I had no idea that it was stolen. I later found out and I immediately reported the situation on ground to his elder brother, his elder brother asked me to cover him up & said he would scold him once he gets home and promised to sort it out with the owner of the chain as they are family friends.
Before all said & done, I started hearing noises, and the whole situation got out of hand. I was trying to explain but everyone turned deaf ears.
I TOMIWA HAASTRUP IS NOT A THIEF! I was accused wrongly just because I tried to cover up a friend. N.B: please trust nobody! They are not your friends. What if I had died due to the situation on ground. I wouldn’t have been able to clear my name and would have died unjustly! Please kindly repost.

There were rumours claiming that guests who wants to attend the wedding of Nigerian singer Banky W and actress Adesua Etomi have to buy tickets for N35,000 on social media yesterday.
Well, the singer has now taken to micro-blogging website, Twitter to debunk these rumours.
He wrote; “Lol so I hear there are “tickets to the wedding” on sale for 35k. Anyone who believes that, there are some people very ready to sell u other things like “your bvn is blocked” and “I have an Uncle who will dash you $5 mill usd if u wire just 500k”. Good luck!”
So we’ve been keeping up with the hullabaloo with two top notch Nigerian music artistes after the both of them made some recent milestone achievements.

Even recently it looks as though the singer also took a subtle swipe at ‘Mr Frog Voice’ in a tweet about Simi’s song writing skills.
Simi
He tweeted:
“Simi my fav right now! Sweet voice. Girl wey dey write her own songs”
Now, fans think he probably is shading the FIA singer who is rumoured to buy songs from other artists.
A 51-year-old Jadesola Agbalade forwarded a child pornography clip which showed a child being raped, a Dublin court has heard.
She pleaded guilty to one count of knowingly distributing child pornography on July 20, 2016. Garda Enda Ledwith told Karl Finnegan BL, prosecuting, that he arrested a man in Dublin Airport in July 2017 in relation to credit card fraud.
That man’s phone was investigated and the child pornography clip was discovered. The court heard the clip showed a child between the ages of two and five being raped by a man.
Upon further investigation, gardaí discovered it is an international clip that has been in circulation since about 2014. Gardaí traced the phone number from which the clip was sent back to Agbalade.
When they called the number, Agbalade answered and agreed to meet them at Blanchardstown shopping centre. She handed over her phone to gardaí and admitted to receiving the child pornography clip and sending it on.
As well as the male recipient identified by gardaí, she told gardaí she sent the clip to a female friend who has three young children in a bid to warn her “not to leave her children with her boyfriend”.
That lady has never been identified. Agbalade has no previous convictions. Gda Ledwith agreed with Michael Bowman SC, defending, that Agbalade “didn’t understand the enormity of the situation” when she was interviewed.
She told gardaí, “I didn’t know it wasn’t right. I’m sorry.” Mr Bowman told the court it was a “remarkably unusual” case. Mr Bowman said Agbalade has one teenage child still living with her and two adult sons who are in university.
He said she is a single mother who came to Ireland in 2001. He submitted the stigma of a conviction would be punishment enough for Agbalade. “She will now be a sex offender and as a mother, that is a significant stigma in the community,” he said.
Agbalade “comes to the court absolutely aghast at what she has allowed herself to become involved in,” he added. Judge Karen O’Connor ordered a probation report and remanded Agbalade on continuing bail.
The Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), has offered reasons as to why the Federal Government is yet to reward the whistle-blower who informed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of the N13bn in an Ikoyi apartment.
Sagay said the government does not want him to run mad and that the whistle-blower needed to be adequately counselled, hence, the delay in his commission.
The senior advocate said this during an interview with PUNCH on Monday, November 13.
Sagay said if the commission, which the whistle-blower claims is N860m, was given to him immediately; he probably would have squandered it within a month or two.
Sagay said, “What I gathered from my inquiry is that the man is not sufficiently stable to receive such a huge sum of money. He is like someone who will almost run mental when he gets the money and will use it in an irresponsible manner, attracting not only undesirable people but even danger to himself.
“I think what they wanted to do for him was to provide counsellors. Not just counsellors for character and mental situation but counsellors who would be like consultants that would help him to really invest the money and plan in such a way that he doesn’t throw it away in five minutes.
“They are trying to help him. Nobody is denying him anything. They are trying to help him but he just misunderstands the intention and like everyone that has been deprived for a long time, he is so desperate to have it but from what I can see, if they just give him everything, it won’t last more than a month or two because so many people will start finding ways to get to him and taking their portions from him. So, they were just trying to help him but he became hysterical.”
Sagay hailed the Federal Government’s decision to pay the whistle-blower in tranches, adding that such a method of payment would deter him from spending it all at once.
The PACAC chairman said it was also the responsibility of the government to ensure that the whistleblower did not become a nuisance.
He added, “It is better to pay him in tranches. I agree with the government because if not, he will throw it away. This is valuable money that government could have used for millions of unemployed and wretchedly poor people.
“One man is getting it and he just wants it so that he can blow it all in five minutes? No, the government has a responsibility to see that his excitement does not end in seeing the money being thrown away irresponsibly. So, I agree with the government.”
The lawyer of the whistle-blower, Yakubu Galadima, however, said the government’s intentions were suspect.
Galadima wondered why the government did not question his client’s mental capacity when he was giving the EFCC information on the money.
The lawyer said even if his client was mental, he still deserved to be given his due.
He said, “As far as I am concerned, if the money is not paid by the end of this month, I am ready to tell the whole world but if they act favourably, their image will be redeemed.
“Does Prof. Sagay have contact with my client? Doesn’t my client have relatives that can take care of him? Even a mad man is entitled to his estate so what are they talking about? That is not an excuse as far as I am concerned.”
European country, Italy has failed in qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia for the first time since 1958 (60 years) after a 0-0 draw with Sweden in the second leg of their playoff on Monday. The Swedes won 1-0 on aggregate.
Jakob Johansson’s first-leg goal, which beat Italy’s captain Gianluigi Buffon through a deflection, was enough to deny the Azzurri a World cup ticket on Monday evening.
The Swedes are now back at the World Cup having missed out on the previous two tournaments in 2010 and 2014. Italy who last won the World Cup in 2006 will be missing at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, the first time since 1958.
Azzurri captain and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon who was to retire after next year’s World Cup, collected his 175th international cap against the Swedes, which will now probably be his last for Italy.

