One of the Kardashian Sisters, Khloé, has been accused of Copyright infringement after she shared a photo of herself on Instagram.
Apparently, she was sued by a paparazzi agency, Xposure for removing their copyright information from one of their photos and shared it on her Instagram page without giving credits to the agency.
The photo causing the whole frenzy was taken when Khloe was dining with her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, at the Miami restaurant Komodo in September 2016 by photographer Manual Munoz. The photo was then licensed to the Daily Mail as an exclusive.
According to court documents, Xposure Photos is suing Khloe for $150,000 in damages. Xposure Photos claims that the company would have profited from the photos if Khloe hadn’t shared them on her account.
“Kardashian’s Instagram post made the photograph immediately available to her nearly 67 million followers and others, consumers of entertainment news — and especially news and images of Kardashian herself, as evidenced by their status as followers of Kardashian —who would otherwise be interested in viewing licensed versions of the photograph in the magazines and newspapers that are plaintiff’s customers,” the company said in a statement.
Actress and mother of one, Tonto Dikeh has reached out to her colleague, Halima Abubakar after the latter called out “some Nollywood” colleagues for not reaching out to her during her Fibroid removal process.
Recall, Halimah yesterdsay shared some photos from her Fibroid removal process and then called out some Nollywood colleagues. She wrote:

200 students of Covenant University, Ota, Ogun state have been suspended for not attending the schools’ Easter “Youth Alive” programme. The Punch Reports.
Parents and students have expressed their displeasure describing the decision as unjust. They claim the rules of their admission never stated that it was compulsory for them to attend the programmed organized by the institution.
A 400-level of the institution who spoke on the matter, said,
“We were going for the services in the morning and night and people were getting tired of it because we were also preparing for exams. So, the Vice-Chancellor got angry and ordered that those who missed the services be sanctioned.
“Some were suspended for four weeks and those who had missed eight services for the four days got a year.”
Another 300-level student, said, “The mood in school is really tense. Though students are not protesting but they are angry because you are preparing for an exam you’re not sure you will sit for, until the paper starts.
“They stopped me from sitting for a paper last week because I did not go for a service and I don’t know if I will be allowed in today either.”
A concerned parent who registered her displeasure said the punishment especially for final year students was not commiserate with the offences committed.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has finally spoken since the video of him getting snubbed by the Oba of Lagos went viral today.
The foremost traditional ruler in Yorubaland said he was not perturbed by Akiolu’s action. He said he is committed to ensuring unity among traditional rulers in the land.
Oba Ogunwusi spoke to PUNCH through the Director Media and Public Affairs of Ooni’s Palace on Wednesday.
The monarch said, “nobody should castigate anybody” for doing what he did because of the position he holds and because of his age… Ooni would not stop according his colleagues and every category of people the respect they deserve.
“The Ooni of Ife is not ready to make any official statement over what happened between him and Oba of Lagos. He still holds Oba Akiolu in high esteem and what happened yesterday will not stop the Ooni from holding him in high esteem.”
Ophelia Vanity has totally succeeded in making herself look like a barbie doll.. She has been getting regular Boto and Lip fillers, and of course spends up to 3 hours a day to apply make-up. Sun UK reports that she has spent more than £27,000 transforming herself into a human Barbie.
Now she wants rib removal surgery and breast implants to give her the plastic toy’s trademark hourglass figure. The 30-year-old from Los Angeles said:
