A South African lady has revealed how she met her aunt who passed away when she was way younger..
She shared the story on her twitter page, and it has since gone viral.
She wrote;
“My aunt died when I was still in primary school. She was like my mom, I truly love her. A few years after she died, I got into a taxi with my aunt in it. I was scared to tell people about this because I knew they wouldn’t believe me. It wasn’t a look alike, it was her.”
“We didn’t chat you guys, I was 16 and was seeing a dead person. I was scared but I was also heart broken. I love her so so much, I was with her a week before she died. She is like a mom to me.”
“She was sitting in front of me (2nd row), I was right behind her. Ngidlulise imali kuyena, ngabheka phansi (I handed over money to him, looked down.). She got off first. I can’t put it to words man, I was torn.”

On the 18th of August 2016, Mr. Ori touched down New York and the rest they say is history. He has been featured on El Dorado News-Times alongside two of his classmates for representing his school in the National Collegiate Honors Council meeting that held last year in Atlanta, Georgia. Ori was also a Code2040 finalist. Code2040 is a company that aims to improve the participation of black and latinx natives in tech.

Last month, Mr. Ori launched his program CodeWithFavour – a learning platform that will empower 15 passionate Nigerians this year with skills in programming and software development, skills that would make them competent to build the next multi-billion-dollar project.
Speaking on why he started #CodeWithFavour, Mr. Ori said, “My company is doing this to reduce crime rate among youths by getting them fascinated about programming and letting them spend time doing something worthwhile and finding it fun too. I want to encourage them to embrace tech and join the development of the next multi-billion-dollar product”.
Mr. Ori also recently turned down a job offer with an enviable salary ($10k a month) just to pursue his dream of empowering youths and helping them unleash their inert potentials.
Applications for #CodeWithFavour 2018 exceeded expectations with over 200 submissions on the first few days of announcement. Unfortunately, only 15 slots were available. Accepted learners need not pay anything as Mr. Ori has pledged to cover all expenses from providing unlimited internet to obtaining software licenses for the participants. He is already in talks with software giants like Microsoft, Google and JetBrains to obtain licenses for the learners. A robust team of seasoned developers and technologists who have worked with big Silicon Valley companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Pinterest and others, will serve as mentors for the learners on the CodeWithFavour platform. Mentors will train the learners on how to create the perfect resume and how to prepare for job interviews. Students will also receive T-shirts, ID cards and other packages.
Applications for CodeWithFavour 2019 are already on, and slots are getting filled fast. The company will be accepting 3000 students for next year’s edition of CodeWithFavour. A Nigerian guy has taken to Twitter to lament over a fraud act carried out by some fraudsters who targeted and wiped out his mom’s life savings with a bank.
According to what he shared, he said his mom bank account had all her life savings in it, and the fraudsters cleared it within a blink of an eyes, and has since left her in tears.

A party in the Heights turned deadly early Sunday morning, but police say this fatal shooting has a bizarre twist. Houston police were called to an incident at 300 W. 23rd and Rutland Street around 1:30 a.m.
The Police in Houston, Texas, say a man who put on a bulletproof vest at a party has been killed after another man attending the party fired a shot at him.
Police are searching for the man who fired the fatal shot early Sunday.
Investigators say forensics tests will determine if the gunshot went through the vest or struck an uncovered area.
Houston Homicide Sgt. Mark Hollbrook said while it’s unusual for people to put on body armor and play with guns at a party, “these things happen sometimes.”
Hollbrook added;
“One of the residents at the party puts on a bulletproof vest , and another male who has a gun winds up shooting him.”
“We are just trying to identify the shooter and talk about what happened and if he was really dared to do it and lets talk to the one witness who fled the scene.”
The name of the victim hasn’t been immediately disclosed, while the police believe about six to eight people were attending the party.

Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Bambam who emerged the new Head of House, have alongside her strategic partner, Rico revealed reasons why they put up the pair MITO (Miracle and Anto) up for eviction today.
As the head of the house, she has the power to save and swap a nominated pair with some other pair.
Bambam and Rico, were saved from eviction last week by Tobi, the immediate past Head of House, who had surprisingly put up his romantic partner Cee-c for eviction
Bambam and Rico, however, put up Miracle and Anto (Mito) up for eviction, and replacing them with CeeLo (Cee-C and Lolu).
Giving their reasons, Bambam said;
“Miracle doesn’t like me. There’s this thing about him that I don’t really understand.
“The other day he messed the toilet up and when I asked him to clean it that I wanted to use it, he put up an attitude.”

