Few months ago, Nollywood actress, Ruth Eze was all smiles. Reason? Her boyfriend had gifted her a brand new car to mark her birthday.
However, the rosy relationship which Ruth believed was altar- bound couldn’t stand the test of time as it came crashing like a pack of dominoes and Ruth was plunged into a world of despair.
Inside Nollywood caught up with the Imo State-born actress recently and she opened up on the heartbreak.
She said: “I am not in a relationship at the moment. I must confess, heart break is the worst thing that could happen to anyone. It almost killed me. At a point I even considered taking my life. I have actually done everything for love; I just want love to do everything for me.”
Despite the nightmarish experience, the fair-skinned screen diva still believes in love and is ready to give it another shot. Hear her: ‘’I want a dark, tall guy, he must be a lover of God, rich and must be Igbo. He must be honest, very creative and funny. I love to love to love oh,” she gushed excitedly.

“There is no such thing as a totally flawless person, yet you have carried yourself with grace, dignity and a certain “awareness” that many (regardless of age) are yet to master. Were i asked to describe you in one word it would be #clean.”

Burna Boy‘s team has revealed in an interview with Punch that he’s not on the run from the police, but is busy recording in the country.
The singer had earlier in the week been invited by the police over the robbery of singer Mr 2Kay at the “Buckwyld N Breathless” concert.
Mr 2Kay had been robbed at gunpoint in his hotel room at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, after his performance at the concert.
Burna Boy’s road manager Joel Kantiok has already been apprehended and paraded by the police, along with 3 other suspects who claimed they were contracted to rob Mr 2Kay by the singer.
His record label Spaceship Entertainment had released a statement saying he has honored the police invitation, a claim the police quickly debunked.
In the interview with Punch, an anonymous source in his team said he isn’t on the run. The source said seeing as December is a busy period for the musician, he is busy preparing for appearances.
The source said:
“Burna Boy is neither on the run nor avoiding the police; he is not guilty. I cannot tell you his exact whereabouts but he is in the country recording.
Also, you should know that as the festive season approaches, demand for his services would be on the increase, so he is preparing for appearances as well.
Initially, when he was invited, he could not go to the station because of his engagements, so his father went to the police station in his stead. But now that the police have insisted that they want to see him personally, he would surely honour their invitation.
He is not guilty of the charges leveled against him.”
Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has said he wishes former vice president Atiku Abubakar well as he leaves the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Atiku had, in a statement personally signed by him on Friday, announced his resignation from the APC, citing lack of good relationship with the party leadership, among other issues.
In an interview at the State House after attending the Friday juma’at service with the president, El-Rufai said he’d heard Atiku would leave the party in December.
He said:
“I have heard about what the former Vice President said about leaving the APC. We knew he was going to leave in December but he has left in November which is good because the earlier he leaves for where he belongs, the better.
He has changed political parties a few times, there is nothing surprising. Before the 2019 elections if situation changes and he thinks he can get the ticket in 2019 he will come back. That is what he has done a few times.”
El-Rufai said no one will follow Atiku in leaving the party. He said the only one who can, the Adamawa State Governor, Bindow Jibrilla has already endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari for the 2019 presidency.
He said:
“I want to assure you that there is no one governor in the APC that is going to go with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The only governor that he would think will go with him, the governor of Adamawa State has already endorsed President Buhari for the 2019 elections.”
He added that Atiku is not a threat to Buhari. He said he’d made the statement in Atiku’s presence, adding that he’d told Atiku not to run for president.
He said:
“He has never been and will never be a threat to President Buhari. Let me say this very clearly, and I have said this to the former Vice President in 2014 Dubai when we met. Because before joining the APC, he sent for me.
However, I told him not to run for the presidency because I believe very strongly this is Buhari’s era.
As long as President Muhammadu Buhari is in politics I do not see any Nigerian from the northern part of the country that will be able to match him in popularity. Anyone standing up to challenge him is wasting his time.
God has decreed that this is Buhari’s time and we are waiting for the PDP to give Atiku Abubakar the ticket and we will face him on the field. But I have no doubt that I will not lose any sleep about it.”