“I’ve always been into Barbie. As a kid, I’d get a doll every Christmas or birthday. I had a dozen or so and would play with them all the time.
“I loved her aesthetic, and as I got older, I decided I wanted to emulate her. She’s such an iconic character.”
A far cry from her current appearance, Ophelia spent her teens dressing as a goth – wearing black clothing and heavy make-up.
“Even when I had black hair, people would say I looked doll-like,” said Ophelia, who funds her beauty habit with a string of odd jobs, including PA and modelling work.
“I think it’s my eyes, which are naturally large. But I wanted a change, so decided to go fully blonde. Now, I have my hair bleached every two months.”
Ophelia estimates she’s spent around £27,670 on her transformation – and she doesn’t plan to stop any time soon.
“I have a full list of surgeries I’d like done, although I don’t have anything lined up at the moment,” she said.
“I’d love breast and bum implants, but I need to save money and make sure I find the right doctor.
“I’d also love either four or six ribs removed, like Pixie Foxx, a model who had the surgery a little while ago.
“I wouldn’t go quite as extreme as her, but aesthetically, she’s an inspiration.”
Ophelia can spend up to three hours a day painstakingly applying makeup, using clever tricks to alter the shape of her face.
Though her eyes are naturally large, she wears contact lenses to enhance them, boosting the size of her iris from 13.5cm to 16.2cm.
“I don’t go full Barbie every day. If I’m just popping to the shops, I won’t wear any makeup,” Ophelia, who also wears a 22” waist corset to give her Barbie’s iconic hourglass figure, explained.
“But when I’m fully dressed up, which I do if I’m going to events or parties, I do get stopped and recognised on the streets of Hollywood.
“People are usually really positive, and want to talk to me or take pictures.
“If I’m fully dressing up, I’ll pick a Barbie-like outfit, too. Pink is my favourite colour. My whole wardrobe is basically pink dresses and heels.”
With the support of her friends and family, Ophelia, who is single, set up an Instagram account, showing off her look to the world – resulting in her building up 36,000 followers.
But while most love her look, she has sadly fallen victim to the odd cruel comment.
“There is a lot of cyberbullying out there,” she explained.
“I’ve been called ugly or had people say I’m delusional for wanting to look like Barbie.
“I’m not hurting anyone, though. I know I shouldn’t put too much into these people hiding behind a screen, but I’m still human so it does hurt.
“I always ignore them. I know they just want a rise. If they really hated me, they’d look away.”
Prof Babalola Borishade, 71, former Nigerian minister of Education is dead. He died in London on Wednesday after a brief illness.
He was initially rushed to Reddington Hospital in Lagos, last week from where he was taken to London. The cause of death was lung and heart –related.
Borishade was born in Usi- Ekiti on March 7, 1946 into the Ebi Ilotin family.
He served as a minister for four times, between 1999-2011. The electrical engineer was also a teacher and a political strategist.
Between February 2001 and May 2003, he served as the Minister of Education.
In recognition of his contributions to Education in Nigeria, Africa and the World at large, Borishade was elected the Vice- Chairman of the E9 Group of the United Nations, President of the UNESCO International Conference on Education, as well as Chairman Education for All (EFA) Forum of African Ministers of Education.
In 2004, Borishade was appointed as Minister of State, Power and Steel.
He initiated the ‘Gas to Power Project (G2P), a World Bank sponsored project designed to ensure sustained gas development and availability for power production to meet Nigerian electricity demands.
Between July 2005 and November 2006, Borishade was Minister of Aviation, during which a Civil Aviation Bill was passed to replace the 1964 Act and the direct flight between Nigeria and the United States of America was restored.
His initiation of various reforms and development in the aviation sector resulted in Nigeria scoring 93 per cent in the ICAO Universal Audit which made Nigeria a benchmark to African Aviation Industry.

