Instagram user slams TBoss for saying she would slap someone as hefty as Kemen
Few days ago, TBoss revealed that Kemen has been making efforts to reach out to her since the show ended, but she has intentionally ignored him because she claims she is still angry with the way he has handled his interviews since his disqualification.
Excerpts from the interview:
On Kemen:
“I considered Kemen a friend. He was my go-to guy. He was my buddy, my muscle. He encouraged me. He motivated me. So for what happened to have happened considering all the people that look up to me, it was sad. I was angry. I was humiliated and I did feel violated but I don’t play the victim card. I honestly think that the decision that Big Brother took was the only decision that could have been taken. And everything that Kemen has to say about that, na him get him mouth, e fit use am talk wetin him wan talk but he knows and we know.”
On her relationship with Kemen since the show ended:
“I have seen him a few times but I really don’t want to talk to him because honestly the day you (Ebuka) came into the house with Karen, I was thinking what would happen if I see Kemen because I thought there would be a party after then. I just wanted to slap him. I think I even said that but then I came out and I said you know what everyone can make mistake because I am an attractive person but then, I come out and I hear the interviews he has given, today he makes an apology and then tomorrow he comes out to say TBoss knows what happened and that if there was no N25 million involved, hopefully she would tell the truth. What truth are you talking about? You are contradicting yourself. And then you are calling me? He has called me like over 15-20 times but I don’t want to speak to him. I am not ready because if I talk, I would say the wrong things. I want to calm down”.
Now, an Instagram user, @johnnyjamjam is calling her out, after she was quoted to have said she wants to slap Kemen. He wrote on Instagram:
“Wait, you want to slap Kemen??? Not even me a fellow dude would be stupid to raise my hand on that guy… Well ladies and gentlemen, what you just heard from this idiot’s mouth is the reason some women get battered. This of course shows that all reports concerning her marriage crisis is true.
Mercy Aigbe has been in the news for the past week after LIB broke the news that her marriage has crashed including pictures that showed the actress was indeed a victim of domestic violence.

Driver absconds with Lagos school bus…You won’t believe what he did next
A 32-year-old man, Eric Effiong, has been arrested by operatives of the State Intelligence Bureau, SIB, Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly absconding with a school bus belonging to Peak Lane International School, Oremeji, Akute, a suburb of Lagos.
According to Vanguard, Effiong, a father of two, before he absconded with the school bus worth over N3.6 million, had worked with them for six years.
According to a police source at the command headquarters, the suspect was arrested following a petition to the Commissioner of Police, CP Fatai Owoseni, by the proprietress of the school.
The source said:
“On May 27, the proprietress of Peak Lane International School, Oremiji Close, Oremiji Estate, Alagbole Akute, reported that on March 7, a driver with the school, Eric Effiong, absconded with one of the buses with number plates SMK 123 EM.”
The suspect, who relocated from his known address and switched off his phone, was finally arrested by SIB operatives, who tracked him down in Calabar, Cross River State.
Before his arrest, Effiong had already changed the number plate of the bus, re-branded it with Cross Lines Transportation Company colours and was operating Calabar-Uyo routes.
The Commissioner of Police has directed that he be charged to court for prosecution.
Speaking to Vanguard, Effiong said: “I was arrested for stealing a school bus. I was going to drop a passenger when they came down from a taxi and told me I was under arrest. I really feel bad that this thing happened to me. I just pray my boss would forgive me.
“While on official duty earlier this year, I hit a child of about one year and broke his leg. I spent over N200,000 to treat the baby.
“When I ran out of cash I began to sell my items to raise money. In the cause of that, my rent expired and my salary was N54,000. Because the school doesn’t give loan, I became frustrated. I did not know what to do and decided to abscond with the bus.
“When I got home with the bus, my parents asked how I came about it. I did not tell them anything.
“The bus was already white. I only branded it with Cross Lines Transportation Company because of the police on the road. It is safer operating under a brand name because it shields one from unnecessary arrests and harassments by security agents.
“I did that without the knowledge of the company. Since I was not operating in their park, it was difficult for them to suspect me. Apart from that, I only used it for one week because the front tyres were not good.
“It is not true that I switched off my phone. Only one of my colleagues called me the first day this thing happened. He asked me where I was. We did not discuss anything.”

We have received reports that a 23-year-old final year student of Public Administration at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Mololuwa Yewande Baruwa, has passed on.
The Former Miss Charismatic Nigeria 2013 and top model died in the late hours of Friday April 29th after suffering a brief illness.

