This bride and her friends had every bit of fun as they donned towels for her bridal shower. Facebook user, Ezeonu Emmanuella Chidera, shared the lovely photos of her sister’s bridal shower on Facebook.
The girls only clad with wine coloured towels and shower caps posed by the bride who donned a white towel, distinguishing herself from the rest.

A young Nigerian girl, said to be a Secondary School II student in Delta state, was brought to shame in public after she was nabbed stealing N70,000 from a woman via ATM.
It’s culled from reports that the young girl’s victim wanted to withdraw money from an ATM but was discouraged after seeing the extensive queue already waiting to use the Automated Teller Machine before her.
So she decided to pull a fast one by giving her ATM card to the lass who was at the top of the queue – to help her withdraw N10,000.
Unfortunately for her, the young girl at the top of the queue decided to rob her and withdrew N70,000 instead of N10,000 – the alleged thief transferred N50,000 to her own account then kept N20k in her pocket.
As she made to disappear after her broad daylight robbery, her victim, (the account owner), gave her a chase with a motorcycle, screaming ‘thief-thief’.
The girl was immediately nabbed and mobbed by eye-witnesses.

In a new development after the death of Tagbo Umeike, a young gentleman said to be friends with Nigerian Afro-pop star, Davido, the former’s sister has spoken concerning his death.
In the wake of several conflicting reports on the incident, Sunday Scoop spoke exclusively with Tagbo’s immediate elder sister, Equi Arakada, who is based in the United Kingdom.
The lady, according to Sunday Scoop, was badly shaken and it was clear to see that the sad incident was causing her great grief.
“I am a year older than he was, and October 3 was supposed to be his 35th birthday. They’re trying to portray him as a drunk or useless person, and that’s not true. There’s more to social media than what we see on the screen. He was not married and he didn’t have any kids. He was an engineer but he was trying to diversify into the music business. Not as a musician, but maybe as a record label owner,” she said.
She continued:
“He could upload some pictures of himself hanging out with his friends, but that does not mean that he doesn’t have anything else he does with his life. He was a very caring and outgoing person, and he had a great future ahead of him. I would definitely not wish what we, his loved ones, are going through right now on anybody.
Nobody deserves to die the way he did; abandoned at a time he needed help the most. Nobody deserves the nonchalance that the parties involved are displaying. It’s really unfair. Our dad is late, and my mum is taking this one day at a time.
Davido has not reached out to anyone in my family; not me, my mum, or Tagbo’s brother. I only knew about my brother’s friendship with Davido through social media; I had never met him. But they’ve been friends for some time now because I often see pictures of them together. I’m not really familiar with many of the artistes in Nigeria, but I know that on the night of the incident, Tagbo was with Davido and Dammy Krane.
Right now, we’re trying to gather as much information as possible to aid the investigation. All we need is justice; we don’t need any financial gain from this sad incident. We would dig to the root of the matter and find out if it was the negligence of anybody that led to this, or there was any sort of tampering involved. The autopsy would be conducted on Monday; any contrary news is false.”
However, the singer and his team are yet to make any comment on the matter and when Sunday Scoop put a call through to Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, he said, “We don’t have any comment on this matter; there is nothing to say.”
Meanwhile, the police have also confirmed that the autopsy would be carried out on Monday.
Residents of Agbura community in Ogbia Local Government Area where the suspected Monkey Pox epidemic started were not bothered about the disease, investigations showed yesterday.
It was also gathered contrary to insinuations the index case of the epidemic came down with the disease after consuming monkey, the teenager only had constant contact with a monkey, which he played with it as a pet.
When our correspondent visited the community, which is not far from Otuoke, the community of former President Goodluck Jonathan, the locals were seen going about their normal activities.
A commercial motorcyclist claimed he had never heard about the epidemic and directed our correspondent to speak to another resident, who identified himself simply as Nathan.
But Nathan said there was nothing serious about the monkey pox in the riverine community, adding the family of the index case resides on Unity Street around the area.
“We only heard that one family from the eastern part of the country travelled home where they are they ate monkey so when they came back to our community, some of them came down with the sickness,” he said.
At unity Street, our correspondent observed people around the area were going about their activities without fear.
Contrary to reports, neighbours had not relocated from the street.
A neighbour, who spoke in confidence, said only an 11-year-old boy and his six years old younger brother came down with symptoms of the epidemic.
He stated the case of the younger brother was not as severe as his elder brother.
Apart from the two victims, nobody living with them had come down with the sickness, the neigbour hinted.
He said parents of the victims had not shown signs of the epidemic, adding their mother owned a restaurant somewhere in Yenagoa, the state capital.
On how the victims could have contracted the suspected virus, he said: “We don’t really know. But all I can tell you is that one of the neighbours with a shop had a monkey.
“The victims used to play with the monkey. The monkey was like their pet. The monkey used to lick their bodies and climbed on them. That was all we know before their sickness occurred”.
It was gathered the victims were later taken away by health experts to the University Teaching Hospital Okolobiri where they were treated and brought back home.
The victims were reportedly asked to remain indoors, pending total recuperation.

