A Nigerian Lady based in South Africa, who yesterday trended after she threatened to throw a baby she found at her doorsteps, has said she has sold her soul to the Devil.
In a shocking update on her Facebook wall, the lady identified as Diane Emily Kamsi, From Anambra state, attacked Nigerians who have one way or the other, preached to her.
She captioned a post;

Catholic Illinois Bishop, Thomas Paprocki, has issued a decree asking priests to deny gay people several religious offerings like the holy communion.
He apparently disagrees with Pope Francis even though he repeatedly said he believes in treating gay people with dignity and compassion.
The decree, which isn’t public yet but was sent to staff, instructed priests not to give gay couples communion or their last rites until they repent for their relationship.
He also said that church property can’t be used for same-sex marriages and that no person in a gay relationship can become part of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, a program that allows adults convert to Catholicism and be baptized.
Paprocki, who is a bishop of the Catholic Diocese in Springfield, IL, says he is not backing down from the decree.
He said
“These norms are necessary in light of changes in the law and in our culture regarding these issues”.
However, one Reverend James Martin took to his Facebook account to disagree with him
He wrote:
“If bishops ban members of same-sex marriages from receiving a Catholic funeral, they also have to be consistent. They must also ban divorced and remarried Catholics who have not received annulments, women who has or man who fathers a child out of wedlock, members of straight couples who are living together before marriage, and anyone using birth control. For those are all against church teaching as well.”
Last night, suicide bombers detonated their explosives at different locations including the security office in the University of Maiduguri.
About two lives were reportedly lost in the disastrous attack.
The incident was confirmed by the Borno State Public Relations Officer, Victor Isukwu, at about 12 midnight on a WhatsApp platform managed by his office, but he did not give full details of casualties recorded.
He said:
“Let’s not speculate yet”, he cautioned reporters.
“At Unimaid only one male suicide bomber died; three university security personnel injured among which one later died.”
A professor in the Mass Communications department of the university who also doubles as the spokesperson of the institution, Danjuma Gambo, confirmed in a BBC Hausa broadcast early this morning that three suicide attacks took place in the university last night.
Residents of Maiduguri who celebrated a hitch-free Sallah could not go to sleep on Sunday night as sounds of bombings and shootings rented most part of the night and early hours of the dawn.
The city vibrated with the first blast, which occurred at about 10:15 p.m. Immediately after it was confirmed that it was from the university campus, another explosion occurred at exactly 11 p.m.
It has not been confirmed if the second blast which seemed bigger recorded any casualty, but it was followed by hours of shootings and sounds of military vehicular movements.
The university has become one of the major targets of the Boko Haram since it came under its first direct attack on January 16.
About four suicide attacks have been executed within and around the university since then.
One of the attacks led to the death of a renowned professor of veterinary medicine, who died alongside few others during the first attack.
The University of Maiduguri lies at the outskirts of the host city along the route that leads to Bama from Maiduguri.
The institution is about 45km from Kawuri town where the official entrance gate to Sambisa forest is located.
Aside the brick perimeter fence on the front side of the university, there has been no serious barrier at the back, which appears to have provided an entry point for the insurgents.

A Newly employed staff of a popular hotel has been arrested for allegedly stealing two laptops barely 24 hours after he was employed.
The 29-year-old was said to have visited the hotel in the early hours of Friday, June 23, in a bid to seek for employment, and was he employed by the management of the hotel on the spot after serious plea.
After closing from work later that night, two laptops were reported missing and investigations revealed that the newly employed staff had made away with the company’s properties.
He was then handed over to the police after he was arrested by the Hotel security guards at white sand stadium, idera ilu.
The hotel manager said:
“The man came to seek for a job In hotel and just after the night when we have closed, He went away with this two laptops”.
A corpse of an unidentified young lady suspected to have been murdered by some unknown assassins have been found in a street corner in Ikotun, a suburb of Lagos.
It was gathered that the corpse was found by the residents on Saturday morning at Adedayo Adedeji Street by Church Bus stop in Abaranje area of the community.
When P.M.EXPRESS visited the scene later Saturday, the corpse was still lying at the spot where she was dumped with no sign that the authority has been informed for the evacuation of the body.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained as some residents told our correspondent that the lady was not living in the area because her face was unknown.
It was learnt that the lady might have visited the area for an undisclosed mission before she might have been killed and dumped there.
The residents said they woke up in the morning only to find the corpse which was still fresh.
Some other residents told P.M.EXPRESS there was a popular hotel few meters from where the corpse was found that has many young girls troop there for weekend runs.
They suspect the deceased might be one of them.
When our correspondent contacted the Ikotun Divisional Police Officer, DPO, he promised to dispatched his men to the scene to carry the corpse and deposited it at a mortuary for autopsy report.
As at the time our correspondent left the scene, the victim has not been identified and her corpse was still lying there.

