Actress Inem Peter

Actress Inem Peter is one of the beautiful, budding actresses gradually taking over the television screens with her alluring looks and killer curves.

She is well known on social media for her strong taste for skimpy and skin-tight clothes that leave her massive hips and backside on display.

Actress Inem Peter

The light skinned script interpreter told Inside Nollywood that 2017 is her best year so far, but also wants more to life than just a soaring career; she wants a rich, tall successful man for marriage.

According to her ‘’2017 has been wonderful. It has been very good. Movies, back to back. I can boldly say, it’s my best career year. I was in the same movie with top actors I have always admired. The likes of John Dumelo, Wole Ojo, Jibola Dabo, Mike Godson, Frederick Leonard. It was such a wonderful experience, and really a big deal for me.

Actress Inem Peter

“Well, aside that, I’m still very single and searching and I like flaunting my backside on social media because that’s what my mother gave me.

I would like to settle down soon, but my ideal man for marriage must be rich, physically attractive, God-fearing and hardworking. And yes, he must be tall, to compliment me because I’m just 5ft 6 inches tall.”

I didn’t beat my ex wife- Daddyfreeze says, as also takes swipe at Apostle Johnson Suleiman

Daddy Frz

OAP Daddy freeze is relentless in his agitation over tithes and offering collections demanded by some churches.

Daddy Freeze

Now if you didn’t get the gist, Freeze released a video of Pastor Adebayo demanding for a billion naira to complete a church project ,this footage was from some years back, and he released it in line with backing his claim that churches in Nigeria were more concerned in amassing wealth for their founder instead of saving souls.

Over the week, Senior Pastor of Kingsway Internatonal Christain Centre (KICC), Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo called Daddy Freeze a “yoyo”, and accused him of beating up his wife and son, while preaching about tithe.

Although Freeze initially replied the cleric, read here,

The OAP has now come out to refute the allegation that he beat up his wife, here’s what he posted on IG, with the caption written below:

Daddy Frz

I heard that even the ‘otobolizer’ himself ‘daddy come and eat’ took a swipe at my personal life, from what moral grounds if i may ask?

All this is a smoke screen to make the waters murky and avoid the question at hand which still stands firmly, unshaken!

WHERE IN THE BIBLE DID JESUS OUR HIGH PRIEST, OR THE DISCIPLES, OUR FIRST PASTORS COLLECT TITHE? ~FRZ

#FreeTheSheeple

He seemingly took a subtle shade at Omega Fire Ministries’ Apostle Johnson Suleiman with the term ‘otobolizer’ (Refrencing the scandal the Apostle was embrioled in earlier this year) , and this cannot be unconnected with the report that Apostle Johnson Suleiman revealed that he’d increased his tithe to 30% and that devil should go and die … LOL .. “I just increased my tithe to 30%… Satan, go and die” — Apostle Suleman

The President of the Omega Fire Ministries worldwide (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has declared that he just increased the percentage of his tithes to 30%, and Satan can go and die.

Below is what he wrote on his verified Twitter page;

Recall Suleman veered into the controversy on tithe, anchored by media personality, Daddy Freeze.

Apostle Suleman backing Adeboye on his statement earlier on tithe warned OAP Freeze to stay off preaching and stick to his field, adding that tithe and offering were not used to buy expensive jets.

Earlier, Pastor Adeboye advised Christians on the dangers attached to none compliance to paying of tithe.

The general overseer stressed that he veered into the controversy because Pastor Adeboye spoke about it, adding that OAP Freeze does not deserve a response.

“Let it be clear that if anyone is not a pastor, he has no right to attack a pastor on church issue. He should leave everything to God. I only laugh.

“Somebody who is not a doctor cannot teach a certified doctor how to go about doing his job; he will just be laughed at. Someone who is not a journalist can’t teach a true journalist how he should do his work; they will just be laughing at him.

“I wouldn’t have spoken on the issue but you don’t argue with a man whose mind is already made up on any issue. It is futile. And I’m not going to confuse anybody to pay tithe, no. if you attend my church and you decide not to pay tithe, it’s left to you. In my church they don’t pay me allowance. I live on my personal businesses and I write books. So far, I have written 52 books that are inspirational and I’m still writing. If you write books that are inspirational, believers and non-believers will buy.

“It is not as if it is only church members that buy pastors’ books. That alone is enough to sustain any pastor. So, you don’t just jump to criticize any pastor for buying private jets of expensive cars because you think it is tithe that they use to buy them.

