Yesterday, we brought you reports, that Evans, the suspected billionaire kidnapper, has dragged the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and three others for illegal detention.

In the suit filed on his behalf by his lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje, Evans is praying for the order of court to direct the respondents to immediately charge him to court if there is any case against him in accordance with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Joined as respondents with Mr. Idris in the suit are the Nigeria Police Force, Commissioner of Police, Lagos State and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Lagos State Police Command.

In the alternative, Evans is praying the court to compel the respondents to immediately release him unconditionally in the absence of any offence that will warrant his being charged to court.

A Junior Secondary School pupil I of the Lekki British International School, Lekki, Lagos, has been expelled for allegedly putting sulphuric acid and ethanol in the water bottle of his classmate. Punch Reports.

The 12-year-old was allegedly envious of the 11-year-old female classmate, who had beaten him to the first position in the first and second terms.The incident happened around 1.30pm on Wednesday, June 14.

The school was planning for the third term exam when the 12-year-old allegedly sneaked into the school’s laboratory and stole the acid and ethanol,PUNCH Metro gathered .

He was said to have mixed the chemicals and poured them into the 11-year-old’s water bottle.Two pupils of the school reportedly caught him in the act and reported to the school management.

The suspect allegedly owned up to the crime, saying he had been planning it for sometime.

A member of the 11-year-old’s family said on Wednesday that despite the culprit’s confession, the school allowed him to sit for the third term examination.

When contacted the school management, an official, who did not identify herself, said the pupil had been expelled.

She said, “The boy has been expelled with immediate effect. The girl is in school and she is fine. We have zero tolerance for such misbehaviour.”

Inspectors of the S-Bahn Munich in Germany pulled a 48-year-old Nigerian from the train by force.

The two ticket inspectors of the Deutsche Bahn German train system were caught on camera savagely dragging the Nigerian man out of a train after he reportedly refused to provide his ID and pay a fine for not having a ticket.

The man could be seen vehemently clinging on metal handrails, as two men in uniform ferociously battle to get him out of the suburban S-Bahn train, headed to Munich city center from the airport.

Natalia Miletic who filmed the incident and posted it on Facebook, can be heard telling the inspectors:

“It’s absolutely not OK what you’re doing, the guy didn’t do anything to you.”“You should be ashamed of yourself, this is racism what you’re doing,”. “Why are you doing this? He paid.”

The woman continues filming until someone seemingly tries to stop her.

The man, said to be a 48-year-old Nigerian, was reportedly removed from the train at Leuchtenbergring station.

He appeared to have no valid ticket as the inspectors came up to him during the check. They then asked him to show an ID card and pay a €60 fine ($68), according to the witness who filmed the incident and later described it to HuffingtonPost.de.

The man, however, only had €9 in cash, which he reportedly needed for food. The inspectors collected the €9, saying he still owed the rest.

Deutsche Bahn, the company operating trains in Germany, said it was “unusual to receive only partial payments,” commenting on the incident later.

H-Metro is reporting, that a Zimbabwean woman who couldn’t control her quest for sex, was caught rend-handed bedding her ex-boyfriend during her honeymoon earlier this year.

Kudzai Juliet Mudema, a former nurse in Gweru who got married to her husband Progress Walusi at Muzimukhulu Gardens in December 2016, was only two months into marriage before she cheated on him.

During their honeymoon, it was reported that Kudzai was caught by her husband when she was having sex with her ex- boyfriend only identified as Lawrence.

In response, Gulez said:

“Please forgive her… I know and understand what you are going through and would not want to coerce you into a premature decision but I just feel there could be another chance.”

When Kudzai was contacted, her cousin who answered the phone, said Kudzai had gone to Namibia to talk to her husband about her identity.

Kudzai’s cousin Nyasha Mudema, who spoke to the publication said the embattled wife had resigned from her job and had relocated to Namibia to work out issues with her husband.

When H-Metro reached to Walusi via Whatsapp, he responded saying:

“I know and very much respect the nature of your job but whatever happened to us, it’s a thing of the past. What I did back then or what she did back then zvaiva zvenguva iyoyo.. she is and will remain my wife.

Am sure u phoned her number mukataura ne whoever has her phone ikoko kuZim. We are trying to deal with our situation and we’re doing just fine”.

