A Twitter user @opecole publicly called out a Nigerian guy who he accused of stealing his phone and accessing his bank account, using the banking details stored on the phone.
He shared the guy’s pics along with banking transactions he claims not to have authorized.
The said thief then took to his page some minutes ago to react to the allegations against him – according to him, he knows nothing about the whole saga.
He wrote on his page:
Woke up this morning after receiving call from someone that I scammed someone and am online, I didn’t take it serious at first because I didn’t scam any one.. I don’t know anything about the transaction, I lost my card a day before , mid night of Friday I saw a strange credit and debit on my account of which I called Fcmb help center to block my card immediately, yesterday an unknown number called me to threaten me, which I took as a Scammer trying to make money from me.
He also said:
I don’t know anything about this please…. The person as been calling me with private number, I don’t even have your account details or know anything about you, I have never stolen a phone, I run a clothing Business
President Muhammadu Buhari is quite grieved upon learning of the passing away of Jide Tinubu, eldest son of the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
In a telephone call on Wednesday night to Asiwaju Tinubu, the President on behalf of the Federal Government and his family offered his deepest condolences to the Tinubu family over the loss of Jide.
Describing the transition of Jide as “sad and painful”, the President said that the nation has been denied the services and potentials of the resourceful lawyer.
He prayed that God will grant the Tinubu family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and comfort all who mourn the passage of the promising gentleman.
Ghanaian movie producer, Francis Dzogbetsi became a trending topic some hours ago after photos of his baby with its name surfaced online – the baby is named “Google Ahmed Banda“.
The producer has now explained why he gave the newly born baby the name, ‘Google’ – in a chat with Zionfelix.net, Dzogbetsi said that his son was also named after popular music and movie producer and business tycoon, Ahmed Banda.
Google Ahmed Banda was born on October 10, 2017. Explaining why the boy is called Google, Dzogbetsi said “he is going to be my researcher. I’m not educated and I’ve been searching everything I want to know on google. I’ve always planned to name my first child Google so that he/she helps in researching”.
A 37-year-old Cameroonian national has died in his lover’s home in Ogboinbiri community of the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The death of the Cameroonian, identified simply as Dr Charles, a patent medicine dealer, had reportedly aroused controversy.
Two different accounts of the incident were given by residents of the community.
Some indigenes of Ogboinbiri community claimed that the Cameroonian died after an alleged sex romp with his 35-year-old lover, an indigene of the community.
But another account claimed that Charles, who was allegedly ill from an unidentified ailment, slumped as soon as he entered the house.
He reportedly died before he could be rushed to Zia-Ngo Health Centre, the only public health facility in the community.
A community source said Charles’ corpse had been deposited in the morgue of the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, the state capital.
“The death of Charles is a mystery. Everyone heard that he was ill, but nobody could confirm if they had sex, which triggered the death,” the source said.
Indigenes of the community were said to have reported the matter at the Oporoma Police Division.
It was learnt that the Divisional Police Officer, along with five policemen, had visited the house where the incident took place.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Command, Mr. Asinim Butswat, confirmed the incident.
Butswat, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the preliminary report available to the command revealed that the deceased Cameroonian died of a natural cause.
“The report indicated that he was ill and slumped. He was said to have died before getting to the community health centre,” the police spokesman said.
A report by African Health Development Initiative on Facebook, reveals how one ‘Christopher Ojika aka ‘Scanner’ was shot in the chest and stomach on Saturday 28th October 2017 at about 4pm.
The gentleman was shot as he returned from an ATM where he went to withdraw money to fix his vehicle which was being attended to at a nearby mechanic workshop.
According to their report, Christopher was then rushed to hospitals by a good Samaritan, but was rejected from each hospital till he lost his life at the wee hours of the day he died.
The report also states that Christopher left his wife, who is with child.
Their report says,
This happened in Port Harcourt Metropolis, Port Harcourt is too rough you might say but it might interest you to know that it was not the gunman’s bullet that killed the fine young gentleman who was so full of promise. It was the rot in our Healthcare Delivery System, the Health Worker’s poor attitude to work, total disregard to the Hippocratic/Florence Nightingale’s oaths and our total disregard for human life’.
‘The young man having been shot fell on the floor and was calling for help, everyone took off in a million directions and fortunately a brave Good Samaritan decided to assist the young man who identified himself and asked to be rushed to First Rivers Hospital where he received treatment under his company cover.
Upon arriving the hospital he was not attended to, he even identified some nursing staff at the facility who had attended to him in he last and beckoned on them to help him, his appeal fell on deaf ears as a doctor came out and asked that he be referred.
Those attempting to help the young man decided to rush him down to the Military Hospital Port Harcourt believing that will be the ‘best’ place for gunshot wounds to be attended to. Alas they were wrong as first aid was administered and he was referred to The Teaching Hospital……
At this point I can only say that Mr Christopher was confirmed dead at about 3am, he had remained conscious while waiting to be taken to the theatre and died 11 hours after being shot without being operated on……
Money was not a problem as everything requested for was provided……