“If you asked me, there is nothing wrong with tithing. But tithes should be used by pastors to maintain Christianity, assist the poor in the church, the vulnerable and the stranded. Not that everything should go into the pastor’s pocket, that’s wrong. Every pastor should be on allowance.

“That young man does not deserve a response; in fact, I’m not talking because of him but because my Papa, Pastor Adeboye had spoken, I’m speaking on the issue. Now, if it requires that we go into a debate, let’s have it. Yes, your tithe is not a license to make heaven but it is an acknowledgment of God’s mercy in your life. But because Papa Adeboye corrected the wrong notion and the young man dared to respond to him, I felt it was insulting. This is not about sentiment or emotion, it is about commonsense. You don’t respond to an elder in certain manner, especially a man of Pastor Adeboye’s standing.

“There are things people shouldn’t just dabble into especially when it is not their field. Even if you mobilize the whole world against tithing, you will only end up being counterproductive because this is not your field. Men of God do not need to react to such issues because like I said earlier, once somebody has made up his mind on a position, nobody should argue with such a man. My reaction to such a man is, if that is your position, keep it, continue with what you believe but don’t confuse people to believe what you believe.”

It’s okay if they reject you. Someone’s praying to have you -Couple’s pre-wedding photos steal hearts

Relationship expert, Solomon Buchi Bartholomew shared some beautiful photos on Facebook to inspire those with low-self esteem,

Solomon Buchi Bartholomew

He wrote;

Always remember that you’re someone’s choice; just the way you are, without editing or recreation. You’re everything someone needs, and your flaws will be beautiful to them. Never for a moment regret how you look, or the natural features you came with.
People will make jest of your big nose, small ear, short nature, fat body, but believe me when I say your flaws beautify you. To feel bad about them is to feel bad about your selling point.
Cool. Some folks don’t like it. But there’s someone who’d die for you for just the same reason others left you.
Build your esteem with your own words of value. You’re beautiful. Deserving of love. Enough. And someone’s choice.
It’s okay if they reject you. Someone’s praying to have you.

“I have never been that disrespected before,” — Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are reacts to hitting Tekno in Dubai

Sunday Are reacts

Wizkid’s Manager, Sunday Are is finally speaking on the scuffle he had with Triple MG Artiste, Tekno at the One Music Festival held in Dubai.

Wzkid and Sunday Are.

Recall many days back, there were reports of a violent clash between Wizkid and Davio, and many witnessess present at the festival gave different versions of the event that transpired.

Recall later, there were also reports that the scuffle began after Tekno “disrespected” Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are by offering him a handshake rather than prostrating…

Davido.

Wizkid’s manager, Sunday reportedly got pissed by “the handshake offer”, and then proeeded to punch Tekno. Davido who was present at the event then heard of the assault, then rushed to Tekno’s defense, this of course triggered the viral fight between his team and Wizkid’s.

Tekno

To confirm this version of events, Davido took to his twitter to write;

Now, in a new interview with PUNCH, Sunday Are is addressing the whole drama… though he didn’t explain how tekno disrespected him, but then he said no artiste had ever disrespected him the way Tekno did.

Asked why he doesn’t want to say what exactly Tekno did to disrespect him, he said it is “because if I speak, the industry would not be happy about what happened.”

Wizkid

However, he wishes the young star well in his endeavours. Read what he told Punch:

“Initially I did not want to say anything about the issue I had with Tekno at the One Africa Music Fest because if I speak, the industry would not be happy about what happened. I just want to be silent on the matter because what actually happened was more or less like the quarrel of a father and son in the house. When a father has a problem with his child in a house, that is when the child will do something that is not good, you scold him and it ends there.

“What people have been reading was not actually what happened. When these young boys in the industry act sometimes, it makes me remember the Yoruba proverb which says, ‘a child can have as many clothes as an elder but he can never have as many rags as the elder.’

“Also, what an elderly person sees while seated, a child cannot see it even if he climbs a skyscraper. With all due respect to every artiste in Nigeria both old and young, what happened on that day has never happened before. No artiste in Nigeria has ever disrespected me.”

“Every artiste in this country knows that I am always there for them and I also try my best not to disrespect any one of them.”

“They can all testify to this. I always wish every music artiste the best because I stand for African entertainment. I have always wished them the best including Tekno; my happiness is for him to grow higher than he is today.”

