An infuriated man, Pavel Luzyanin has stabbed a popular Russian barber, Dany-Dastan Adkhamov to death with a meat skewer because his friends made mockery of his new haircut.
The shocking video shows customer Pavel Luzyanin chasing 24-year-old hairdresser into the street and stabbing him three times in the chest in revenge for his £2.60 trim.
The horrific footage was caught on CCTV in the town of Troitsk, 23 miles south of Moscow.
After the attack Luzyanin then walked away as Mr Adkhamov staggered to his feet before being helped by a passing cyclist.
The attacker then turned around, and seeing his victim was still alive, calmly walked back and coldly killed him by stabbing him in the neck with the barbecue skewer.
He did so in front of bystanders who did nothing to deter him, according to police.
Mr Adkhamov died before an ambulance arrived.
The victim, known to his friends as Danya, was an illegal immigrant from Uzbekistan who had set up a thriving business with many regular customers offering cut price haircuts.
A YBL Reader, Peace Nnenna Anikwe just received the sum of N100,000 from another YBL Reader, Soibi Ephraim, for a Brilliant comment she made on our Facebook Page.
Peace Nnenna Anikwe
Here’s how it all started…
We published a report on Actress, Iyabo Ojo who said there is no love without money, thus she can never ever marry a poor man.
In her words, with PUNCH, she said: “If marriage comes along, yes I will consider it. Then, I used to say that I didn’t want to get married again because of the stress involved. Now, I have had a rethink. But I can’t marry a poor man. Some people will say I shouldn’t say that, but I am a blunt person. For someone like me, there is no love without money. I am a celebrity and I am expected to maintain a certain lifestyle, which is expensive.”
After we published this report, a YBL reader, Peace Nnenna, disagreed with Iyabo, and left this Brilliant comment that reads thus;
“It is better to marry a poor man with peace than to marry a top business mogul with dull brain, my sister, no man is poor, once there is life, money and every other things will fall into place, that MR A is poor today doesn’t mean that he ll remain poor forever, change is constant, maybe when u get married to a poor man, with u by his side, u both will push the mountains together and money will flow!”
Many other readers of course, disagreed with her, with many asking questions like, “What if he remains poor forever?” “How can a top business man have a dull brain?” “Who said marrying a poor man will give u peace?” amongst many other questions..
Then Soibi replied her comment as thus;
“What if he remains poor forever ” ? What if he does ? Who cares? What happened to living your life and not caring about money, whether poor or rich everybody’s gonna die. So long as theres enough food to eat what gives ?Damn suddenly it seems like everybody wants a lavish wedding and a super expensive lifestyle that don’t really matter. If you want to live large so bad then f**king work for it and live alone, nobody is forcing anyone to marry.
..and then peace replied him back: “Soibi Ephraim, don’t mind them, let them marry a lady that loves money more than love lemme see how they ll progress!”
Peace also fought back people who agreed with Iyabo, about not marrying a poor man..
Excited by this, Soibi, then offered to give peace the sum of N100,000:
“Oh no no no, Peace give me your acc no. 100k for you. am over astonished we still have a girl like you in Nigeria, too bad they’re trying to corrupt you but you still stand your ground ???.. please remain the way you are. PS. I’m serious about the acct no. You over deserve it”

I have never called him on phone and he has never taken me into confidence as to what he does, where he goes. So, those who are close to him would answer. I don’t have capacity to monitor him to know where he is, maybe journalists, through investigative journalism will know.

According Hmetro Zimbabwe, in a case of revenge p-orn, a jilted Harare man threatened to use social media to destroy his ex-girlfriend before he went on to post n-de pictures of the girl where he alleged that the latter had infected him with HIV.
He had taken a video of the woman whilst she was not aware. He asked the admin of the Facebook group to hide his identity and gave all the details of the girl, lying that she was HIV positive.
The man, identified as Thompson Khaka, last week in a WhatsApp conversation vowed to use Social Media to tarnish the image of a woman he had dated for almost a year. Two days later, he posted nude pictures of the woman.
Efforts to get a comment from Thompson were fruitless as his mobile number was not getting through while he did not reply questions sent to him by H-Metro by the time of going to print.
The ex-girlfriend who reported to Hmetro was in shock adding that she did not believe that Thompson would go to such length to tarnish her image.
“He had earlier threatened to do this but I thought he was only joking and just wanted us to get back together. I was shocked when I received calls from friends and relatives who had seen the nude pictures and his post.
“I never posed nude for pictures. He took a video of me coming from the bath and I never saw how he did it.
“Why should he use social media to destroy me? It only takes a single post to destroy one’s life. What if my parents see those pictures and the post? I have a life to live and I don’t know why he wants to destroy me like this.”
