Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa has slammed cyber bullies who troll celebrities – She took to her IG page to share this saucy photos of hers while dishing a word, more like words to internet trolls.

She wrote:

“CELEBRITIES are not supernatural being.
It’s so #PATHETIC of anyone to think otherwise… WORDS!!!
Those five letters can make or break anyone.
D words u hear can either lift u up or bring u down.
D words u say to someone can either uplift them or destroy them.
I see & read a lot of postings on social media & some of these words cuts deep. Forget about d usually high school bullies. High tech bullies (cyber bullying) are deadly!!!! D way you people furiously attack other people’s picture,career,family,even worse,children is terrible. It’s even more disheartening when I see grownups doing this.
How does one criticized their fellow human being in such manner? Hiding behind d keyboard to make other people miserable will never add values to your life.I have noticed this predominantly among Nigerians/Africans.
Don’t get me started on Nigerian artist both actors & musicians.There is something called constructive criticism or unbiased opinion.I must commend Nigerian artists,they are actually doing their best with what they’ve got.In a country as frustrating as Nigeria, no light, no water, pricy fuel & bad road, currency inflation, they still managed to produce decent movies.
Nigeria’s movie industry has actually improved a great deal,most especially d Yoruba movie industry.We have great actors and procedures producing & acting in great movies.It’s sad to see that these folks still get attacked on social media.People felt it’s their calling to meddle in these people’s personal life. These folks are not made of stones.They have feelings just like u & I.
I don’t think I can sit back & let anyone attack me or my family like that.Only a coward sits behind a screen & a keyboard & bully other people.We need to do better, let your words encourage,lift & build others. Remember we’ll all give an account of every idle words.

“No Daddy! Stop Killing Mommy!” – 5 Year Old Pleads As Her Father Stabs Mother To Death In South Africa.

The five year-old daughter of murdered Priska Thandeka reportedly witnessed the gruesome murder of her mother by her father, new reports said.

Sebeshi Zacharia Mojela, a security guard allegedly stabbed his 29-year-old girlfriend to death in Commissioner Street, South Africa on February 27. He was charged with murder.

“She apparently kept begging him not to kill her mom and kept saying, ‘No daddy, stop killing mommy,” said family friend, Raele Labani.
The accused made his second court appearance in Kempton Park Magistrrate’s Court on Tuesday morning, March 14th. Mojela (28) was meant to apply for bail, which he did not.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS, Mojela chose to abandon his bail application.
“He will remain in custody and the case was postponed to May 4,” Mtshali said

Chalk and Mojela first met when she was a teenager, during the times she would visit her mom. According to Lambani, Mojela at the time lived with his mother where she worked as a domestic worker in Glen Marais.

By 2007/2008, the bright young Schalk had completed her tuition and was searching for a job.

“She entered a learnership programme with Edcon, during which she performed very well and was hired permanently as a debt collector. She was again recently promoted and was supposed to start working as a manager.”

Lambani also told EXPRESS that the pair were in fact legally married, although Schalk had not changed her surname.

“They married about six or seven years ago. I’m not actually sure if they had a wedding but her (Thandeka’s) mom told me they went to go sign at home affairs in Kempton.”

According to Lambani, Mojela completed a security course after matric and has worked as a security guard since. She says she is still shocked at what happened, as he was not a violent or disrespectful person.

“I really don’t understand what happened. Maybe they had some sort of problem but if they did, she never mentioned anything to us,” she says of the always bubbly Schalk. Thandeka was forever smiling and kind, so we couldn’t tell if she was unhappy or not.”
The last time Lambani and her sister had spoken to Schalk was late Sunday afternoon, the day before she died.
“My sister and her had a normal conversation and she sounded just fine. She was even mentioning that she still owed my sister a lunch date.”

Schalk was buried on Sunday, March 4th, in her hometown Taung in North West. She took financial care of her mother, who is not permanently employed, as well as her grandparents. Their daughter is currently in the care of her grandmother.

He’d left them to go start another life and produce male heirs while she on her part put herself through school by doing manual labour.

Of recent, the Pregnant actress, on a movie set was attacked by thugs last Sunday in Ikorodu – it’s being reported that after the incident occurred, she was bleeding profusely.