2019 PRESIDENCY : I will definitely beat Buhari – Atiku declares

2019 PRESIDENCY

Atiku who recently announced his withdrawal from the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing a lack of internal democracy and failure to fulfil electoral promises, is yet to announce on what platform he would be contesting the election but has hinted at joining the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

In an interview conducted by Ovation magazine boss, Chief Dele Momodu, the former vice president expressed confidence in his chances of defeating the possibly more popular Buhari at the polls.

I will definitely beat him this time. He has wasted a lot of his massive goodwill. A lot of people are disgruntled but keeping quiet and lying low. Our youths are suffering terribly and now they are being sold into slavery. Everyone knows my track record of inviting and attracting a good team and giving them the opportunity to work professionally. Nigerians are tired of leaders who cannot think big and work big,” Atiku said.

When asked if he was sure of getting the PDP presidential ticket, Atiku dismissed all other aspirants in the opposition party as neophytes who had failed to garner a nationwide following.

Nothing is absolutely certain in this life, but PDP needs a candidate with the brightest chance and that can only come from someone who has major experience, exposure, knowledge about running an economy, who is a Nationalist and not a sectionalist and whose brand cannot be intimidated in anyway by that of the current President. If PDP picks a weak candidate, then the Party is doomed. Some of those whose names are being touted and bandied about have not grown beyond their immediate domains,” Atiku said.

The former vice-president in the same vein challenged anyone with facts about his alleged involvement in corruption while he served as vice-president to come forward with the details. He similarly told The Boss, owned by Momodu, that he was not afraid of travelling to the United States of America (USA) but had merely been denied a visa, a decision he said was not peculiar to him, citing Buhari and current Indian Prime Minister, Modi, as persons who had suffered the same fate in the past.

Lady lodged in a hotel by a married man for 5 days and was going for shopping after multiple non-consensual sex, threatens to sue him for rape

File photo for illustrative purpose.

Yesterday, a Facebook user, E. Onoriode, shared a post on his page enlightening Nigerians about rape and how the Nigerian law treats rape cases.

A lady who read his post reached out to him asking if she can sue a man she met on facebook. The said man had invited her to see him in Abuja.

On getting to the hotel, he disclosed to her that he was married. She asked him to leave the hotel immediately and return to his wife because she does not like getting involved with married men.

The man said he had already told his wife that he was going for a seminar. They both stayed in the hotel. When he was to have sex with her, she refused but later allowed him because he threatened her. This continued for the days she stayed with him in the hotel and after every sex, he would take her out for shopping. She said she couldn’t return to her base in Port Harcourt because she had no money on her. She is now asking if she can sue him for rape.

Read her story as shared by Onoriode below

Based on my yesterday post on rape, a girl inboxed me to know if she can sue a man for rape because according to her story, she didn’t consent to the sex.

Read our chat.

“She: “Good evening sir, pls, I read ur update abt rape and it got me so confused. I will like to knw if I can sue for rape if a man forced his way to have sex with me without my consent? ”

Me: “Yes, you can sue for rape if a man force his way on you without your consent”

She: “Thank u sir. Can I explain wht really happen to me so that u can advise me on how to go abt it?”

Me: “You’re free and I’m reading.”

Me: “Should in case I stopped replying you as we’re chatting, just know that I’m busy. I will attend to your messages once I’m less busy.”

She: “Ok. No problem sir”

She: “Abt four months ago, I met a guy on Facebook and we became close friends. He was a very nice guy to me all throughout the period of our online relationship”

Me: “…..he ‘WAS’ a very nice guy to you… That means he stopped being nice to during or after the relationship?”

She: “Hmmmm let me finish the story. You will understand what I mean.”

Me: “It’s ok. I’m reading”

She: “Somehow I and the guy started dating and exchanging nude pictures and we also had phone sex on several occasions. The guy is based in Abuja while am based in PH.”

She: “One day, he invited me to see him at Abuja where he’s based, that’s after about four months of our online relationship. He paid for my flight ticket frm PH to Abuja.”

Me: “Wow! This is getting interesting. Before you left PH for Abuja, was there any agreement between the two of you?”

She: “I don’t understand sir”

Me: ” I mean before you traveled to Abuja, did you guys discuss anything about sex or was the visit a mutual visit?”