Following his post, Thompson has come under fire by some social media users who criticised him for his childish behaviour further challenging him to prove that he had been infected with HIV by the ex-girlfriend.
H-Metro helped the victim to have the post pulled down from Facebook and it was removed within an hour, even though some of them had find their way on some sites already.
Cases of revenge porn over the years have been on the rise and activists have already petitioned the Zimbabwe Parliament to consider the ban of revenge pornography.
The law would protect people from having their nude photos or videos leaked (usually by an ex) on internet or social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook where such material easily goes viral.
Globally, some developed countries have Revenge Porn laws although Africa is yet to specifically recognise revenge porn as a crime.
Zimbabwe is currently relying on laws prohibiting the broadcasting and distribution of regular pornography, anti-harassment laws, and the use of mobile phones to send harassing messages.
Unfortunately, we can not post the video and photos Here as they are too explicit.

The University of Lagos student, whose video of her twerking on the statue of late Vice Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Sofoluwe of the institution went viral, has reacted to her rustication rumour.
Kimberly Ofili, a 300 level student of European language faculty of Art, French department has said she does not see reason why the news was reported since the school did not announce her rustication.
Ofili who sounded upset when asked to comment about the rumour of her rustication is quoted:
“Was there ever a time Unilag announced they rusticated me? So if you didn’t hear from Unilag that I was rusticated, I don’t see the reason why it is an authentic news and for them to even come out to say they never rusticated any student what exactly do you want me to say about it. And I told you I am writing an exam and I don’t know what else you want me to say again. The school authority has already said what they want to say, if I am rusticated I don’t think I will be writing exams”
Ofili’s danced video went viral last week followed by reports that claimed she was rusticated for dancing sensuously with the statue of Prof. Babatunde Sofoluwe.
In reaction to the reports, the Institution on Monday, October 9 debunked the news in a post on its Facebook page saying the University is not that mean.
The management therefore urged the students and general public to ignore the rumour.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) new Sector Commander in the FCT, Mr Ayuba Wobin, has disclosed that the body apprehended and referred 4,000 traffic offenders for psychological evaluation in the last three months to enforce sanity on FCT roads.
Ayuba who revealed this when he visited FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello, at his residence in Abuja assured FCT residents of the command’s preparedness to ensure safety on the roads, especially in ember months.
He said:
“since I assumed office in the FCT, I have taken keen interest to observe the great contributions of the administration toward efforts to reduce road crashes and safeguard the lives of road users.
These include the pragmatic efforts of the minister toward clearing obstructions on roads, provision of walkways, enforcement of the use of pedestrian bridges, as well as prompt response to emergencies, among others.”
The FCT minister thanked the sector commander for the visit, saying the relationship between the command and the FCTA was long and cordial.
He also expressed concern over the spate of violation of traffic regulations and the challenge of traffic management in Abuja, which he said informed the appointment of new Secretary of Transport, Mr Kayode Opeifa.
He said:
“in Dei-Dei, if you check your records, you will see what it used to be before the enforcement on the use of pedestrian bridges. Pedestrians were being run over on daily basis, but today, that ugly experience has been stemmed.
Opeifa served as Commissioner in Lagos for quite some time, so he is among the experts in this field. A lot of the interventions we wanted to embark upon were deliberately kept on hold because we wanted to get the right personnel.
I hope you would work closely with him to evolve dynamic solutions to the challenge of traffic violations in the FCT.”
This bride must have definitely wowed her guests after she lifted her groom during their ceremony.
You can see the utmost surprise in the groom’s face as it looks as if his bride carries him effortlessly – she wears a bright smile as she lifts her man, waist to bosom.
Many speculate that the groom may be short, that’s why she can carry him like that. See full photo:
Veteran actor, Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello, needs little or no introduction in the entertainment scene.
The actor who has been in the movie industry for decades, talked about his career, family and more in a new interview with Sunday Scoop.
Read Below;
What stirred your interest in the movie industry?
From a very young age, I had always been interested in anything that had to do with arts and culture. I grew up in Lagos Island and there were a lot of activities that went on there in those days.
Were there theatre practitioners you looked up to in those days?
Of course. There were people like Hubert Ogunde, Ojo Ladipo, aka Baba Mero, Oyin Adejobi, Ayinla Olumegbon, among others.
What were the steps you took before joining the theatre industry back then?
I used to watch a TV series, Village Doctor, produced by Hubert Ogunde, and that was what inspired me. I also used to watch Ayinla Olumegbon’s plays because where they used to have their rehearsals was not far from our house.
Also, at the back of my school, I used to hear drumming and I was very curious as to where it was coming from. One day, I decided to go and watch them, and I later joined them. Their name was the Young Stars Concert Party.