You can Have sex with a very Handsome, rich n caring dude for about a year and u won’t get pregnant.

So while their fans are lauding their recent achievements, two Nigerian superstars seem to be on a war of shades between each other.
After one had bagged three honorary awards on Sunday, the other was recognized internationally as the best African act for the 2nd time and Best Worldwide Act.
In reaction to his “international” win, the latter took to social media to thank his fans and in course of that, threw a shade at his counterpart and AFRIMA, asking them to keep their awards, insinuating it as a “Local Award” and all. [Watch the Video Here]
Well, in what is apparently a reaction to the internationally recognized artistse, the former has also taken to social media to give a reminder using a metaphor (an emoji) of what he’s always described the latter as…. See below;
Nigerian music superstar, who recently bagged three awards at the AFRIMA 2017, Wizkid’s first baby mama, Ogudu Oluwanishola, shared some lovely photos of herself with their son, Boluwatife.
The pair have always served some serious mother-son goals online – they sure know how to swag up and step out in style. Sharing these beautiful new photos, Shola wrote:
The international media arm of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Radio Biafra, has reportedly resumed operations.
But instead of the fiery rhetoric with which it was associated with, the radio announced the sack of Nnamdi Kanu, as director and leader of IPOB.
The Radio Biafra’s programme started between 6am -7am on Sunday with the lady announcer, who gave her name as Ifeoma Okorafor, stating that the radio was restructuring.
Then the shocking announcement that “Mazi Nnamdi Nwanekaenyi Kanu, the former Director of Radio Biafra is hereby dismissed and removed as Director of Radio Biafra following extensive and intensive consultations”
According to Okorafor, one “Mazi Ezenwachukwu Sampson Okwudili is Kanu’s replacement.”
She reeled out reasons why Kanu was removed to include:
“Personalisation of the Biafran struggle and derailing from the core objectives of IPOB as a grassroots movement.
“Kanu’s actions and his decisions to incite members of IPOB towards violence leading to the death of many innocent young people in Onitsha, Aba and Umuahia is totally unacceptable and grossly irresponsible.
My name is Jackson Ogbonna, a 300level student of economics, University of Ibadan. I am a concerned student and a friend of Dami.
This is a passionate appeal to my fellow students, my mummies and daddies in management, and the general public. I am concerned about my friend, Dami, a 100level student of Philosophy, University of Ibadan. I fear for her wellbeing. I fear for her life.
I believe she needs help. Dami is barely 17years old. She’s a young lady with a bright future ahead of her. But I’m afraid she and is being influenced by some malicious elements.
In my opinion, Dami is passing through a stage in her life that is characterized by a high level of youthful exuberance. Everyone passes through this phase at one time or the other. For some, it comes quite early in life (before teenagehood) and for others (like Dami) it comes later in life.
Lemme tell you a story. I too was a victim of youthful exuberance. Among the many manifestations of such exuberance was theft. And I was very good at it. And quite frankly, I enjoyed it. I felt I was living large. I was beginning to see a life of theft as an ideal lfe. But my story changed on that very day I was caught by my neighbour. It was in the morning. I still remember the “dirty slaps” and flogging I received that day. My parents weren’t even around.
Someone would have thought that at my age, I should have known right from wrong. But what happens when one believes that wrong is right and right is wrong? Even Shakespeare said it that there is nothing right or wrong. Only thinking madng right or wrong. Only thinking made it so.
One of the reasons I overcame this challenge was because the first set of people to discipline me were also the first to counsel me. Indeed, I am a living product of the proverb that says that when elders use their right hand to beat a child, they should use the left to correct that child. My Aunt left Ikoji every weekend for about 3 months just to come and check up on me. This was the same Aunty that slapped me on that fateful morning and my nose started bleeding. I admit, it was really difficult to change. There were times I nearly fell back into the hole. But I didn’t. Not because I was perfect. But because I had people around me. People that never gave up on me. People that were on my matter 24/7
Look at me now. If I could change, I believe Dami can too. But she can’t do it alone. She needs our help. Gossiping about her, or casting aspersions at her will not help.
I remember Imabong (May her loving soul rest in perfect peace). She was a student of Law at the same Univeristy as Dami, in the same level as Dami, and in the same age bracket as Dami. Imabong died because of the same peer pressure and malignant influence. She would have been alive if we were quick to read the signs and come to her aid. But we weren’t and now she’s gone. We cannot rewrite the past. But we can make sure that history doesn’t repeat itself. It’s not too late to save my friend, to save Dami. I believe this is God’s work in motion. I can’t imagine what would have happened to Mary Magdalene had Jesus condemned her too. He wants us to save Dami. He doesn’t her to die before her time. He doesn’t want another 100level student of UI to die again because we chose to ignore her in her darkest hour. He has a bright plan for her future.
To my fellow students, let us rally round her. Not in contempt, but in love. Let us show her that we care. Let us show her that we are one family (the UI family). Let us check up on her frequently. Let us offer benign advice. Let us help Dami during this dark moment in her life.
To our mummies and daddies in management, Dami needs you more than ever. There is an African saying that goes thus, “A child has more than one father and one mother” I believe she need more parental guidance and counselling than punishment (suspension/rustication/SDC) at the moment.
To the general public, let us put Dami in our prayers. For it is only God that can touch her heart.