“When the health experts came they asked our neighbour to take the monkey away. We don’t know where the monkey was taken to.
“But the experts have been coming around to check the health statuses of some people around here.

Adewale Adeoye, popularly known as Elesho, is one of the veterans in the Yoruba movie industry, having been around for over 30 years.

“A lot of people have been asking me this question lately. If you notice, many of the people in my category that we started acting at the same time are no longer that vibrant in the industry. It is because we are afraid of the type of scripts that the children are churning out these days.
Even in my house, I cannot watch most of the films that are released nowadays because there is really nothing to learn from them. Many of the actresses don’t dress properly. There was a time I caught the person who pirated a particular movie of mine, and he threatened me that if I took him to the police station, he would come back for me.
He told me that he used to be an armed robber, and that it was when they killed his gang mates that he started piracy.
At that point, I had to let him go. The government really needs to do something urgently about piracy. If there are strong punitive measures for pirates, you would see that it would reduce drastically,” he said.
Reports made the rounds yesterday of DJ Olu, son of billionaire businessman Dapo Abiodun, being discovered dead in his car. The gentleman was affiliated with Nigerian singer, Davido, as his official Disc Jockey and bosom friend.
And though details of how he died are still kinda foggy, another gentleman, identified simply as ‘Chime’, a close friend of the late DJ (judging from his Instagram page) was also found dead in the same car with him.

According to reports online, a lady, Ilerioluwa has been arrested at Ogudu in Lagos, after she cut off her neighbor’s tongue.
The victim, identified as Suleman Babangida is currently writhing in pain, as he says he cannot eat, or even take something through his mouth.
According to IB9ja, it is said Ilerioluwa cut off Suleman#s tongue for ritual purpose. The incident happened around midnight on Thursday, October, 5, 2017.
Narrating what happened, the victim, Babangida, said: “It was around 11:30pm when I came back home. Then when I was about to go and urinate at the bathroom, all of a sudden I just saw this lady that I usually call Ilerioluwa, at my back inside the bathroom.
I was like sister Ileri what’s happening, all of a sudden, she just choked my neck and I could not have the strength to scream out extremely. All I could see next was that my tongue had been cut down.”
Ileri was later arrested and the tongue retrieved from her. According to Babangida, she is currently being detained at the Kirikiri prison, after appearing in court on Friday.
Regarding his current condition, Babangida said: “Right now I can’t even eat or take something. I am in pain. The tongue can’t be reattached any longer. I’m not in any relationship with Ileri.
I respected her a lot and took her like a sister. She has nothing to say about what she did to me. The case has been adjourned till the 16th of this month.”

