Popular actress and singer Angela Okorie has responded after facing heavy backlash for washing her hands with an expensive vintage champagne, Dom Perignon, at a club.
The 48-year-old star shared the video on TikTok and bragged that she doesn’t need to use water to wash her hands in this harsh economy.
The video, however, received mixed reactions, with many criticizing her for wasting the alcohol, while others berated her, calling her classless, razz, and claiming that she has a poverty mentality.
In response to the negative comments, Angela took to Instagram to lash out at her critics for condemning her action and boasted about her wealth and influence in the entertainment industry.
She asserted that she is exposed, well-traveled, and has visited many countries across the world. She also clarified that the video was just for fun, and anyone who can’t handle her kind of content should simply ignore her instead of leaving bitter comments.

Controversial activist Adetoun has shared her alleged encounter with the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad.
Adetoun, who claims to be a prophetess, asserted that the late singer’s spirit sought out a pregnant woman to be reincarnated through her unborn child, but the pregnant woman refused.
She also alleged that the ‘Imole’ crooner would return to the world in three years through another family.
Speaking in Yoruba during an interview on Oyinmomo, Adetoun said,
“Mohbad is now in his resting place. He went to meet a pregnant woman and asked to enter her body. The pregnant woman ran away and refused. Go and write it down; in three years, Mohbad will reincarnate into another family and not into his paternal or maternal family.”
When asked if Mohbad told her anything about the child he left behind, Adetoun said, “People have to be careful about Liam. He has a staff with him.”
The activist, who claimed to have communicated with multiple deceased people, also alleged that Mohbad demanded ‘power’ from the grave.

A Nigerian man, Nagaziman, has taken to social media to share the sweet but funny way he met his wife as they celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
In a post shared on Facebook, the man disclosed that his wife was his classmate in 1999, but he disliked her quiet nature and would intentionally write her name on the list of noisemakers to provoke her.
However, on one fateful day, he met her outside school and was captivated by her beauty. The rest, they say, is history as they are happily married now.
Celebrating their wedding anniversary and 20 years of being together, Nagazim wrote on Thursday, December 28:
“I knew my wife in 1999 when she joined our class, we were in JSS3, She hardly talk, I hate quiet people. I wasn’t feeling her vibes at all. I will add her name to the list of noise makers just to provoke her.
“You know how school uniform hides beauty, o yea, but one evening I ran into her without school uniform around “ohu oweyi”, I was like this girl fine oo, I must have been blinded by the beauty of the other girls in the class, it took me some years to tell her that I liked her, and that was in 2003, after we were done with secondary school.
“She was like you dey craze, there was nothing she will do with a razz guy like me but sha, we can be friends. The friendship grew and was nurtured for over 10 years, till we got married in 2013. 24 years as Class mates. 20 years as friends. It’s our 10 years Marriage anniversary. A yet-to-be identified man has become a sex offender in the UK after he was caught sex-chatting with a minor, with the intent of sleeping with her.
A video making rounds online shows the moment he was apprehended by the police for having sensual conversations with the 14-year-old girl.
In the clip, the man claimed that he found the girl on a dating site and started chatting with her. He admitted that the girl told him she was 14-year-old, yet he still proceeded to propose sex to her.
According to the policewomen who interrogated him, the man sent photos of his private part to the minor and also asked her to send him photos of her boobs.
Interestingly, the suspect, said to be a Nigerian, disclosed that he relocated to the UK a month ago and has a three-month-old child.
He also apologized profusely to the police officers for his action but they refused to acknowledge his apology, stating that he is only sorry because he was caught.
The policewoman further explained him that the man is culpable of rape, because he was planning to meet up with the girl the following day for sex, and sleeping with anyone below 16 in the UK is statutory rape, according to the law.

A man has reportedly decided to break up with his girlfriend because she had come to his residence without telling him first.
The shocking situation was shared on social media by Nollywood actress Anita Joseph who narrated how her friend’s partner broke up with her because she invaded his privacy.
The actress declared on her Instagram page that a woman is dating herself if she has to call her partner before visiting his home.
She wrote;

Nigerian rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie, better known as Erigga, has chastised his father for feeling entitled to his fortune even though he had little involvement in his upbringing.
He said that his father abandoned him when he was eight years old and that he had to raise himself, only for the man to now scold the musician for not taking care of him.
The hip-hop singer claims that his father has been contacting him and making demands ever since he got famous.
In an interview on the Spill With Phyna podcast, Erigga said that his stepbrothers were pleading with him to pardon their father since he had done the same to them.
He said;
“When you see parents start feeling entitled, it doesn’t make sense because you had many years ahead of me, why didn’t make it before me? People don’t really address this entitlement mentality in Africa.

I had to start raising myself at the age of 8. I started living with my friends and learning bad habits. But then again, I fell in love with music at a very tender age so I knew where I wanted to be regardless of where I was.
Then many years later, I now become Erigga then somebody comes and say, ‘Yo! You’re not taking care of me. You’re not doing this and that.’ And I’m like, ‘Bro, na relations we be because you no father the father wey you suppose father normally. I don father myself alone. And I can’t give you the credit.
All my stepbrothers started begging me to forgive our dad, saying he wasn’t also responsible to them. But at the end of the day, they are only having the conversation with me because I am who I am.”

Sharing the details of the situation via an anonymous message, he noted that she refused to cook for 70 of his family members.
According to his message, him and his gen z partner who was just recovering from an illness, had chosen to visit his family members during the festive period.
On getting to their destination, Badagry his partner was asked to cook white rice and vegetable sauce for him and 70 of his family members.
The lady however flared up and left in anger after the young man informed her that the vegetable sauce she had prepared contained too much salt.
According to him ‘the lady he wanted to marry’ disgraced him in front of his family members, because she refused to cook for them.