The manner in which Jide Tinubu, first son of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, died has been revealed.
According to a member of the Tinubu family, who asked not to be named because of the sensitive nature of the matter, Jide suddenly collapsed and died from what was suspected to be a heart attack around 9 pm on Tuesday.
“However, after the incidence, close family members rushed him down to hospital on Lagos Island where he was confirmed dead on arrival,” the source told journalists in Lagos
He added that the tragic news was kept secret because the father, Bola Tinubu, was in Abuja for the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of his party, the APC.
Chairman of APC in Lagos, Otunba Henry Ajomale confirmed Jide’s death in a short statement he (Ajomale) issued on Wednesday.
“It’s with regrets that I inform you of the demise of Mr. Jide Tinubu, the Son of Our dear and esteemed Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the statement said.

Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lost his son, Jide to the cold hands of death.
The cause of the death is unknown, but a statement by Chairman of Lagos State faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC reads:
“It’s with regrets that I inform you of the demise of Mr. Jide Tinubu, the Son of Our dear and esteemed Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”
Late Jide was a law graduate of the University of Liverpool, England. He obtained a Masters degree in Maritime Law from the University of London and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999.
The late lawyer had served as Promoter of TSL Limited and also worked in the Legal Department of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited from January 2000 to September 2001.
Prior to this, he had brief stints with Cargo Maritime in Paris, France, a firm of shipbrokers that specialized in petroleum product tankers, and Ocean and Oil Services Ltd.

A 14-year-old model from Russia, Vlada Dzyuba went into coma after a 13-hour fashion show in Shanghai, China on Wednesday but died on Friday, October 20 after she was rushed to the hospital.
According to the Siberian Times, the model had been on a three-month assignment in China, during which she was only supposed to work three hours a week.
However, her modeling contract kept her working much longer.
Well, Elvira Zaitseva, head of Vlada’s modeling agency Perm, told Daily Mail:
“No-one expected it to lead to such consequences,” We are now reaping what we have sown.”
The causes of Vlada’s death are believed to be meningitis and exhaustion. Soon before walking in the show where she collapsed, she had a high temperature. She was scared to go to the hospital and didn’t have medical insurance. “She was calling me, saying ‘Mama, I am so tired. I so much want to sleep.’ It must have been the very beginning of the illness,” her mother Oksana told NTV, according to the International Business Times. “And then her temperature shot up. I didn’t sleep myself and was calling her constantly, begging her to go to the hospital.”
Oksana was unable to obtain a visa to see Vlada before she passed away, according to The Daily Mail. Police are now investigating what caused her death.