A 26-year-old man allegedly killed the mother of his one-month-old baby boy for refusing him sex in Midrand, South Africa.
The man, said to be originally from the Eastern Cape, allegedly stabbed his 23-year-old girlfriend, Isabella Dease repeatedly, leaving her body in an open veld in President Park outside Ivory Park, Midrand.
The horrific murder happened on Saturday, 14 days before the start of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.
Charles Dease, the grieving father Isabella (inset) said he wishes a death sentence could be imposed on the man who killed his daughter.
“He deserves a death sentence. It was painful nd traumatic when I saw the bloodied body of my girl.”
He said his daughter had been stabbed several times in the neck, but a police source said her throat had been slit with a kitchen knife.
According to police sources, the man made two statements to the police, in one of the statements confessing to killing his girlfriend.
A source said the man had called the police to report that his girlfriend had been killed by two unknown men driving in a black BMW sedan.
“He said to the police that he left the house with his girlfriend to buy baby clothes in Midrand. He claimed they were accosted by a black BMW with two occupants.
“He said the passenger started to have a conversation with the girlfriend and it appeared the passenger and the mother of his child were acquaintances.”
The source said the man claimed the two men made a U-turn near Grand Central Airport and took them to a secluded area where he was pointed at with a firearm while the occupant dragged his girlfriend out of the car and stabbed her to death.
However, further investigation revealed the statement made to the police was false.
Another source said after hours of interrogation, the man confessed to killing his girlfriend for refusing to have sex with him since she was breastfeeding the infant.
“He confessed and he later showed the police a knife he used to kill her and also his blood-stained clothes. After killing her he rushed to Ivory Park where he changed his black shoes and wore brown ones. We are also trying to find two missing phones of the woman.”
Dease described his daughter as a calm person, very quiet and introverted. He said his daughter studied tourism at Ekurhuleni West College, adding that the family would take care of her child.
On Sunday, family and community members gathered in a corrugated shack to offer prayers. Several family members frantically fought back tears.
Midrand police spokesman Warrant Officer Mmakgomo Semono confirmed a man had been arrested and charged with the murder of his girlfriend.
“The man had earlier given police different stories as to what happened. He will appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court today.”
According to the family, Dease is expected to be buried at GaMatlala village in Limpopo on Saturday.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, yesterday secured the conviction of two former officials of the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, OAGF, Mohammed Dogonyaro Audu (also known as Abdullahi Dogonyaro Mohammed) and Yahaya Ayodeji.
Justice Yusuf Halilu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, sitting in Jabi, Abuja found them guilty of a 10-count charge bordering on criminal conspiracy and complicity in award of contract to the tune of N1billion (One billion naira).
Trouble started for the duo after they allegedly abused their offices by floating companies through which they cornered contracts emanating from the Economic Reforms and Governance Project, ERGP, and Government Integrated Financial Management Information System, GIFMIS, domiciled in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
Audu and Ayodeji had pleaded “not guilty” to the charges when they were arraigned on May 26, 2015, thereby setting the stage for their trial.
In the course of the trial, counsel to the EFCC, Cosmas Ugwu, presented three witnesses and tendered relevant documents which were all admitted in evidence.
Delivering his judgment, Justice Halilu said the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt adding that, as public servants, the convicts abused their offices.
“I am not expected to remove or add anything before me. They (Audu and Ayodeji) took advantage of their offices and did what they did. For me, I do what my conscience and the law directs me to do”, the judge ruled.
He thereafter found Audu guilty on counts 1 to 10 and sentenced him to seven years on each count without an option of fine. Ayodeji was found guilty on counts 1, 3, 4, 5 and 9 and also sentenced to seven years on each count.
The spouse of the General Overseer of The Victorious Army Ministries International in Lagos, Pastor (Mrs.) Blessing Agboli, has debunked the claims that most church leaders with private jets acquired them using the tithes and offerings gathered from their members.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, Pastor Agboli stated that private jets are so expensive that no amount of tithes and offering can buy them.
In her own words,
“Offerings cannot buy private jets. You cannot just park a jet without making a business out of it. Owning a private jet is not a sin and those who have them should never be apologetic. I don’t think offerings can buy jets. I don’t think pastors also should apologize for making and spending money. That we are pastors does not mean we should be poor.” she said.

