Wizkid has revealed why he doesn’t have a picture of him and US rapper, Drake together.
He came under scrutiny when he released videos of his hit song ‘closer’ which he featured Drake.
However, the rapper didn’t appear in both videos shot for the song leading to some form of embarrassment for Wizkid.
Situation got worse when Nigerian singer and producer, Tekno posted pictures of himself chilling in a studio with Drake and hinting at a possible collaboration.
Many interpreted it to me that Drake is probably having a misunderstanding with Wizzy, that’s why both men haven’t been seen together.
Well, in a recent interview, Wizkid clarified the matter by stating that not having a picture of him and Drake doesn’t prove anything. He further mentioned that he chills and hangs with a lot of people that he doesn’t even talk about nor take pictures with.

A Kenyan man identified as David Charowass rushed to a General Hospital on emergency after he allegedly swallowed his toothbrush.
According to reports, Mr Charo was brushing his teeth when the toothbrush slid down into his throat.
The bizarre incident which took place on Sunday, April 1, has left many in shock as the man appeared in good condition, and could speak conveniently.
A series of X-rays carried out on the victim by the medics showed the toothbrush still inside him, as he awaited medical attention.
According of a relative who spoke to press men on Baraka FM; “He is here at Makadara. He was brushing his teeth when the toothbrush slid from his hand and he swallowed it.They have done three X-ray tests on him already but he has not been attended to further,”
Though the toothbrush is yet to be removed, the hospital medics have him under observation in custody of the emergency unit.
The Lagos state police command has in a press statement given an update concerning the murder of Nigerian singer, Alizee and her daughter.
The command says it has decided to take Mr Peter Nielson to court on two count charge of murder.
Mr Peter Nielson fingered to have murdered his wife, Alizee and their four year old daughter,.
The late 37 year old Nigerian singer, Zainab Ali-Nielsen, aka Alizee and her daughter were found dead on Thursday in the kitchen at their residence in Banana Island, Lagos.
Alizee’s father said, “I have known my late daughter’s husband for over seven years now. At the outset, he was of good character but last year, he started fighting his wife. Last November, a case was reported at the police station when he beat her to a coma. He then wrote an undertaking that he would never batter her again.”

The Lagos State Police Command hereby notifies the general public that it had decided to take Mr. Peter Nielson, the Danish man alleged to have murdered his wife Mrs. Zainab Nielson and daughter, Petral Nielson to court for two counts charge of murder.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State has directed that the case be charged to court based on the findings of the Crime scene detectives sent to the apartment of the Nielsons after the alleged murder was committed, the preliminary autopsy report and the result of DNA analysis carried out by forensic experts.
He would be taken to the Yaba Magistrate Court today 11th April, 2018, where the case would be mentioned and his trial for the offence of murder begins.
Meanwhile, a duplicate copy of the murder casefile has been sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP), for legal advice.
Further development on this matter would as usual be communicated to members of the public.

The professor who is a clergyman at the Anglican Diocese of Ife, Osun State, was caught in a recorded phone conversation, demanding five rounds of sex from a female student before she can pass his course.

A Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Rumuolumeni Police Division in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers state has been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen.
Identified as Kingsley Chukwueggu, he was shot dead by the gunmen, who were in police uniform in the late hours of Sunday, 8th April while he was in a private vehicle returning to Port Harcourt along Awaza community road in Abia state.
It was gathered that the police officer had travelled to see his aged mother in his village in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
According to reports, the assailants attacked him several times in his back with a cutlass before shooting him in the head at a close range.
“Chukwueggu , who was approaching the point where the hoodlums were standing, had stopped and come out of his car to instruct them to stop harassing innocent citizens. He never knew that they were not policemen. I think they identified him as a police officer and took him into a nearby bush where they attacked him with a cutlass in the back and shot him in the head,” an eye witness aid.
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zaki Ahmed, described Chukwueggu as one of the best Divisional Police Officers in the country.
“We have lost a fine officer; one of the best DPOs. He is professionally outstanding, a committed and dedicated officer, he did the job with passion.
The late DPO left behind a wife, five children and his aged mother.
A 28-year-old former student of Covenant University took to social media to narrate how he was introduced to marijuana and how the drug has ruined his life.

