The family and friends of a newly wed Nigerian lady identified simply as Nana have been left to mourn following her tragic and untimely death recently.
The deceased passed away on Sunday following injuries she sustained after a fire outbreak at her home.
It was gathered that Nana got married on Saturday, 10/03/2018 and their home caught fire three days later, 13/03/2018.
She was however rushed to the hospital where she was treated by medical personnel before she gave up the ghost yesterday.
Friends of the couple have taken to social media to mourn her.
Earlier, a groomsman had lost his life after the newly married couple and their families were involved in a tragic accident at Jakande, Lekki Epe Expressway on Sunday, March 18 afternoon.
According to an eyewitness, the couple and their groomsmen were returning from church when the car they were travelling in lost control and somersaulted about three times.
The eyewitness further confirmed that one of the groomsmen died on the spot.
“The couple were completely distraught. The groom was wailing while the bride was just rolling on the hot tarmac in her wedding gown,” the eyewitness said.
The eyewitness also stated one person “deemed it fit to reach into the blood soaked car and pilfer the purse of one of the occupants that was lying unconscious. He was caught thankfully.”

This was the statement that converted me from a bubbly university third year student with boyfriend troubles into a stressed out full-time bag maker with monthly sales figures regularly entering 7 digits. I heard it from so many people when I used to upload photos of my former craft hobby on Instagram, and soon I convinced myself that it was worth taking a risk, so I took a deep breath and deleted all my ex-boyfriend’s photos from my Instagram. From now on, I decided, I would only upload pictures of my bags and maybe, just maybe someone out there would be generous enough to pay me some tintinrin money for one of them.
As it turned out, there were quite a number of people who wanted to pay my tintinrin money, starting from my hallmates, to the girls in my faculty, in fact; the whole school, then outside school and orders from Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, even Makurdi of all places. Someone in Makurdi saw my bags on Instagram and actually paid to have one delivered all the way from Benin. A few people suggested that I open a website for my bags and turn this booming Instagram hustle into a legit business, but I wasn’t really interested. Business was just fine, I was making enough money to even send pocket money to my sisters in boarding school, and I kuku didn’t want those government people to notice me and then start disturbing me for tax or one thing like that.

The trouble began when I woke up one morning and started seeing people uploading Instagram captions saying “Please turn on my notifications so you can see my posts”. Hehn? Wetin be dis? At first I too joined the “Please turn on my post notifications” bandwagon, but it didn’t work. The sales figures just kept falling after each trial. From thinking seriously about employing more hands, I was suddenly struggling to get enough orders to pay my bills. I tried all the social media tricks I could think of, including uploading photos on Twitter and doing the “Pls Retweet, my customer may be on your timeline” thing, but I ended up getting only a handful of retweets and a few comments saying “Nice work!” and “How much?” followed by radio silence when I responded with the price.

2. K1 De Ultimate discovered his interest in music when he was 8. His parents initially opposed but he continued to pursue his passion and by the time he was 15 he had won various local musical competitions.

4. He released his first solo album ‘Abode Mecca’ in 1979 and then released his most successful album ‘Talazo 84’ in 1984 which became an instant hit.

2018 #BBNaija evicted contestant, Leo Da-Silva has moments ago announced the passing away of his mother, RMO Sanni – the ex-BBN housemate, who left the Big Brother house last week, shared his news on his Instagram.
Leo shared a photo of his late mother, while revealing that he lost his mother earlier today and had to bury according to her Muslim rights.
He then eulogizes her as he wrote,
March 18, 2018. The worst day of my life. I lost my mother and I had to bury my mother today according to her Muslim rights. I remember the day of the Big brother auditions, you forced me to go, you said “you can win it for your business”. You said so far I’m myself, they will adore me. You set the pace for my life. You gave me everything. Today I felt like I could not breathe. Your legacy is that of the greatest woman I have ever known. Rest in peace Alhaja RMO Sanni. Rest in peace legend. Thank you for everything. Till we meet again. Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this ordeal. I’m sorry I couldn’t pick calls.

Recall Leo spoke with Sunday Scoop, and he’s revealed that his mother encouraged him to partake in the 2018 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality tv show.
“I do not feel bad that I was evicted from the Big Brother Naija House. I went on the platform so that I could put my business out there and I think I was able to do that. I provide services for people and the more I’m known, the better for my business.
That was the reason my mum made me to go for the audition. If I was able to win the grand prize, it would have been a big bonusbut I am not disappointed; that’s how God wanted it to be. I was the only one in the house who didn’t unpack his luggage because I knew that I could live at any time. I just wanted to sell the real me; I made up my mind not to lose myself because of the money. At the end of it all, my mum was very happy and she said I made her proud.”
After her eviction from the Big Brother house moments ago, in a chat with the Live show’s host, Ebuka, Anto revealed that controversial housemate, Tobi is a childish one before going ahead to say that she can’t date him because of his childish personality.
In course of their chat, she revealed to Ebuka that she’s not promising that she’d date her love interest in the house, Lolu but she’s open for a relationship with him outside the Big Brother house.
She went on to reveal that she feels housemate, Cee-C is jealous of her relationship with Tobi but she then disclaimed that she can’t have a relationship with him because he is childish.
When she was asked about her eviction, Anto said she’d earlier on had the intuition of being evicted and well, it eventually came to pass – Anto came in with the least votes from fans, a total of 5.28% which thereby led to her eviction from the show.
She has the probability of coming back to the house following the new development made by Ebuka in course of the live show – according to Ebuka, viewers have the power of bringing back two of any evicted housemates including Anto.

