, you will be concerned how you treat your body to glorify God.
If such sisters were to be in the western world, nobody would read any meaning to it because they see nothing special in you wearing trousers since it is part of their life style. But it means different thing to a lot of people in Africa. It is not spiritually wise to bring their ways of life here. It may hinder the move of God. We therefore need to listen to our spirits on how to dress. That body belongs to God and everything God would do in this world is through that body. We therefore need to treat our body with the wisdom of God so we won’t hinder His move.
Another female minister of God was invited to a woman program. As she was dressing up to go for the program, she heard it deep down in her from the Holy Spirit to remove her earring because she uses them. She was so confused because she has never been condemned on that before.
Anyway to have peace she had to obey her spirit. She removed it and went for the program. She was welcomed and led straight to the altar to minister. She said as she told the women “let Us pray” and all the women closed their eyes, The Holy Spirit told her to wait, open her eyes and look at all the women seated. So she paused and opened her eyes to look at all the women in the hall. She discovered that none of them wore earrings. Then the Lord told her, If she had come here with her earnings, she would not be allowed to preach because there they don’t use it at all. She was shocked and because of that she chose not to put it on again.
What am I saying therefore is that if you are a child of God, there will be sacrifices in carrying your cross to follow the Lord however little. But many believers are not ready to sacrifice anything, and for such, you don’t expect God to use you beyond your church.
If you want God to trust you with great works, you must be ready to sacrifice your comfort at times for God to have his way in your life. There are things he may ask you to drop even though they are not sinful, but for Him to move unhindered, You may need to do so and every obedience like that will lead to promotion.
So in anything we do let us know that we are not only living for ourselves but for God and souls. Do not be a stumbling blocking to others in what ever you allow in your life ,be it in your dressing ,or in any other areas of your life . That is how to walk in love. Listen to the HolySpirit because he lives in you and be ready to obey him because God is more concerned with souls of men hence he said

Nigerian Singer, Davido now fondly called Mr. Assurance has issued a stern warning via his social media platform, to folks who rock fake designer wears shortly after Toke Makinwa flaunted her “off-white” designer belt.
The singer revealed that he would snitch on any one who flaunts their fake wears the next time he spots one.

Nigerian singer, Benjamin Ogwehi, aka, Mr. Shaa, who became the first Nigerian entertainer to invest in buying a sex doll has revealed that he is yet to have sex with it.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Shaa claimed that he was yet to have sex with the doll.

The Benin Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction of three fraudsters at the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State.
Two of the convicts, Prince Henry Ofeyi and Afatakpa David were convicted and sentenced by Justice P. I. Ajoku on Wednesday April 2 while the third convict, David Abumhere was convicted and sentenced on Thursday April 3, by the same judge.
Henry Ofeyi and David Afatakpa were arraigned by the EFCC on a One count charge each bordering on intent to defraud. Prince Henry Ofeyi was said to have on or about the 5th of October, 2017 falsely represented himself to be one Dexter Smith, a false identity he used in defrauding his victims.
For Afatakpa David, he was alleged to have represented himself as Vin Diesel, an American Movie Star on social media platforms, an identity he used to defraud his victims.
Upon arraignment, the duo pleaded guilty to charge prompting the prosecution counsel, Aso Larry Peter to ask the court to convict the accused persons accordingly. He also told the court that the EFCC recovered from Prince Henry Ofeyi the sum of N400,590.00 (Four Hundred Thousand, Five Hundred and Ninety Naira) only and a Toyota Corolla Saloon car while the sum of N200,342.99 (Two Hundred Thousand, Three Hundred and Fourth Two Naira Ninety Nine Kobo) only was recovered from Akatakpa. D.Tageme.
The defence counsel Moses Oriazowan pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy saying the accused persons were remorseful and have promised never to go back to such despicable act.
After listening to both counsels, Justice P.I.Ajoku sentenced the accused persons to one month imprisonment each adding that the proceeds of crime be forfeited to the Federal Government so that their victims can be restituted.
NGO workers arrested for mismanaging N4.5m funds meant for people living with the HIV Virus.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Thursday, May 3, 2018, arraigned the trio of Owolabi Kayode Samuel, Esther Olubukola Mate and Abimbola David-Orugun before Justice Hakeem Oshodi of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, on a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing to the tune of N4.576m
The defendants, who are staff of Hope Worldwide Foundation, were arraigned alongside Cumulative Ventures Limited and Continental Best Buys Limited. .
Led by the prosecution counsel, the first prosecution witness, PW1, Abasiekong Udobang, Programme Manager, MTN Nigeria, told the court how the defendants misappropriated funds meant for the treatment of people living with AIDS and the less-privileged in the society.
Udobang also informed the court that the money belonged to MTN Foundation, a subsidiary of MTN Nigeria, which was established for the purpose of giving back to the society, in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Under cross-examination by the defence counsel, J. O.Odubela, SAN, the witness confirmed that the money meant for the treatment of the AIDs victim was usually paid to Hope Worldwide quarterly.
Justice Oshodi adjourned the case to June 26, 2018 for continuation of trial.

