Father of two, David Adeleke aka Davido has fallen into the trap of love, this we have realized judging by the moves of the DMW boss in recent times.
Before now, Davido’s affairs including pregnancies and the arrival of his two daughters were usually shrouded in mystery until the very last days, but not anymore.
The singer has been screaming for all all to hear that he has a girlfriend, he also made her name available, an indication that he is indeed smitten.
Davido has taken his girl Chioma on two shopping sprees, to Dubai and Paris, spoiling her with expensive gifts.
He has also indicated his desire to have a son with her to compliment his two other children… Girls.
Well, the young beauty is Chioma Avril Rowland, a 300Level student of Babcock University.
According to insiders, Chioma is also besotted with Davido and his 30Billion, so much that she is willing to do anything for him including missing school and repeating a year!
For those with plans to pull some FBI stunts and search for Chioma on the social media, sorry to disappoint you, she already packed her bags, you won’t find her.
These two are definitely in love… Davido seems in love always gushing about ‘his Chioma’ on Snap chat.
Little wonder his baby mamas have started looking elsewhere for true love!
The trial of suspected ritualist, Ifeanyi Dike, commenced on Friday at the Rivers State High Court Number 9, where he was arraigned before judge, Adolphus Enebeli.
Ifeanyi Dike allegedly murdered late eight-year old girl, Chikamso Favour, in August 2017, after raping her and harvesting her genitals.
Also arraigned before Mr. Enebeli are: Ogochukwu Nnamiro (second accused person) and Johnbosco Okoroeze, a police officer (third accused person). They were arraigned as accessories after the fact.
A mild drama ensued in court as Ifeanyi Dike gave a loud shout after his case was mentioned. Thereafter, he refused to take his plea.
His counsel, Lizinna Ameegua, urged the court to order that a mental examination be carried out on him to ascertain his mental status. The judge declined the request.
Thereafter, Ifeanyi Dike collapsed in court. The court entered a plea of not guilty for him, while the second and third accused persons pleaded not guilty.
The matter was adjourned to January 16, 26 and 29, 2018 for definite hearing. Mr. Enebeli said the matter would be heard on a day to day basis.
Earlier in the court, counsel to Mr. Dike, Lizinna Ameegua, raised objection to the trial on the ground that the information filed by the prosecution was incomplete.
He urged the court to discharge the first accused person. The court dismissed the request.
Addressing journalists after the adjournment, Rivers State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Emmanuel Aguma said he expects the case to be heard expeditiously.
He said that no party in the case is entitled to more than three adjournments in the course of the hearing.

I called her that I am coming with my people to see her parents but she thought I was joking.

To make it short, we arrived at their compound and Inomeque Ogbupia my father Inlaw came out to welcome his unknown guest. funny right?

Tennis superstar, Serena Williams, has revealed that she nearly died after she had her baby last September.
She said she needed an emergency C-section and that she had multiple surgeries after giving birth to daughter, Alexis Olympia.
Serena experienced a wave of medical and emotional issues after giving birth to her first child last year, she told the February issue of Vogue.
The day after the operation, she fell ill and doctors found several small clots in her lungs. Then she suffered another terrifying scare when her C-section scar burst open and doctors found a large haematoma (a solid swelling of clotted blood within the tissues) had flooded her abdomen.
Serena underwent several surgeries and was unable to get out of bed for six weeks.
She said:
“That was an amazing feeling (being handed her daughter).
“And then everything went bad.”
The sports star has a history of blood clots, so she was the one who raised the alarm after she found herself feeling short of breath 24 hours after becoming a mum.
Serena was found to have a pulmonary embolism, and the coughing it caused meant her C-section wound burst open.
Because she had been taking blood-thinners to dispel the clots, the medication caused bleeding at the site of the Caesarian section.
She had to undergo another surgery, and a week later, she finally went home and found she wasn’t even able to get out of bed.
Her daughter, Alexis Olympia, was born via emergency Caesarean section due to the baby’s alarmingly low heart rate.
Little Alexis was fine after her September birth, but Williams said that “everything went bad” for her personally.
Williams ultimately needed to have a filter placed in a major vein to stop blood clots from going to her lungs.
