Shatta Wale has quickly dropped a new diss track to Nigerians and Wizkid, and it’s titled, “Disaster”.

He started when he declared in an interview that Wizkid isn’t a superstar and as thus shouldn’t be regarded higher than Ghanaian Artistes.
“I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste…”.
He then called on Ghanaian artistes to start respecting themselves and stop rating Nigerian artistes high above them.
Dammy Krane, a Nigerian singer, quickly supported the dancehall artiste, and this has caused mixed reactions among Folks on Social Media.

Three Ohio pastors are facing life imprisonment for sex trafficking underage girls.
The Rev. Cordell Jenkins, 47, the Rev. Anthony Haynes, 38, and the Rev. Kenneth Butler, 37, were named in an 11-count superseding indictment handed up Tuesday by a federal grand jury charging them with conspiracy to sex traffic children. All three of them pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Michael Freeman, an assistant U.S. Attorney, told the court that if the men are convicted, prosecutors would recommend sentences of life in prison.
“These three men violated the trust of these children and the communities they purported to serve,” U.S. Attorney Justin E. Herdman said in a news release. “We are grateful for the courage of the victims and the dedication of our law enforcement personnel in bringing these men to justice.”
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, a girl who was just 14 when the conspiracy began in 2014 was sexually assaulted by all three men. Some of the sex acts are believed to have taken place at Greater Life Christian Center where Mr. Haynes was pastor.
Between 2014 and 2017, Mr. Haynes groomed and exploited the girl, used his cell phone to record the sexual assaults, routinely gave her money afterward, and told her not to tell anyone because it could ruin his family and his church, prosecutors say.
Mr. Haynes also is accused of introducing the teen to other men, including Mr. Jenkins, for sexual activity and for sharing pornographic photographs and videos.
Prosecutors allege that between December 2016, and March 2017, Mr. Jenkins sexually exploited the girl at his West Toledo home on Barrington Drive, at his office at Abundant Life Ministries where he was the pastor, and at a motel in Toledo. Prosecutors said he paid her for sex usually between $100 and $300 referring to the payment as “hush money.” Like Mr. Haynes, he’s accused of recording some of the interactions with his cell phone.
Mr. Jenkins is accused of paying for sex acts with a second underage girl in March.
Mr. Butler is charged with trafficking a third underage girl between 2015 and March, 2017. According to court documents, the girl told investigators she met Mr. Butler at Mr. Haynes’ church when she was 15 and he would give her rides to his church in the Detroit area.
The girl said she had sex with Mr. Butler in his car twice and he gave her money once. He later reportedly told her to lie to the FBI if she was questioned about him.
Both Mr. Haynes and Mr. Butler are charged with obstruction of a sex trafficking investigation Mr. Haynes for allegedly trying to destroy electronic evidence of sex trafficking and Mr. Butler for instructing another person to lie and lying himself to law enforcement about his involvement.
At their arraignment Tuesday, U.S. District Court Judge Jack Zouhary asked each of the men to tell him a little bit about their educational and work backgrounds.
Mr. Haynes described himself as “a former pastor,” while Mr. Jenkins said he had “pastored full time” for the past 23 years.
Mr. Butler, pastor of Kingdom Encounter Family Worship Center, did not mention serving as a pastor but said he had worked in a variety of security jobs, most recently as a security guard for Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Mercy Health St. Anne Hospital, and Mercy Health St. Charles Hospital.
In addition to the conspiracy charge, Mr. Butler who was not named in the original indictment filed in April against Mr. Jenkins and Mr. Haynes was indicted on two counts of sex trafficking of children and one count of obstruction of a sex trafficking investigation.
Judge Zouhary scheduled a Jan. 8 status hearing for all three co-defendants, who are to remain in custody.

The Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of not sending him any message to congratulate him on his 57th birthday.
Fayose said he deserved to be sent a congratulatory message from the Presidency as “one of the governors in Nigeria and a leading opposition figure in the country.”
The governor spoke on Wednesday with reporters at the Government House, Ado-Ekiti, the state capital as part of the occasions to mark his 57th birthday.
Fayose said “one of his greatest wishes on his 57th birthday was to have woken up this morning to receive congratulatory message from President Muhammadu Buhari or read such message in the media.”
He said:
“My wishes on my 57th birthday as Ayo Fayose are many but one of them which will interest you is that I wish President Buhari’s congratulatory call would have woken me up today as one of the governors in the country, as a father of the nation and as a leading opposition figure in the country.
“(The President ought to congratulate me as) a fearless young man who believes that things should be done rightly to show himself (Buhari) as a father of all, preaching that we must extend love to everybody not only those in his political party.
“The President would have made a difference if he had extended such gesture to others beyond his political party. Such a congratulatory message should have been conveyed through his Minister of Information.