Now, here’s what she said about the Wizkid-Shatta Wale drama.
She says she sees Nigeria’s Wizkid and Ghana’s Dancehall artiste, Shatta wale as both great artistes, and superstars in their own zones.
The Multiple award-winning singer added that she sees both of them as great artists who perform very well in their area of specialization and won’t prefer one to the other.
Yemi Alade when asked in the interview on Wednesday on what she thinks of the two artists, she replied that they are both superstars in their own right.
“I think Wizkid is a superstar in his own right and Shatta Wale is celebrated by his people for his great talent and they are both great artists and super stars”. She said.
Recall, the self-acclaimed dancehall king in an interview recently on Kasapa FM said he will not see Wizkid and be stunned but rather want him to see him and be amazed because he does not see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste.
Many people outside and inside the African continent, mainly Nigerians after this controversial interview has severely criticized Shatta Wale for stepping on Wizkid who had no previous beef with him.
However, the French used artiste speaking in an interview recently condemned Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie for rejecting her collaboration on several occasions-tagged him as a disrespectful artiste.

Nigerian Singer, Yemi Alade, has declared she can’t choose side in the Nigerian-Ghana Jollof wars, as she’s described it as “senseless”.
Speaking to Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Wednesday, in Ghana, Yemi said there’s absolutely no point in arguing over food that “goes into your system and disappears within seconds”.
She urged that people rather channel their energy into looking for employment rather than fighting over who has the best jollof.
“I don’t understand why common food that you will eat and it will disappear from your system within seconds, people should fight over it. It doesn’t make sense at all. People should look for employment and leave this jollof war. The funniest thing is that we are even told from history that Jollof originated from the Senegalese,” the ‘Johnny’ hit maker mentioned.

The jollof rice war is one interesting debate among personalities across the world with the popular one being between Ghana and Nigeria on whose tastes better.