Meanwhile, Reno Omokri has reacted to the above audio message by President Buhari.. Omokri argued that a president cannot address a nation in a sectional language. He wrote;

Suspected kidnap kingpin Chukwudumeje George Onwuamadike (aka Evans) has confessed that the gunshot scar on his shoulder came from the injury he sustained during a 2006 bank robbery in Lagos.
This is contrary to his earlier claim that he got the injury during a fracas following a drug business in South Africa in 2007.
Evans, who was confronted with a newspaper interview that indicated the scar was as a result of a gun duel between him and his gang members at the National Theatre in Surulere, Lagos Mainland, admitted that he lied earlier.
According to the suspect, he and his gang members robbed a bank in 2006. While sharing the loot, there was a disagreement, which led to a fight.
He admitted that they started shooting themselves, adding that many of the robbers died. He was seriously injured and abandoned by the others.
The kingpin also admitted that he was arrested by the police, adding that he and two others were transferred to the Imo State Police Command, where they were released.
The officer in charge of the Inspector General of Police’ (IGP) Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Abba Kyari, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), said:
“Evans was confronted with the interview on Sunday and he admitted that the bullet wounds are from disagreement over sharing of loot after bank robbery in Lagos in 2006. They shot one another and many gang members died while Evans survived with bullet wounds.”
A Superintendent of Police with the Band section of the Police College in Lagos, simply identified as Tina, reportedly sought to get the case being put together against Evans after the bank robbery dropped. Her attempt was rebuffed.
She reportedly travelled to Owerri from where a report was sent requesting the transfer of Evans to the command because of another case he was involved in, which they claimed was under investigation.
The kingpin was quietly released inOwerri. Tina is believed to be related to Evans’ mother.
The Nation gathered that the police were out to fish out all those who participated in the 2006 release of Evans and two of his gang members. They are to be prosecuted.
It was also learnt that the police have begun a manhunt for another soldier said to be a member of Evans’ gang.
The soldier whose identity is yet to be revealed, it was gathered, was attached to one of the Army formations in Lagos.
A source said the police had the soldier’s names and pictures, adding that they would leave no stone unturned in arresting him.
“He should have been arrested on Saturday night but we believe he might have gone into hiding after his colleague, Victor Chukwunonso, was caught. That was why the police high command did not want to release information on the arrest of Chukwunonso because there are so many others being investigated.
“But I know he would be caught. Our bosses will simply approach army authorities with evidence and request that he be handed over to the police.
“It is true that they have started looking for that Tina woman and many other officers who were serving at the Imo State Command at that time that Evans was released. So many heads will roll in this matter.”
Joseph Kaguthi, the head of Nyumba Kumi Initiative in Central Kenya recently caused a furore when he asked women to accommodate their husbands’ lovers as co-wives
Kaguthi, a one-time no-nonsense provincial administrator, told The Nairobian that one of the reasons he advocates for polygamy is because “it is selfish and inconsiderate of women not to share their husbands”
“We are in a crisis in this region. Our population is dwindling at an alarming rate and soon, it will be irreversible, unless we allow men and women to openly acknowledge polygamous unions.”
He said that polygamy is the only way to ensure that children in the region grow up in families with both parents.
“The single parent phenomenon is so widespread and more men and women are growing up without knowing how men and women are supposed to relate to each other.”
Men in Central Kenya were once polygamous for the purposes of wealth generation through dowry and ‘putting together a labour force’ to work on the farms.
“We must embrace who we are as a people. We are not like the coastal communities who enter into polygamous unions for the sake of having a protector, provider and ‘penetrator’,” Kaguthi advised.
Kaguthi pointed out that men preferred to marry women who were industrious and responsible, which is still the case today.
“If you can afford it, you should be allowed to marry more than one woman. We must not hide behind Western cultural values,” he added.
Kaguthi is not a lone crusader for this ‘cause.’ The chair of the Council of Elders (Kiama Kia Maa) Rware Chapter, Gakuo Matu, supports polygamy, arguing that, “Unlike women in the 19th century, the women of Central Kenya today are industrious, independent and willing to take care of their children. If anything, they are an asset to a man, not a liability.”
Matu reckons that “most men in Central Kenya have two or three women in their lives and the only difference is that only one is recoginsed while the rest lurk in the shadows which is unfortunate for them and their children.”
Matu further explained that polygamy would be a wise investment as it is cheaper to have a wife than to maintain a mistress, which is what most men in Central Kenya are doing.
“You can spend Sh5,000 on a wife and she will be happy, but in the case of a mistress, every time you see her, you will have to part with about Sh30,000 on weekend excursions out of town, where you spend on nyama choma and alcohol over and over again,” explains Matu, adding that in a polygamous union, the women in man’s life are forced to co-share what he can afford.
He sounded a warning to women who refuse to let their husbands marry second wives, noting that such men either become hostile or abandon their families.
“Men like new things. After a few decades with the same woman, they start looking for another woman. If a woman stands in the way of that, it makes the man feel trapped and angry,” Matu noted.
According to Matu, men should not be caged because when they cannot get what they want, the will lash out at the closest people to them, who in most cases are the wives.
Nyeri resident and lawyer Waruguru Kiai believes that the polygamy debate is being fuelled by the conflict between Christian beliefs and cultural values.
“Before the advent of Christianity, our Kikuyu culture supported polygamy. However, the man had to adequately provide for all the wives and children, ensure their security and all wives and children were treated equally. None was victimised or mistreated by the other and respect was paramount.”
Drawing parallels with today’s world, Waruguru says that people are torn between Christianity and African traditions because the moment a man solemnises his marriage in church, he relinquishes the right to marry another woman. What this has resulted in is men opting for several ‘side dishes,’ who for all intents and purposes are their wives, with some bearing them children.
“But these women, unlike in the days of our grandparents, are not wives. They may carry on as wives, but they are not. They do not enjoy the security that culture accorded such women. This is why, as we have witnessed, when prominent men die, there are always women who are sidelined and end up in court,” explains Waruguru.
“However, men should understand that the concept of polygamy was to maintain the dignity and respect of women. There is no need to keep one woman at home and others on the side as ‘matrimonial refugees.’ Men should stop sitting on the fence and man up!” she said.