She was not able to get out of bed for six weeks after she finally left the hospital a week after giving birth.
Williams says the experience has taken an emotional toll on her as well.
“Sometimes, I get really down and feel like, man, I can’t do this,” she confessed.
“It’s that same negative attitude I have on the court sometimes. I guess that’s just who I am. No one talks about the low moments — the pressure you feel, the incredible letdown every time you hear the baby cry.”
Williams said she has broken down frequently since becoming a mother.
“Or I’ll get angry about the crying, then sad about being angry, and then guilty, like, ‘Why do I feel so sad when I have a beautiful baby?’ The emotions are insane,” she said.
The star has won a record 23 Grand Slam titles in her illustrious career.
A mother will have to pay a 10,000 euro ($12,140) fine if she posts pictures of her son on Facebook without his consent, after a court in Rome ruled in his favor.
The 16-year-old, whose parents were getting a divorce, raised the issue during divorce proceedings involving his parents.
The teenager was featured by his mother in some photos on social media and judges ruled that the boy could lawfully request the removal of all his photos posted by his mother from the social media site.
Under Italian law, the subject of the photo owns the copyright, rather than the person who took the picture, as is the case in the UK. As a result, they made an order in December for the mother to remove photos and videos of the boy or face a fine. She will also have to pay her son if she posts new images of him.
Privacy and copyright laws vary from nation to nation. In France, anyone convicted of publishing and distributing images of another person without their consent can face a fine of 45,000 euros (£40,000) and up to a year in prison.
In 2016, French police urged parents to avoid posting photos of their children on social media. They said the images could infringe on their privacy and security.
Some ladies on Social Media are not happy about the “uncle stop touching” lyrcis in Kiss Daniel’s hit song, YEBA.
In the song, a female voice is heard saying ‘uncle stop touching’ in a manner that portrays the lady is being touched indecently against her consent by a man she’s probably dancing with… and w shouldn’t also forget the fact that the lyrics continued, “Sorry Madam, sorry”.
Those debating the line in the song claim it somehow glorifies or promotes sexual assault.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s only son, Yusuf, has been discharged from the Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja, where he has been on admission since he was involved in a bike accident.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists.
Adesina said the news of Yusuf’s improved health and imminent discharge was contained in a statement dated January 12, 2018 by the Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Felix Ogedegbe.
He also quoted the report as saying that there was also no truth in the report that Yusuf was involved in the accident alongside a friend of his.
The doctor’s statement, as released by the presidential spokesman reads…
“Mr. Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, son of His Excellency President Buhari, was admitted into Cedarcrest Hospitals Abuja in the late hours of the 26th of December 2017, following injuries sustained as a rider of a motorcycle.
“Following initial stabilisation, he was taken into intensive care. He underwent successful emergency surgical operations the following morning, carried out by our team of neurosurgeons and orthopaedic surgeons.
“Over the following week, his condition improved remarkably and he was transferred from intensive care to the ward. He has remained stable ever since and has continued to make remarkable progress. He is now ready to be discharged.
“His extremely speedy response to treatment so far is testimony to the world-class early care he has received here in Cedarcrest, Abuja.
“We are grateful to His Excellency, President Buhari; and Her Excellency, the First Lady Mrs. Aisha Buhari, for the confidence in us and for allowing us to look after Yusuf.
“This show of confidence goes a long way to strengthen our collective belief in our resolve to offer world-class health care, locally. We are extremely grateful to our entire hospital team for their dedication and hard work during this period.
“We are also grateful to the Honorable Minister of Health, the Honorable Minister of State for Health, and the eminent advisory team of specialists assembled by the Honourable Minister of Health who supported us in the course of looking after Yusuf.
“We are grateful to all Nigerians who prayed for Yusuf, his family and his carers. His response to treatment so far is clear testimony to answered prayers.
“We did note some very misleading reports about this incident making the rounds in some social media outlets. Most of them would not ordinarily need to be responded to. Suffice to say that there was only one person involved in this incident. No one else required treatment for this incident or its aftermath.
“Yusuf’s friend was not involved in the accident and did not sustain any injuries whatsoever.
“Her Excellency, the First Lady, was not at any time treated for shock and she was not admitted into Cedarcrest at any time.
