Prince Harry has reportedly invited two of his ex-girlfriends to his wedding which will hold on May 19.

The prince, who’s set to marry actress Meghan Markle, added both Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy to his exclusive guest list. He has stayed friends with both women over the years even after they broke up.

A friend of Harry’s told Daily Mail: “Harry has stayed good friends with Chelsy and Cressida, so they will be there. He made sure there were no hard feelings when they split up. I don’t think Meghan will mind.”

Harry started dating Zimbabwean-born Chelsy when she was a teenager at boarding school in England. They got together again after meeting in Cape Town when Harry visited on his gap year. They dated on-and-off for 7 years before splitting for good in 2011. He stayed friends with the trained lawyer.

After one year, Harry began dating actress and model Cressida after they were introduced by Princess Eugenie. They dated for two years before they broke up. Cressida and Princess Eugenie remain good friends and Eugenie invited her to her autumn wedding.

Meghan, on the other hand, isn’t thought to be bringing along her ex-husband Trevor Engleson to the ceremony. The film producer’s marriage to Meghan ended after two years. Trevor cashed in on his eight-year relationship to Meghan and is set to make a new TV show about an American divorcee who marries into the British royal family.

Akinyemi Edgar Koja, a bricklayer, who had been on the run after allegedly strangling his wife , Ajoke, to death in their apartment in Agemowo area of Badagry, last December, has been arrested by the Police in Lagos.

According to Vanguard, he was picked around Lagos Island , where he took refuge since the incident occurred.

However, during interrogation, the suspect stated that he carried out the act out of jealously, following what he described as his late wife’s adulterous acts.

After killing his 28-year-old wife who was a graduate, he had dumped her corpse inside a well within his area , before taking to his heels. It was gathered that there had been a lingering quarrel between the couple until the unexpected occurred.

Explaining how she was killed , the suspect said: “ I strangled her at night while she was sleeping. She was sleeping around with other men because she felt I am a poor man and she did not hide it. That fateful night, I suffocated her with pillows.

When I discovered she was dead, I dumped the body inside a well close to our apartment . I ran away to make it look like I was not around when the incident happened.

Koja was Tuesday charged before Magistrate’s Court 12, Ebute Meta, for murder, from where he was remanded in prison custody by the Magistrate, Mrs Bola Folarin Williams, with the case adjourned to March 28 for hearing.

A man has gone to an extreme length to cover his entire body in black tattoos, including inside of his lips and his eyeballs.

Identified as Eli Ink, the 27-year-old tattoo artiste from Brighton, has apparently, undergone a 10-year transformation to turn himself into a walking exhibition of his tats. He usee several coats of black colouring to permanently blacken his skin.

He also implanted huge stretchers in his nose and under his bottom lip as part of his body-modification process. The artist even went as far as dying his eyes to complete the striking look.

“In my opinion, the only person who will only ever understand my transition properly is me. I don’t attempt to describe it to anyone,” he told the Mail Online.

The Federal Government has confirmed that 110 students of the Government Science and Technical College in Dapchi, Yobe State, are so far unaccounted for, after insurgents believed to be from a faction of Boko Haram invaded their school on Monday 19 Feb. 2018).

A statement from the office of the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, says the Minister announced the figure after a meeting between a Federal Government Delegation and representatives of key stakeholders, including the state government, the college, the parents, security agencies and Bursari local government, where Dapchi is situated, in Damaturu today February 25th.

He said, based on the briefings from the Principal of the College, Hajia Adama Abdulkarim, and the state Commissioner for Education, Hon. Mohammed Lami, 906 students – out of whom 110 have not been accounted for – were in the school on the day of the attack.

Alhaji Mohammed also announced that the Federal Government has directed the police and civil defence authorities in Yobe State to immediately deploy their personnel to all the schools in the state in order to ensure the security and safety of the students and their
staffers.