Can You Live By Double Standard Without Losing Your Credibility?
Emir Muhammadu Sanusi’s daughter was once ferociously assailed for her “morally offensive” Western style of dressing and one Professor had even demanded her father to apologize for allowing his daughter to bring the Muslim ummah into disrepute. Today, Ganduje’s daughter Fatima is involved in the same “offensive” dressing. In fact, hers takes the biscuit because it involves open caressing, smooching and the fondling of her bristols by her honey Idris Ajimobi!
But these critics are curiously silent. Why? Is telling truth to power now selective or reserved only for soft targets like Sanusi because he is not politically powerful like a Governor? Daurawa, the Hisban boss or the morality police chief, is an unapologetic critic of leaders that offend Islamic values. What happened he has lost his voice, despite being the moral compass of our society? Has his courage crumbled because this time it involves Governor Ganduje’s daughter?
When I criticised the intrusion into people’s private lives, one of Sanusi’s critics and Daurawa’s fans told me that the children of Muslim leaders have no private lives as long as they “offend Islamic values in their dressing.” Then why should these critics crucify some daughters and spare others for the same “moral offence”? You can’t live by double standards without ultimately losing your own credibility. Speaking truth to power doesn’t mean selective memory or indifference to the truth that is not convenient to you.
A Teenage Chinese blogger has been arrested on suspicion of prostitution after she announced she would be offering free sex on social media.
The 19-year-old Miss Ye reportedly caused chaos as around 3,000 people flocked to the hotel, where she was staying in southern China.
According to Chinese news site ifeng.com, the incident happened in Haitang Bay, Sanya, on Hainan island of southern China.
The hotel officials also claimed they received phone calls asking for the details of the guest staying in room 6316.
Miss Ye is said to have uploaded a post at 8 pm on March 1 to advertise for her ‘free sex service’. The post, which has since been deleted, read: ‘Who’s coming to get me…to have sex…for free.‘
She also left a room number 6316 in the post.
Local authorities launched an investigation upon receiving reports from DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel confirmed that the suspect had checked in at the hotel around 3pm and stayed in room 6316, according to ifeng.com.
It was also reported that she was forced to check out her room at 10 pm as numerous people knocked on her door.
Scared for her life, Miss Ye later replied under a comment on her post and said she was just joking and begged people to stop looking for her at the hotel.
Miss Ye was later arrested at a hotel at Sanya Phoenix International Airport on suspicion of prostitution.

BBNaija Evicted Housemate, Angel has spoken on his eviction from the house, after he was voted out alongside his strategic partner, Ahneeka on Sunday night.
Angel, who spoke on AfricaMagic on Monday morning, said although he was been regarded as a confused person, it was all down to his game plan.
”I think I brought a lot of wahala to the house because at some point people thought I was doing one thing but I was doing another”, he said.
”I had to connive with a housemate to confuse other housemates, I was really a confused person.
“People really did not understand what I was doing, they thought I was just acting up, they didn’t know it was part of the game”.
When queried on what was his worst moment in the house, the Bayelsa-born housemate said it was difficult putting up with annoying little children.
According to him, most housemates were annoying and he couldn’t talk because he would be described as an old man.
He equally chipped in that not having his guitar affected his game in the house.

As a result, BamBam will now be immune from been nominated for eviction this week, and she’d have the power to save a pair up for nomination.

She was indeed geared up and ready to fight tooth and nail for the coveted Head of House title.

Last night we saw Ahneeka and Angel leave the Big Brother House as they received the least number of votes from viewers against Ceelo and Lifu.
When Ebuka asked them if they had any idea who nominated them, Ahneeka’s response was ‘everyone’ and that she had told Angel so.

Surprisingly or not so, their departure seems to have been forgotten by the remaining Housemates.
Unlike the previous eviction where we saw uncontrollable tears, this time there was none of that. The Housemates continued with their business as if nothing happened.
Isolated Themselves Much?
Looking back at their stay in the House, the pair has, on a number of occasions isolated themselves from the rest of the Housemates, Anheeka notably.
Even though Angel was visible and engaged with others [more especially when he still had his guitar] he mostly spent his time with Ahneeka, more so when they got to be strategic partners.
For someone who constantly pursued Ahneeka in the House, Rico Swavey took time to reminisce and explain to Miracle and Nina what her relationship with Anheeka was. He added that Ahneeka made it clear that she chose Angel, and even though he liked her, he knew where he stood in that triangle.
As life continues in the Big Brother House we can only be sure they both left with their tell-it like-it is personalities. And even though their void seem to be filled already, many are left heart broken by their departure.
What started as a strategic pairing between Alex and Leo slowly grew into a budding romance, the plot thickens each day and many are concerned that she will end up with a broken heart.