Laspotech Strike: ASUP Secretary releases statement, says strike is still ongoing
Contrary to Reports going rounds that Laspotech Chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has called off it’s strike, there are new indications that the report is false, and the strike is still ongoing.
Find Below a statement made available to us by Uthman Olayinka, the ASUP Secretary, Laspotech Chapter.
Dear Congress Men and Women, the Union’s attention has been drawn to a deceitful and mischievous release making rounds and credited to the Management on the outcome of a meeting that was held at Alausa on Wednesday, 26th April, 2017.
The Union wish to unequivocally state that:
1. Throughout the 7 hours meeting, the Unions (ASUP, NASU & SSANIP) were never directed to summon Congresses to call off the ongoing strike. There was a suggestion that the Unions should inform their Congresses about the new ‘development,’ and the Unions equally suggested that the Rector should rather call a town hall meeting to address all staff on the ‘black market’ proposition of Permanent Secretaries (OSAE and ESTAB). Both the Unions and the Rector couldn’t agree on anything.
2. Your Union was reliably informed that the Rector had lobbied the Permanent Secretaries to support his idea of short changing our members, by declaring that 81 Months of the arrears should be jettisoned, while the Unions be forced to sign for only Six (6) Months. Of course, this is not new to us, the Rector started the plots long before now, you will all recall our last town hall meeting where this anti-people’s idea was mooted.
3. The Union totally kick against the imposition of obnoxious and ‘back door’ policy of a Ministry on our Institution. Hence, the reliance on the policy of the Ministry that Government cannot pay more than a maximum of six (6) months arrears is alien to us, and is NOT equally known to any Tertiary Institutions (LASU, AOCOED and MOCPED) in the state.
4. The Union strongly stand on the mandate of the Congress and have refused to be coerced by the Management into agreement that is not only selfish, inhuman but also contrary to the mandate of the Congress.
5. The Union also condemn in its totality the massive militarisation of the campuses, and proliferation of unlicensed arms and ammunition by the Management to intimidate and harass members of the Unions and generality of staff.
6. Kindly know that, your Union is doing everything to ensure that you are not short-changed and peace is restored to the campus.
7. Thank you for your unalloyed supports.

Domestic Violence: Man kills 3-month pregnant wife, an RCCG choir mistress in Lagos .
Punch is reporting that a Lagos teacher has killed his 3-month pregnant wife, who was said to be a choir mistress of RCCG.

Mrs. Titilayo Shodipo, who was allegedly killed by her husband, was three months pregnant, neighbours have said.
PUNCH Metro learnt that after the police locked up the house of the couple shortly after the incident on Monday, their four children were left stranded.
They reportedly slept in the open air.
Our correspondent had reported that Titilayo and her husband, Omolaja, had been married for over seven years and had four children together.
It was reported that the relationship was fraught with disagreements, which often resulted in fights.
It was said that Titilayo, who was said to be a choir mistress at a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, however, refused to quit the marriage.
Residents stated that on Monday, there was another disagreement between the couple, during which her husband stabbed her with a sharp object.
Neighbours, who visited the scene, were said to have found her remains and alerted policemen from the Owutu division, who removed the corpse.
PUNCH Metro gathered on Tuesday that Titilayo, who came from the Republic of Benin, was pregnant with another baby when she was killed.
A resident said, “She was three months pregnant at the time of the incident. Her mother, who kept lamenting the incident, also confirmed it when she came to the scene. The unfortunate part of the story was that after the police removed the corpse and locked up their house, their four children had nowhere to go. They slept outside in the open. The eldest of them is just five-year-old; others are four, three and two years. ”
The resident, who did not want to be identified, asked the Lagos State Government to take charge of the children.
Our correspondent was told that Omolaja, an indigene of Ogun State, had yet to be apprehended.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, said it was normal for the police to cordon off crime scenes, adding that it was unfortunate that the children were affected.
He promised to brief our correspondent on the update of the case after speaking with the Owutu Divisional Police Officer.
He had yet to do so as of the time of filing this report.

How this boy got badly burnt after neighbour spilled fuel on him in Abuja
A boy identified as Michael has survived an horrific burn after his neighbor spilled fuel on him. He is currently hospitalized at the Burns Unit National Hospital, Abuja.
According to Facebook user Dooshima Dennis:
A neighbour was fuelling her generator set and in the process fuel spilt on him. Being a little boy that he is (ignorant), he never knew the gravity of what’s about to happen to him when he got home and his mum asked him to bring the candle from the sitting room.
Little did she know that his cloth had sprinkles of fuel on it. That’s how disaster happened and his cloth caught fire.
But thank God he’s alive, we can all find a reason to celebrate the love and joy we share.
Micheal suffered burns on his face, chest, arms and hands. Thank God his surgery was a success and most importantly he’s a survivor. I’m so so filled with joy that the surgery (plastic) performed on him was successful and he’s recovering fast.
It was emotional for me today on seeing him but I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness within me and its very comforting for my team and I.
I was even happier when he spoke with me (butterflies in my belly) really excited I spent my birthday with him last month, you can see the photo of him up and his face is clearer now.

Great morning to you all, of recent, have been suspecting my wife. She suddenly asked me for over 2million to pay rent for a new place to continue her biz, in which I declined for good reasons, because the place I had set up for her is just a year old and I spent a lot on another mans property, yet no profit has even come out of the biz to even say it services part of the family’s responsibility.