She: “Yes, we do have phone sex and he always tell me how he will handle me if we see. Truth is that I know he wants to have sex with me that’s why he invited me to Abuja. And I do wish same too. But what happen was that when I got to Abuja, he lodged me in an hotel. I became worried because that’s not what we agreed before I left PH. I then asked him why he lodged me in an hotel instead of taking me to his house. That’s when I realized he’s a married man. I became so disappointed and angry. We quarried seriously that day for concealing his marital status to me. He begged me seriously to forgive him but I was too angry to look at his face. The whole love I have for him died immediately. Sir, I have not dated a married man in my life and I never wished to date one. But I was surprise he didn’t tell me he was married until that day.”

Me: “So all through the four months of your relationship with this man, you didn’t ask him of his relationship status?”

She: “I’ve asked him severally but he always ignore the question with various excuses that am too inquisitive”

Me: “So what happened in the hotel”

She : “That day at the hotel when I discovered he’s married, he told me he told his wife that he’s traveling to Lagos for five days seminar. That means he want to spend the five days with me in the hotel. I became more angry because if am in his wife shoes, I won’t be happy that another woman is spending time with my husband in an hotel room. So I told him to go back home to his wife but he refused that he had already paid for the hotel room for five days and he had packed his luggage’s to be with me for five days and that he can’t go home until after five days”

Me: ” I’m still here reading. Just continue.”

She : “Ok. So that night, after taking my bath, as I was applying cream on my body, he came to me that he want to have sex with me but I refused and we argued about it till mid night. When he realized I was serious, he respected my decision and went to bed angrily. The following day, he took me out for shopping to clam me down but I was still angry with him. In the evening, he told me he want to share the bathroom with me and I refused. He went to the bathroom and took his bath alone. After I had taken my own bath, immediately I stepped out of the bathroom, he grabbed me, and told me he will break my hand if I don’t allow him to have his way. I was so scared due to rge look in his eyes. His behavior was frightening so I allowed him have his way. As he was having sex with me, I kept begging him to stop but he refused. Truth is that, I didn’t consent to the sex but he forced his way and raped me. I bruised seriously in my vagina. I was crying when he was on me but he didn’t stop. That night, I wasn’t myself.”

Me: “So what action did you take after that incident? ”

She: “I couldn’t do anything because I don’t know anywhere in Abuja. Though, he apologized to me that night but he still repeated it again in the morning. And that was how he kept raping me till I left for PH”

Me: “So during this period where he was raping you, were you tied in the hotel room? Did you have access outside the hotel room? Why did you remain in the hotel with your rapist? Who did you inform in the hotel that you’re being raped by one of their customer? Who paid for your TF back to PH?”

She: “Am confused sir. Actually, I have access outside the hotel and I do go to the pool daily to swim and we go out to the supermarket on few occasions together to buy things. But why I remained in the hotel was because I don’t know anybody in Abuja and I don’t have TF to take me back to PH from Abuja”

Me: “I’d tell you the truth, as long as we are in Nigeria, you can file for rape if you so wish but if what you told me is what you’d tell your lawyer or Police, you won’t win the case. In fact, the Police and lawyers will laugh at you. This is because you claimed the man raped you yet, you remained with your rapist in the same hotel room for days for him to keep raping you. You can’t tell me that in that hotel, there’s nobody to complain to. Yet, you kept quiet and remained in the hotel with him even though you’re not tied or locked in the room. You have free access to and fro the hotel yet, you still went back to the room to meet your rapist.

My advise is that you should learn from this incident because you don’t have a genuine case. That’s the painful truth”

A heated argument ensued in the comment section, read some of the responses below:

“I don’t have a single regret leaving my children and husband of 23 years” — UK Woman Who Left Her 9 Children To Meet With Her African Toyboy Speaks Out

A 44-year-old mother of nine, Heidi Hepworth says she doesn’t regret leaving her children for Gambian toyboy, Salieu Jallow, and nothing will stop her from marrying him.

Last month Heidi’s heartbroken husband Andy, also 44, spoke of his horror at discovering his wife of 23 years had gone off to meet Salieu, who had contacted her on Facebook from The Gambia, West Africa.

Her decision sparked a police investigation and Andy said: “It’s a mid-life crisis. The person she has become is horrible.

“A caring mum wouldn’t go off gallivanting around Africa with her new boyfriend.” Now, speaking exclusively to The Sun, Heidi has defended her actions, saying: “I don’t have a single regret. I’m not a terrible parent.