Her movie director, Ijaduaze Azeez said;

“One of the thugs who attacked them on Sunday hits Kemi afolabi on Stomach and since then she has been bleeding seriously”

Report coming in from Maiduguri says Boko Haram terrorists have killed a young Nigerian army Lieutenant in an attack in Magumeri town in Magumeri LGA of Borno State on Wednesday evening, according to Saharareporters.

It was gathered that the militants ambushed Lieutenant AC Oguntoye and his colleagues on their way to Gubio from a shooting range competition in Monguno.

The officers were pinned down by terrorists in Magumeri where they razed down houses, including a police station in the town. The militants rode into the area in 10 utility vehicles, shooting and attacking military formations.

A press release from the Nigerian police stated that a police Sergeant Haliru Aliyu was also killed in the attack, while another sustained leg injury from gunshots. A spokesperson to the Nigerian army later said the insurgents who were being shielded by members of the Magumeri community have been subdued.

Nigerian Army Detains 6 Soldiers Over Brutalized Ikorodu Lady, Releases Statement.

The Nigerian Army has reacted to the reports of a lady, Ruth Orji, being attacked by soldiers attached to 174 Battalion, Ikorodu, around 8:30pm on Sunday.

The woman was attacked and severely injured by soldiers in Ikorodu, Lagos State, reportedly because she challenged a soldier who slapped her brother for no reason. Ruth sued the Nigerian Army and her attackers, among other things, demanded N250m as damages.

ALLEGED CASE OF BRUTALLIZATION BY SOLDIERS
1. The attention of Headquarters 81 Division Nigerian Army has been drawn to the social media and Newspapers online reports on “Alleged brutalization of a female by soldiers”. The incident occurred in Odoguyan, Ikorodu area of Lagos state involving soldiers of 174 Battalion on Sunday 12 March 2017
2. The alleged incident is highly regrettable, even as the Division under the Nigerian Army has zero tolerance for inhuman treatment. Discipline remains the bedrock of the Nigerian Military Profession. It is quite disheartening when such incidences occur even though isolated will not be treated with any laxity.
Consequently, a Board of Inquiry has been constituted by the Commander 9 Brigade, Brigadier General Elias Attu to investigate the circumstances that led to the incident, determine the level of the soldiers involvement, submit its findings and recommend appropriate disciplinary measures which will be communicated.
The female has been taken to hospital where she is responding to treatment while 6 soldiers are being detained in regards to the incident.
Gentlemen of the press, may I thank you for your timely information in bringing such incidences to fore. The Division remains committed to its tasks as part of the constitutional mandate of the Nigerian Army.

“My “Facebook Husband” Is Jealous, Insecure” – Woman Tells Court.

A 30-year-old housewife, Rosemary Okeke, who met her husband on Facebook, on Wednesday pleaded with an Agege Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve the about 17-month-old marriage to her “jealous” husband.

The woman, who had approached the court seeking the dissolution of the union, said her husband, Cletus, had turned her into a punching bag.

Rosemary told the court that she met her husband through the social media platform — ‘Facebook’ while he was in South Africa and dated for few months before they had their traditional marriage.

She said before her husband paid her dowry, he was so calm but after they got married, he became inquisitive and jealous.

She said,

“My husband does not trust me, always wanting to know who l am talking with on the phone or my whereabouts.

“He keeps telling me that he is an Anambra man who does not take nonsense and that he has paid my dowry, therefore, he has rights over me.”

She also alleged that the respondent (the husband) stopped her from doing business because of jealous nature and yet failed to care for her and their one-year-old child.

Rosemary, who said the man had turned her into a punching bag, described him as a violent man who feels insecure. According to her, she was forced to move out of her matrimonial home when the beating was becoming unbearable.

She said,

“There was a day he beat me following a misunderstanding, l fainted and was rushed to the hospital.

“I want the court to dissolve the marriage and for the respondent to be responsible for the child’s upkeep.”

The respondent, a resident of No. 1 Barachel Estate, Wilinsco, Iju-Ishaga, a Lagos suburb, however, denied the allegations of constantly beating his wife and failing to take care of his family.

Cletus, a businessman who runs a bar, alleged that his wife is hot-tempered, claiming that whenever her phone rang in his presence, she would refuse to pick it.

