A Nigerian couple have taken their pre-Wedding photos to the next level as they give their shoot a village theme – the shoots shows the lovely couple cruising on a boat, as they go fishing and later preparing meal the local way.
It really is lovely though… Continue with their photos below:
BBNaija’s Miyonse, is obviously love stricken with an unknown woman and we’re sure we know who the celebrity Chef has fallen for as he has taken to his Instagram, to pen down a romantic poem to this mystery lady.
Although the gentleman didn’t disclose who he wrote his poem to, as the poem didn’t come with a caption either, the Chef left some trails that we’ve been able to sight.
At the top left corner of his text image, you can see a watermarked image of Tokunbo “TBoss” Idowu with that her signatory glasses on.
A line of the poem states,
‘If I were given a chance to choose again, I will choose you a million times over because life is not worth living it without you in it’. so it’s apparent that the duo are dating.
It’s being revealed newly that Joy Odama, the 200 level student of the Cross River State University of Science and Technology, who died mysteriously after she went to visit a certain Alhaji Usman Adamu, in Abuja last December, died of cocaine poison.
The autopsy report released by the National Hospital, Abuja, disclosed that Joy died of acute cocaine poison, and also suffered cardiogenic shock secondary to diffusion before she died.
The report reads in part:
“The cause of death was traced to cardiogenic shock secondary to diffusion, myocardial infaration secondary to possible acute cocaine poison.”
This is coming after the presidency, the Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives, IGP, DSS and other top security agencies, were petitioned by the mother of the deceased, Philomena Odama, over the death of her daughter, who revealed that the suspect had invited her daughter alongside other young girls to his house and promised to sponsor their education.
Vanguard reports that Joy died in his custody and the suspect allegedly connived with the police, to embalm her without her parents consent. The police allegedly told them to hands off the case and collect N300, 000 the suspect was offering them, saying they can not get justice as he is well connected in the society.
Some weeks ago, one twitter user with the handle, @samuel_face2 took to the platform to beg Nigerians to help him raise money to pay for his school fees.
And of course, Nigerians, out of sympathy, reached out to him, asked for his account number and then sent him some money.
But here’s the twisting gig, after he receives the money, he would block his donors and refuse to correspond with them further – He would still slide into peoples DM to ask them for money and then blocks whosoever turns him down as well as those who obliged him by sending some money.
But here’s how he was busted – he came online recently with a different handle to still ask for donations for his school fees but this time around, he was caught by twitter user @duchesskk who had had an encounter with him.
@duchesskk called him out and shared some proof that he indeed is a fraudster. First bank which he was using to collect the money has flagged the account as they are investigating it. They have also refunded the money to his donors.
The alleged thief has come out to apologize for defrauding Nigerians.
Ghanaian singer, Mr Eazi has come out to have the back of his alleged girlfriend, Temi Otedola after she shared the photo you see above on Twitter and people couldn’t help but notice the contrast in her knuckles.
It’s apparent that the skin tone in her knuckles differ and so trolls called her out for bleaching but our Ghanaian hero has come to her rescue as he says her knuckles make too much brain.
Dr. Ejiro Beulah Izeze has remarried four years after the death of her husband and father to her two children – Ejiro and Godwin Onoro were united in holy matrimony on the 7th of June 2017, at Oginibo Town in Ughelli-South LGA of Delta State.
Her brother, Comrade Reuben Rume Izeze, Member who represents the Ughelli-South State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, shared the photos thanking their first in-laws, the Orseers for looking after their daughter and sister “all these years of locust”
Read the post as you scroll and see more photos below:
“Indeed, no matter how long the “wahala” lasts, JOY is gonna come in the morning” he wrote.
Her friend, Nkechi Ika Bianca shared her story to inspire Nigerian single mothers, widows and divorcees. Read below:
“Let me tell you a short story about my friend.
Dr. Ejiro Beulah Orseer was married, but she became widowed some years ago. She had two daughters with her late husband, who died 4 years ago, while they were still married.
She recently got married again to a man whom I don’t know personally, but looks to me like a good and gentleman.
Some days ago, she told us how she’s having butterflies in her tummy. You know that feeling of true love.
Why am I writing this?
Firstly, I want to say a big congratulations to my sweetheart and Facebook friend, Dr. Ejiro Beulah Orseer. A woman whom I met on Facebook but have come to love and admire.
I hope your happiness increases in your new home. I hope you never stop being happy.
I sought Ejiro’s permission to make this post.
To all ye single mothers, most especially the ones who still want to get married and/or find lifetime committed companions, this is for you.
Ours is a society where single parents, most especially single mothers are made to seem like “rejected goods”. And I’m trying in my own little way to change such narrative.