An Egyptian lawyer, Nabih al-Wahsh’s, has sparked outrage after he said that harassing and raping girls who wear revealing clothes such as ripped jeans is a “patrotic and national duty”.
Mr al-Wahsh made the controversial statement during a debate over a draft law on prostitution on Al-Assema TV panel show broadcast early last month.
“Girls must respect themselves so others respect them. Protecting morals is more important than protecting borders
“Are you happy when you see a girl walking down the street with half of her behind showing?”
“I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass her and a national duty to rape her.” al-Wahsh said
These comments have prompted fury across the country as Egypt’s National Council for Women announced it plans to file a complaint against the TV channel and issued a plea for media outlets to refrain from providing a platform for individuals who incite violence against women.
The National Council also said it would be filing a complaint against Mr al-Wahsh himself and rebuked his assertion. A spokesman said in a statement:
“All the members of the council denounce and decry this statement that explicitly promotes rape and sexual harassment.”
Mr al-Wahsh, a prominent conservative has previously stated his opposition to women serving as judges, arguing that if women become judges they could also become muftis – a Muslim legal expert who has the power to give rulings on religious issues.
He said: “If we let a woman become a judge, why shouldn’t she become Sheik of Al-Azhar? Why shouldn’t she become the Mufti?
“Why don’t we all just go to Hell?! Will she issue me a fatwa while she is menstruating?!”
His latest comments come after the Egyptian capital of Cairo was last month branded the “most dangerous” megacity for women in the first international poll which looked at how women fare in cities with over 10 million people.
A study conducted by the Egyptian Centre for Women’s Rights in 2008 found that 83 per cent of women said they’d been sexually harassed, while 62 per cent of men admitted to harassing women.
A further 43 per cent of men in Egypt believe that women like the attention and they appreciate being sexually harassed.
Oluwayemisi Owolabi was sentenced to 10 years in jail yesterday by a Federal High Court, sitting in Lagos, for trafficking 330 grammes of cocaine.
Justice Rilwan Aikawa convicted and sentenced Owolabi after she pleaded guilty to one-count charge of drug trafficking preferred against her by NDLEA.
The convict’s lawyer, Morenike Ogunleye, pleaded: “The convict is a first time offender, and she is sober. She is a mother of four children, who is single-handedly taking care of them, as she has separated from her husband.”
The judge asked the prosecutor, Ibrahim, for the punishment for the crime committed as stipulated by the NDLEA Act, and the prosecutor said it is life imprisonment.
Justice Aikawa ruled: “I have listened to the plea made on her behalf by the counsel, and also listened to the prosecutor that she has no record of crime. I have to consider both her plea and what the law says about the crime.
Consequently, I hereby sentence her to 10 years imprisonment, starting from the day of her arrest, which was in May 19 at the Lagos Airport, during the outward clearance of Qatar Airways flight to Saudi Arabia.”

The drama started last week after the Triple MG boss took to his Instagram page to say tithing is for matured believers, obviously a shade to Freeze’s FreeTheSheeple teachings.
He also made a statement on LITV’s The Report Card show saying that Freeze’s opinion on tithing was rubbish.

“I pay my tithe. I’m not even interested in that rubbish Freeze is saying. I believe part of my success and how I’m growing is because how I’m able to not hold on to what I’m supposed to give to God.”

In my own opinion, you and pastor Paul should be looking for bible verses that show that our first ‘pastors’, the 12 disciples, collected tithe and pointing out bible verses that show where believers that weren’t Jewish, paid tithe.

If I wanted social media to know @hushpuppi does not provide for his son, I would have put it up years ago. You could have at least hidden my snap ID and not have put our son picture up.