“In addition, Cedarcrest Hospitals has remained open to other in-patients and out-patients and at no time were any patients denied access to the hospital.”
Nigerian television host, Denrele Edun posted a throwback photo from his Matriculation day into the University of Lagos UNILAG in 1998 and wrote how the day of Glory became a day of Disgrace.
Read Below ;
“Throwback to my Matriculation Day in Unilag. 1998. Day of Glory that became a Day of Disgrace!
Back Home (then), we had this little-black-and-white-brandless-TV that never showed steady pictures…We always had to slap it hard for it to show properly and each heavy slap only held vice for bout 20mins! I was always exasperated with it!
One Sunday, I rubbed anointing oil on it and Alleluia, the “skoin-skoin” of this toolbox-sized TV ceased and it was perfect picture all day (only on that Sunday)!
Then & there, I saw a promo for an audition: New young actors and actresses wanted for the most popular family series back then. (D Executive Producer is late now, Heaven bless her soul!). I was FRIGGING EXCITED. Jotted down d address, went d next day (Monday) to their office in Ikeja, paid 2k for d form & got the Audition dates.
The actual auditioning date was the same day as my Matric. Even before the Matric, I posed with a makeshift gown (cos I couldn’t afford one) & raced to Ikeja in my very best ensemble (My Dad’s checkered shirt, my best denim pants, borrowed shades and my Yaba-Aba-made trainers that always smelt so bad after I took them off).
I was at the auditioning ground from 10am thru till 7pm waiting for my turn. I honestly didn’t mind the long wait…I wanted to be on the show so bad cos I needed the cash, exposure and of course, work. My turn and I went in with all d confidence in d world.
They called in 10 of us & when it was time to act, I nailed it. However, there was an Actor on the panel (very popular at that time) who was eyeing me in disdain. He suddenly started throwing questions at me, perhaps in a bid to make me look stupid or throw me off but i was damn ready for him.
He looked me squarely in the eye and told me, I recall this too well; “YOU WILL NEVER MAKE IT IN THIS INDUSTRY. YOU ARE TALENTLESS AND JUST WASTED OUR TIME. YOU WANT US TO PUT U ONSCREEN? SUCH A DISGRACE”. I thought he was reading from d script. Next thing, I was walked out with the others.
D other guys tried consoling me but I left shattered. Trekked from Ikeja to Yaba. Cried all The way home.
U know my name, not my story.
U’ve heard what I’ve done, but not what I’v been thru!”

A Nigerian man, Chidimma Amedu has taken Facebook post to a whole new level when he posted an unusual advert on 30 December 2017 asking any woman interested in being his wife to reply.
He also said he was ready to tie the nuptials knots on 6 January, 2018.
“Am of age and I am ready to say I do and am wasting no time.
“Send in your applications – the most qualified will be married on January 6, 2018. Application closes 12 midnight, 31/12/2017,” Amedu posted.
He then followed up with subsequent posts.
“Am serious about this oh and don’t say you did not see it on time. Good luck.”
He received a couple of responses, but one from a certain Sophy Ijeoma was the one which caught his attention.
“Am interested, just DM me…lols,” her post read.
At first, she thought it was a joke and she simply replied to keep the thread flowing.
“Chidimma placed the advert initially as a joke but became optimistic when Sophy said she was interested”
A direct message from him to her inbox, followed by a Facebook call, would change her life’s trajectory.
Two days after their first conversation, he travelled some 500km (300 miles) from his home in the Nigerian capital of Abuja, to Enugu in the east where she lived.
She had been waiting for him outside a retail store and in true fairy-tale style, “it was love at first sight”, she recalled.
“He is the most handsome man I’ve ever met and I liked him instantly.”
After two hours of “awkward” conversation, he asked her to go to meet his uncle, who incidentally is also resident in Enugu.
Asked what was going through her mind at the time, she said she thought it was all a bit of a joke, but she was excited about it and thought Chidimma was quite an interesting character.
“We got to the uncle’s house and he said: ‘Uncle, meet the woman I want to marry.’”
Like Chidimma, his family don’t seem to hang about when it comes to getting things done, because the uncle gave his approval.
The couple had been friends on Facebook for over a year but had never spoken to each other before the advert
Getting family backing for your choice of spouse is an essential part of Igbo culture.