A young girl turned a year older yesterday, and her Nigerian father, identified as Jefferson Uwoghiren, celebrated her, and suprised her with a crocodile as her birthday gift.

The man himself shared the photos online, and wrote: “Guess what happened to this Croc,today as my baby girl celebrate her birthday.”

Though, he didn’t reveal what he planned to do with the reptile, but he was pictured holding it, and presenting it to his daughter, while smiling for the camera.

Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has said that President Muhammadu Buhari does not only have voice impairment but has been on a life support since June 6, at a West-End, London Hospital.

Fayose said while he does not in any way wish Buhari dead, he had to put the record straight because of the President’s Ramadan message to Nigerians.

While he called on the Presidency to stop deceiving Nigerians with Buhari’s state of health, Fayose called on any one who disagrees with him on Buhari’s current state of health to produce him to Nigerians within the next 48 hours.

This was contained in a statement he signed and released on Wednesday, adding that the wife of Buhari, Mrs Aisha was not allowed to see her husband during her last visit to the United Kingdom.

The statement read,

“Today, it makes 53 days since our President; Muhammadu Buhari left Nigeria to attend to his health challenges abroad. No official information as to his whereabouts and his state of health.

“Like every other Nigerians, I do not wish the president dead, I have therefore maintained dignified silence since we were told that the President embarked on his second medical trip abroad this year.

“However, the recorded audio message which was released by the Presidency as the President’s Ramadan message to Nigerians necessitated my setting the records straight today. No doubt, the audio message was only a damage-control strategy aimed at further deceiving Nigerians.

“I have therefore elected in good conscience to state as follows: That the audio message does not represent the truth as our President does not only have voice impairment, he has been on life-support since June 6, 2017 at a West-End, London Hospital.

“Of a fact, our First Lady, Her Excellency, Mrs Aisha Buhari was not allowed to see her husband during her last visit to the United Kingdom if only she will be courageous enough to admit. Only three Nigerians who are of the President’s cabal are allowed access to the President. I will keep their identities for now.

“Anyone with contrary claim should produce the President to Nigerians within the next 48 hours. It is obvious that Nigeria is drifting like the last days of the Yar’Adua’s government.

“Nigerians will recall that I warned against electing President Buhari on the account of his age, health and mental capacity.

“Nigerians will also recall that when they released pictures to the press claiming that President Buhari had an interview with Kemi Fadojutimi of “All Eyes on Africa” TV Show in London, on Monday, February 23, 2015, I proved to the whole world that the interview was conducted in suite 881 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

“Hate me or like me, again I am putting Nigerians on notice on the present state of health of our president.

“In closing, let me state that I am not unaware of the various attempts on my life; I am undaunted as I remain committed to truth and fearlessness because a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.

“Dear Nigerians, even though President Buhari needs our prayers and we should keep praying that God takes total control of his situation, it is equally imperative that our leaders must tell us the truth at all times. It is time that the President takes the interests of Nigerians above his own and resign from office so that our country can move forward. The fate of Nigeria and its people must not remain in the hands of the Presidency cabal, our country must be set free.”

Unarguably Nigeria’s Most Notorious Kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, a.k.a. Evans, has sued the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris and three others over his continuous detention.

In a fundamental rights enforcement suit he filed before the Lagos Federal High Court, Evans prayed for an order of the court, mandating the respondents to immediately charge him to court if there is any case against him in accordance with Sections 35 (1) (c) (3) (4) (5) (a) (b) and 36 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He contends that his detention is illegal.

The three others he joined as respondents in the motion are the Nigeria Police Force, Commissioner of Police, Lagos State and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Police Command.

The suit was instituted on his behalf by a Lagos-based lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje.

The alleged kidnapper alternatively asked the court to order the respondents to without any further delay release him unconditionally if they do not have any offence for which he should be charged to court.

Barely two afters after resuming office, the Zamfara State governor, Mr. Abudal’aziz Abubakar Yari, has allegedly bought a property in the United States for a princely sum of $950,000.