The criteria for joining them was that one had to pay a huge sum of money, which was one pound, one shilling. I had to source for the money, and when it was complete, I joined them.
What was the reaction of your parents when you wanted to start acting?
There was no parent that supported their children going into theatre production in those days. Particularly in the town where I come from, religion was taken very seriously. I was also the first child, and people felt it wasn’t proper for me to become an actor. The profession was looked down on in those days, and they only respected people like doctors and lawyers. It was quite tough in those days. But I thank God that today, the story has changed.
When did your parents start accepting your choice of profession?
They only started accepting me when stardom came and there was one particular incident that changed their minds. One of my siblings was supposed to attend a school, but he wasn’t given a letter of admission, even though he had earlier been shortlisted.
On one fateful day, my uncle asked me to drive them to the school, and when we got there, a crowd of people swarmed around me chanting my name. When we got to the office of the admission officer, the man also received us well and asked me what I wanted.
We were immediately given the admission letter. That incident convinced my people that the path I was on was the right one for me.
Did you have any other ambition apart from being an actor?
I had the ambition to become a lawyer but I didn’t have the opportunity to pursue it because there was no money at that time.
Was it because of your ambition to become a lawyer that you encouraged your son, Femi, to study law?
I never discussed that with him. It was entirely his decision to study law and I supported him. As a matter of fact, my godfather, Alhaji Femi Okunnu, is a lawyer, and I named Femi after him. I worked with him as his personal assistant when he was the Federal Commissioner for Works.
What was the first production you partook in?
In terms of stage plays, the first production I took part in was titled, B’aiyebayehun, and I acted the role of a witch doctor. Before the production, three of us auditioned for that part before I was eventually selected. That was in 1971. But we had been doing television series since 1969 with Baba Mero, who was the leader of the Young Stars Concert Party. But the name of the group was later changed to Ojo Ladipo Theatre.
Can you recall the names of your contemporaries who you started the profession with?
I will mention the names of those that are still acting because if I call the names of those no longer doing the job, many people wouldn’t know them. There were people like Iya Awero, Tajudeen Gbadamosi, the late Osumare, Jinadu Ewele, among others.
What were the challenges you faced in those days?
There were lots of challenges but we weren’t doing the job just to make money; we were passionate about it. Back then, while acting, I was also working at the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing as a library assistant. Whatever money I made from my regular job, I ended up spending it on theatre productions. Sometimes, we would want to go and stage plays, but there wouldn’t be money to print posters or do any form of advertisement.
Which production do you regard as your breakthrough?
It was the television series that brought me stardom because people liked it, and we were well appreciated. In terms of stage plays, it was Ogbongbemiga, which we staged at Glover Hall in Lagos Island that was the breakthrough for me. A lot of people came to watch that play and they really loved it.
Which was the first home video you appeared in?
I didn’t start doing home videos on time because we were producing on celluloid then. I remember that I shot my first cinema movie in 1985 and it was titled, Ogun Ajaiye, followed by Omo O’rukan in 1987. In 1989, I shot Eri Okan. However, I started shooting home videos in 1993, and my first movie was Asewo to re Mecca.
Asewo to re Mecca was a very successful movie, how were you able to put it all together?
The process starts from writing the story. I just wanted to teach a lesson on the covenant that people have with God. It was about two prostitutes who went to Mecca and they vowed that they wouldn’t return to their dirty pasts.
However, one of them reneged, while the other kept her promise; and they both got the appropriate rewards for their actions. It was the same experience we used to shoot cinema movies that I applied in making that film. I felt that the home videos that were made in those days could be improved upon, and eventually Asewo to re Mecca became a classic.
What were the things you considered before choosing the lead actresses for the movie?
For the lead roles, the physiques of Sola Sobowale and Toyin Adegbola were exactly what I was looking for. And they are also talented because we carried out auditions, and they passed. I didn’t really face any challenge while shooting the movie because there was money, and marketing was also good in those days.
What was the biggest thing you gained from the movie?
I made profits and it boosted my profile. It also changed the face of home videos that were being made then.
How many movies have you produced thus far?
I have produced 17 movies.
Have you ever undergone any training as an actor?
Yes, I did. When it comes to training, practical experience is the most important. All those times we used to go for rehearsals, we were training. At a time, I joined the British Council where I was also trained. I later attended a school that was affiliated with the University of Lagos. Meanwhile, I also read books on stage production and attended lots of seminars and workshops.
Do you often involve your children in your movie productions?
I didn’t involve them when they were younger because they were still in school. But I had a group called Awada Kerikeri, and whenever my children were on holiday, they usually followed me to our rehearsals. However, now that some of them have joined the industry, we work together.
What was your initial reaction when your children expressed interest in joining the movie industry?