“It was really hard for me to leave my kids, but they couldn’t come with me so I had no choice. “I was shocked at the anger that was directed at me for supposedly abandoning my children. That just didn’t happen.”

Heidi has two sons and a daughter aged 24 to 29 from a previous relationship. She and Andy have three daughters aged six, nine and 23 and three sons aged 11, 17 and 18.

She added: “The three youngest were left with my eldest daughter. She moved into my home while I was away so that they were disrupted as little as possible. “I went online every night and we video-chatted. They seemed happy and I know my kids well.

“They also chatted to Salieu and have become very fond of him through talking online over the past few months. “If people think I went over to The Gambia and didn’t give them a second thought, they are so wrong.

But having said that, I make no apologies for following my heart. I’ve been unhappy for a long time and I think I have found someone to spend the rest of my life with. “We are in love and nothing will stop me from marrying him. If other people don’t like that they will just have to lump it.”

Heidi Hepworth ditched husband Andy (pictured together), for Mamadou Jallow from Gambia after she started talking to strangers online.

Fellow Nigerians abducted, sold us into slavery in Libya — Returnees

In the midst of the uproar over revelations that Libyan nationals are buying and selling migrants as slaves in Libya, Saturday PUNCH has learnt that Nigerians based in the country also sell their fellow countrymen.

This emerged as more Nigerians are repatriated by the International Organisation for Migration with the backing of the European Union in an ongoing exercise that has seen 1,295 retrieved from Libya in November alone.

Since the beginning of 2017, IOM-facilitated repatriation has brought back 5,578 Nigerian migrants, who were trapped in and outside prisons across Libya.

On Thursday night, 150 migrants from mostly Edo and Delta states arrived the country aboard a Buraq Airplane at the cargo terminal of the Murtala International Airport, Lagos. It was two days after 239 migrants had also been brought into the country.

Many of the returnees, who were thankful for being back, confirmed to Saturday PUNCH that they were sold by their fellow countrymen, who were getting rich in Libya.

One of them, 26-year-old Odion Saliu, a hairdresser from Edo State, said she was kidnapped and handed over to a Nigerian, who forced her to call her mother.

According to her, her mother in Benin paid N200, 000 but she was again sold by the same Nigerian for 3,000 dinars (about N794, 000).

Saliu explained that the Nigerians spoke Pidgin English and some Nigerian languages.

She said, “When I was kidnapped with others and held for some weeks, the Arabs asked if I wanted to be taken to a Nigerian and I readily said yes. I was very happy that I was going to someone from my country. But it was a lie.

“The Nigerian they took me to locked me in a cell and told me to call my mother and ask for N60, 000. The man said he would sell me to a connection house if my family did not get the money. I called to inform my mother and the trafficker who facilitated my journey from Nigeria.

“But the trafficker spoke with them on the phone and told them the amount they demanded was too small. They increased it to N200, 000. My mother paid into an account after they provided her with the account number over the phone.

“The Nigerian said if I wanted to cross the sea, I had to pay him again. But when we got to the seaside, he sold me again.”

Another Edo State indigene, Sunday Anyaegbunam, left Nigeria along with his wife in April.

He said during their nine-day journey through the desert, they were sold twice by Nigerians.

According to him, when their Nigerian “burger” (trafficker) sold them to another set of Libyan traffickers at Agadez, Niger, the traffickers sold him and his wife to a Nigerian who took them to Sabha, Libya, where they were separated in different cells.

“We were made to contact our families on the phone and I had to ensure the payment of N400, 000 for my release and N300, 000 for my wife,” Anyaegbunam said.

Like others, he could only identify the Nigerians trading in their countrymen in Libya through the Nigerian languages they spoke and their accent.

He said, “The Nigerians selling people in Libya are more wicked than many of the Arabs. I have never seen people so heartless as the Nigerians who bought and sold me.

“There are many of them in Agadez and Sabha, who are making so much money from selling their own people. But there are other West Africans doing the business too.

“When you approach them and say, ‘Please, my brother, help me.’ They would tell you, “No brother in the jungle.”

A 25-year-old woman, Esosa Osas, who was in Libya for six months, said she also met many Nigerians selling their countrymen.

“You dare not talk to them, else they would beat you and lock you up. They sell women for 5,000 dinars and men for N4, 000 dinars. I noticed that the connection houses were also controlled by Nigerian women.”

All these accounts were corroborated by 35-year-old Harrison Okotie who lived in Libya for three years until his repatriation.