You have been told that single mothers do not deserve great men, if at all they deserve to have male companions.
This belief even makes some men think they are doing single mothers a favour by dating or marrying them.
Listen my dear sisters, and get these into your heads.
No man, and I repeat that NO MAN is doing you a favour by dating or marrying you. Do NOT date or marry any man who gives you the impression that he is doing you a favour by being with you.
There are several great men out there who will love you GENUINELY even as a single mother in your 20s, 30s, 40s, and older.
Many single mothers that I know got remarried to VERY RESPONSIBLE MEN.
Earlier this year, I wrote about my aunty who got married in the late 80s, fled from her abusive husband in the early 90s, and got remarried in the early 2000.
Her first daughter (only child from first marriage) is a doctor currently doing her NYSC, the second is currently a student at Unilag, and the other two are still in secondary school.
Nora Oma Patrick got married this year, a while after she left her abusive first marriage. She has two children from her first marriage.
Gillian Chikaodi Nwangumah who also has two children from her previous marriage remarried last year to a cute dude.
I can go on naming them.
So…..
Never lose your self-esteem due to loss of spouse or divorce or even because you are approaching 35 years of age.
Never remain in an abusive relationship because you don’t want to be termed divorcee and single parent.
Don’t settle for ass holes just because you think no man will love you again.
Save up some money. Buy nice clothes, buy a makeup kit, have a makeover from head to toe, get your grove back, set your standards and BE VERY SELECTIVE…. yes, you heard me, I said be selective.
The chances of second time love for women are very much higher than the Nigerian society make you believe.
Nigerian cross dresser and self proclaimed male Barbie, Bobrisky, has yet again bragged about himself being prettier than most Nigerian women, precisely 70% according to him.
The transvestite who has taken to a more feminine look recently as he dons human hair and all, also addressed those who call him out for not having female sex organs and asked them if theirs have gotten them all the material wealth he has acquired.
He’s quoted:
“I’m prettier than 70% women in Nigeria ?? so pls stop hating come and learn from Bobrisky. Did I hear some of u saying I don’t have pussy and Breast.
Oh sorry wat has ur breast and pussy given u iPhone 6 and 100k I’m sorry for u. I don’t have any but my BAE got me a Benz and a house ? . Some of u that has breast and Pussy have you asked urself y ur man still cheat on u ???? Awon olodo. D day d bloggers will know my BAE chai most of u girls will cry ? ehnnnn.”

32-year-old man, identified as Robinson Omeje was charged in a Makurdi Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday for allegedly killing his 18-month-old daughter, Esther Robinson.
The plea of the defendant was not taken, as he claimed a voice pronounced her a witch and directed him to kill her but the court lacked the jurisdiction to entertain the matter.
The Magistrate, Mrs Theresa Wergba, ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case until August 2, 2017.
The prosecutor, Inspector Adole Oluwa, told the court that the case was reported at the ‘E’ Police Division, Makurdi, by one Doom Robinson of New Street, Joseph Catholic Church, Akpehe Makurdi, on May 18, 2017.
He then said that the accused wife had reportedly returned from her shop and found her daughter’s lifeless body inside a plastic bucket.
In addition, he explained that during police investigation, the accused person was arrested, and he confessed to having strangled the girl to death when a voice told him that she was a witch.
According to the prosecutor, the investigation into the matter was still in progress and prayed the court for an adjournment, adding that the offence contravened Section 222 of the Penal Code Law of Benue State, 2004.

A Nigerian Lady, Ruona J. Meyer shared amazing story of her lifting from grass to grace after she got a big job with British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, which she started on Monday, 12th of June, 2017.
She revealed in her story that while hustling many years ago, she sold kerosene in front of her mother’s shop in Lagos now she has reaped the fruit of her labour because she did not loose focus.
She wrote:
‘God sure has a sense of humour; my first ever by-line in journalism came in a THISDAY newspaper on 12 June 2003.
Today makes it exactly 14 years of sweat, tears, grit, sacrifices, smiles, successes and blessings. I have had the privilege to be mentored by great journalists including Simon Kolawole, Paul Ibe, Ijeoma Nwogwugwu, Kadaria Ahmed, Dele Olojede, and sound professionals like Femi Adeniran, who picked me to work under him at GTBank HQ.
I cannot thank you all enough. You have raised me to be a go-getter; I was the girl who would walk all the way from Cele Bus-stop back home through Ilasa to Isolo at midnight after “production;” the one who had a small business selling kerosene by the bottle in front of my Mother’s “chemist” shop at Ilasa, while racking up by-lines for Thisday. I was the girl who had no degree, yet wrote speeches for Tayo Aderinokun (God rest his beautiful soul).