There is currently a huge gas explosion at Atomic Junction, the busy Madina Zongo Junction in Accra Ghana. The explosion occurred around 7:00 pm today, Saturday.
Thousands of students at the University of Ghana are fleeing for their lives following the gas explosion that occurred at the Atomic junction in Accra, few meters away from the school.
Franklin Badu Jnr, a reporter of Citifmonline, who was on campus before the explosion, said “it shook the roofing of the Pentagon hall where I was.”
“There was a huge explosion that shook the Pentagon hall where I was. It appears that the gas flared into the atmosphere and the inferno followed suit. Students numbering thousands are fleeing for their lives.”
There are two gas stations and two petrol and disease stations around the area.
Citi News’ Richard Dela Sky, who is also at Atomic junction where the incident occurred, reported that “it is really terrifying.”
“I can hear piercing sound of gas explosion. I can see a lot of fire tenders here trying to put the fire off. The residual gas in the container is burning. I can still hear sounds of explosion. The whole area has been cordoned off by the police. No vehicle is being allowed to the scene,” he added.

This is certainly not the best of times for Nigerian singer, Davido, as he’s lost two good friends in less than a week.
Just days after losing one of his friends, Tagbo – whose death is still a controversy that’s been trailing the singer – Davido has lost a bosom friend of his, DJ Olu.
DJ Olu is billionaire, Dapo Abiodun’s son and not only is he one of the singer’s bosom friends, who we’ve seen sometimes on his Snapchat hanging out with him, but he’s also his official Disc Jockey, who has been aiding his music performance in shows.
According to reports, DJ Olu was found dead earlier in his car today. Davido, who’s in SA, upon hearing the news, took to social media to pay tribute to his friends and said a prayer for the living.

Ghanaian actor and preacher, Majid Michel has countered the dogmatic claims of Nigerian OAP, Daddy Freeze who’s assertive that tithing in Churches is wrong and not a commandment of God.
Daddy Freeze‘s Instagram, which was once upon a time a place where people would be tormented by the exotic timepieces he showed off, has now become a place for his #FreeTheSheeple movement, where he makes certain principles about modern day Christianity especially in Nigeria.
One of those principles which he stresses on most times is that the act of tithing or paying tithes to Pastors is a form of robbery on the parts of the pastors.
According to Freeze, the commandment of tithing was not for us but for some priests in the old testaments.
Man of God although not ordained, Majid Michel has countered these claims, stating that God has commanded all to pay tithes into his house that food may abound and more importantly for the welfare of the poor.
He however commented that even though some men of God do not use the tithes as commanded, that does not mean we should disobey or rob God by renouncing the payment of tithes.
Freeze has since responded to the actor as he took to his page to share a photo of the actor and wrote:

Weddings are meant to be that very special day you’ve waited your whole life for, you’d definitely do anything to make that day special yeah? But when the ceremony seems to want to clash with the education you’ve been pursuing for years, what do you do ?!
A lady, a student of Benue State University, Level 300, found herself at that cross road and her response to it is quite awing for every one . The lady, Identified as, Dooshima Kusugh unfortunately had her exam on her wedding day and she who presumably has a flair for her education, won’t let her ceremony hinder it.
It’s quite shocking to everyone cause the said lady took to the exam hall in her wedding dress to sit for her exams when she could’ve been having the time of her life on her special day.
But thinking about it, it’s a ceremony for guests to eat and drink and felicitate with the couple yeah? but the real ceremony will be her marital life with her husband, so maybe leaving the ceremony for an hour or so won’t bite that much or would it?