The President of the court, Mr Phillips Williams, adjourned the case to March 30 for possible reconciliation.

Kogi State Government Destroys House Owned By Kidnapping Ring Leader.

The Kogi state government today ordered the destruction of a one-storey building which is owned by one Alhaji Tijanni Bakare, a self confessed kidnapping syndicate ringleader.

Bakare who was recently apprehended by the police, confessed to being the ring leader of a gang that has terrorized residents of Kogi state and travelers along the state roads.

The police raided the house after his confession and discovered IEDs, guns and ammunitions

The demolition of the house is backed by the state’s Anti Kidnapping, Robbery and Terrorism Law passed by the State House of Assembly and assented to by the Former state governor, Idris Wada.

Sir, my name is Miss Stephanie Otobo, and I wish to bring a formal complaint to you against one Apostle Johnson Suleman as follows:
That sometime in June 2015, Apostle Suleman Johnson and I started an amorous relationship in far away Canada. The relationship was nurtured by Apostle Suleman who inundated me with cash gifts and pleasure trips all over Europe.
In particular, I was invited by Apostle Suleman to join him for his crusade that was held in 2015 at Napoli, Italy, the full expenses for the trip was paid for by the gentleman. While in Napoli, Apostle Suleman would preach and do “miracle” in the day time and take the much needed rest in my bosom at night.
Napoli was our love nest for three (3) good days and after the crusade Apostle Suleman left Napoli and I also returned to Canada.
Shortly after the Napoli experience, I discovered that I was pregnant for Apostle Suleman. I called my lover to inform him of the pregnancy but Apostle Suleman was not particularly excited about the news rather he requested that I should come to Nigeria.
Based on Apostle Suleiman’s instruction I left Canada for Nigeria to meet Apostle Suleman. It is important to note that despite the amorous relationship, I saw Apostle Suleman like a father figure who takes care of me and to whom I was extremely obedient to.
I arrived Nigeria on the 25th of August, 2015 and clandestine arrangement was made for the two (2) of us to meet and consequently, I met Apostle Suleman at Definite Destiny Hotel, beside Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State. It was at the hotel that I was given a concoction to drink by Apostle Suleman who told me that the concoction was for my spiritual fortification. But in less than ten (10) minutes after drinking the concoction, I started vomiting blood and passing out blood. Apostle Suleman then gave me pills to stop the blood though the blood did not stop immediately but the pain subsided and the pregnancy was gone.
I was devastated by the development and Apostle Suleman gave me cash gifts in three (3) different currencies, to wit; Euro, Dollars and Naira to console and compensate me for the loss of the pregnancy. I could not come to terms with the facts that the man that claimed to love me and promised to marry me, could procure abortion for me without my consent which could have lead to my death.
Unfortunately Apostle Suleman did not stop at procuring abortion for me without my consent but also in a desperate bid to keep the amorous relationship between him and I a secret not known to his teeming followers, Apostle Suleman invented various devices to bully and threaten my life.
It is against this backdrop that I urge you to use your good offices to call for a thorough and dispassionate investigation into the above allegations. I plead with you, in the course of your investigation, to confirm the exchange of all our text messages from the networks, forensic analysis of all the nude pictures we both sent to ourselves (and whether they are, indeed, photo-shopped or authentic), our international passports to confirm the dates and times of our travels, investigation concerning the hotels we slept together both in and out of Nigeria and bank accounts to confirms the transfers of funds.

A Lagos State High Court, Igbosere, yesterday ordered the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) to compel Nigeria Bottling Company (NBC) Plc, manufacturers of Fanta and Sprite soft drinks, to include a written warning that the drinks should not be taken with Vitamin C.

Justice Adedayo Oyebanji gave the order while delivering judgment in a suit by a Lagos businessman, Dr. Emmanuel Fijabi Adebo, and his firm, Fijabi Adebo Holdings Ltd., against NBC and NAFDAC.

The court warned that taking Fanta and Sprite with Vitamin C is poisonous and awarded N2 million against NAFDAC for failing “to live up to expectations”.

It said NAFDAC failed Nigerians by certifying as satisfactory for human consumption, products which, in the United Kingdom (UK), failed sample test for human consumption and became poisonous in the presence of Ascorbic Acid, known as Vitamin C.’

