One Bashir Usman an indigent poor tricyclist/Keke Napep rider that stays in Narguta area in Jos, Plateau state – yesterday returned the sum of 582, 400 (Five Hundred and eighty two thousand four hundred naira) a trader Mama Ejimeh forgot in his tricycle on Saturday.
According to journalist Bello Lukman, Bashir on realizing the money in his tricycle yesterday went back to Yan Kwallli where he picked her and traced her shop to the delight of Mama Ejimeh who had been in tears since Saturday.
Bashir’s wife who counted the money on Saturday encouraged him to return the money.
The Kano Police Command has arrested a syndicate of fraudsters, one Jessy of Mubi, Adamawa State and his girlfriend, Jennifer, of Bauchi State.
They specialize in disguising as traders, purchase goods in Kano markets and pay with fake credit alerts. They are presently under discreet investigation.

Aunty Kemi had written about getting feelers from close sources on the alleged intimate relationship between the Pastor, David Ibiyeomie and actress Iyabo Ojo – this wasn’t business as usual… as the article had landed her in prison!
Later on, she was bailed more than two months after she was picked up from her home in Ibadan and according to her, the defamation case was far from over.
All seemed to go well, as she went on about her social media critique business until October 12 when she had exclaimed to her internet fans and Nigerians in general, that she had to go to court again and from the look of things she would have to stay another night at the court prison.
She made it clear then that she felt unsafe and that was the last we heard of Aunty Kemi Omololu Olunloyo! – it’s been over three weeks now and we’re wondering, where is Kemi Olunloyo?
28-year-old Kanisha Anthony is a burn survivor, and she was told she’d never bare children, but here she is, a mother of three kids.
Kanisha has been through more trauma than most women her age, yet she has a positive outlook on life in spite of them.
At age 4, she was trapped in a house fire at the age of 4. Two of her brothers died in the fire while Kanisha, her mother, and one of her brothers survived miraculously.
It’s a surprise she survived because her heart stopped beating for about 4 minutes immediately following the fire incident.
She lost 4 of her fingers, an ear, and all of her hair in the fire. She also had burns on over 60% of her body, including on her stomach and she was told she could never have children. But as God would have it, she conceived.
She was then told that the burnt skin of her tummy could not stretch to accommodate children. She went ahead to carry the pregnancy to term though she had to live with daily excruciating pain as her tummy stretched.
Kanisha had the courage to go through this pain, not once, but three times. Now, she inspires others to look beyond their scars and learn to live without fear of what people will think. She will soon release her new book sharing her story with the world.
Nyeri Governor, Wahome Gakuru died in a terrible road accident that immediately claimed his live, yesterday morning, along Thika-Murang’a road while heading to Nairobi for a talk show.
Nyeri County Assembly Speaker John Kaguchia has confirmed that the Governor, his driver and bodyguard suffered serious injuries after the early morning accident and were rushed to the hospital.
The Governor was rushed to Thika Level 5 hospital awaiting a transfer to a Nairobi Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Governor Wahome’s body has been taken to Lee funeral home as the other two are admitted to hospital. He was born in 1966.
Nyeri Senator Ephraim Maina described the late Gakuru as a kind man who had the interests of Nyeri at heart.
“He was a hardworking man who had a good plan for Nyeri County. He was committed to cleaning the system and it is sad that we have lost him.
“We thank God for the time we had with him,” stated Mr Maina.

We brought you reports about the sad demise of an Auchi Polytechnic Graduate, Uloko Lawrenta Apaume whose life was cut short, after she was killed by a stray bullet fired from a Vigilante’s gun.
The Edo State Police Command has launched investigation into the death of the deceased.
She was allegedly killed by a stray bullet fired by members of the vigilante invited by her landlord on Friday, a day after graduating from the Polytechnic.

