Nigerian singers, Falz and 9ice, have come out to debunk any media reports that they are in a fight, following the controversies between them.

Recall, the Nigerian rapper had called out some musicians who were using their songs to promote internet fraudsters popularly known as ‘Yahoo boys’, while stating a line in 9ice’s song.

The statement prompted the ‘gongo aso’ singer to say in another interview, that those he praised in his song were merely “socialites” and hardworking men.

The attack and counter attack made fans believe that a rift had started between the two.

But, in a recent video on Instagram, the duo said there was no fight, with Falz saying 9ice is his uncle.

Falz wrote:

‘Don’t get it twisted. There was never a Falz vs 9ice.’

Yobe senator caught in leaked video with two women speaks

Few days ago, Social media was on fire after Sahara Reporters posted a video of a Yobe Senator, Bukar Ibrahim after he had sex with two women.

Apparently, the senator cares less who thinks less of him following the leaked video of him getting dressed in presence of two women, presumably after a possible sex romp.

Ibrahim, who represents Yobe East Senatorial District, told PREMIUM TIMES in his first interview since the scandal broke that he owes no one an explanation as he did not commit any official wrongdoing and the video was only made public after attempts to blackmail him failed.

In his words:

“This is a personal, private matter. What does my having been with a girl have to do with the public? You know the normal thing: people ask for unreasonable things, and if you deny them, they try to blackmail you if they have a way,” Mr. Ibrahim, a former governor of Yobe State, said Monday afternoon.

The video was published by Sahara Reporters on Sunday, and it quickly caught online frenzy. The footage, showed Mr. Ibrahim reaching for his underwear, apparently after emerging from the shower.

One of the two women in the video, could be seen holding a device that was capturing the activities; while the other strolled about.

Mr. Ibrahim said he couldn’t remember where or when sexual activities took place, but the room appeared like a typical motel accommodation. The senator said he owed no one an explanation since he was not accused of any crime.

“If they say I raped, that’s a different matter altogether,” Mr. Ibrahim said. “Is it because I am a public official then I am not supposed to be entitled to private life?”

The senator said he knew when one of the women was filming him, but was told it was only for fun and they also wanted to illuminate the room with a camera.

“This is something that happened between two adults.” Mr. Ibrahim, who signed a controversial Sharia law while in office as governor, nonetheless, said he will investigate the matter.

“I have commenced investigations to find out why it is circulating,” the senator said. “But from all indications, it is a blackmail.”

JAMB Direct Entry 2017: Sales of Form announced, to Begin July 10.

The JAMB Direct Entry 2017 will begin on the 10th of July 2017.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will begin the sale of the 2017 Direct Entry forms and registration of foreign candidates on July 10.

JAMB’s Head of Public Relations, Fabian Benjamin, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bwari, FCT, on Monday.

Mr. Benjamin said the process of registration for the Direct Entry was spelt out in the just concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

He said candidates for Direct Entry were expected to have Advanced Level, Diploma or its equivalent, while foreign candidates must possess proof of residency abroad.

“For the foreign candidates to be eligible to write examination in a foreign centre, you must have stayed in the foreign country for at least a minimum of six months.

“You must have schooled there, you must have had your secondary education there; you must show evidence of having stayed there for period of six months.

“If you have stayed in Nigeria and just fly to London to register, you are not eligible; you must have schooled or had your secondary education outside the country.

“Not that you just finished Senior Secondary Certificate Examination in 2016, and you are rushing to the United Kingdom to go and write your examination,” Mr. Benjamin said.

He noted that measures had been put in place to ensure that candidates who wrote the previous examination and failed were not registered in foreign countries, unless they meet the guideline.

Mr. Benjamin explained that the Direct Entry would be sold at the same price previously pegged at N5,000, adding that the Board was yet to fix the price for application for foreign candidates.

“We are discussing on that, we are looking at selling the forms at $100 (N31,525.00) for Africans and $150 (N47,287.50) for non-Africans,” he said.

He said that the JAMB Direct Entry was mainly for people who already possessed a diploma certificate and wished to do a programme in the university.

Shaquan Taylor his daughter Nylah Lewis and baby’s mother Tammy Lewis

A 19-year-old man accused of beating his 16-month-old daughter within an inch of her life never wanted the girl to be born at all, reports say.

Based on his Facebook posts, the teen dad from Brooklyn, New York had never pretended that he wanted a child from his girlfriend and mother of his first baby, 17-year-old Tammy Lewis.

Shaquan Taylor once wrote about his then girlfriend’s pregnancy ;

“Feel mad disrespected.” That was February 2016 around the time his daughter Nylah Lewis was born

“Told that lil b—h to get abortion (and) she tells me she is but still keep it. Exactly why I hate that lil b—h,”

He complained frequently via Facebook about his troubled relationship with the baby’s mother, Tammy.