……Even her Instagram bio proudly says it all!
We have stumbled on one of her Interview with Porscheclassy.com.. Read below;
1. Did anything in your childhood contribute to what you do now?
Yeah, I was always reading mills and boom novels, Thrills and Boom, Hearts, Hints and I loved romantic movies. In my secondary school days, I was always asking people how they would spend their valentine or what they would look out for in choosing a spouse when they are ready. I was this love struck child who loved Happily Ever After stories until that was shattered at 19 when I got pregnant in my second year in the polytechnic.
2. Tell us more about yourself?
My name is Lara Kudayisi-Emeralds. I am the Matchmaking Mistress. I help singles attract their dream partners and walk down the aisle in the shortest time possible. I am also the founder of The Complete Singles Club, an almost 4,000 member club. I am married with 2 kids.
3. You are virtually Nigeria’s queen of Match-making, how have u been to achieve this feat?
Well, I decided to bridge a gap in my industry; the Relationship and Marriage Industry. I have been a relationship coach for over four years and from coaching my clients, I realized that there is a need that nobody is meeting in that space, and I decided to bridge that gap and since then It’s been great.
4. What led you into becoming a relationship coach?
I decided to become a relationship coach because I wanted to prevent people from going through what I went through. I had a child at 19, 14 heartbreaks and 15 abortions before I got married. For a very long time when I was dating, I was just groping in the dark or doing trial and error like so many people do today. I had no adequate knowledge of what was required to attract your dream partner or run a successful relationship, hence my many relationships and heartbreaks. Thank God that I realized my my mistakes of how I was emotionally broken which was why I kept attracting broken people just like me who eventually break my heart. I got fixed and everything turned around for me emotionally. I wanted to help people get adequate knowledge and help them live happily Ever After. This is what gave birth to starting a club; The Complete Singles Club.
5. Since you started your career , how has the reception been?
Well, Nigerians are very skeptical when it comes to sharing their problems with strangers irrespective of what title you have. So, people signing up for counselling or Relationship Coaching is still relatively low. Same with Professional Matchmaking. People’s Orientation of Matchmaking is the old school way of when a concerned family member forces someone down your throat and expect you to get married to them because both of you are single. Professional Matchmaking is totally different. It involves the Matchmaker matching you with someone whom they have run some tests on and they are convinced that they are a great match for you based on professional parameters.
6. Was there ever a time you felt like giving up
Oh yes, just like every other business around. There are times when you feel like throwing in towel because things are not panning out like you wish, however that could be the teething stage.
When I first started, it took a while trying to convince people that this was okay to venture into without any side effects. So many people are finding it hard to accept Relationship Coaching or Matchmaking because of so many mind barriers. But since I know that for a new venture to thrive, you have to create awareness first in order to educate people about it. I write different articles on my blog and in different platforms sensitizing as many people as I can reach to educate them on the benefits of Professional Matchmaking and trust me the response has greatly improved.
7. What is the greatest reward you have ever gotten for what you do?
I am rewarded when people find happiness with my coaching and help. A lot of us are the architect of our problems. For instance for a Single person to live a fulfilling life and find true love, you need to 1) Have great self confidence 2) Pursue a passion 3) Be Emotionally Whole 4)Connect Effectively with others.
So many people have self confidence issues and this affects the way they live their lives and the way other people including the opposite sex percieve them. Meanwhile, some people’s self confidence have been damaged in their childhood or growing up years.
Secondly is Pursuing a Passion. A lot of people do not know that doing what you love greatly has everything to do with living a fulfilled life and even attracting the love of your life. When you are doing your passion, you are happier, you are more receptive to people and trust me happiness is contagious. People would want to be a part of your life unlike when you are frustrated on your job or unfulfilled. You are prone to depression, frustration or bitterness. These negative emotions weighs you down and repel people from you.
Thirdly, Emotional Wholeness is almost everything if not all. This is the reason why lots of single people have issues in relationships.
Like I said earlier, lots of people were damaged from childhood. Any child that has been raped, molested, abused and all have a greater chances of having emotional troubles if they are not treated properly.
Same for children who lost their parents early or children that were verbally or emotional abused or even bullied when they were young. This tend to cause a lot of issues that springs up later in their adult years. It causes lot of giant issues like insecurity, emptiness, inability to accept love, trust issues and so many bigger issues.
So when they are in relationships, all these show up and they keep having broken relationships and most times they blame the other party not knowing that they are the real problem.
Finally, Connecting Effectively with Others is key in the whole equation of living happily ever after. People need to learn basic skills or connection like friendliness, effective communication, mutual respect and so on. When you have great self confidence, pursue a deep passion and become emotionally whole, then connecting effectively becomes easier. By then you don’t read meanings to what people say or do and you can give your all to someone without looking over your shoulders.
8. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in your line of work so far?
People wanting to skip the process of treating their issues before being matchmade. I don’t just hook people up, I make sure I run sessions with you to ascertain potential issues that may give you problem in your relationship or marriage. I like to treat that before I can introduce you to someone, but people want to skip that process and just get introduced to someone which might eventually cause them to go back to square one of being alone.
The truth is if you you don’t deal with your previous baggage, it would definitely affect the relationship that you are about to get into. I always have to convince people on the need to trust the process and follow through.
9. As a relationship coach, what’s your take on Toke Makinwa’s new book and her tell-it-all about her ex-hubby ?
Toke poured out her heart in the book and spilled so many private issues concerning her life and marriage. It’s not our culture here so I understand people’s outrage on it. However, I’d like for us to look beyond that and see a little girl that lost her parents at a tender age. That is the beginning of all her issues and until she gets help to successfully deal with that truama, she might likely repeat all her mistakes all over again.
Like she admitted in the book, she has daddy issues and she is looking for her daddy in a man who cannot fill that void. Someone needs to read that book and truly understand what she is not saying before you comment or conclude on your summation.
10. What makes you unique in your field ?
What makes me unique is that I don’t fix the symptoms of an issue, I deal with it from the root. Apart from being a relationship coach, I am also a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with training in Neuro Linguistic Programming .I don’t just give you what to do but I deal with your history and guide you to make the best decision that serves you.
A lot of Relationship Counselors and Coaches tell you what to do without them really knowing the depth or nature of your problems and thereby give quick fixes and solutions that don’t work.
11. Why do you think we’ve got lots of single ladies above the age of 30 these days while the young ones are getting married ?
Well, I really don’t think that statistics is true about younger ladies getting married. I think we have a generational issue of women liberation. Women are being enlightened and empowered and this as much as its a strength could also be a problem if not channeled accordingly.
So many women are beginning to see the need to remain unmarried until a man who truly matches their education, exposure, financial status and so on comes along. The good thing about this is that the lady knows her onions and would likely not be a liability or a pushover in marriage. She totally understands her power and uses it well. The flip side to that is that she might not be able to recognize a great man who isn’t in the finished state that she is looking for.
A great man may not be all polished or refined like she wants. However, if she could only be patient enough to check his values and potentials, she would know that he is gold that is in the process of shinning. So, she ignores the good man and keeps chasing shadows all over just like I did way back when I was single.
12. List 5 things that every single lady/guy needs to do to get hooked and married in 2017.
1) Build up their Self Confidence
2) Pursue a fulfilling passion
3) Invest in Emotional Wholeness
4) Learn how to connect effectively with others
13. What do we expect from you in 2017?
In 2017, I am coming out with my own TV show which we are already shooting right now. It’s a show that fuses relationship with Entertainment. It helps to solve major relationship issues whilst it also entertains you.
My club, The Complete Singles Club would also metamorphose from being a club to a movement. I have the passion to educate, reform and connect singles for a Happily Ever After and that is what we would doing on a larger scale in 2017.