I didn’t feel bad. I only mandated them that they should all complete their education, and whatever they wanted to do after that was entirely up to them. I don’t force them to do anything.
What advice did you give them when they wanted to join the industry?
I advised them based on my experience, and they have been following it. Even till date, whenever there is anything that they are confused about, they come to meet me and I guide them. I tutor them on how to behave, how to relate with their fans, among others. I cannot have this much experience and I wouldn’t pass it on to my children who are in the same field with me.
Has there ever been a time that you went out with Femi and more fans swarmed around him than you?
There is no father that wouldn’t be happy at such a thing because it is a thing of pride. But it’s never like that because just as fans come around him, that’s the same way they come around me.
How do you feel whenever you hear or read negative reports about your children?
Whenever I hear anything like that, the first thing I do is to find out whether it is true or not. Not everything that is written is actually true. If I find out that what they did is wrong, I have ways by which I correct them. And if they are being lied against, I would feel bad and fight against it because such things can damage their reputations.
Considering that you have a large family, how were you able to ensure that they grew up in unity and love?
It is simply the grace of God, and not by my own doing. I am happy that there is unity and love in my house; and all my children are progressing.
What qualities must an actor possess to be successful?
Firstly, you must be passionate about the job and also be talented. One should also undergo training, and practice it the way it ought to be done. If you do those things, people would accept you.
What are the things you feel are wrong in the movie industry at this time?
Our major problem is piracy and I believe everybody knows that. We need to get our marketing and distribution channels straightened out. We also need funds to produce good movies.
With the benefit of hindsight, is there anything you wish you had done differently?
One thing I may have termed a mistake, but which I consider to be destiny is raising a large family.
How do you unwind?
I’ve always been dedicated to my job so I don’t really have much time to unwind. However, I like to be in the midst of my childhood friends talking and having fun. I also listen to indigenous music by people like Yusuf Olatunji, Haruna Ishola, among others. I could also decide to stay home and rest.
Have you ever harboured thoughts to become a singer?

How do you like to dress?
I like to dress simply, neat and presentable. My life is very simple; I drive simple cars and do all my things in a simple way.
Many Nigerians especially Imolites were angered after governor Rochas Okorocha unveiled a giant statue of South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma in Owerri, Imo state to honour him.
Apparently there are also statues of Rochas Okorocha, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Ghana president Nana Akufo-Addo and 5 others erected at the Heroes Villa, Ikemba Ojukwu centre, Owerri.

Former president of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, has revealed that Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote “carried baby Davido home” after he was christened.
The former Access Bank group managing director disclosed this to Mike Awoyinfa, a veteran journalist writing Dangote’s biography in an upcoming ‘Giants of Africa’ series.
According to Awoyinfa, Aig-Imoukhuede said the singer’s father Adedeji Adeleke has been a close friend of Dangote for several years.
Explaining Aig-Imoukhuede’s description of Dangote’s fear of God, he wrote:
“With Imoukhuede, you can never run short of anecdotes. He remembers a day he was travelling with Dangote to Abuja. He needed to see his pastor urgently but found himself acting like Hamlet: to see or not to see.
Dangote instantly waded in, insisting: “you must see your pastor!” He even followed him to church, resulting in getting to Abuja very late.
“He also recalls an incident many years ago in Atlanta, USA, when Dangote had to go to church and was the one who carried the baby Davido home after his christening. Today, Davido is an award-wining pop star and a household name.
“That was why when Imoukhuede was hosting a 60th birthday bash for Dangote in his spacious Ikoyi office, he invited Davido to perform on that joyous night of dancing that brought together Dangote’s inner caucus and close friends like Davido’s father, the billionaire Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, the former Ogun State governor Aremo Segun Osoba, the former governor of Edo State Adams Oshiomole, the present governor of Edo State Godwin Obaseki, the former Cross Rivers State governor Donald Duke, the Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola and many other Dangote insiders.”
Peter Okoye, of the former PSquare-Clan, his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye and his kids are enjoying today, Sunday, with his friends at a beach house in Lagos.
This is coming after he reacted to a viral video of him performing other artist’s songs at his recent concert in Washington. He reassured his fans that the singing group, “PSQUARE” are over, and there can never be a reconcilation of some sort.
‘whoever posted that video just re-edited it and didn’t tell y’all I was telling a story of how I got inspired and motivated by some of our Nigerian artistes and the rest of the world. Besides, we have more than 100 songs which I performed and entitled to. We even do this even when I was still in a group in most of our foreign concerts. You can verify that on YouTube. So it’s nothing new. I know it’s because some pple are still sad and mad that Psquare is no more that’s why they want to insult and say whatever. But I understand. Take heart guys, change is constant and I have moved on. 30 children cannot be together for 30 years… so pls get used to it’.