Timi Dakolo shades Davido and Chioma in his latest move on social media.
Musician, Timi Dakolo has joined the latest trend called ‘Assurance challenged’, and he appears to have won it already.
If you would recall, the challenge started after singer Davido bought a Porsche car for his girlfriend Chioma as an assurance of his love for her. Since the act by Davido, many celebrities have been trying to level up to the challenge.
One of those who have entered the Davido and Chioma Assurance challenge is Timi Dakolo who offered his wife something many social media users have come to agree to be worth far more than a Porsche car.
The singer took to Instagram where he offered his wife Jesus Christ as assurance of his love.

Alex shared the photo on her Instagram page but some of her followers called her out telling her not to snatch Governor Yahaya Bello from the first lady.

A Tanzanian thief was forced to surrender himself to the police after the bag he allegedly stole from an old woman ‘refused to come down from his head’, have been making rounds online.
The suspect identified as one Frank Buhet was reported to have stolen the bag which he took home but couldn’t bring it down from his head.
The mysterious incident happened in Tanzania – the culprit said, he started walking from one road to another but the load was still hanging on the head.
According to reports, he even tried laying down on the ground but the load was still unable to remove.
After spending a long time all to no avail, he decided to surrender himself to the police so that he would not be killed by angry people when they eventually notice that he stole the bag.
Even at the police station, the stolen luggage was still on his head as he hoped the police would help him track down the old woman.

A 23 year old man accused of murdering his 21 year old lover identified as Zolile Khumalo and boasting about it on Facebook made his first court appearance yesterday.
According to News24, during his brief court appearance, Thabani Mzolo was dressed in a red hoodie and blue jeans, smiling as journalists took photographs of him at a South-African court.
He has been charged with murder and the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
Earlier, Thabani Mzolo had taken to Facebook to apparently confess his misdeeds after allegedly killing his lover.
The police spokesperson, Lt.-Colonel Thulani Zwane, on Wednesday said the police were called by residents of Mangosuthu University of Technology, Durban, South Africa.
“When police arrived, they found a 21-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds,” said Zwane.
According to the police, the 21-year-old deceased has been identified as Zolile Khumalo, a quantity surveyor student.
Zwane also added, “An unlicensed firearm was recovered at the scene, as well as ammunition; and a 23-year-old male who was found at the scene surrendered to the police.”
In a Facebook post, Thabani Mzolo wrote, “It is surreal. If I had the power, I would bring her back so that we can right our wrongs by talking.
“But that’s no longer possible because she has left without me telling her that I forgive her.”
When one of the man’s Facebook friends asked him what had happened, he wrote, “Man, I killed my Zozo”.
It is suspected that he wrote the post shortly after allegedly committing the crime.
Reno Omokri has called on the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye, to withdraw the pastorship of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
He made this known via a statement released on social media where he stated that such is needed because of the lies peddled by the VP concerning former president Goodluck Jonathan.

It is sad that at a time when the Buhari administration should be telling Nigerians what they have achieved after three years, they continue to blame and point fingers.
The reason for this is because neither President Buhari nor Vice President Osinbajo can point to any project that they have initiated, started and completed in three years.

* Subsidy was a fraud they they would stop * Fuel would be sold at ?40 per liter, and * Fuel scarcity would end.
Today, after three years:
* The Buhari administration is paying more subsidy than former President Jonathan ever paid at ?1.4 trillion annually. * Fuel price was increased from ?87 to ?145 per liter * Fuel scarcity is worse.
faced with these facts, a desperate Buhari administration, wanting to be re-elected and knowing that it cannot run on its record, has devised a plan to distract attention from its woeful record of failure by making constant false allegations on the person of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
I therefore call on the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye to caution pastor Yemi Osinbajo to stop lying. If Professor Osinbajo fails to heed this advise, I urge Pastor Adeboye to remember that the Redeemed Christian Church of God ordains it pastors not to lie but to spread the word of God. Is this what Vice President Osinbajo is doing?
This administration has yet to tell Nigerians what happened to the $25 billion that was awarded in contracts without due process by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation or how Maina was returned, reinstated, double promoted and given armed guards or why the indicted Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Health Insurance Scheme was reinstated despite a clear case of corruption or when Babachir Lawal would be charged.
Instead they continue to throw mud at those who have achieved what they have not achieved.
If Pastor Osinbajo cannot stop his habit of lying, I hereby call on pastor Adeboye to withdraw his pastorate before he brings the church of Christ into disrepute”.
Senator Dino Melaye was yesterday denied bail by a Senior Magistrate Court 2 in Lokoja, Kogi state and will be remanded in custody of the Nigerian Police Force till June 11, 2018.

“My next priority this year is to go to a film school because I am aspiring to also produce.
“I will definitely go to a film school because I want to become a producer; I want to tell stories; that is my plan for this year”.