There have been mixed reactions over the embarrassing slip of Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay – she fell on the stage while performing – at the AFRIMA in Lagos yesterday.
With many of her fans lauding her bounce back and continuing with the show like nothing even happened, Nigerian music mogul, 2Baba also hailed her for her professionalism.
The fall had obviously daunted Seyi Shay as she took to her Instagram page after her performance to write “The Devil is a liar…as a professional the show must go on”
The “Holy Holy” crooner had then jumped on the post to cheer the songstress, lauding her as a professional who handled the fall expertly. 2Baba had been at close range to the stage where he saw everything as it happened.
“I love the way you handled it… Real professional” – 2Baba wrote putting an end to Seyi’s misery…
Davido has mocked the AFRIMA Awards, after Wizkid beat him to win the Best Male Artiste in Western Africa, and Artiste of the Year.

Nollywood Actress, Toyin Abraham, has talked about her past, and has opened up on how she abused hard drugs like marijuana and codeine.
The actress made the disclosure at the 2017 edition of Success Story Africa, held at the TLC Auditorium, Lagos, on Sunday.
“You need to stop bad habits. I was involved in a lot of vices and it became worse last year,” she said at the event.
“I did drugs and I am not ashamed to say it because it’s now a thing of the past. They say codeine makes you high; I took a lot. I smoked a lot and I didn’t even know I looked horrible, because I was so skinny.
“If you came to my house last year, you would meet a lot of people and you wont want to leave because we smoked, gossiped about people and what have you.”
The actress also revealed that she once hawked plantain chips to help feed her family.
She said growing up was not easy for her because her family was not financially buoyant, although things worked out for them because they worked hard and were “spiritually buoyant”.
She also talked about the mistakes she has made in the entertainment industry and how she has not let the negativity shape her.
“I made a lot of mistakes when I began acting and that was because I did not have plans. I just wanted to be known.
“But, I now know that being popular isn’t the same thing as being successful. When I got into the industry and the fame became too much, I became irresponsible.
“I could not boast of N1 million in 2016. I was making money and I wanted to feel among. When one of our colleagues bought a car, it was trouble because we all strove to buy the same car or a bigger one.
“I had to change my circle for good and this change started in March 2017.”
Previously called Toyin Aimakhu, the actress changed her name to Toyin Abraham in December 2016.
The well-attended event also featured inspiring speeches by ace comedian, Bovi Ugboma; and Commissioner for Information, Ogun State, Dayo Adeneye, among other speakers.

There seems to be an extreme level of Freedom in South Africa, as Secondary school students are allowed to display PDA without fear of being reprimanded by adults.
A Boy Identified as Sosa Vaughn, shared photos of himself kissing his “Ex-Girlfriend” in public and wrote on his Instagram; “I’m Back Flexing with my ex”.
Sosa immediately took down the photos, after the serious bashing he received from the online community.
While many felt it was so cute, others say he is too young to engaged in such PDA. He pulled down the photo…. But rather than being remorseful for days or perhaps stay off social media till he grows up, he returns again later and posted a photo of himself with the caption;
“I’m finna stop flex on my ex and get back flexing with her”.
We have seen incidences like this from that part of Africa in recent times.
