Amge was born in Nagpur, Maharashtra in 1993 and took the record after her 18th birthday in 2011.

A Nigerian lady, identified simply as Ifeoma has come out to share her story after she survived Ikeja cantonment bomb blast as a baby, which claimed many lives on 27th of January, 2002.
The event which happened 16 years ago in Ikeja city of Lagos – The unprecedented twin bomb blast, left hundreds dead and many more injured.
Ifeoma was just 4 years old at the time and she survived and back then her photograph made it to the covers of several national newspapers.
She took to her Instagram page to share a video of a newspaper which featured her when she was 4-year-old after surviving the bomb blast.

Meanwhile, the carcass of a whale was been found on a beach in Akwa Ibom State, south south of Nigeria, off the Atlantic Ocean.

Villagers in Okpo Ita, Ibeno local government area of the state, said they saw the dead whale, according to Edem Eniang, a biodiversity conservationist from the University of Uyo.
Some of the villagers had started cutting off the body parts for meat before Mr. Eniang and his team of researchers, and the local authorities got to the scene, several days after it was found.
Mr. Eniang said the carcass is about 16 metres in length.
“I observed that something close to four metres was missing,” Mr. Eniang told PREMIUM TIMES, Wednesday. “That is a part of what was cut off by the villagers.”
A handful of tourists have been attracted to the scene since the news broke out.
Mr. Eniang explained the significance of whales in Nigeria waters.
“There’s an international accord known as Convention on Migratory Species in which Nigeria is a signatory. The essence of the convention is that every signatory country must go out of its ways to provide safe passage to all grazing animals passing through their territory, not to allow them get into harm, not to be killed or exploited. So, by being a signatory to that convention, we have to account for whales and other similar species that pass through our territory.
“Whales are national heritage. In Nigeria, the living whales are our national heritage. The carcasses are our heritage as well.

The Taxify Driver who was accused of an attempted rape and kidnap by actress, Dorcas Fapson, has taken legal action against the actress, and demanded N5 million compensation.
In lawsuit filed by the driver’s lawyers, Chancellor Chambers, he demanded for a public apology from the actress for the libelous publications she made on social media, tagging him as a “Kidnapper” and a “rapist”.
He also demanded to sum of N5 million compensation, over the damage.

As an artiste, you would know you have ‘arrived’ if you have good relationship with the President of your country, but when you know 13 presidents from around the world, then you know that you are on another level.
No doubt music star, Davido, is one of the most influential and sought-after artistes on the continent but things were not always rosy for him. During a chat with MTV Base, the leader of the 30billion gang said that his father was not happy with his career path till he had to prove his worth.
However, he claimed that now, he had reached a level where he could converse with at least 13 presidents.
“When I released the song ‘Back then’, I did not know that it was going to be that big. Then I went back to school and the love that I was shown was overwhelming, let alone the way girls began to treat me.
That one song with the video made my father realise that I had the talent. And then, I did the song, ‘Dami Duro’.
“The song became so big and I remember that the President at the time called my father to talk about me and the song. Even during my father’s business meetings with his friends, they would mention my name and the song.
Before long, I started travelling and doing shows around the world. Now I have the numbers of about 13 presidents on my phone and if I call them, they would answer the call. Then the award came and it set me on another level.”.
Tunde Ednut says he believes Dorcas Fapson is a “Criminal” and a liar, after she accused a Taxify Driver of an alleged Rape & Kidnap attempt.
Recall the actress and a certain Taxify driver, Henry made headlines 3 days back, after the former accused the latter of an attempted rape and kidnap.
The driver, immediately released his side of the story, which apparently shows like a “ride gone wrong”, but then DSF countered his claim, stood her ground, that he tried to kidnap and rape her, then she released video evidences [Watch Here]
Now the thing is, folks are still accusing Dorcas of being a liar even after she released video evidences, they say the evidence shows no sign of an attempted rape or kidnap, instead she just assaulted the driver.
Adekunle Gold weighed in on the drama, and he was seriously bashed, same with Simi.. and now, Tunde Ednut… But tunde isn’t finding it funny, as he feels DSF just made the whole thing up, by playing the victim.
Tunde shared a screenshot of DSF profile, that had “Part-time Crazy Lady” on Her profile, and wrote;
“How did I miss this? It’s on her profile already and una dey believe this kind person? ??? She’s blocking people in my comment section o! So be careful, she might BLOCK you Oo! Who cares anyways? Her profession Sef Na CRIMINAL. See her profile ?… She’s blocking and unblocking me, she has not made up her mind. Aunty, make up your mind o! I don’t know you.”
Singer, Simi has also reacted to Dorcas alleged kidnap/rape issue.. The singer has bashed folks especially ladies who are criticizing Dorcas even after she released evidences, that showed an “alleged attack”.