Peter Okoye today on Inspiration 92.3fm spoke more about his feud with his brothers, Paul and Jude. Peter says he doesn’t hate anyone but it is just that they can’t do business (music) together again.
He also said aside from that, he is trying to make peace with them (his brothers) but they are not ready.
While answering fans who called in, Peter said; “It’s not about us singing together that really matters because that’s what you guys know. But think about it, this could be a blessing in disguise.
The PSquare Brothers!
I’m not trying to break the family or make anyone look bad. I don’t hate anybody and I’m not trying to make my brothers feel bad. I wish everybody the best.
“Everybody is doing well now, let’s just keep it that way. I came out to sing alone to show people I can sing because if I hadn’t done so people will keep thinking otherwise.
My mother, if she was alive, would have said we should remain together but not do music (business) together. I’m doing my best to settle with my family but they (family) are not ready. However, for the business aspect, I’m done.”
The Police have revealed that they are taking steps to investigate a video circulating on social in which dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is seen firing a gun sporadically.
Public Affairs Director of the Ghana Police, ACP David Eklu says what Shatta Wale did in the video could amount to an offence.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he noted that the act itself is an offence but the police would have to conduct further investigations.
“If you fire a gun without lawful and necessary reasons it is an offence,” he said.
The Police PRO explained that they will have to examine the video very carefully since it could have been doctored.
“I have seen the video I don’t know the circumstance under which the video was shot. For all we know it could have been tailored to create an impression,” he said.
Shatta Wale, in a viral video that surfaced online on Tuesday, could be seen firing warning shots which were alleged to be directed at Nigerian artistes including Wizkid, Patoranking and Timaya.
Veteran hiplife artiste Tic Tac called for the arrest of Shatta Wale for publicly firing a gun into the air.