Whereas picking your future wife from dozens of respondents to a Facebook marriage advert and marrying her in six days is decidedly not.
At this point in their day-old relationship, it was beginning to dawn on Sophy that this fellow was not playing, but how do you commit to marrying someone you only just met?
She would not comment on whether they had even shared as much as a kiss at that point, but maintained she was captivated by how focused and determined her new fiancé was.
“When I saw him for the first time, I definitely found him attractive, but what I didn’t know was how serious he was about marrying me.
“It was after we met the uncle and his wife, that I realised that this could actually happen and I wanted it.”
It was now her turn to worry about how she was going to get the approval of her family to marry a guy she had just met on Facebook.
But they had momentum going for them. Having met and fallen in love at first sight, or first message, if you like, and getting Chidimma’s uncle’s approval, the couple decided to complete the cycle by visiting Sophy’s family the same day.
Approval from the family is essential in Igbo tradition.
Sophy recounted how she relayed the information to her mother. Her dad had passed away, and her mum said she did not have the final word in terms of giving approval for her to be married, so it was up to Sophy’s elder brother to give his blessings.
It would appear the odds were firmly in their favour as Sophy’s brother gave his blessings too.
So after a few questions from her brother, it was official – Chidimma and Sophy were engaged to be married in six days.
Last year Chidimma was engaged to another woman and the wedding was scheduled for December, but the relationship fell apart in March leaving him dejected.
As December approached, the disappointment of not being able to fulfil his dream of getting married made him put up the post, he said.
“I had the desire to get married, I had a date in mind, but no bride, so I decided to place an advert as a joke, but I was open and up for it.”
Asked whether she knew about his earlier engagement and her thoughts on how this seemingly rushed marriage might be seen as a rebound, Sophy dismissed any suggestions that her relationship was not well thought through.
“I don’t care about that – when you see what you want, you go for it.”
They had been friends on Facebook for more than a year, but had never met or spoken to each other until the advert.
“Am interested, just DM me…lols” was all it took for the union to be formed.
Sophy admitted her friends were sceptical about the whole thing, while some are still in disbelief, but as she said: “When you see the one, you will know he is the one”.
Happily ever after?
They got married on 6 January in a traditional Igbo ceremony, and posted photos of their wedding day on Facebook of course – to the amusement of the social media community.
Chidimma put up a post saying people may have thought he had been joking but he clearly wasn’t.
As can be expected, there were mixed reactions, but mainly a lot of support for the couple.
They hope to have a church wedding in April and perhaps a honeymoon somewhere nice, he said.
Williams Uchemba has revealed that ever since he started his #givechallenge campaign, he and his team have been facing some attacks over their actions to help the poor and needy.
He revealed that his family members were exempted.
He explained that ever since he started the campaign, he has been under severe attack from forces that are not happy with his movement.
The concerned actor is interested in knowing why some people are sad that he wants to help those in need. He’s not the only one under the attack, but members of his a family too.
He insists that he’s not going to stop this campaign, but he’s going back to the street to offer more help to those who are in need of it.
Here is what he shared:
“Ever since I started the #givechallenge I’ve been under serious attack (both spiritually and otherwise) apparently some forces are not happy with what we are doing, they’ve been attacking my family members and even that of my team members.”
“It’s still not clear to me why some people hate it when you try to help others but one thing I’ve come to understand is that the devil is not interested in what God is not interested in.”
“The past 9 days has been war but I’m glad to inform you that we got the victory. It was Gods instruction to carry out the #givechallenge so if they want to stop it then they have to stop God first, but as for me I’M GOING BACK INTO THE STREETS TO GET MORE PEOPLE OFF THE STREET TODAY..let’s keep putting smiles on people’s faces. #givechallenge WHO IS STILL WITH ME??”

Nigerian migrants recently repatriated from Libya on Wednesday protested against the N1,000 transport fare allegedly given to them by the Edo State Government.
Over 900 returnees have been received by the state government at a temporary shelter in Benin since January 8, 2018.
Some of the returnees, who were moved to Benin after their arrival in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, were seen grumbling about the amount, which they claimed was too small to take them home.