This video of an angry Nigerian lady who tried to prevent Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) officials from disconnecting her power supply has since gone viral on social media.
The video which shows an angry yoruba woman, identified simply as Iya Deji, a resident of Igbogbo in Ikorodu, Lagos state was released on social media by the Ikeja Electricity PLC.
It wrote:
“In the course of carrying out their lawful duties, our staff are often assaulted by ‘consumers’ who attempt to prevent them from performing their responsibilities.
This video is a typical illustration and it captures an irate woman, a resident of Igbogbo in Ikorodu, threatening to harm an IE staff who was in the process of disconnecting her from power supply because she has consistently failed to pay her electricity bill.
In a show of utter recklessness, she threw caution as well as her dignity and wrapper to the wind, to demonstrate her penchant for violence while raining curses on the member of staff who was only doing his job. She was so incensed that she failed to see the risk of electrocution she exposed herself to by touching the ladder without any protective gear on.
The situation could also have quickly escalated beyond control if the ladder lost its footing and caused our staff serious bodily harm or worse.
It took the intervention of other residents of the community to contain her. Ikeja Electric wishes to remind the general public that we maintain our zero tolerance stance on assault on any member of staff and will not hesitate to seek legal redress against any person who assaults any member of staff. Assault is an offense punishable by Nigerian law and we shall ensure that justice is served on persons found guilty of assaulting our staff.
We have put various channels in place to address customer complaints and we are using this medium to advise aggrieved customers to seek redress through the appropriate channels.”

President Buhari in a statement released by his media aide, Femi Adesina has reacted to the military takeover of power currently happening in Zimbabwe.
Buhari called for calm, peace and respect for the constitution in Zimbabwe and urged all political and military stakeholders in Zimbabwe to avoid any action that may plunge the country into unnecessary conflict and impact negatively on the region.
According to President Buhari, “every attempt must be made to resolve all contentious issues by constitutional means in Zimbabwe to save the country from avoidable political instability.”
His appeal came in the wake of reported “military takeover” as a result of rising political tension in the southern African country sequel to President Robert Mugabe’s recent removal of former Vice-President, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
This led to the threat by the head of the Armed Forces of Zimbabwe, General Constantino Chiwenga, that “the military will not hesitate to step in” when the issue had to do with protecting the “revolution.”

On the streets of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, military vehicles were seen blocking the roads outside the parliament as citizens went about their businesses quietly.
Armed soldiers in armored personnel carriers stationed themselves at key points in Harare, while Zimbabweans formed long lines at banks in order to draw money amid uncertainty following the so-called ‘bloodless transition’ of power.
The military’s action came after former vice-president Emmerson Mnangagwa, 75, a veteran of Zimbabwe’s 1970s liberation wars, was sacked by Mugabe earlier this month.
The dismissal left Mugabe’s wife Grace, 52, in prime position to succeed her husband as the next president – a succession strongly opposed by senior ranks in the military.
Just yesterday, the head of the armed forces Constantino Chiwenga, openly threatened to intervene in politics if Mugabe did not stop removing veterans from government. And true to his words, action was taken today.

According to reports, Nollywood actress, Yvonne Nelson’s baby father, Jamie Harrison is allegedly still married and the wife’s identity has been revealed.
The Nigerian wife has been identified as Keela Harrison, and she’s a fashion model based in the United Kingdom.
Keela says there has not been any divorce yet, the reason why he could not marry Yvonne.

Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, who has ruled the country for over 37 years, since independence from the UK, has been removed from power and his former vice president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, who he sacked some days back, has been installed as an interim president.
The move comes after the Zimbabwe army seized power overnight with gunshots and explosions heard in the capital. The 93-year-old dictator was arrested along with his wife by the army in the capital Harare.
A leading South African news website has reported that Mugabe is now preparing to step down. News24 also claims that he has made negotiations for his wife Grace to leave the country.
Former Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa, 75, who Mugabe fired some days back, will now take power according to the ruling ZANU PDF Party. The party also issued a series of tweets this morning, saying there was not a military coup – just a “bloodless transition”.
The statements read: “Last night the first family was detained and are safe, both for the constitution and the sanity of the nation this was necessary. Neither Zimbabwe nor ZANU are owned by Mugabe and his wife. Today begins a fresh new era and comrade Mnangagwa will help us achieve a better Zimbabwe.”
“There was no coup, only a bloodless transition which saw corrupt and crooked persons being arrested and an elderly man who had been taken advantage of by his wife being detained. The few bangs that were heard were from crooks who were resisting arrest, but they are now detained.
“ZANU PF has a way of solving our own problems, the situation is stable and Zimbabwe is open for business. There was no coup, but a bloodless peaceful transition- the centre is strong and there is peace with honest leadership.”
In other tweets, Zanu PDF Party continued to reiterate that it was not a coup. The situation in the country is tense. Observers report that people are going about their business, taxis are running but everywhere is unusually quiet.