“Nigerians and Libyans are doing the business like they are one big happy family,” he said.

Most of the migrants who arrived Nigeria on Thursday were from Edo State.

Officials of the state’s task force on illegal migration were on hand with luxurious buses to transport their people back home.

A member of the task force, Mr. Okoduwa Solomon, told Saturday PUNCH that his team had made six such journeys to the airport within the last one month to take their indigenes repatriated from Libya back home.

He said, “The first process is to take them through counselling, then we profile them.

“After that, we put them in a home that the state government has provided for the returnees. The Edo State Government is paying each of the returnees from the state a stipend.

They are going to undergo a training in agriculture, poultry, fishery and others to make them useful to themselves and the system.”

Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency coordinate the reception of the returnees at the airport.South West Zonal Coordinator of the agency, Mr. Yakubu Sulaiman, said the returnees would be lodged in a hotel where they would have the chance to clean up before their journey back home.

Meanwhile, President, Women Arise and Centre for Change, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, has called on the Federal Government to use all diplomatic channels to prevail on the Libyan authorities to ensure the dignity of our people.

She said in a statement on Friday that it was an embarrassment that Nigerians who were treated like royalty in the past were being dehumanised in a foreign land.

“We must build a country where our people have opportunities to prosper and lead useful and productive lives and will only travel on leisure and business and not as illegal migrants desperate to live anywhere other than Nigeria,” she said.

Over 400,000 Nigerians, others still stranded in Libya –AU Commission

Meanwhile, Head, African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, has said that over 400,000 Nigerians and others remain stranded in Libya.

Hundreds of thousands more — “400,000 to 700, 000,” according to Mahamat — remain stranded.

European and African leaders have set themselves a tall order to stamp out horrific abuse of African migrants, some of them are Nigerians in Libya, where thousands are suffering in a vast, lawless territory.

On Thursday, a summit of the African Union and the European Union set a goal of immediately repatriating 3,800 migrants languishing in a camp near Tripoli.

But experts pointed to a daunting array of hurdles, from extracting migrants in perilous situations to giving them incentives to stay put when they return home.

Even so, the summit’s commitment, initiated by outrage over a CNN television report on black Africans being sold as slaves in Libya, is being welcomed.

“It is a step in the right direction,” International Organisation for Migration Europe Director, Eugenio Ambrosi, told Agence France Presse by phone from Brussels.

“It is a little bit too much to think it will solve the slavery issue, but it would definitely mitigate (it) to some extent,” Ambrosi said.

He said the summit also showed there was now “international watchdog pressure” that could be brought to bear on the criminal gangs, but it must be “sustained.”

The drive was announced at a meeting on the summit sidelines organised by French President, Emmanuel Macron.

It brought together eight other EU and African countries as well as the AU, EU and United Nations representatives.

Macron said the UN-backed Libyan government of Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj had identified and granted access to the worst camps to enable the returns of people who want to go home.

The Macron group also decided to work with a task force, involving the sharing of police and intelligence services, to “dismantle the networks and their financing and detain traffickers,” he said.

They pledged to freeze the assets of identified traffickers. The AU is expected to set up an investigative panel and the UN could take cases before the International Court of Justice.

Drama as wife crashes husband’s secret wedding to his mistress

There was a dramatic scene at the Zvishavane Magistrates’ Courts in Zimbabwe, after a woman stormed the court and caught her husband exchanging marital vows with his mistress.

Luckily for the woman, identified as Rudo Pedzisai, her husband, Tendai Gondwa and his mistress, Precious Muzenda had not been officially married when she stormed the court.

According to H-Metro, the groom, Tendai Gondwa, a bureau the changer, left his matrimonial home at midnight purporting to be going to another town, Gwanda, only for his wife to receive a phone call in the morning from an insider, informing her about the private wedding.

“The wife was sleeping at home when she got a private phone call telling her to rush to Zvishavane courts as her husband was about to tie the knot with another woman.

“Rudo tried to dispute what she was hearing as she least expected the news, but the private caller told her to rush there and confirm.

“Without wasting time, she just woke up and hired a taxi which rushed her to the courts and the couple was shocked when she stormed into the courts screaming,” said the source.

It was reported that Pedzisai could not believe her eyes as she found her husband dressed in a suit standing next to the bride.

She then told the magistrate that the groom was her husband and they had children together.

