Helena High School sent the teenager home for her inappropriate attire after another student complained that the way she was dressed made them feel uncomfortable. Following controversies that had trailed his son, Jide’s death, the national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has disclosed that the deceased died of cardiac arrest.
Tinubu’s clarification on his son’s death came barely 24 hours after departing Lagos with his wife, Oluremi, who is chairman, senate committee on Environment, for London to visit the family of deceased.
The former governor, in a statement by his media aide, Tunde Rahman, on Friday, described his son’s death as a reminder except GOD, no human have knowledge of his last day on earth.
“My son was a highly intelligent person with a vibrant personality and a zest for life. He followed his own course and made his own way on his own terms. Those who knew him could not help but like him. Yet, he was taken away by cardiac arrest when it seemed he had so much life to still live.

Felicia Ifeanyi, an undergraduate of the Abia State College of Health, Science and Management Technology, Aba, on Friday, gave birth to a set of triplets at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
According to Punch, Felicia, a resident of Uhet, Cross River State, said she did not expect to give birth to triplets, adding that they were gift from God. The joyous mother, whose husband is jobless, however, said she does not have the wherewithal to cater for the babies.
The mother of three, who just started schooling last year, therefore, called on government to come to their rescue. Her excited husband, Okechuku, revealed that God gave them the babies without them asking for them.
Dr Ezekiel Mutua, who is responsible for TV and film censorship in Kenya, has blamed gay men for the actions of two lions recent photgraphed getting intimate in Kenya’s Masai Mara.
The two male lions were seen engaging in a love-making session that lasted for at least a minute. Mutua saw the photo and said gay men who visit the national park are responsible for influencing the animals’ behaviour. .
He also called for the two lions in question to be caught and kept in isolation until scientists can “determine how they acquired homosexual behaviour”.
Homosexuality among certain animals, including lions, has been observed for decades and is believed to be a natural occurence, but Dr Mutua is convinced that the only way the lions learnt that is either by seeing gay men having sex in front of them, or the lions have been possessed by demons.
“These animals need counseling, because probably they have been influenced by gays who have gone to the national parks and behaved badly,” Dr Mutua told Nairobi News.
“They must have copied it from somewhere or it is demonic. Because these animals do not watch movies.” The images of the lions getting intimate were taken by London-based photographer Paul Goldstein during a trip to the Masai Mara.
The lions had walked into some bushes to get some privacy and that was when Goldstein saw them. He said he first observed the two lions standing side-by-side, before one lay down and was gently mounted by the other.
Mr Goldstein says: “When lions mate it normally last a few seconds, these two were at it for over a minute and the obvious affection afterwards was very evident, as opposed to the violent withdrawal when male and female mate.
Even as he dismounted he did not back off as is normal after mating, he crept round to the other male’s muzzle, for a nuzzle and threw a conspiratorial wink his way.”

Chief Magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, gave the order when the defendant appeared before him on a one-count charge of murder.
Elias ordered that the case file be duplicated and sent to the office of the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPPs) while the accused should remain at the Ikoyi Prisons pending a legal advice.
He adjourned the case to Dec. 12.
Earlier, the Police Prosecutor, Sgt. Kehinde Omisakin, had told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Oct. 16 at 9.00 a.m. at No. 34, Road K, Close, Gowon Estate, Egbeda.
She said that the accused had stabbed her boyfriend, Tomide Akintewe, 20, on his chest with a pair of scissors, resulting in bleeding that claimed his life.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 222 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, which prescribes a death sentence for convicts.

Nigerian actress, Caroline Danjuma has taken to social media to react to a notification she got this morning on Lekki concession centre’s plan to increase toll gate fare.
She took to her Instagram page to share a picture of the Lekki Concession Centre, informing Lagos motorists of their plan to increase the fare on Admiralty toll gate and Lekki-Ikoyi Link bridge toll gate from November 8th 2017.

Nathan Hrdlicka who has no things due to a rare medical condition he was born with has finally found love on Facebook.
Nathan is 1.37m (4ft 6in) tall – has been called a ‘midget’ but is now happy in a loving relationship with girlfriend Chelsee Stuart.
When 34-year-old Nathan, from Santa Fe, New Mexico, met 19-year-old Chelsee – who is at least a foot taller than him – online, she initially saw his height as a ‘problem’.
But then she fell in love with him and has seen past his disability.
The couple have revealed their height difference draws stares but people can see they are in love.
Nathan is one of just 25 people in the world born with tbilateral proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD) type D – which means his knee bones are directly beneath his hip bones.
He is the only person with the disease who has been able to walk despite the challenges.
Nathan met Chelsee on Facebook on a healing page and they hit it off immediately – despite Chelsee’s initial problem with their height difference.
Chelsee said: “When we first met I did think the height difference was going to be a sort of problem because this was my first time really being with someone that shorter than me.
‘It took us a lot of time to really learn what works and what doesn’t work but eventually now everything works.’
But she says she has learnt to accept him for who he is – and the limitations of their relationship.
‘One of the biggest challenges that we faced together is I’m a super, super physical person,’ she explained.
‘I like to go hiking and exploring in the woods and so it would be awesome to do that with my best friend but since endurance is tough on him, he can’t really keep up.
‘I have to find other people to do those activities with.’
Nathan is clearly smitten and says Chelsee is a supportive partner.
‘Chelsee supports me emotionally as a friend in a way that I never had in my life,’ he said.
‘When I am sick she is there making sure there is everything she can do to make me feel better. Whether it is just to put a smile on my face or a glass of cold water. ‘
The couple say that they do get stares when they go out together, but that people can tell they are in love.