Just like the prolific character in Game of Thrones, Leo posesses many qualities of the rather manipulative on screen sensation. He defnitely knows how to manipulate and play people to his advantage and that is why many of the Housemates feel that his realtionship or “friendship” as he likes to call it is dangerous. Leo is a businessman so he knows what to say to people to get what he wants and orchestrate situations to his advantage.
Opposites Attract
On the flip side, Alex is a very sensitive soul, and is known in the House for her crying and getting down over what seem like small things. She is young and naive and also kind at heart so it is no wonder that she would very easilly get swayed by the charming affections of someone like Leo. His actions towards her are always gracious and loving but as each day passes, it is evident that Alex’s feelings are growing strong. She always wants to be around him, she is constantly doting on him acting very much like they are in a romantic relationship.
Behind Closed Doors
The reality is that all of this is extremely confusing because as soon as Leo gets into the Diary room, he always talks to Biggie about how he has someone outside the House, he reiterates that him and Alex are “just friends” and that the whole situation is under control. This is clearly not what Alex thinksat all because even though he has said it to her, his actions and his words do not meet up. Saturday’s Diary Sessions revealed that almost all the Housemates think that Alex’s affections for Leo are real but his are just a part of the game.
Is Leo realy the only one at fault here, or are they both just playing with fire?
A lady has alleged that her mother was beaten and her car battered by Muslims who blocked the road to pray in Bayelsa state.
Angaye said her mother was driving by a road blocked by praying Muslims and she honked several times to be allowed to pass but it wasn’t until after 15 minutes when they were done praying that they cleared the road. They then proceeded to beat her and hit her car for the distraction.

On 2/3/18 at 2pm my parents were on there way to Greater Evangelism World Crusade State HQ Opolo Yenagoa on a Ministry assignment.when they drove into opolo rd it was totally blocked,Muslims were praying with an overflow to the main road.They horned severally hoping they could pass through all to no avail so they waited patiently for 15 mins. After the prayers instead of making way for cars to pass,these Muslims attacked my mum’s car,hitting the car and beat her up seriously a 56 years old woman,even broke her spectacles in the process.we thank God she is safe and sound.I wonder if it is now lawful for people to block a major road? The operatives of Rapid Response squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested father and son for selling Tramadol and other hard drugs to primary and secondary school pupils in Itire, Lagos.
The father, Ibrahim Sheu (40) and Franku Ibrahim (23) were arrested on Friday after officials of the Office of Education and Quality Assurance, Lagos State, alerted the Rapid Response Squad officers about the incident.
The suspects, who are petty traders at a kiosk in Adedeji Bus stop, Itire, Lagos were caught selling the drugs to school pupils. Some of the pupils were later interrogated and released to their parents.
The officials of the Ministry of Education, Lagos State, on routine monitoring of schools around the area had gotten report of strange attitude of some of the school pupils in the area.
The curiosity led to the discovery of the traders selling tramadol and other hard drug to some of the school pupils in the area.
Further investigations by Rapid Response Squad officials led to the confirmation of the report and arrest of both the father and his son.
Recovered from the suspects were 72 pieces of Tramadol capsules, 28 tablets of Tramol and some other capsules.
The father, Ibrahim Sheu, who initially denied selling hard drugs to pupils, stated that it was his son that sold to the pupils whenever he was not around later confessed they both sold to pupils but added that they sold to adults too.
Commenting on the incident, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal advised parents and guardians to always debrief their wards whenever they come back from school to know their activities in schools and the kind of friends they associate with.
Edgal added that the case would be thoroughly investigated and the prosecution monitored.
The suspects are to be transferred to the SCID for further investigation.
Lebogang Setshotloe, a 21-year-old new mum, has accused a doctor at Moses Kotane Hospital, South Africa of breaking her baby’s arm during delivery.
Lebogang said she wasn’t allowed to see her baby girl until a day after delivery. She then found out that her daughter’s arm was broken.
Setshotloe revealed to South African Daily Sun that the hospital had failed her.
“I asked the nurse a day after I had a Cesarean section why my baby’s arm was broken and I was told the doctor had apologised for the mistake.
“This was a lie, as the doctor never even bothered to examine me after the delivery.
“Why was I not informed about what had happened as the mum of the child? This makes me really angry,” she said.
“I want the doctor and the hospital to come and explain to me how my baby’s arm was broken. I want to know what happened,” she cried.
Setshotloe said the horrific experience she went through showed the hospital didn’t care about the people they treat.
Her uncle, Jacob Kobedi, said, “We want the hospital to take full responsibility for the damage caused by the doctor.
“What they did and how they handled the situation doesn’t show any professionalism.”
North West Health spokesman, Tebogo Lekgethwane, said the matter was being investigated and would be properly followed up.
Nollywood actor, Osita Iheme fondly called Paw Paw due to his ‘Aki & Paw Paw’ fame has reaffirmed that he still has valid political ambition.
In a recent interview with Punch, the 36-year-old actor said; ‘while growing up, I didn’t have anything particular in mind that I wanted to do. I just grew up and found myself acting. Like I said earlier, I started my acting career in church and from there, I picked up the interest to become an international actor’.