A public hearing organised by the Senate Joint Committee on Drugs and Narcotics and Health in Abuja held recently was based on a motion entitled “The Need to Check the Rising Menace of Pharmaceutical Drugs Abuse among Youths in Nigeria”.
It was revealed that 50 tonnes of Tramadol was recently destroyed in Kano alone.
Director, Technical Services of the agency, Mr Femi Oloruntoba, said there were laws guiding the use of controlled drugs like Tramadol and Cocaine and what was needed was enforcement of the laws.
“In 2016, about 31 different substances were abused in Nigeria,” he said.

One of Big Brother Naija “Best Couple”, Miracle and Nina, are currently having issues, after Ebuka questioned Nina’s statement, where she was quoted to have said that “She can’t date Miracle outside of the house, but rather go back to her boyfriend”.

Nina has declared that the Big Brother Naija show host, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, has damaged her relationship with her fellow housemate, Miracle and her boyfriend Collins.
Nina has lamented about the question put to her by Ebuka during last Sunday’s Night Evction show.
Ebuka had asked her how strong her relationship with Miracle was and if it would continue outside the show.
Ebuka further insisted to know if she could call Miracle her boyfriend. Responding, Nina refused to call Miracle her boyfriend, but rather said he was “My best friend. My everything.”
She said her relationship with Miracle was now in serious confusion as a result of the said question.
Nina now fears she may lose both Collins and Miracle, her two boyfriends, with the way she responded to Ebuka.
On Tuesday, she revealed to fellow housemate, Alex that Miracle has been angry with her because of her response to Ebuka.
She further explained to Alex that, “I could not call Miracle my boyfriend because I did not want to disrespect Collins. But now I feel bad.
“I would have told Ebuka Miracle was my boyfriend and that I love him.
“I wish Ebuka would ask me same question next Sunday so that I’ll correct myself.”
In the reality show, Miracle and Nina had shared kisses, had showers together and at least. cuddle every night, with something that looks like actual sex.
Alex, however, advised Nina to keep her relationship to herself and stop giving people what to talk about.
She said, “When you are asked about your relationship with Miracle, reply from your heart. Tell them what you want to tell them.”
Alex told her she should not be fast in responding to such questions because she doesn’t know what may happen outside the show.

Dane man, Mr. Peter Nielsen, accused of killing his wife and daughter, is yet to be charged with any offence, his legal representatives, Primera Africa Legal (PAL), said on Tuesday.
Police detectives from the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, are investigating Nielson over the death of his artiste wife, Zainab Ali-Nielsen and her four-year-old daughter, Petra.
It was alleged that the duo were murdered in the family’s Banana Island, Ikoyi, residence, in the early hours of April 5.
PAL’s Senior Partner, F. Boma Ayomide Alabi, said in a statement that Mr. Nielsen “is fully cooperating” with the investigators at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID).
She sought transparent investigation and access to the Danish national by his lawyers, adding that the suspect has not been charged and the cause of death was unknown.
Alabi said there had been “largely inaccurate and speculative public and media narrative”against her client.
“He has not been charged with any crime yet. The cause of death is still unknown.
“It is in the interest of justice that an opportunity is availed Mr. Nielsen to defend himself and that the investigation is transparent, factual and unbiased.
“The Nigeria Police must allow Mr. Nielsen access to his lawyers. In the eyes of the law, he is presumed innocent until proven guilty after an adversarial trial process.
“We, therefore, plead that no one rushes to judgment and that we allow the law take its course,” she said.
The spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Chike Oti, had said Nielsen was detained at the SCIID.
“The suspect is from Denmark. He has been arrested and transferred to the State CID, Panti, for thorough investigation by the Homicide Department.
“The command has also written the embassy on the suspect that police detectives are investigating one of their nationals,” he said.
Two brothers identified as Ubong Ekpe, a Managing Director of Skye Bank, Abak Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and Francis, his brother have according to reports drowned at the Ibeno Beach in the state.
It’s being reported that the men had gone to the beach to attend a friend’s birthday party on Sunday when the sad incident occurred.
Ubong is survived by a wife and 4 kids.
This comes days after it was reported that a final year Chemical Engineering student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun state died after he drowned in a pool of a hotel in the state.
According to multiple reports, the 400-level student identified as Oladipupo Ayooluwa aka Pells, who was supposed to turn a year older on the 22nd of April, drowned at Soltrag hotel, Agbara, while hanging out with friends.
The body of the deceased has long been deposited at the morgue.