These people moulded me in a way that it has become second nature to me to see every setback was a learning curve, every challenge as an exercise to overcome and smile back on. Thanks to you all, I have had the privilege of an extensive professional life; Reuters, the FT, and who knew I would now be paid to go to work, for the BBC, and be “allowed” to speak Pidgin??
I am literally in Journalism Heaven right now! I have not stopped intermittently crying happy and sad tears, as my Dad Godwin is not here physically to share in this joy. Then there is Micha, who has never stood in the way of my professional progess, and has instead made extensive emotional and financial sacrifices for me and supported me roundly to be the best at this role since I moved bak to Lagos. My siblings have been just THE BEST, even though the one that drives me mad of them all is Ronke.
Those who knew when the process began months back (yes this has been from way back) often asked me: why would you move from Germany? Well, because the BBC is pioneering a great thing for Africa, opening a Pidgin Service, and I would NEVER turn down the privilege to be a witness and worker at the start of what is going to be a great shift in my continent’s media landscape. I am so excited to be back in the newsroom, I feel…alive, and…I cannot say too much, but we hope to show you all what is possible, so help us God.
14 years since it all started, I am back here, in Nigeria, and if anybody reads this, just know that with hard work, EVERYTHING is possible and what is yours will be yours.
Invest in yourself. Do things the right way. Surround yourself with the right partners, mentors, family members and friends – quality over quantity. Cutting corners and being ashamed of being thought of as a nerd/efiko/mumu is not cool. Own your straight-mindedness and unique personality aka Ibile factor. Own your degree and the opportunities it brings. Own your career and be strategic about it. Work hard, and then…play hard. Like, laugh HARD.
No one is guaranteed a long life, so it is better to live your best professional and personal life.
As I take on this role, I want to ask you all to please make sure I never walk alone o. Abeg, if there are ways I can serve you the public better, let us know. When I make a mistake, tell me; critique me, because we are all in this o. Na me and una waka come!’
The Father of Billionaire Kidnapper, Chukwudi “Evans” Dumeme Onwuamadike, says he lives in abject poverty and he had no idea whatsoever that his son has become so wealthy through illegal means.
He said the last time he saw his son was in 2008 at which time he advised him to desist from illegal means of acquiring wealth.
Identified as Mr. Stephen Onwuamadike, Evans father revealed to newsmen that it was Evans’ mother who misled him and that he has been manipulating evans since he was three years old.
He also said he used to be very wealthy but Evans’ mother led to his downfall and she left him with nothing. His current wife and her son also accused Evans’ mother of being the person behind Evans’ predicament. They painted Evans as a good and loving son who was only under the influence of his mother.
Pleading with the Federal Government to forgive Evans, Mr Stephen Onwuamadike told New Telegraph that he has not been able to sleep since he received the phone call informing him that his son has been apprehended.
He said: “My son is a good boy, but his mother misled him.”
Stephen said Evans’ real name is Chukwudumeje. He alleged that Evans is being spiritually manipulated by his ex-wife.
He said:
“I was devastated when I heard the news through a telephone call; since that call, I had not been able to sleep. I believe in a straight forward and honest life. If I noticed someone is not honest, I run away from the person. When my business was thriving, I did business with white people. I was one of the early millionaires that emerged from this town until things went wrong courtesy of my first wife in 1985. She caused me so many problems and eventually caused my financial ruins. In fact, she brought me down to where I am today. I’m suffering and I can barely put food on my table.”
Stephen who lives in his country home at Akammili, Umudim, Nnewi, Anambra State, said that he tried his best to raise Evans by sending him to the best schools around.
“My estranged wife kept interfering in his academics. You won’t believe that my son, Chukwudumeje (Evans) has not visited home since 2008. The last time I saw him was 10 years ago. I asked him the sort of business he was into. He said he was into drug trafficking. I advised him to desist because it was an illicit business and the law was against it. I told him plainly that it was better to be involved in a legitimate business and wait for God’s blessings. I did good business and it thrived; I was very successful. I have travelled to so many countries of the world in the course of my business,” Stephen said.
He added:
“His mother started manipulating him when he was only three years old; look at where it has got him. I don’t even have his phone number. I’m pleading with the Nigerian authorities to have mercy on him and give him a second chance. He was misdirected and misled by his mother. I heard about all the millions, and I said to myself, do I have such manner of rich son and the roof over my house is leaking. I now survive by selling pigs.”
Evans’ stepbrother, Chidolie Onwuamadike, said his brother’s ruin was caused by his mother. He noted that if Evans had followed their father’s advice, he wouldn’t have become a criminal.