Simi tagged these set of folks as “people with bullshit mentality”. Here’s what she wrote;
“I don’t know what kind of bullshit mentality will cause someone to watch those videos and decide to talk trash abt Dorcas. I don’t give a shit abt the details that u have a problem with. U’re full of shit. Especially if u’re a chic and decided to bash her. U’re full of shit!”
Then she continued: “I’m not asking anyone not to believe what they want – but nobody was there but the 2 of them. If someone is in trouble, this will only drive them to keep it to themselves. Don’t drag anybody for filth, cos u were not there. It is wrong. Even if don’t want to hear it, it is wrong!”
This is coming after Adekunle Gold aired his own opinion on Twitter, and of course supported Dorcas.. But he has since deleted his tweet.
Gold initially wrote; “When someone narrates their ordeal these days, they get bashed and judged and you wonder why people don’t speak up when they are in trouble? I am reading comments on a blog; people abusing Dorcas for making the story up, other animals saying she’s proly dressed indecently. SMH. What happened to us really?”
Then he deleted the above tweet and shared the below;
A woman has reportedly died of shock after her son’s arrest by some Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad ( FSARS ) operatives.
Mrs Asiata Adeyanju, 42, slumped and died close to her 9, Ajenifuja Street, Ilupeju, Lagos home on Wednesday night. She was said to be hypertensive.
The Nation gathered that the FSARS operatives from Ipakodo Division in Ikorodu, who have been allegedly picking people up in the area in the last two weeks, arrested Muiz, the deceased’s 17-year-old son, when he was about switching on the generator in front of their home.
The operatives, said to be in black vests with the inscription “FSARS”, allegedly slapped Muiz and hurled him into an unmarked van. A neighbour simply identified as Emmanuel, a teacher, was said to have been slapped by the operatives when he tried to stop them from taking the boy away.
By the time Muiz’s parents, who were in their room, learnt of his arrest, the operatives had whisked him away with others arrested at various spots. It was gathered that the late Mrs Adeyanju ran out with only her wrapper and chased the police van.
The Nation learnt that Mrs Adeyanju slumped at a spot. Residents said she died while being rushed to a nearby hospital.
Her widower, Musendiku Adeyanju, who was said to be observing his evening prayer at the time of the incident, later met with the operatives at Ilupeju Junction, off Adesiyan Street, to secure his son’s release. The Nation learnt that Muiz was released after the operatives were told his mother had been rushed to the hospital.
It was gathered that the operatives hurriedly left the area when they learnt of Muiz’s mother’s death. None of those arrested was taken to the police station. They allegedly secured their release at a price.
Describing his encounter with the operatives, Muiz said: “I was pulling the generator’s starter when the policemen grabbed my trousers and asked me to enter the bus. Before I knew what was going on, two of the officers started slapping me. They took me away with some other people I didn’t know. They were moving round the area, picking up people. They wore black shirts with ‘FSARS’ boldly written on them.”
There was wailing on Ajenifuja Street yesterday when Mrs Adeyanju’s body was brought back home. Sympathisers rained curses on the operatives, describing FSARS as “evil organisation”.
Some residents complained that the operatives had been coming to the area for “illegal raids and indiscriminate arrests”.
At his wife’s funeral performed by some Islamic clerics, Mr. Adeyanju, 43, was all tears.
He described his wife’s death as “devastating agony”, wondering what his son’s offence was to warrant his arrest by the FSARS.
He said: “I returned from work around 9:00 p.m., after which my wife served my food. After the dinner, I performed ablution to observe the prayers I missed. I was in the middle of the prayers when there was power outage. My wife instructed Muiz to start the generator in front of the house.
“The boy was arrested by FSARS when he was about to put on the set. I overheard one of my neighbours, Mr. Emmanuel, telling the policemen that the boy lives in the house. I had to break the prayers to attend to the situation. Before I got to the scene, the police van had left the spot. We ran after them but we didn’t see them.
“I was returning home to take my car and search for the police van when I saw my wife at the street junction, gasping. People around rushed her to a hospital. I joined neighbours in search for the police van. We met the FSARS officers at a junction in Ilupeju and I explained to them my wife had collapsed because of my son’s arrest. That was when they released the boy to us. We had barely left that scene when I got a call that my wife had died.”
The deceased’s elder sister, Mrs. Fausat Usman, described her as ‘’a quiet and cool-headed woman.”
She confirmed that the late Mrs. Adeyanju was hypertensive.
Police spokesman Chike Oti, a Superintendent of Police (SP), did not pick this reporter’s calls.
He cut the call after his phone persistently rang last night.
He did not also respond to messages sent to his phone.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said President Muhammadu Buhari is completely focused on governing the country, and not on whether or not he will run in 2019.
The vice president said this while fielding questions at the 2018 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Osinbajo, in the interview, discussed the steps the government is taking in building the economy.
The country will be self sufficient in rice by early 2019, the Vice President said, with the foreign reserves at $40 billion.
Although the country generates between 7000 MW and 9000 MW, Osinbajo said, the impact hasn’t been felt by the consumers. The federal government is making investments to ensure power generation impacts the consumers, he said.
A father allegedly brutalized his young daughter in this manner for refusing to have sex with him.
According to reports, the little girl who hails from Okpe Isoko in Isoko north Local government area of Delta state was maltreated and assaulted by her father, John Okeregu, who allegedly attempted to rape her.
The girl was taken into custody of a good Samaritan as report has it that the king of the community is trying to cover up the case.
According to reports, after the news broke out, the Commissioner of Women affairs and the Attorney General of Delta State are said to have been made aware and are now interested in the case.