The Minister disclosed that the Federal Government has stepped up efforts to rescue the girls and return them safely to their parents, saying the security agencies are working on many leads regarding the whereabouts of the girls.

This is the second time in four days that a Federal Government delegation would visit Yobe State since the unfortunate incident. This is a measure of the seriousness with which we are addressing the issue. The security forces are leaving no stone unturned in their search for the girls.

We are back here in Yobe as part of efforts to provide some succour to the parents of the girls, to let them know that they are not alone and also to reassure them that we will not rest until we have found the girls. We will carry the parents along on the efforts we are making,” he said

For his part, the Minister of Interior said the delegation embarked on the trip in order to get the facts right “so that the approach to the solution can be correct”.

“We must get back the girls and also ensure that this does not happen again,” he said.

The Federal Government delegation, which comprised the Ministers of Information and Culture as well as that of Interior, Lt.-Gen.
Abdulrahman Dambazau (retired), held an enlarged meeting that was attended by Governor Ibrahim Geidam of Yobe State; members of the state cabinet, the Principal and Vice Principal of the school, representatives of the parents of the missing girls and security agencies, among others.

President Buhari will soon address Nigeria on his plans to run for presidency for a second term or not.

Governor of Imo state and Chairman of the APC Governors forun, Rochas Okorocha, disclosed this while speaking to state house correspondents after the Council of State meeting in Abuja last week.

Okorocha said he hopes that President Buhari’s decision will be favorable as himself and the APC governors believe Nigeria will be better for it if President Buhari continues in office.

“We discussed so many issues that affect the nation, our party and Mr President’s ambition to run for 2019 elections. Anyhow, Mr President in his usual manner has requested that we give him time and that he will address the nation and the caucus of the party very soon. So we should be full of expectations that Mr President will make officially known to Nigerians his intentions. But we hope that his response will be in line with what the governors are thinking. We believe that if he continues Nigeria will be better for it.” he said

A First year student of the Sang’alo Institute of Science and Technology, Simon Wamalwa stabbed his girlfriend, Mildred Wanyonyi to death during a quarrel.

The police in Bungoma, Kenya are currently investigating the incident, as according to witnesses, the couple were living together in the same room, in a hostel outside of their campus. They gained admission into the institution eary this year.

A student of the school, identified as Sylvia Udoto, said that the boyfriend, had accused his girlfriend, Mildred of having a “sugar daddy” who was spoiling her with cash gifts.

The student claimed the two engaged in a quarrel, which led to a physical altercation, and led to the death of the female student.

“Wamalwa had claimed that his girlfriend had acquired a ‘sponsor’ who was pampering her with gifts. The girlfriend denied and a quarrel ensued and he stabbed her several times,” she said.

Wanyonyi is later said to have turned the knife on himself in an attempt to commit suicide but was rushed by his colleagues to hospital.

Another student, Sylvester Odhiambo, said they heard a commotion in one of the rooms followed by screams and rushed to the scene.

Odhiambo said on arriving at the scene, they found that Wanyonyi had stabbed his girlfriend and was lying in a pool of blood.

He said they noticed that she heard several stab wounds on her body and was lying lifeless in the room while Wanyonyi was writhing in pain.

“We heard noises coming from one of the rental houses that hosts students and when we got there we saw that the girls had been stabbed severally and was lying unconscious,” he said.

Wamalwa is currently receiving treatment at the Bungoma County Referral Hospital while the body has been taken to the hospital’s mortuary.

Confirming the incident, Bungoma South OCPD, David Kirui, said investigations were ongoing and the suspect will be arraigned in court soon.

Kirui said the officers were informed of the 4pm incident and were called in to handle the situation. He said Mildred was found lying unconscious on the bed while the suspect was lying on the floor.

“We received a report on the incident in Sang’alo and police were called in and found the suspect lying on the floor in a pool of blood while Mildred was on the bed. They were both rushed to Bungoma County Referal Hospital where Mildred was pronounced dead on arrival,” he said.