The night’s action triggered speculation of a coup, but the military’s supporters praised it as a “bloodless correction.”

In an address to the nation after taking control of the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, an army spokesman said early Wednesday the military is targeting “criminals” around Mugabe, and sought to reassure the country that order will be restored.
It was not clear where Mugabe, 93, and his wife were Wednesday but it seems they are in the custody of the military. “Their security is guaranteed,” the army spokesman said.
“We wish to make it abundantly clear that this is not a military takeover,” the army statement said. “We are only targeting criminals around (Mugabe) who are committing crimes that are causing social and economic suffering in the country in order to bring them to justice.”
The spokesman added
“as soon as we have accomplished our mission, we expect that the situation will return to normalcy.” The army spokesman called on churches to pray for the nation.
He urged other security forces to “cooperate for the good of our country,” warning that “any provocation will be met with an appropriate response.”
The statement called on troops to return to barracks immediately, with all leave canceled.
Overnight, at least three explosions were heard in the capital, Harare, and military vehicles were seen in the streets.
The military actions appear to put the army in control of the country.
Army commander Constantino Chiwenga had threatened on Monday to “step in” to calm political tensions. Mugabe’s ruling ZANU-PF party responded by accusing the general of “treasonable conduct.” But now Chiwenga appears to be in control.
The army has been praised by the nation’s war veterans for carrying out “a bloodless correction of gross abuse of power.” The military will return Zimbabwe to “genuine democracy” and make the country a “modern model nation,” said Chris Mutsvangwa, chairman of the war veterans’ association, told The Associated Press in Johannesburg.
Mutsvangwa and the war veterans are staunch allies of Emmerson Mnangagwa, who was fired from his post of vice president by Mugabe last week. Mnangagwa fled Zimbabwe last week but said he would return to lead the country.

A 32-year-old woman, Kate Ude, has prayed an FCT High Court, Jabi to dissolve her four-year-old marriage to her husband, Michael Ude, over his “malfunctioning manhood”.
Kate alleged that Michael’s manhood always had inconsistent erection and that anytime the manhood became erect, he ejaculated within few seconds.
She also alleged that the man did not make known his health status before the consummation of the marriage which took place in Calabar, Cross River, in 2014.
The petitioner also said that during her traditional marriage, Michael did not show up as he was represented by his younger brother.
Kate also said that it was at the registry that she got to know him very well and prayed the court to nullify the marriage.
Responding, Michael who also filed a cross petition to divorce the woman, denied all the allegations, when cross examined by the petitioner’s lawyer, Mr Ishaka Awaliene.
“The non-erection of my manhood is not regular, it is just that l am not always in the mood whenever she is in the mood. I don’t use any enhancement drugs for sex as she alleged,’’ he said.
Ude also told the court that there was a period in June 28, 2014, when Kate left his house that she was no longer interested in the marriage.
According to Michael, she later came back after some months and decided to leave again.
Justice Venda adjourned the matter to February 6, 2018 for hearing.
The ‘Tobva Tadii Paya’ artisanal gold miners accused of gang raping suspected prostitutes approached the High Court yesterday applying for an enquiry to have the investigating officer in the matter subpoenaed.
Through their lawyer Tawanda Takaendesa, the suspects Prince Chikomo, Romeo Chirara, and Admire Chirongoma, all aged 18, submitted a medical affidavit that confirmed the suspected prostitutes had genital infections.
Their claim has been backed by a medical affidavit they submitted as evidence which confirmed the complainants were sick with genital warts.
High Court Judge Justice Clemence Phiri ruled that the investigating officer in the matter should appear in court to answer to the issues raised by the trio on whether they were assaulted.
The matter has been set for hearing on Thursday with Justice Phiri indicating he wants to know why the matter has been postponed four times.