Keriece got married on November 22, 2017. The makeup artist who did her face on her wedding shared the sad news on social media but did not state the cause of death.

So, Singer Adekunle Gold felt the need to weigh in on the ongoing Taxify driver/Dorcas issue.. But then, instead of the singer to be neutral, he took to one side, called Nigerians “animals”, and he was dragged to filth!
Adekunle Gold speaking on behalf of the actress and others who might find themselves in that situation, wrote:

A lot of responses to his tweet and most of them were negative. Adekunle Gold later deleted the tweet, coming up with a follow up tweet to defend his previous tweet:
DMW Boss, Davido says he’s grateful to God Almighty for his first daughter, Imade Adeleke… He shared adorable photos of the toddler on his Instagram.
Davido has also opened an Instagram account for his daughter with Sophie, (@realimadeadeleke) and so far she’s gathered over 50,000 followers, with thousands of likes on her photos.
The taxify driver and Dorcas kidnap/rape allegations is still ongoing, with many folks on social media analyzing and sharing their thoughts on the issue.
Many are of the opinion that the driver is innocent of these allegations by DSF, while others think the driver is indeed a kidnapper.
Let me start by saying thank you all for your support so far. However, my name is Henry Nnaemeka and I’m neither a Rapist nor a Kidnapper. This is my Story. I’m a taxify driver/partner.
On Thursday the 25th of January 2018 between the hours of 12midnight and 1am I was on my way home from work when I received a taxify rider request from a Ibrahim Eletu way which was coincidentally where I was at that time and also same estate I stay. I decided to take that last trip before I go home to rest.
On getting to the pick-up location To pick up the rider (Miss Shola Fapson) she got In my vehicle and just as I started the trip I noticed there wasn’t a destination for the trip so I politely asked her for the destination to know where I’m going to and if it will be convenient for me at that time of the night but she refused to tell me andinstead asked me to drive out that she will tell me later.
I politely refused and asked severally for the destination but she wouldn’t tell me rather she ordered me in a harsh tone to “Move this car”! On hearing this, I was surprised why she would hold back her destination from me and also ordered me to move the car. It was at this point I told her I wasn’t going anymore.
I ended the trip immediately and asked her to come down from the car since we were still at the pick-up location but to my Greatest surprise she refused to come down and then started making some phone calls in Yoruba Language to some people whom I didn’t know disclosing our location to them. At this point, I got scared and was trying to be on the safe side so I drove the car to the front where the estate had a security light which was a few seconds from the pickup ocation.
On getting to the safe place, I came down from the car and politely opened the door and gently asked her to come down from the car. She blatantly refused again and started with her phone cals again.
It was at this point I overheard her conversation on the phone saying she has my car keys and gave out location again tothe unknown person at the other end of the phone. I felt really threatened at this point because I couldn’t understand why she would take my car keys and then disclose our location to people I didn’t know. I had to struggle with her to get my car keys from her hands. It was in the process of struggling with her, She sprayed a chemical substance (pepper spray) in my eyes.
I succeeded in getting my keys from her but before I could struggle with my sight and call for help she took off and was nowhere to be found. Some concerned residents and my sisters who heard me shout and call for help came to my rescue.
It took me about 45 mins to regain my siht clearly and was taken to my apartment to get some rest only for me to wake up this morning and receive loads of phone calls from friends and family saying I’ve been labelled a KIDNAPPER AND RAPIST. However, the issue has been reported to Taxify and the necessary steps have been taken as shown in their press release.
I want to use this medium to thank you family and friends who stood with me in this bad time and also state that I respect women and i am totally against any form of abuse against women.