One night, she said she’ll need my psychological support on the loan she wants to take, I replied that I cannot offer psych support on what I disagree upon, then she said I dont want to help her at all, that how much did I even spend for the first business, that is it up to 2 million, in which I spent more than. At that moment, I knew the wife I married was an ungrateful one, I just told her point blank that she should go for the loan and loan more to fix the place and buy everything she needs, then after she repays the loan, I’ll blv shes a true business man and that I’ll financially support anything she decides to do thereafter. She said well, I am scared of the loan, but she’ll by whatever means get the money, I replied saying, whatever means u plan on getting it, make sure its clean.

Child rapist hires 10 lawyers to defend him in court after he raped a 6-months old baby
Nigerians are furious after the news of a baby who was raped at 6 months hit social media.
The victim, identified as Khadija Bashir was raped at 6 months old by an unnamed accuser who has apparently employed the services of 10 lawyers to defend him in court.
Khadija has undergone many corrective surgeries, and now, she’s 8 months old, and her family faces the risk of not getting justice for the child, after the “rapist” hired 10 lawyers to defend him in court.
Khadija Bashir was raped at 6 mnts old. She had surgeries cos of injuries.

“My ambition is to become a billionaire and I am consciously working towards that. That is why I titled my last EP, Billionaire Ambitions. I have my eyes set on being a music mogul so that I can empower other young artistes out there. Even now, I try to do that as I regularly give out cash on my social media platforms because I love helping people.”
Maintaining that he doesn’t feel threatened by top rappers, Olamide and Phyno, Yung6ix said,
“I have a very good relationship with Olamide and Phyno and I don’t feel threatened by any of them. I believe that the sky is wide enough for every bird to fly and I am thankful that I have my own market and fans who love me. My music is being recognised globally and my unique Nigerian style of music has made me one of the biggest hip hop brands in the industry today. Even though there is a bit of western influence in my songs but it’s also obvious that I’m a Nigerian and I always stay true to my roots.”
Speaking about how he makes music, he said,
“I make music mentally. I don’t write songs as I find that to be stressful. I prefer to freestyle and from that I get to develop the song and make it better after some takes. True music comes from the soul and I try to stay as pure as possible.”
“President Buhari healthy enough to run for second term” — Rotimi Amaechi
Former Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi has said President Buhari is healthy enough to run for a second term in office, come 2019.
He made this declaration while responding to questions in a recent interview with Channels TV.
“If you look at the president since he came to the country, you will see there is a huge improvement. He’s regaining his weight.
This is a 74-year old man, he is no longer a 58 years old man. He is not 50. He is not a young man. I will advise that he should. The president is fit enough to govern and if he makes the decision to run again, if he does, I don’t think there is anything wrong in supporting him”he said

We’ve received photos of a woman begging on the streets in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state.
The woman and her 3 triplets were spotted sitting close to the fly-over at Rumuola in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state -with sympathizers who surrounded them giving cash to the mother.
Many have called on the State government to quickly come to the woman’s aid and not to let the poor kids suffer on the street.

Uriel Oputa has been named the Imo state carnival ambassador by the governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha in a reception held for her in Owerri.
Recall, she released a video some days back where she begged the government of Imo state to host her like her fellow housemates have been hosted.

33-year-old married woman dies during abortion, after boyfriend impregnated her
Vanguard reports that a 33-year-old woman, identified as Sukurat Adedoyin reportedly died following complications during abortion.
The report claims that the mother-of-8 was impregnated by her boyfriend, Identified as Alabi Kamilu, 30.. She then sought for help from an auxiliary nurse, Bello Abosede, 34, to terminate the pregnancy. But later died during the process.
The Investigating Police Officer, Asake Morowuntonu, said the victim was a married woman and had had eight children. Morowuntonu stated that Kamilu, the alleged boyfriend, forced the deceased to terminate the pregnancy.

Former Big Brother Naija 2017 housemate, Uriel has finally had her wish granted, the BBNaija star arrived Imo state for her “homecoming party” after she cried for one on Instagram many weeks back.
Immediately she arrived Imo State, he went to pay her respects to the Igwe of her hometown, Oguta.
She was accompanied by former housemates, Gifty, Cocoice, TTT and Kemen. A reception held in the evening and other events are lined up for the remainder of the weekend.

Mercy Aigbe has dominated social media with news her marital crisis following an alleged assault on her by her husband, Lanre Gentry.
Recall it all started when LIB broke the news about the actress marital crash, shared photos from the bruises on her body following the assault from her husband. Then, her husband, Lanre reacted to the reports, claiming he has never laid his hands on his actress wife.
This of course caused “olofofos” to share photos of when Mercy underwent a CT scan, thus proving the actress indeed suffered a fracture to the head.