Nigerian rapper, Babalola Falemi, popularly known with stage name, Sauce Kid or Sinzu has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for stealing $15,388 using stolen credit card numbers in Boise and Meridian, Idaho Stateman News reported on June 23.
According to the charge, Sauce Kid obtained stolen bank card numbers and identifying information from their owners. He then encoded the account numbers onto blank plastic cards.
After using an automated system to change account PINs, he was able to withdraw cash from bank ATMS and buy merchandise from stores between July 23 and 26 2016/
All of the losses took place at Boise ATMs owned by Idaho Central Credit Union and at Albertsons stores in Meridian, court documents alleged.
Police arrested Sauce Kid at the Boise Airport as he was about to board a flight. He was caught with a card encoding device and more than $6,000 in cash.
Sauce Kid was initially charged with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, eight counts each of bank fraud, aggravated identity theft, and possession of 15 or more fraudulent bank cards.

Acting Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Galadanshi Dasuki while addressing news men on Saturday at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja, said that the Police were not in a hurry to release Evans , inspite of calls from different quarters to do so.

“Evans has been a kidnapper for a long time and has been on the wanted list of the Police in Anambra, Abuja , Enugu, Edo and Lagos states. Besides, we need to under study him as well as debrief him . By so doing, we intend to use his tactics to get others. He will eventually be charged to court after investigation is concluded”