According to Sahara Reporters:

Two years after taking office, SaharaReporters can exclusively reveal, Zamfara State governor, Mr. Abudal’aziz Abubakar Yari, bought a property in the United States for a princely sum of $950,000. The 2.1-acre property is located at 14800 Bowie Farm Court, Bowie Maryland (Zip code: MD 20721) has six full and two half bathrooms with a jacuzzi in the master bedroom.

Deed documents obtained by SaharaReporters from the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County, Maryland, USA, denote Mr. Yari as the sole owner of the property, which was purchased from a limited liability company, K Hovanian Hamptons, located at Creek 11, Delaware. The company used to be known as Real Property Holding, with an address at Prince George’s County, before changing its name on 25 January 2011.

The deed on the property is dated August 27, 2012, while the approval of the purchase was granted on 1 November 2012 after Yari paid the princely sum of $950,000 cash, there was no mortgage on the property. Equally captured on the deed document is the sum of $5,225, which was described as “recordation of tax paid” and $13,300, described as “transfer tax paid”, both offering indications that Mr. Yari operated a foreign account in clear breach of Code 3 of the Code of Conduct Bureau.

A real estate property tax information obtained by Saharareporters from Prince George’s County shows that Governor Yari paid taxes on the property up till date, his 2017 estate tax was $16, 583.10.

Mr. Yari bought the property after his fraudulently awarded N25billion in road contracts in Zamfara in 2012.

The code of conduct law expressly prohibits certain public officials from operating bank accounts in any country outside Nigeria. These include the President, Vice President, governor, deputy governor, ministers, commissioners, members of the National Assembly and the Houses of Assembly of the States.

According to the deed document, Mr. Yari signed the agreement in person, with Kimberley Armstead a notary public of Montgomery County State of Maryland, serving as a witness.
In May, this website exclusively reported that Mr. Yari, Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, is building a 100-room hotel in Lekki, Lagos, with the $3million he stole from the Paris Club loan refund to states. Aside from the $3million, Mr. Yari was also found to have diverted the sum of N500million from the Paris Club refund to pay off a loan. He was said to have withdrawn N500million from the N19billion Paris Club refund illegally paid into the account of Nigerian Governors’ Forum as payment to “consultants”. He deposited the stolen sum into a bank account with a mortgage bank from which he had taken an N800million loan to buy properties in 2013. This move, SaharaReporters learned, enabled him to renegotiate his debt from N800million to N500million.

Mr. Yari is thought to have trousered the sum of N2.2billion from the sum illegally diverted into the Nigerian Governors’ Forum Account by the Federal Ministry of Finance. The Senate President, Mr. Bukola Saraki, and his cronies also benefited to the tune of N3.5billion from illegal diversion, which is being investigated by the EFCC. Officials of the anti-graft agency told SaharaReporters in May that Mr. Yari’s hotel, which is under construction, has been listed as a proceed of crime and will be taken over once the EFCC obtains a court order.

Mr. Yari has denied ownership of any hotel in Lagos, claiming he does not even own a plot in the Nigeria’s commercial capital.

In 2017 over 1000 persons died as a result of a meningitis epidemic with Mr. Yari’s Zamfara leading in the number of deaths. At the peak of the epidemic, Yari reportedly said the epidemic was the punishment from God against his people for their sins.

The former Governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai has died.

Mr. Suntai who survived a plane crash at the Yola Airport in 2012, passed on at his home where he was undergoing rehabilitation for brain injuries that arose from the plane crash.

A woman who was visiting a jade market in Ruili City, south western China’s Yunnan province on June 27, reportedly fainted after accidentally breaking a jade bracelet worth 300,000 yuan (£34,000) while trying it on.

According to Dailymail UK, unfortunately for the female tourist in China, the jade bracelet slipped out of her hand and it cracked in two after hitting the floor as footage shows the moment the woman fainted upon learning the price of the bracelet.

Jade is a luxury product in China and is seen to represent good health and a long life, and following the smash, the shop’s owner told her that the bracelet was worth 300,000 yuan (£34,000).

She was reportedly so shocked that she passed out and had to be placed on the ground by family members in order to recover.

According to witnesses, the family offered the seller 70,000 yuan (£8,000) in damages however he refused saying that was not enough for them to break even.

The bracelet was valued by an independent expert to cost around 180,000 yuan (£20,700). The family agreed to pay the owner this sum of money.