“I didn’t even want to have a baby by her (and) it’s sad to say, but f— it, s— happens,” he wrote in February 2016.

“Please, don’t ask who Nylah’s mom is, nor do I still f— with her cause NO. Just f—-d (that) hotty a–, that’s it.

“She really getting me aggy (agitated)”.

Despite the long-lingering animosity, though, the dueling parents agreed that Taylor could spend some time with his daughter on Father’s Day, and that was when he used the opportunity to vent his frustrations on his 16-month-old daughter.

Taylor was alone with his daughter when 17-year-old Tammy Lewis received a Facebook message telling her there was a problem with Nylah and she needed to come to the apartment.

The critically injured child was fighting for breath when the mother arrived, and Tammy grabbed the girl and stormed out of the apartment.

It was reported that said Taylor chased the pair down to the lobby, where he flattened the mother with a single punch as she clutched their little girl.

An emergency service crew arrived and grabbed Nylah, rushing the girl to the hospital as Taylor continued to chase and beat the teenage mother.

The helpless child remained in critical condition for three days after the Father’s Day beatdown that left her with multiple skull fractures, bleeding on the brain and a black eye.

At a point, Nylah needed a blood transfusion and officials feared the battered child wouldn’t survive the attack, but she fought on.

Taylor denied beating his daughter, initially claiming she fell off the bed. He later changed his story to say she fell off the toilet.

Either way, investigators said, none of the girl’s injuries were consistent with a fall.

It was also revealed that Taylor’s new girlfriend is currently pregnant for him.

Taylor remained held on $250,000 bail on Tuesday, June 27, when he marked his 19th birthday behind bars.

His Daughter, Nylah fought for her life for five days after the horrific assault, but sadly she gave up on Friday, June 23, and she was buried on Saturday, July 1.

The suspected thief operates by confronting people after they make withdrawals and tells them that he wants to ‘change money’, after changing the money for him, the owner’s money will drastically reduce on getting home.

However, luck ran out of him when he used the same trick to steal N23,000 from one Mr. Chucks just after he defrauded a man of N30,000 at UBA.

Mr. Chuks, on discovering that his money had reduced, then stormed GT Bank angrily where he caught this fraudster.

Ikorodu Residents Apprehend Another Badoo Suspect (Photos)

Another suspected member of the Notorious Badoo cult group has been apprehended inside a building occupied by an old woman at the back of Access bank in Ikorodu, Lagos, this morning.

His bag was searched and among the items found in it was a bottle of black oil, four atm cards.

When interrogated, he could not explain how he got into the building.

According to reports, the suspect’s mother even came to the area as she confirmed the boy to be a bad boy. She reportedly showed people where she was injured due to cutlass attack from the young man.

A Facebook user, Omolaja Dax,‎ who shared these photos, said confirmed that he was caught few hours ago at the back of Access bank in Ikorodu Benson area of Lags.

He wrote:

This an allergy badoo, caught at the back of access bank, ikorodu benson. He was found in a house whom they knew not hw he get inside the compound which house am old woman, black oil was found on him, 4 atmcard, Janka chief alot more.

Soldiers were called to arrest the young man as residents prevented the police from taking him away.

A Facebook user, Zion Oshiobugie, has taken to his page to reveal that he will be marrying his ex-student, Elohor Omohiro, who once came to his learning center to buy JAMB form in 2012.

According to him, they’ve been through a lot, and have kept their relationship going for many years.

I have been teaching since 2008. The job is challenging, mind bugging and mentally demanding, as such you may not have time for yourself.

A group of yahoo boys have been reported to have allegedly consulted ritualists to kill Police Informants who report their dubious activities.

As potted in Edo state, they were seen and heard chanting all sorts of spiritual incantations in their usual red uniform in Ohovbe, Benin City.

A Facebook user, identified as Oluwa Mega Bright, took to his page to share the video of the ritualists.

Mounted Police Roadblock leads to the death of 4 in Anambra

According to a Facebook User, Mazi Nnadozie Uzochuqu, it was revealed that a couple riding on a Motorcycle collided with another Motorcycle that was coming in from a sharp turn, however the mounted Police Road-block at the sharp turn was said to be the major cause of the collision.

He wrote;

When they say Nigerian police is your friend think twice. I saw this on my way to shop and stop by to know what’s going on.. When I asked a guy beside me he said..
This accident happen yesterday evening alone obosi opposite slaughter room when a group of police men at obosi police station mounted their usual roadblocks at a dangerous sharp corner , unknown for this lady and her boyfriend whom her boyfriend was riding on a bike saw the road block with another kymco motorcycle coming towards them collide the boyfriend and two other persons died at a spot, this lady was taken to a nearby hospital about 20min she died , after the accident those police men run inside their station and nothing has been done. Since today I have never been myself because of the deep hole I saw on her forehead. #We_demand_justice