Uche Maduagwu says Nina needs to learn to close her legs
Attention seeking Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu has yet again had our attention after he has something to say about the ongoing BBNaija 2018.
The actor, in particular, spoke about housemate, Nina, saying that the fair skinned beauty is too loose and should learn to close her legs else she’d loose his support for her.
He wrote on his page,

Recall Uche in a previous post said he cannot marry housemate, Cee-C
Maduagwu said he can’t marry Cee-C even if he’s offered N10 million because her drama “is too gigantic for him to curb”.
In a post via his Instagram, the actor said, “I can never MARRY cee-c even if I’m offered 10 Million Naira, her drama is too GIGANTIC for my liking.
“Please nobody should beg me abeg, I’m the biggest Actor in Nigeria, and I don’t like rubbish.
“Can you imagine? One Mumu actress is saying that Cee-c and myself will be a great husband and wife, what’s that nonsense?

Censors Board wants next edition of BBNaija held in Nigeria
The National Film and Video Censors Board has said Nigeria has what it takes to host Big Brother Naija in the country.
According to Punch, Executive Director of the Censors Board, Adedayo Thomas, made this known in an interview.
Thomas complained that the show makes “a lot of money” from Nigerians, and so should be produced in the country.
He said:
If it is Big Brother Africa, they can host that anywhere; but the one for Nigeria should be hosted in Nigeria.
Nigeria has what it takes to host the show; after all, there are many multinational/telecommunication companies hitherto operating hitch-free in the country.
If the organisers are talking about lack of available infrastructure as an excuse, then how is MTN operating successfully 24/7 in this same country?
If MTN, a similar South African company, has been surviving in this country, then I don’t think anybody has an excuse for not hosting BBNaija in Nigeria.
They are making a lot of money from Nigerians here, so, we want them to host it here.
He also addressed the issue of the show airing adult content. It’s rated 18, he said, and parents should restrict their kids from watching it.
He said:
A couple of the scenes are adult content and that is where parental guidance comes in.
Parents can always block the watching of some scenes within a particular period or in totality.
It is not government’s responsibility to assume the parental roles of moral upbringing of children in their homes.
A South African pastor has led his congregation to tears after he allegedly turned water to petrol during one of their services – one Prophet Jacob is currently trending online after it was revealed that he made water turn to petrol in his Church.
According to a post shared on Facebook, the pastor had asked his members to bring bottles of water to church and asked those who believed that he could turned to waters to petrol, to come forward to altar so he could perform the miracle.
After praying ‘militantly’ and ‘instantly’, the colour and the smell of the water changed to petrol and this led the congregation to tears.

Virtually everyone who spotted the self-driving vehicle in Lagos thought it to be surreal…
…some say it was a magic trick, some took it to the spiritual realm as they felt it was a spirit driving it as someone was heard in the video clip which was shared, saying “Na spirit dey inside“.
There certainly were mixed reactions when some Nigerians spotted a self-driving car in Lagos for the very first time…
… as seen in the video shared, some couldn’t help peeping through the car window to see whether or not someone was indeed driving the car.