“We are still together and our marriage is still subsisting. He has not yet divorced me and when he left home last night he claimed to be going to Gwanda. I was phoned by a stranger telling me he was at the courts wedding another woman, that is why I rushed here,” said Pedzisai.

The magistrate without wasting time, cancelled the wedding after Pedzisai proved that she was still married to Gondwa.

In his ruling, the magistrate stated that with the facts brought forward, it showed that Gondwa and Pedzisai’s marriage still existed.

The bride, Precious Muzenda, dressed in a white gown cried uncontrollably after her supposed special day turned into a nightmare when magistrate Shepherd Mjanja cancelled the wedding.

Banky W’s wedding did not outshine my wedding – Oritsefemi reacts

The much talked about weddings of two of Nigeria’s artistes, #Oristefemi and #BankyW, has come and gone but the buzz they generated has yet to be over as so many fans still compare the two weddings in terms of class and taste.

Surprisingly, when Saturday Beats reached out to the self-acclaimed music Taliban, Oritsefemi, he said that there was no basis for comparison.

The Double Wahala singer added that his wedding trended on Twitter as such, no one could say that Banky W’s wedding outshined his.

He said,

“Initially, I did not notice that people were comparing my wedding with Banky W’s but later, after the whole ceremony, I noticed it. I did not even know that Banky was getting married on the same day that I did. But to be truthful, I knew that he had a ceremony about a week ago so I thought that was his wedding.

I have no issues with both of us getting married on the same day, if anything; it was more fun because like they say, the more the merrier. I was the one that got married and I am not even doing any form of comparison. All I wanted was to have a classy wedding and I got that at the end of the day.

“My wedding was well attended by highly respected people in the society. I don’t see any comparison because Banky even had his own in South Africa while mine was in Nigeria.

“Banky’s wedding did not outshine mine. Although I did not follow what was happening on the social media, I was told that my wedding trended on Twitter. I feel it was more fun for us that we got married on the same day and we were keeping people busy on the Internet. The Internet almost went crazy for both weddings. I don’t see any problem with it. Entertainers don’t see such as a competition but it is the fans that always start such comparison.

All I know is that both weddings went well, they were classy and it would go down in history as one of the most talked about weddings of 2017. I congratulate Banky W on his wedding and wish him and his bride blessings,” he said.

Teacher dies after flogging student in her class in Anambra State.

Tragedy struck the quiet town of Ogidi in Anambra state on Wednesday, 29th November, 2017 after a teacher died after flogging a student in her class.

According to reporter Eze Amadi, the mother of one 14-year-old Okafor Chinaza, a student of starlight secondary school, Ogidi – fought and killed her daughter’s teacher for flogging her.

According to information gathered: It was said that the student in question was flogged by her Igbo teacher and class mistress earlier in the morning for not sweeping the class according to class roster. When the teacher walked in to teach them, she found out that the class was dirty as she questioned the student why she didn’t carry out her duty. The student allegedly responded in an insulting manner to the teacher according to fellow student’s present in the class room.

In response, the teacher asked her to kneel down before the class but the student reportedly refused as the teacher annoyingly flogged her and she fled the class from the school fence, and ran home.

As at 3:23pm same day, she came back with a lady believed to be her mother and a young man who claimed to be the uncle. According to starlight secondary school security, she refused to introduce herself properly as she forced her way into the school and went to the classroom of the girl to find out that the said teacher had gone for private school teachers meeting same day. She was directed to the Proprietress’ office when they found out she had come for her daughter’s issue with a teacher of the school named Odilinye Rita.

According to the Proprietress, she said that she was with one of her employee named Okamelu Tochukwu (Physics Teacher) when the woman came to her office to vent her anger.

I was in my office with one of my teachers when she came in, after her report and confirmation from the students that the teacher flogged the said Okafor Chinaza, I pleaded with the mother and uncle to allow the school dive into the issue with diplomacy as revenge won’t yield needed result. She had accepted to forget and forgive as I promised her that we will handle the case with ease.

The teacher was believed to be coming back from the private teachers meeting she went to, when she met the student’s people. Upon getting close to them, the student who came with her mother and other relatives, pointed at the teacher to the mother as she rushed to hit her (the teacher) with the stick she had come with. After a while, the teacher collapsed and was rushed to Iyi-Enu Hospital Ogidi where the doctor confirmed her dead moments later.

Currently, the parents and the student are being detained by the police in Ogidi police station.