Though, there have been controversies surrounding their death, as folks believe, they were assassinated or poisoned, and then the scene of the incident was staged.
But then, new pictures have emerged, which clearly shows a condom and alcohol inside the car.
Below are 3 new updates you need to know about the incident;
1. There have been speculations that the lover may have lodged in a hotel the previous night before their death and when the hotelier found out they were dead, decided to convey them to the spot they were found the following morning without any trace, in a bid not to implicate the management.
2. The deceased man is said to be an official of the Lagos State Environmental Maintenance Agency (LASEMA) and he’s been identified as Olowo Lukman Olayinka. His wife is said to be nursing a baby.
3.The deceased woman, Nse Promise Nnena, is from Calabar and a mother of four kids. But some said she has not had a child yet and in the process of divorcing her husband
Meanwhile, The family of Mr. Lukmon Olowu, who was found dead inside his Toyota Corolla car on Sunday, yesterday, said there was no way he could be the lover of the lady found dead with him.
Lukmon, 39, married with two kids, was a licensing agent.
According to the family, Lukmon couldn’t have been making love to the woman, identified as Promise, inside his car.
Promise was said to be from Cross River State, while her husband, Clement, a commercial bus driver, is from Edo State.
She had a child for Clement.
Lukmon’s family members, who gathered yesterday at their family house at 56, Shonola Street, Ogba, Lagos, said their son was murdered.
Contrarily to earlier stories that Promise and Lukmon lived in the same compound, New Telegraph’s visit yesterday to Ogba proved that Promise lived at 48, Shonola Street, while Lukmon lived at Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos State. Lukmon’s younger brother, Idris Olowu, said Lukmon was not into any relationship with Promise.
Idris said: “On Saturday evening, Lukmon and about six of his friends, went to a birthday party at Obawole, Iju area. After the party, Lukmon used his car to drive many of his friends to their residences, including Promise.
She also attended the birthday. Promise later called and pleaded with Lukmon to take her to her friend’s place around Excellence Hotel, located at Ogba. We understand that she called her husband, telling him that she would spend the night at her friend’s place, before she called and asked Lukmon to drive her there.
“The next thing we heard was that police called us that our brother was dead, that they had found Promise and Lukmon dead inside his car. We heard they were found Naked. We all went to the police station to confirm the information.
Before the police drove the car to the station, they took pictures of their dead bodies. We saw a picture of our brother, naked and his two legs raised and placed on the dashboard. While the dead woman was half naked; she was sitting beside him at the front seat.
Her head rested lifelessly on the car seat headrest. “I can swear with my life, that my brother didn’t have anything to do with Promise. He was a responsible man, married with children. He didn’t take alcohol.
I learnt that woman was dating a guy called Femi, Promise’s husband, Clement, had warned the guy several times to stay away from his wife. Even, when the incident happened, the same Femi came to tell us that the trap was meant for him.” Idris further disclosed that Promise lived close to a beer parlour.
It was alleged that many people knew the late woman. Idris further said: “ She called her husband that night, that she would spend the night at a friend’s place. It was not the first time Lukmon had used his car to convey Promise and other people to different places after parties.
The woman always goes to party with youths living in the area because she was a friendly type.” Idris recalled that when they got to the police station on Sunday, Promise husband, Clement, said that the dead person should have been Femi, not Lukmon.
Idris said: “To my surprise, when we got to Area G Police Command, Promise’s husband said that he thought it was Femi that died. Even Femi’s phone was brought out from Promise’s handbag by her husband.”
When NewTelegraph visited Promise’s house yesterday evening, some of her neighbours said she had no job, but frequent the beer parlour where she used to drink beer.
One of the residents, who does not want her name mentioned, said: “The death of the woman came to every one of us as a surprise. Promise had a child and had a friend at the beer parlour joint. She used to stay at that club with her friend, drinking, whenever her husband was not around. It was at this club that some men, including the one that died with her, met her.”
The resident further said: “There was a day I warned her to stop going to the beer parlour because I had seen a situation where some of the men that came to the joint, would harass women.
That was why I warned her to stay away from the place to avoid what eventually happened now.” When our correspondent approached Clement, who wore a T-Shirt and brown trousers, he snapped: “ No! No! I can’t talk for now.” He crossed to the other side of the road and disappeared.
People in the area said that the house he entered is his grandmother’s apartment. Attempts to speak with Femi failed too.
When his phone was called, he picked and when our correspondent told him the reason for calling, he cut off and switched off.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Olarinde Famous-Cole, said that police were carrying out intensive investigations to know the circumstances surrounding the death of the couple.
He added: “We got to know about this incident barely 24 hours ago. We are still investigating. We have to carry out autopsy to ascertain the cause of their death.”