They lamented that their colleagues who were moved to Benin from Lagos State got over N40,000, while those from the Port Harcourt centre were allegedly told that they would be catered for by the Edo State Government.
The angry returnees also threatened to stage a peaceful protest at the Palace of Oba of Benin and the Government House but were dissuaded by some security personnel who intervened.
One of the returnees, Joyce Richard, lamented that the amount was inadequate to take her to her hometown in Orhionmwon Local Government Area. She, therefore, appealed to the state government to increase the allowance.
It was, however, learnt that the development compelled the government to later increase the amount to N5,000.
Reacting, the Chairman of the state Task Force on Anti-Hhuman Trafficking, Prof. Yinka Omorogbe, blamed the protest on misinformation.
Omorogbe, who is also the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, explained that those who were received from Lagos came on a different arrangement.
According to her, the Lagos batch was provided with the sum of N41,000 on arrival by the European Union, through the International Organisation for Migration.
She also confirmed that the Port Harcourt batch had yet to be provided with any allowance, even as she added that the state had a stipend of N20,000 each for the returnees for three months.
While describing the protest as unexpected, Omorogbe said that the N5,000 was approved by the state government to enable them to get to their various destinations.
According to her, “What we have been able to do now is because of the proactive nature of the state government because no amount has actually been approved to be given to returnees at this stage.
“This amount (N5,000) is not a stipend but a realisation that the government is determined to make it (intervention) succeed.
“You cannot expect people to trek to their various homes, as many of them do not live in Benin. As such, we were directed to make a provision for the N5,000 transport fare that was not there before now.”

Funke Akindele 22 />
Funke Akindele Bello!!
You have bellowed your name into the ears of Africa and now, woman’s international.
You know, things like this makes me generally emotional and mushy.
I mean, this is a stark case of grace, hard work and drive.
When I saw the news that you are making an appearance in an Avengers movie, I was elated. For a while, I tried to sink that in.
When you started the Jenifas diary, I had people who said that you are all about scattering good English and poisoning our generation with bad English.
I laughed because they were mostly people that voted for Buhari.
I mean, what else can come out from their brains except worm infested ideas and thoughts?
I am happy that you are a source of pride for we Nigerians.
You have done for us what Buhari and his gang haven’t done.
Putting us on the map for a good reason.
Wizkid and Davido have done theirs and are still doing theirs.
Great day to be a Nigerian!
Let’s keep working and ignore Buhari.

Another armed robbery and kidnap kingpin, who participated in the New Year attack in Omoku, Rivers State was on Thursday, been paraded at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The 32-year-old suspect, Desmond Okotubo, who is a father of three, hails from Egbenma in Unelga Local Government Area of Rivers State.
He told newsmen in Abuja that, “the arrest and humiliation of the mother of Don Waney, coupled with the destruction of Waney’s mansions was the main reason for the New Year attack in Omoku.”
He also revealed, “that the plan to invade Omoku was hatched in Owerri, Imo State,” adding that Omoku vigilante group members were their original targets and not church worshippers.
Okotubo further explained that their decision to vent their anger on the worshippers came when they could not track down the vigilante group members.
He said vigilante members were instrumental to the arrest of Don Waney’s mother and tracing of his mansions for destruction by government.

“#hnnbeauty #hnnstyle
Chioma in cell 1 of #PHMax was one of the EFCC big girls. She ran a boutique under her bed. Are u like her trying to form a big life? She mocked my hairdo calling me #crayfish seller look. Little did she know that I actually sell moinmoin, crayfish and pepper in markets around #Ibadan while empowering women. Some of u have seen pictures at #hnncommunity.
We are beautiful #African women. Let us emulate our cultural looks. Yesterday Rose cell 2 hairdresser was plaiting my hair when they called me to pack up. Wow inmates burst out in cheers. It was my hairdo to go home. I never braid or plait with wool. Last time 10yo. Its been perms, low cut in school and wigs in America. Ogoni Comfort in cell 1 joined Rose to speed it up and I left.
Ladies, let’s empower our market women. Get your #Brazillian wool today. Lets all look like #Medusa lol. The lady carrying snakes on her head. Google her or click the hashtag. I’m gonna get crazy with the colored wool soon. Banned in prison. Only black allowed.”