Nollywood twins, Tracy and Treasure Daniels have been counting their blessings since they joined the Nigerian movie industry. Right now, the duo has added another feather to their caps with the production of a new movie entitled, Unknown Caller.
In this chat, the Ebonyi State-born thespians talk about their career and life as identical twins. Enjoy it.
What are you up to lately?
Generally, we don’t like to put our plans out there because bread is not sold while still in the oven but on display.We work quietly and bring you the outcome. Our skin care products could be mentioned here because it’s ready and available for launch on our birthday on October 21. In fact, that’s the thing we’ve been up to lately.
However, our latest movie and the roles we played in it are also worthy of mention. It was directed by Sir Uchenna Agbo and shot in Enugu State alongside other great talents. The characters we played are Jenifer and Jessica. The movie is very interesting and at the same time challenging. The characters demand acting out a disturbed drug addict, which is far from the kind of roles we’ve played in previous movies.
What do you like about the characters you acted?
Anybody who had watched Unknown Caller would attest to this. However, nothing remains our best for too long, another best is already on the way.
How was your growing up?
I could say we were born with silver spoon, but I would rather say with golden spoon. Our parents are members of the clergy; we grew up in a parsonage which I consider a privilege because that’s what has shaped us into who we are today.
What childhood experiences made you cry?
Whenever anybody attempted to separate us or if my twin sister was traveling without me, we would cry or take ill until we were reunited or allowed to go on the trip go together. Also, anytime our dad was traveling back to his pastoral work, we would cry and fall sick as well. That’s how much we cherish our father.
Would you like to change anything in the way you were brought up?
Growing up, our parents were like missionaries. They were always going on transfer or traveling from one state to another and that affected our stability as children. We couldn’t concentrate in one school. We were always the new kids and we also missed our friends. If we had our way, we wouldn’t have accepted that kind of growing up.
What is your most embarrassing moment in Nollywood?
It was when one of us wanted to play smart and switched roles in the movie entitled A friend of Mine. Tracy was supposed to be on set, but she also had a date with her boyfriend on that day. So, we agreed that rather than cancel the date,Treasure would stand in and help shoot her scenes. Little did we know that the director would find us out. Kabat was a very smart person, and good director. We give it up to him.
What is your happiest moment in the industry?
It was the day we premiered our latest movie, Unknown Caller. It was a classy and beautiful event. It practically launched our career to a new level.
Are you in any relationship currently?
Yes, one of us is in a relationship. But we don’t want to discuss our relationships in the media.
Who is your ideal man?
Each of us has different standards for the man we would like to be with. However, we have one common ground; our ideal man must be emotionally stable and financially established. We don’t believe in gender equality. Our ideal man has to be first and foremost, a provider, that’s our culture.
Have you had a disagreement over a man?
We are so discreet about romance. For us, it’s okay that way because it’s very sensitive.
Do you have a crush on anyone in the industry?
I don’t know what would happen if I run into Kit Harington (Jon Snow) of Game of Thrones or if my twin sister runs into Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lanister) also in Game of Thrones.
Can both of you marry one man?
Why marry one man when many guys would be left heart-broken after our marriage? We can at least make it one guy less broken (laughter). Never, we can’t marry one man. Each of us would have her own husband. It doesn’t matter if they are strangers, brothers, friends or twin brothers.
Do you get sexual advances from married men who see you on screen?
It would be an obvious lie for any girl in our position to say no to this question. But remember these are not just admirers, but fans and fans are the ones who determine our ability to sell and how we are rated in our career. So, we have to make them remain loyal even if they don’t get through their wishes.
Do you believe that some actresses sleep their ways to the top?
Everything is possible and nothing is new or news. There are fair and fowl means of achieving every set goals and each one comes with a price. Life is about choices and people are free to choose the one they can deal with. No one is better than another, so we don’t pay that any attention. We just follow the path we choose for ourselves; steady and focused till we get there.
What makes you stand out?
More than any thing, I think what makes us stand out or distinguish us from other actresses is the fact that we are identical twins, and pursuing the same career.

Rapper, Nelly has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman on his tour bus in Washington.
According to reports from TMZ, the woman claims Nelly raped her at about 3:45AM on Saturday morning, adding that he was booked on second degree rape charges around 7AM this morning.
It is believed that he is still in custody as at the time of filing this report.

Nelly has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman. Law enforcement sources tell us, a woman claims she was raped on the rapper’s tour bus in Washington, where he’s been performing.
Nelly is on a tour with Florida Georgia Line and they are set to perform Saturday night in Ridgefield, Washington.
We’re told the alleged rape occurred Saturday morning at around 3:45 AM. We’re told she specifically said Nelly is the one who raped her.
Nelly was booked on second degree rape charges Saturday morning at around 7 AM. It appears he was in custody at the time of this post.
We reached out to Nelly’s rep … so far no word back.