It was gathered that the landlord of the hostel invited vigilantes to the hostel to provide security for HND graduates celebrating their graduation.
But in the course of the celebration, the vigilantes started firing into the air to celebrate with the graduands and a stray bullet hit Apaume.
A course mate of the late Apaume wholived in Port Harcourt, described her as an easy-going person who was looking forward to serve her compulsory National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) programme with great expectation.
“She always say she can’t wait to don the NYSC Khaki uniform,” she added.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Rachael Oniga, recently had a chat with Olusola Ricketts of Punch ng, about her failed marriage. On how she coped as a single mother of three, she said: “My first born, Olamide, was four years old when I left my marriage.
I had to put them all in boarding schools. That is one of the most painful things I have had to do. Whenever I talk about this, it always brings me close to tears. My children paid the price for something they knew nothing about.
The factor (her late husband married another woman) that led to the end of my marriage made me determined to prove to him (ex-husband) that I could stand without any man.
I was not ready to give any other man the chance to be a hindrance to my children and me. I also made up my mind that I would dedicate my life totally to my children. I toughened my heart and blocked every opportunity to go into any relationship.
I saw myself as equal to any man, regardless of how much money he might have. I didn’t want any man to treat my children badly. I was working for my money and I put my kids in good schools. So, what do I need a man for?
I felt all men just wanted was to see the beauty of a woman and walk away. With what my ex-husband did to me, you expect me to trust men again? Before we got separated, he was a good and ideal man.
But he married another woman and I moved on. But I miss the whole union thing, friendship and sharing things together. My advice to young ladies is to keep and fight for their marriages.
Perhaps, I was naïve; I never fought for what was mine, but I still thank God. He made many failed attempts at reconciliation. He knew the type of person I am; that when I say no, it is no.
Before death took him (ex-husband) away, he called many times. It was my mistake. I should have fought for my marriage. Any young lady must try her best and fight for her marriage. My decision at that time might not have been the best, but I still thank God. I have my regrets too as a human being.”
Davido has reacted to Meek Mill’s sentence, after the latter was sentenced to 2-4 years imprisonment after violating his probation multiple times.

Foreign Rapper, Meek Mill appeared in a Philadelphia court on Monday where the judge sentenced him to 2-4 years in state prison for violating probation from his 2009 drug and weapons case, when he got arrested in a St. Louis airport for getting into a fight with an airport employee.
The judge also cited another probation violation when he got arrested for reckless driving in New York City. Even though both cases were dropped, the judge said getting arrested alone violated his probation.
Meek was immediately arrested while in court and remanded into custody.
It should be recalled that the rapper got off with a house arrest when he violated his probation in 2015, but the judge wasn’t so lenient yesterday.
It should be noted that Meek Mill walked into the Philadelphia court room on Monday with just his lawyer and was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment, and now, Nigerian singer, Davido has reacted to him walking alone while many guys are around him when he parties.
“Meek, Keep ya head up Big Bro! Small thing to a Giant” Davido started off his rant. He continued: “Crazy how meek be in the club with a 100 nigg*s, but walking into that courtroom alone!! Says a lot about life.”

Meek was sentenced to 2 to 4 years for violating probation, but one of his attorneys, Joe Tacopina, tells TMZ … even prosecutors had recommended no jail time.
According to Tacopina, Meek and the the judge are from the same part of Philly and know some of the same people.
Tacopina says the judge suggested to Meek — during a meeting in chambers last year — he do a remake of Boyz II Men’s, “On Bended Knee” … and give her, the judge, a shout-out. Meek thought she was kidding and laughed.
Tacopina claims she said, “I’m not kidding,” and when Meek refused to do it, she replied … “Okay, suit yourself.”
Meek’s lawyer believes the judge showed clear bias with her stiff sentence, and says they plan to appeal.

A brand new Prado Sport Utility Vehicle has been engulfed by fire on the road in the federal capital, Abuja – it caught fire along the federal highway at a location adjacent to the Federal Secretariat in Abuja at about 8.30 a.m. on Monday.
According to a report by Premium Times, the driver tried to stop the fire without success, and for almost half an hour the vehicle burnt as other drivers went about their businesses.
Officials of the fire service later arrived at the scene after the vehicle had completely been engulfed in flames.