Miracle took the lead of votes with a percentage of 27.98, while Tobi followed with 16.69, followed by his drama queen, Cee-C with 14.19%, then comes Lolu with 12.8% and Teddy A with 8.41%. Cry baby Alex, follows the singer with 8.19% while the singer’s love interest, BamBam follows with 6.40% which leaves Anto with the least votes, a total of 5.28% thereby leading to her eviction from the show.
Just moments before the eviction of Anto from the show, a shocking revelation by the show’s host, Ebuka was made before the eviction of tonight – according to Ebuka, viewers have the power of bringing back two of any evicted housemates including the one, (Anto) evicted tonight.
So this means any two out of Vandora, Princess, Leo, Ifu Ennada, Dee-One, Bitto, Princess and Angel could be reinstated back to the Big Brother house.

We’re not sure if the reinstatement is applicable to disqualified housemates, Khloe and K-Brule but we know for sure, according to Biggie, that we’ll be seeing two of the housemates we thought had gone for good.
Alex, Anto, Bam Bam, Cee-C, Teddy A, Miracle, Lolu, Teddy-A, Tobi were the housemates put up for eviction this week and after voting from their fans, ANTO has eventually been evicted from the Big Brother house.
ANTO had the least number of votes from fans, leading to her eviction from the Big Brother house – the Live show’s host, Ebuka Uchendu announced ANTO’s eviction after putting the rest of the housemate who were up for eviction in suspense.
Meanwhile, Big Brother Naija: See Gobbe housemate, Somadina Anyama better known simply as Soma, has shared that he believes the current set of housemates do not match up to the standards set by him and his fellow housemates from the penultimate season.
In a chat with Hip TV, Soma made sure to commend the current housemates – saying they’re entertaining and all – but then, went on to state that there is an obvious contrast and anyone who followed the show from last year can tell.
He further went on to reveal what he’s been up to since the big brother house – according to him, he has major plans for 2018 as he’s part of the cast of the sixth season of MTV Base series, Shuga, he revealed he just signed up with an international modelling agency, he’s about to release a new single…
As the live eviction is being held currently, Big Brother housemate, Tobi was close to being disqualified from the house moments ago but was issued a strike instead.
This comes after his misdemeanor in the house in the previous week – the banker had ignored Biggie’s call to the diary room and as if that wasn’t misbehaviour enough, he was linked to a conspiracy in the house when he told fellow housemates, Anto and Lolu to vote out his drama queen housemate, Cee-C.
Before the live show, Biggie had played a footage of Tobi talking with Anto and Lolu where he supposedly told the pair to put Cee-C up for eviction – Biggie gave him a chance to explain himself and he did saying he was not referring to Cee-C but Ahneeka.
This caused Big Brother, following Tobi’s misdemeanor to issue him a strike making it a total of two strikes… Should he misbehave one more time, he sure would be living the big brother house.
The live show is still on and in few moments, one of these housemates will be evicted from the Big Brother house – Alex, Anto, Bam Bam, Cee-C, Teddy A, Lolu, Teddy-A, Tobi.

Wizkid says he had a family emergency during the day of the shoot, and he could in no way meet up.
Wizkid also revealed the video for SOCO will be dropping by MONDAY!
He didn’t just stop there, he also says his parents just found out he birthed a third son recently, and his mum’s reaction was priceless.. He says his mother wants him to get married, and stick with one woman. Wizkid is 27.
Big Brother 2018 housemates, Tobi and Cee-c have continued their ‘fight.’
A week ago, the two housemates were caught seriously exchanging words immediately after their Saturday night party.
Tobi had even accused Cee-c of grabbing his manhood.
This quarrel, which now seems like a weekly trend, continued after the housemates had their party yesterday.
Tobi approached Cee-c after the party, accusing her of acting like a bitch.
He said Cee-c had “shown me attitude during the SamVita challenge.”
“You have been acting as if we can exist without being friends.
“We must not be cool. You can mind your business and I mine.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with you. If you don’t want us to be cool, I’m fine with it.”
Later, Tobi was seen reporting Cee-c to Alex, Anto and Rico.
This angered Cee-c who, raising her voice and pointing at Tobi, accused him of gossiping and taking her matter to housemates who, according to her “do not like her.”
“You must stop it,” she shouted, charging at Tobi.
“Do you think those people you are talking to like you?
“Don’t you ever! Never in your life will you take my name to those people.
“Do you want me to tell you all they have been saying about you?”
“Whatever we’ve had is now in the past. Let us exist like just housemates.”
Alex of course then reacted, and told them their fights after every Saturday night party, is now becoming boring and exhausting.