In the above video, there was a “muted” part where the driver was uttering some words after Dorcas pepper-sprayed him, but we couldn’t hear..
DSF had to bow to pressure, and she’s released the part she previously muted..
In the unmuted version, Dorcas was seen calmly screaming, “This man is trying to rape and kidnap me. This is a taxify driver that is trying to rape and kidnap me”.
The driver can also be seen calling out a name, “Chidinma” … Recall, in his side of his story, he said he called out his sisters..
The driver also said: “Ritualist… You want to take me to a ritualist”.

ANALYSIS: It is worth noting that the shared video was edited as some parts of the video which would have shown vital evidences to support a rape claim was missing or maybe trimmed off.
Also, a part of the video where the driver was seen standing outside the car, obviously saying something, with Dorcas inside the car was muted. Some facts can be established from their stories owing to what the video presented;
The driver drove to the front of a gate and came down; We can’t tell if he went to open the gate as Dorcas claimed or he went straight to open the car door as he said in his own story as this part of the video was missing.
The video didn’t also show the part where she collected the car keys, but that fact can be established as they both agreed to it in their different epistles. I would say that it is understandable for one to result in a bit of violence or struggle to recover his car key if another person seizes it like Dorcas did, and I wouldn’t see that as a rape attempt, if it is true, just because it involved a male and female… Dorcas said she was frightened and feared a kidnap when the driver was driving towards the gate, but from the video she appeared very relaxed and was recording.
More so, the driver opened his car door and left without closing it. It should be worth noting that for someone who is fearing a rape and kidnap attempt, this would have been the best chance to make an escape attempt, she could even move to the driver’s seat, lock the doors from inside and drive off in a bid to escape, but she didn’t… Rather, she went for the car key, sat back and waited for him to go open the gate as she claimed and then came back to attempt to drag her inside. That is questionable.
Dorcas also said in the video that he tried to drag her out of the car by her waist and then she pepper sprayed him to make him move back.
She didn’t say how she handed back the key to him, whether by will or through a forceful measure by Henry which could also be when she pepper sprayed too as Henry claimed.
After being pepper sprayed, it is understandable for one to get bitter and result in violence to retaliate which may not necessarily be a rape or kidnap. She said she tried to get out and Henry refused and pressed the door against her leg…
The video showed Henry with his hands on the door, but didn’t show the leg that was pressed against. What was said in this part of the video was muted when Henry was talking but only regained the sound when she talked (Why?)… Henry claimed he was telling her to come down…
What was seen was Henry standing outside the car, and Dorcas inside with no form of struggle or violence until she pepper sprayed him from the inside of the car. Meanwhile, no rapist nor kidnapper would be comfortable with you recording him on camera while he is carrying out his unlawful act.
This part is also questionable. Finally, Henry must have been a very big idiot to try to kidnap and rape a customer who booked him via Taxify as he is fully aware that his details would be available and he could be traced or maybe he is sex sick.
Chinese scientists have cloned monkeys using the same technique that produced Dolly the sheep two decades ago, breaking a technical barrier that could open the door to copying humans.
Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua, two identical long-tailed macaques, were born eight and six weeks ago, making them the first primates to be cloned from a non-embryonic cell.
The two newborns are now being bottle fed and are growing normally. The researchers said they expect more macaque clones to be born over the coming months.
The scientists used the same technique that was used in cloning Dolly the sheep two decades ago. It was achieved through a process called somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT), which involves transferring the nucleus of a cell, which includes its DNA, into an egg which has had its nucleus removed.
Researchers at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Neuroscience in Shanghai said their work should be a boon to medical research by making it possible to study diseases in populations of genetically uniform monkeys.
This breakthrough also brings the feasibility of cloning humans.
“Humans are primates. So (for) the cloning of primate species, including humans, the technical barrier is now broken,” Muming Poo, who helped supervise the program at the institute, told reporters in a conference call.
“The reason … we broke this barrier is to produce animal models that are useful for medicine, for human health. There is no intention to apply this method to humans.”
Back in 1999, scientists cloned a rhesus monkey named Tetra using a method called embryo-splitting, which is easier to execute than SCNT but cannot generate as many offspring. Until the most recent experiment, however, all attempts to clone primates with SCNT had failed.