The most recent it added was an ‘Unsend’ (Delete for everyone) feature that lets you recall messages you wish not to send on second thought.
But the instant messenger packs a number of features that most likely go unused because the user has not taken out time to explore.
Here are five features Whatsapp has to make your messaging experience richer.
Star feature
In your chat messages, you can star messages which helps you easily find a message when you need to. To star a message, just hold down the message and tap the star icon on the top screen. You can then get back the message in the app’s main menu anytime you wish.
Pinning feature
This is especially useful if you have a long list of chat messages. Pinning a particular chat like you would do a tweet would take that chat message up for easy re-visiting. And if you want to let go pinning, unpinning is as easy as holding down the chat and locating the ‘Unpin’ button at the top bar.
Mark as Unread
Where you have read a message but for some reason don’t have time to reply the person, you can mark the message as ‘Unread’ by holding down the chat , going to the three dotted lines at the top right, and selecting ‘’Mark as unread’’. A green circle will appear beside the particular chat as a reminder.
Using your phone assistants
For those who don’t like typing, you could employ the services of your virtual assistants – Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa to type the message for you.
For example, by uttering the command ‘’Ok Google’’, followed by the name of the person you want to message and the actual contents of the message.
Custom notifications
If you’re expecting an important WhatsApp message from someone, set a custom notification for them by opening the chat, tapping their name at the top and hitting Custom Notifications. Cool right?
Bonus: You can avoid the blue ticks and ‘Last seen’ features by going into Settings > Account > Privacy > Read Receipts. However, bear in mind that, by doing so, you’ll lose the ability to see when your own sent messages have been read.
Also, another clever way of reading your messages without triggering the blue ticks, is by enabling Airplane mode before opening your messages. – just remember to close the app before switching airplane mode off again.

Recall, in a statement made available by his record label, Graftin, the incident happened at about 11 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2017, during the Buckwyld and Breathless concert where he also performed.
The robbers, 4 in number, gained access into Mr. 2Kay’s room after he mistook one of them for room service. They forced their way into his room and waved a gun with threats to shoot him if he made a noise.
Mr. 2Kay, who was in the room with a friend, struggled with one of the robbers, as the others punched and hit him with a gun, repeatedly warning that they will shoot if he doesn’t calm down.
One of the robbers led and locked 2Kay’s friend in the bathroom, while the others tied the singer’s arms, legs and mouth and took his valuables including jewelry, clothes, perfumes, phones, and money. They also cut the room’s intercom (phone) to avoid any form of communication as they left the hotel.
The hotel authorities and police have taken statements for investigation, while Mr. 2Kay is getting medical attention for his wounds. “I was quite shocked when I got to Mr. 2Kay’s room last night.
This was somebody I watched perform some minutes before the incident. Anyway, the hotel authorities and police are already investigating the incident and we hope they’ll apprehend the criminals as soon as possible,” said James Silas, Manager of Grafton Records.

Fanroi Mochachi, 45, was caught having sex with his neighbour’s puppy, eight-month-old Blackie, after her 10-year-old owner and his uncle the animal howling in a communal garden in South Africa.
Mochachi claimed he had caught two dogs mating on his way to a shared toilet. He was overcome by temptation, chased the male mutt away and had sex with the female one.
A magistrate branded the dad’s disgusting session as “serious, unnatural and barbaric”. “Worse still is that you are married and a role model to your six children,” Syta Prinsloo told him.
“Upsetting is that you will be expected to engage sexually with your wife, how will you explain this to her?” The magistrate said vile Mochachi’s actions and those of others like him – who had uncontrollable desires to sleep with any female, child or animal – were shameful and must be stopped.

The book of Deuteronomy 14:22-26, when speaking about paying tithes, instructs us to take our tithe to the place the LORD has chosen, and if the place is too far, we are instructed to sell the portion of our tithe and use it to buy anything our heart desires, listing alcohol as one of the items that could be bought with our tithe. The King James Version says ‘strong drink’, the Holmans Bible says ‘beer’ while the new international version specifies ‘fermented drink’.