Although, he had initially denied the second son, Ayo, it’s quite nice to see that he has finally accepted responsibility for the child.

So far so good, a total of eight housemates, have left the Big Brother Naija: Double Wahala house, with just 12 housemates left vying for the price sum of N45million.
The first set of housemates to officially leave the big brother house were, Dee-One, Vandora, Bitto and Princess. Khloe and K-Brule were disqualified from the show after they got three strikes over their misconducts in the house.
Next set of housemates to leave are Angel and Ahneeka, who had the least votes from fans of the show. Housemates left in the Big Brother house with the potential of winning the price money are, Nina, Tobi, Cee-C, Teddy A, Bam Bam, Alex, Anto,Lolu and Rico, Leo and Ifu Ennada.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Teddy A, has told his former strategic partner, BamBam, that she should try to replicate the life and style of fellow housemate, Ifu Ennada.
Teddy A, the songwriter and singer, in a bid to tutor BamBam on how to socialize and live her life, pointed that she wasn’t being herself.
Teddy A told Bambam, who is said to be a chorister in one of the leading Pentecostal Churches in the country and whose father is also an elder in the church, to start taking responsibility of her own life.
This came when they both spent time together after the Sunday’s eviction show.
Teddy A is quoted as saying,
“You must start living your life. Come out of your shell.
“Bambam, you are good but you seem to be subjecting yourself to some certain things, I don’t know.
“See, you are in Big Brother’s house and its left for you to make the best of it.
“Anyone who feels they’re too good for things that happen in the house shouldn’t have come here at all, do you get?
“Here, if you want to wear ripped jeans, wear them. If it is short gowns, whatever it is, do wear it.

Not long ago, Ifu Ennada, also had a comment about BamBam herself when she spoke during her diary session with Biggie – she described Bambam as the dirtiest housemate in terms of thoughts – Ennada is quoted as saying,
“Bambam is not real, she has the dirtiest thought. She is not real, she tried to do me bad.”

Another episode of the live version of the Big Brother Naija show took place last night, Mavin act, Dr Sid was the guest artiste for the the event.
The singer put on quite a show both in and out of it as he caused a frenzy on Twitter cause of the nature of his performance – the singer performed to the crowd in a replica of the show’s host, Ebuka’s famous Agbada to Banky’s wedding.
Twitter, in no time went hot and cold as many couldn’t understand why he opted out in copying Ebuka – some feel it’s a strategy to publicize himself, cause definitely, he’d have people talking about him.

The major highlight of last night’s live show was when pair, Geelah, were asked to leave the Big Brother house after they had the least votes from fans.
In light of this, evicted housemate, Ahneeka talked about her relationship with Rico and Angel while in the house – chatting with host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu about being evicted, Ahneeka said she was not surprised about the eviction.
“I am happy to be here.
“We are more than partners, just friends.
“But I was angel’s anchor in the house,” Ahneeka said
A Twitter user, has shared screenshots of the humourous conversation between her mother and her brother which took place on her mother’s birthday.
The mother certainly has to be an English teacher with the way she was correcting her son – the gentleman had simply wished his mom a happy birthday and said a little prayer, but his mom wasn’t having this simplicity.
His mom straight up told him to eulogize her like his sisters had done and in a bid to do this, he had a few errors in his eulogy. It’s her birthday, so she has all the time in the world, she pointed certain errors and asked that he corrected each one.