It is no longer news that the Famous Music Duo, PSquare finally went their separate ways… and it’s been confirmed following multiple reports from various sources.
Incase you missed it.. Below is a recap.
Peter sparked speculation recently that all was not well with him and his twin brother/business partner – Paul after he referred to himself as Mr. P (his personal brand name).
He also dropped cryptic messages on Instagram, one of it addressing how no one’s opinion should matter about something that makes you happy.
Though no names were mentioned, Paul Okoye replied in a post via his own Instagram page, talking about how the birth of his twins was making someone jealous and restless.
He accused the person of having sleepless nights, and also indirectly called out Peter’s wife Lola – saying; “Only a woman can come where there’s peace and destroy it. Try me this time, I swear Nyash go open. You will know that blood is thicker and stronger than juju.”
Peter then sent his termination letter to their lawyer Festus Keyamo (SAN), demanding for a termination of the agreement between Psquare.
In the letter, he defends his decision by making some serious allegations against his twin Paul and older brother/group manager Jude.
According to Peter, Paul is no longer willing to co-operate with him, even going as far as cancelling their planned US tour this year without informing him, and he (Peter) has exhausted all options to make it work.
He also accused Paul of slandering his wife and children with lies on social media, and alleged that they’ve now been receiving threatening messages.

A 73-year-old granny has filed a divorce case to terminate her 55-year-old marriage over alleged mistreatment by her husband and co-wife.
Marcella Mukami Kinyugo, a retired teacher from Kiriaini town in Mathioya Constituency, Kenya recently went to the Kangema magistrate court to demand that her marriage to Peter Kinyugo, 76, is dissolved.
According to Nairobi News, Marcella also wants to have the family property shared in half and her husband compelled to pay the cost of the suit.
Ms. Mukami told the court that they were living happily as husband and wife since September 16, 1962, after a church wedding conducted at Kiriaini Catholic Church.
But their family problem started in 1984, when her husband, a former teacher and chief, married another woman without her approval, although, she never for once questioned his decision.
The complainant also claimed that it was not until five years ago when her husband suddenly absconded his matrimonial duties without explaining his decision.
“Problems in my marriage when Mr. Kinyugo would stay at my co-wife’s house for weeks without coming to my house which is in the same compound,” She told the court.
According to the seriously ill woman, who was brought to court in a wheelchair, she accused her husband of neglecting her after she got sick, leaving their only daughter to look after her and cater for her medical
“I want the court to hear my prayers and order that I get a share of our property so that I can get money to foot my medical bill since my pension is not enough to cater for my personal upkeep,” she pleaded with the court.
Her husband, Mr.Peter Kinyugo, however dismissed the claims maintaining that both wives are being treated equally. He also refuted claims that he did not consult his wife while marrying his second wife Trizah Mulinge.
Kinyugo’s lawyer Mr Waiganjo Gichuki told the court that Ms. Mukami was actively involved in the process of the customary marriage of my client’s second wife.
An argument ensued in the court when Mr. Waiganjo brought forward some photos and gave them to Ms. Mukami, a move that was objected by her lawyer, Ms. Nyangati accusing him of illegally introducing the photos in court.
The case was adjourned to January 18, 2018, to give the defense a chance of filing the photos to the court in accordance with the law.
In a video shared by The Shade Room, a lovely looking bride was caught on camera struggling to make it down a garden aisle due to her high heels.
It was most likely the happiest day for this unknown bride but it may also have been one of her most uncomfortable days.
At a point, it seemed like she was going to twist an ankle or even fall down, but the strong arm of the groom which served as her support, only made the entire scene appear nothing more than an awkward walk.
Guests could also be heard cheering her on as she made the ‘long’ walk.