“As brothers, we don’t even interact at all. I don’t have his number and my heart is pained because he is such a loving, nice guy from the little I know of him.”
A tearful Mrs Etty Onwuamadike, Evans’ mother said:
“Chukwudumeje is a nice boy when he lived with me. The only gift I gave him years back was the Holy Bible. I don’t want my son to die. I’m still convinced he will serve God.”
Many weeks back, Mia released a new track titled; “I am a fan” featuring Jeremih.. and many Nigerians called her out for an apparent theft.. This is because Phyno had earlier dropped his version in 2016, which featured Mr. Eazi and American producer, DeCarlo.
Shortly after the drama surfaced on social media, a report alleged that Phyno was not the true owner of the song in contention, that the rapper ‘reconstructed’ the song which they said originally belonged to a producer called Remo.
This report deeply upset Phyno.
However, the Ezege rapper has finally opened up on the true details behind the whole drama after American producer DeCarlo, who Phyno featured in the song, went on Twitter yesterday to say he only gave Pia Mia permission to use it.
A Prisoner, Brett Rogers, who was jailed for killing his own mother and her friend have been allegedly killed by his fellow inmates at HMP Long Lartin in Evesham, Worcestershire, at around 6pm on June 7.
The two inmates have been charged with murder as Police then launched a murder investigation following the death at the maximum security prison.

His mum died of multiple knife wounds, while her friend suffered a head injury and stab wounds.

It was a bizarre drama over the weekend when an Abuja- based cleric, Jacob Oyedepo, invited ‘bouncers’ to disperse relatives and friends who had gathered to bury his wife on a property the deceased was said to have developed before death came calling.
Oyedepo, according to some sources, works with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) although there were those who expressed doubt about his real role as a Pastor in the church.
The deceased, Mrs. Christiana Adetola Oyedepo (nee Abu) died on May 2, 2017 after a sickness that was said to have lasted for about three months. She was aged 45 years.
The incident, which took place at Oke-Andi area of Ilorin, Kwara State, sent tongues wagging as to why a cleric would take such a step over a woman that was married to him for 17 years and had four kids before she died.
There were speculation that the cleric had attempted to sell the uncompleted property and was concerned that burying the woman on the site would discourage prospective buyers from the property.
Family members claimed that the deceased had embarked on the project with loans obtained from a cooperative society and was still servicing the loan when she died.
The deceased was said to have been a teacher in one of the public schools in the state and had developed the property on her own. Family sources claimed that their marriage had been rocked by allegations of maltreatment allegedly by the cleric but that the deceased had kept it under wrap to prevent public ridicule.
A family source said the two had met in church and started their relationship there.
“She was head of choir and he was head of Youth team in the church,” the source within the family said, adding: “Our parents never approved of the marriage initially because the deceased just came home to introduce the man and insisted that she was in love with and that he was a good Christian.
That was what made us to finally accept. We didn’t know there was a lot of abuse in the marriage until she gave birth to the fourth child and she began to speak about it.”

Daddy Freeze wrote;
“I respect Bob a lot as I can see how far he has come and how well he has done for himself.
However, as a good friend of the brand and from the point of view of a customer, I can categorically inform you that this is not a #Rolex ~FRZ”

A Kenyan lady has revealed she loves her job so much, she had to end her relationship with her boyfriend because of it.
Alice Awuor Omito, 26, is a morgue attendant, and she has been working at the mortuary since 2015. She started with Star Mortuary in Kisumu, before heading to Rosewood Funeral Home in Rongo, Migori County, where she currently works.
According to her, she enjoys spending a better part of her working days with the dead and preparing the dead for burial makes her happy.
“I enjoy spending a better part of my working days with the dead. I can’t imagine staying away from them even for a single working day. I have to go and look at the bodies stored in freezers daily,” Awuor told eDaily.
Awuor, who dropped out of nursing school added:
“I discontinued my studies in nursing and pursued mortuary science because of available job opportunities in the latter field. I don’t regret changing professions, not one bit.”
She noted that mortuary science is a field dominated by male workers, but said that it does not scare her as she is often chosen over her male colleagues to do certain tasks of preparing the dead for burial.
The mother of one added that contrary to many people’s belief that morticians often use hard drugs before getting down to work, she has never abused drugs.
“When I was new in this job I had fears and challenges handling the dead, but now I enjoy every bit of my work. I adapted so fast and I am comfortable,” she said.
On the challenges she has faced on the job, Awuor said she was dumped by her ex-partner after he learned about the job.
“My boyfriend recently dumped me when I told him that I work as a morgue attendant. Discrimination is just one of the several challenges I face for being a mortician. The challenges are normal though. No job is immune to challenges regardless its nature.”