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have arrested three suspects for alleged attempt to smuggle drugs in and out of the country.
John Ifechukwu and Victor Anadu were intercepted at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja. They reportedly swallowed 65 and 54 wraps of substances to conceal the drug.
The spokesperson for the NDLEA, Jonah Achemah, also said a 37-year-old woman, Omotayo Anifowoshe, was also arrested at the local wing of the Lagos airport with 3.0 kilogrammes of ephedrine and 1.9kg of cocaine.
Achemah said, “Ifechukwu flew in from Lagos and was intercepted at the airport in Abuja. He excreted 65 wraps of substances weighing 864 grammes out of which only one wrap tested positive for methamphetamine. He was on his way to Indonesia.
Anadu was intercepted on his way to Indonesia. He excreted 54 wraps weighing 1,073.4 kilogrammes of suspected substances out of which 700 grammes tested positive for methamphetamine. The remaining 373.4 grammes did not test positive for any known drug.”
Anifowoshe, 37, an indigene of Epe, Lagos State, was arrested moments after landing in Lagos and was to connect her flight to South Africa through a short cut linking the local airport to the international airport, after successfully boycotting security screening point.
Achema said: “She was intercepted with two big bags containing 3kgs of Ephedrine and 1.9kgs of Cocaine base. The drugs were concealed in the false bottom of the bags. She confessed that the luggage was handed to her by her fiancé at whose instance was the trip.”
Apostle John Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries has warned the Zambian government against ‘attacking’ his pastors that work in their country.
Pandemonium broke out on Tuesday, October 31st, as men of the Zambian police and officials of the Zambian Immigration service, stormed the home of the pastor of Omega Fire Ministries in Lusaka, Austine Obosele, a Nigerian, to deport him back to Nigeria. They accused him of staying in their country despite the expiration of his employment permit.
Obosele who has reportedly been deported back to Nigeria, accused some of the Zambian government officials of attacking him because he refused to give them a bribe.
Obosele told Zambian press that he had been trying to renew his immigration documentation but that a senior official from the Ministry of Religious National Guidance had vowed to see to it that he was deported after he refused to give him K30, 000 as bribe.
Obosele alleged that some expelled members of the church had also teamed up with the government officials so that they could take over the church, money in the church account and properties after his deportation.
He said that some suspended members of the church had reported falsehoods about him to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and National Guidance, which they investigated but did not find any fault.
“I got a call from one man from Religious Affairs. This man can call thirty times in one minute, I don’t know how much they gave him. I went to the office to see him at his office, there he accused me of a lot and lots of things. From there he told me that I needed to cooperate with him because my deportation order is already on his table. He said if I don’t cooperate he would have me deported and I should give him K30, 000, to which I questioned whether it was his ministry that deported people,” he said
Pastor Obosele said that when his documents were up for renewal, he submitted to the Immigration but that he had found it difficult as was promised to get his papers cleared.
Reacting to the attack on Obosele, the founder of the church, Apostle Suleiman in a statement released yesterday, accused the Zambian government of always allowing foreigners to start big investments in the country, grow the investment and later deport them so that Zambians can take over the investments.
He added that Nigerians were the biggest investors in Zambia. He warned that when small little known countries like Zambia continue doing such to foreign investors, no investment will come into the country.
According to him, his church in Zambia has grown so much that it is attracting attention and now the state wants to fight it.
“If you fight my pastor, you are fighting me. And if you fight me, wait for the results, there will be problems. There will be reactions. Its not the best thing to do. When you do this, you send signals around the world. I am saying this because I know they are watching me. There are people you touch and things will just spoil.” he said

The Qatari-based sports company had earlier issued a memo to the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) stating that they have no content distributorship agreement with TSTV; thus, making distributing their contents on its platform an illegal activity.

According to the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige, about 7 million jobs have so far been created by President Buhari‘s administration.
Dr. Ngige who spoke with State House reporters after meeting with President Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja insisted that the creation of ‘blue collar’ jobs received a boost because of the economic diversification policy of the government.
He pointed out that no administration in the history of Nigeria had surpassed that of Pres. Buhari, in job creation.
He said:
“We promised jobs when we came on board, but what has happened is that people tried to quantify jobs in terms of ‘white collar’ jobs for graduates from universities, polytechnic but they don’t want to look at the ‘blue collar’ jobs.
Agriculture and its chains alone have created more than five to seven million jobs. I am talking in terms of rice from rice tilling, harvesting, sending to the paddies, mills, and even where people are making the jut bags, transportations, people are getting jobs.
So, that value chain alone from agriculture is enormous. Take the N-power, we have created millions of jobs from here, skill acquisition from the National Directorate of Employment(NDE) and other agencies of government, jobs are being created.
We give them tools as plumbers, electricians, cosmetologists, shoe makers, tilers and several other areas. We have created several jobs.”

A Hawaii judge has reportedly forced a man to write a hundred and forty nice things about his ex-girlfriend after he violated his protection order his girlfriend had against him.
“For every nasty thing you said about her, you’re going to say a nice thing,” 2nd Circuit Judge Rhonda Loo told 30-year-old Daren Young. She added, “No repeating words.”
Back in February, Young was ordered to stop contacting his ex. But he broke the rules 144 times, literally, by sending her a mass amount of texts and calls within three hours. His punishment was 157 days in jail, according to Maui News.