How long have you been doing what you do? How did you get started?
Professionally a month ago, and pretty much since I was 2 years old. I started when I was 2 years old. I used to play the drums in the in the School Band.
Is there an early memory you’d like to share about getting into your craft, such as when you realized this was more than just a hobby or a passion?
When I was 3, I played drums for Buba Marwa, then when Bola Tinubu became Governor, I played for him. I also played for Fashola, when he was governor. I always knew I would end up doing something in the entertainment world. I realized it was more than hobby when I got to University in America and everyone started telling me to take music seriously.
How do you describe your sound/what you do to people you haven’t heard before?
I think my sound is generic. It’s different. people love the authenticity in my voice.
Who are your influences?
King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall. That’s my biggest influence.
What is some advice that has stuck with you?
“Be Yourself!” my mom tells me this all the time, and it has worked for me tremendously.
What do you hope people take away from listening to your music?
Love, Power, peace, strength and courage. I want them to become better people after listening to my music
Tell us a little bit about your new project Amen, such as concepts/themes, what inspired you, what the creative process was like, etc?
I was broke when I recorded ‘Amen’, that’s where the lyrics “when owu dey blow when money no dey” came from. but I put my heart to it. It was fun working with Shizzi, Shizzi is a spirit man. I went home and came back the next day, he had turned the song into a master jam.

Being signed to Shizzi, how does that feel?
It’s the best feeling in the world. I feel blessed to be signed to my brother. He gives me the freedom to explore different sounds. Shizzi is someone that I’ve learnt so much from and there’s no better person to share greatness with, than him. He believed in me since the first time I met him in 2013.
You are sisters with Niniola, how does her work affect your push for success?
I’m proudd of her and how she has accomplished by setting good examples and laying a good path. Her work doesn’t affect me, it encourages and inspires me to be a better musician.
The achievement divide that separates men and women. Do you think the Industry discriminates against female advancement?
I don’t think so. I think the industry is beginning to accept females and the transition is going smoothly.
What does the rest of 2017 look like? What can we keep an eye out for?
It’s looking bright, me and my team are working strongly together. I can’t do it on my own. With God, 2017 will be one to remember. Greatness can be achieved.

One of the Whistleblowers of the famed Ikoyi billions case has come out to reveal intricate details of his encounter with the Economic and financial crimes commission(EFCC) and the true series of events that occurred, leading to the discovery of over $43 million.
In a video obtained by PoliticsNGR, the whistleblower who goes by the name Abdulmumin Musa, an estate agent, revealed that he has lived in Ikoyi for over 20 years. He claims he regularly took clients to the Osborne towers apartment complex for inspection. He reveals that one of the security guards, Steven, called him one day to talk about something.
Steven informed Abdul that he suspects that a huge cache of money was stashed in Apartment 7 and even told Abdul of his plans to rob the place, But Abdul advised him to hold back and wait. The estate agent continues revealing that a group of bankers were responsible for bringing in the six safes used in keeping the money.
He says a woman was always visiting the apartment to take money. Abdul adds that he decided to report the issue to EFCC. He approached Steven and informed him of the plan to report to EFCC, and also called one of his fellow estate agents, Bala Usman about the plan. Usman introduced Abdul to one Sheriff who works with the EFCC. They reported the issue and nothing was done until a month later.
He expressed surprise when he read the headlines on his phone and decided to ask his fellow whistleblowers if they were contacted by the EFCC, they denied, saying they heard nothing.
He then reveals that he mustered courage to go back to the EFCC and was surprised to know that the EFCC had contacted Steven, he then called Steven to inquire from him, Shockingly Steven admitted meeting with the EFCC and then told Abdul that a ‘quarrel they had in Obalende’ was the reason why he didn’t inform him(Abdul).
Suprised, the estate agent pressed further and Steven revealed to him “that an account number had been sent to the ministry of finance that nothing could be done to include him(Abdul)”.
Steven revealed that he was given N500,000 on the same day of reporting the case and was lodged in a hotel. He then disclosed that he narrowly escaped being assassinated in the hotel after two armed men in suits stormed his hotel room, luckily for him, he was at the reception.