It was at Quest FM his friends came to pick him with a white G-Wagon, I don’t even know the owner of the G-Wagon. So he was in his friend’s G-Wagon from the radio station to the event venue so it wasn’t an issue at all’.’
He was also asked about the issue of performance hierarchy that we learnt got Ice Prince angry because he performed before Lil Kesh and he said, ‘now let me shock you, my artiste ‘Base One’ even performed after Lil kesh, so there was no superiority or hierarchy involved, I just wanted it to be a random event flow.
The event even had two of my waiters at Quilox that sings I got them to perform at the show and we’ll still do 3 more of the event before the year runs out’.
He also commented on the issue of both artiste leaving delta State airport in different lounges because of the beef, ‘when we were coming back to Lagos, It was Ice Prince that got to be at the VIP lounge, myself, Davido, Lil Kesh and others where outside in a shed with just a standing fan. really it’s all one family everything is resolved now.
The only thing that got Davido upset is the fact that he felt Ice Prince was being disrespectful to me not even to him because even Davido didn’t complain about any of the logistics issue it was Ice Prince that complained a little that’s all’.

Lai Mohammed has said President Muhammadu Buhari will now work from his resident at the President Villa in Abuja.
Speaking to the State House correspondents at the end of the federal executive council (FEC), Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed said stated that the president needs some rest and has asked that all the files on his desk be brough to him at his official residence for treatment.
The president has not been making public appearances since he returned to the country after a 49-day medical vacation in the UK.
“We just concluded the federal executive council meeting, I’m sure you noticed that the president was not there. He was not there because he asked that he be allowed to rest and asked the VP to preside,” Mohammed said.
“And he will be working from home. He has asked all his files to be taken to him in the house. He will be working from home today.”
Olalekan Adetayo, state house correspondent of PUNCH, had written a report on Buhari’s ill-health, sparking a negative reaction from the president’s security team.
Bashir Abubakar, Buhari’s chief security officer (CSO) ordered the expulsion of Adetayo from the villa on Monday.
He was later recalled, following the intervention of Lawal Daura, director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Meet Mariam Nabatanzi Babirye, the 37-year-old mother who has already given Birth to 38 children.
Mariam lives in Kabimbiri Village, Mukono District in Uganda and the villagers have already given her a nickname, Nalongo Muzaala Bana, which means “the twin mother who produces quadruplets.”
In what must be some sort of record, Mariam has six sets of twins, four sets of triplets, three sets of quadruplets and two single births.
In a recent interview with a Ugandan daily, she said:
“My father gave birth to 45 children with different women and [they] all came in quintuplets, quadruplets, twins and triplets.”
Mariam says her father had 45 children, many of whom came in quintuplets, quadruplets and twins.
Dr Charles Kiggundu, a gynecologist at Mulago Hospital confirms that Mariam may have taken after her father, as her case may be genetic.
He said: “Her case is genetic predisposition to hyper-ovulate (releasing multiple eggs in one cycle), which significantly increases the chance of having multiples.”
Mariam said she was married off at an early age and she gave birth for the first time at the age of 13 to twins.
She said she sought medical advice several times in a bid to stop having children but doctors advised her that since she produces so many eggs, it would be dangerous to her health.
However, Dr Kiggundu said Mariam was not well advised, because doctors could easily have performed tubal ligation as a permanent method of contraception.
Moreover, Mariam has a non-supportive husband who is rarely there for her and her children. Her eldest son, Charles Musisi, 23, confirmed: “Our siblings do not know what father looks like. I last saw him when I was 13 years old and only briefly at night because he rushed off again.”
As a parting shot, Mariam advised parents to never sell their children off to early marriage and men to look after their wives and children
Nollywood Actress, Halima Abubakar revealed she was flown to India for a Fibroid Removal Surgery, which went successfully.
The Kogi State-born actress, thanked her fans and those who supported her during the period of her surgery, and she of course slammed “some of her colleagues” who didn’t bother to react out to her during the period.

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has declared the state is now part of Biafra. Dailypost Reports.
Speaking to newsmen, during the bail hearing of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, at the Federal High Court that sat in Abuja on Tuesday.
“Ekiti State is now part of Biafra,” he declared.
This is the first time Fayose is openly showing support for the movement, which is agitating for a breakaway of the South-East from the Nigeria.
Kanu has been granted bail on health grounds .
The IPOB leader is also expected to provide three sureties one of whom must be a serving Senator, a Jewish religious leader and highly respected person, who own land anywhere in Abuja.
The bail bond has been set at N100million for each surety.
Kanu was also ordered never to grant any interviews to the press, pending the outcome of his trial. He will not be seen in a gathering of more than 10 people.
Justice Binta Nyako made it clear that Kanu’s bail will be revoked, if any of the orders are flouted.
However, the other accused persons were denied bail. According to Justice Nyako, treasonable felony – the charges against them is a serious offence against the state.

1. You follow too many wedding pages
The things we see has a way of affecting our reasoning. You spend most of your time on Bella Naija and other wedding pages drooling over wedding dresses and creating scenes in your head.

5. You believe getting married will complete you
To you, your utmost accomplishment and satisfaction will come when you settle down. You imagine that life will suddenly become rosy once you say "I Do"

There’s currently a storm brewing up on social media after a clip which shows the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu seemingly disrespecting the Ooni of Ife emerged online.
From the clip shared by TV360, the ooni arrived at an unnamed event which was headlines by the Oba of Lagos. When the revered monarch offered the Lagos king a hand in greeting, he was snubbed. The disconcerting moment was captured on camera.
A Twitter user, @Rosanwo tweeted: “In the days of our fore fathers, this could have instigated a civil war, capture the Oba of Lagos & enslave his people,”
Another user & writer, Lola Shoneyin also lent her voice: “Can’t imagine what the Ooni of Ife could have done to deserve that. The Oba of Lagos will not come away from this smelling of roses.”