The plaintiffs urged the court to declare the NBC was negligent and breached the duty of care owed its customers and consumers in the production of Fanta and Sprite with excessive “benzoic acid and sunset” additive.

Fijabi also urged the court to direct NAFDAC to conduct routine laboratory tests of all soft drinks and allied products of the company, to guarantee their safety.

Counsel to the plaintiffs, Mr. Abiodun Onidare, in an amended statement of claim, alleged that sometime in March 2007, Fijabi Adebo Holdings purchased large quantities of Coca-Cola, Fanta Orange, Sprite, Fanta Lemon, Fanta Pineapple and Soda Water from NBC for export to the UK for retail purpose.

“In consideration of the fact that this case was filed in 2008 and has been in court for nine years, N2 million is awarded against NAFDAC. Interest shall be paid on the cost awarded at the rate of 10 per cent per annum until liquidation of the said sum,” Justice Oyebanji said.

A Kenyan woman married to a disabled ‘small’ man shared her heartwarming story on Facebook – as she declares her love for him, and reveals how they both met and all.

She says:

“We were worshiping together at a church in 2003.We parted ways in 2004 and we would later meet in 2009.I didn’t see him in that boyfriend/girlfriend way but we were friends,normal friends.” she said.

“He would always tell me that I look like a woman who can make a good mom for his kids. Then one thing led to another and in 2010 he proposed.I was overwhelmed,by the love and what people would say. You see he is short and disabled. I wasn’t sure about whether to say yes or no so I asked him for more time. I prayed to God and I became sure it was him.

Many people talked so Ill of us.Some said I accepted him because I was desperate.

“It is all water under a bridge. We had a colorful wedding in 2011.I am so happy with my “short, dark and handsome. We are trying for kids but no pressure at all. I am actually happy. Very happy”

A Texas lawmaker, Rep. Jessica Farrar, has proposed a bill that would fine men $100 each time he masturbates.

The Lawmaker who lives in a state where it is extremely difficult for women to get abortions, is seeking to give men a dosage of the obstacles women deal with when it comes to their health care.

Though she knows her bill won’t go far, but the Democrat lawmaker also proposed a 24-hour waiting period if a guy wants a colonoscopy or a vasectomy, or if he’s in the market for some Viagra in her bill.

NYSC Member Deployed To Enugu, Dies In Fatal Accident. (Photos)

A corp member, who was deployed to Enugu State for her service year, reportedly died in a ghastly motor accident that occurred in 9th Mile, Enugu State.

The NYSC call-up number of the lady who has been identified as Okonkwo Ogochukwu is NYSC/OWP/2016/344612. According to APCNews, anyone who has useful information on how to contact her family or to recover her body, should go to the Police division in Enugu.

Bauchi Secondary School Where Students Conduct Marriages Among Themselves, Shut Down.

A secondary school in Bauchi State, Saádu Zungur Model Primary and Secondary School, has been shut down by the State government over the weekend, after illegal marriages between students was conducted by senior students organizedby in its premises.

The order to close down the school which came from the State’s deputy State Governor, Nuhu Gidado, who is also the State’s Commissioner for Education, also affected the primary section of the school.

It was also disclosed that the school will remain closed until a special committee is set up by the government, whose task will be to come up with detailed reports and recommendations on the issue.

The illegal marriage which was blamed on moral decadence in the society, in a press statement by Yakubu Adamu, Gidado’s Special Assistant on Communications.

It is alleged that the school’s teachers uncovered the affair, when their attention was drawn to shouts of excitements from students present at one of such ceremonies organized by an SS2 student to his alleged lover who is also a senior student.

The illegal marriage which took place despite the fact, that the male and female students have separate classrooms, was reported to the Principal of the school, Mallam Ahmed Zailani, who in turn reported it to the Ministry of Education with hopes that appropriate sanctions would be given to the erring students.

According to Nigerian Tribune, this is not the first time such marriage will be organized, as it was gathered that the male students reportedly paid a brideprice of N500 to their brides-to-be as the condition for the marriages.

It was also revealed that the classmates of the intending couples, contributed money for snacks which would be eaten during such ceremonies.
