Landlord Kills Physically Challenged Tenant For Not Flushing Toilet In Ghana.
A Ghanaian landlord has reportedly killed his physically-challenged tenant at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.
The landlord, who is identified simply as Mr Oppong was reported to have confronted the tenant, Nana Konadu simply because she failed to flush the household toilet after use.
According to Accra’s Rainbow radio, the landlord out of anger during the confrontation, hit Nana Konadu’s head with a metal object.
After the incident, Nana complained of pains and was admitted to a hospital where she died three days after the attack. Doctors confirmed she died of blunt force trauma.
Woman Asks For Divorce After Her Husband Connives With Doctor To Remove Her Womb Without Her Consent.
A woman has accused her husband of working in lieu with doctors to have her womb removed without her consent – Kafilat revealed this last Thursday while appealing to an Ibadan Customary Court to dissolve her five-year marriage to Musiliu.
According to her, her womb was removed while she was undergoing a caesarean section for the delivery of her first child and she had no idea about it until recently.
“My lord, Musiliu has systematically rendered me barren, because I can no longer conceive due to the removal of my womb during a caesarean surgery when I was trying to deliver my first child.
“While in the hospital, he should have informed any of my relatives that for me to have a safe delivery, my womb must be removed.
“It is not until recently that Musiliu wanted to be having sexual intercourse with me that he directed me to go for family planning.
“Then, medical personnel told me that I no longer have womb. Worst still, Musiliu is a drunkard and insensitive in all aspect of life.” Kafilat told the court.
Musiliu did not deny the allegations made by his wife but proceeded to plead with the court to help keep his marriage intact.
“My lord, it is true that her womb was removed but the doctor informed me that her womb had already been damaged and the only option was total removal for her safe delivery.The doctor also advised me not to let her know until over a year when she could bear the pain,” Musiliu said.
Musiliu’s plea was not granted as the marriage was dissolved by the court president, Mr Henric Agbaje.
Mr Agbaje also awarded custody of the couple’s four-year-old son to Kafilat and ordered Musiliu to make a monthly payment of N4,000 for their son’s upkeep in addition to taking responsibility for his education.
Ghanaian Journalist Arrested For Using Nude Photos To Blackmail Females For Sex.
A Ghanaian journalist, who has been identified as Emmanuel Orlando Matrevi from Cape Coast has been arrested for collecting nude pictures from women to blackmail them.
According to 3news, the 37-year old who was a volunteer with Coastal TV in Cape Coast has been threatening to publish nude pictures of ladies if they allegedly refuse him sex.
Speaking to Onua FM, the Central Regional Crime Officer, Chief Superintendent Baffour Appenteng said that the suspect pretends to be someone residing abroad, he then lures the girls through social media.
After establishing an intimate relationship with the ladies online, he would then request for nude pictures and arrange a meeting telling them he is in town.
During the meetings with the ladies, he allegedly asks for sex from them or threatens to make the nude pictures public with some of the ladies giving into his demand.
But after series of sexual encounter with one of his victims, Chief Supt. Appenteng said, the lady got fed up and reported his modus operandi to the police.
The accused who had been arrested and granted bail about a week ago was days later re-arrested after another girl reported his abominable activity to the police.
Emmanuel whose iPad with the nude pictures is in the possession of the police will be arraigned soon.
Thunderbolt Kills 6 People At Zimbabwean Funeral.
This past Sunday, a gruesome lightning struck and took the lives of six people, leaving many others injured with severe burns at a funeral, which held in Binga District of Zimbabwe.
According to Zim News, the people had taken shelter under a tree when a bolt of lightning struck, killing six people on the spot.
Speaking about the tragic incident, Chief Siachilaba from Binga said that they died while attending his late sister’s funeral at her homestead when the tragedy struck.
He said when it started raining, some of the people attending the funeral took shelter under the tree which was later struck by lightning.
South African Prophet Feeds His Church Members Engine Oil. (Photos)
A South African prophet, Theo Bongani Maseko of the Breath of Christ Ministries in Daveyton, has caused a stir yet again after he made his church members drink engine oil.
According to him, it tastes like honey and drinking the oil demonstrates “the power of God”.
Photographs of people drinking the fluid during church service were posted on his church’s Facebook page. They had a caption which read:
“The fullness of Christ is in this bottle. Healing and strange deliverance #Mark16:17 -18.”
In an interview with The Star on Monday, Maseko confirmed he had made his congregants drink the chemical. Asked why he had used this method, he said it was “to demonstrate the power of God”.
“When we pray over anything, its poison dies. So it can’t harm people. Nothing happened, no one has been to hospital,” he said.
On the contrary, he said, congregants who had drunk the engine cleaner had been “saved, healed and delivered”. He backed up his claims by citing Bible verses.
“Jesus spat on the ground and made mud. He took that mud and smeared it on the eyes of a blind man and, instantly, that blindness was healed.
Mark 16 v 17-18 says ‘in My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover’,” he said.
Maseko said no one needed to go to the hospital.
This practice has however been condemned by South Africa’s Commission for Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Religious, Cultural and Linguistic Communities. Its Chairperson, Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva, was livid at the latest incident.
She urged religious leaders to rally together and bring an end to what she described as “reckless” abuse of Christianity.
“A lot of people are going to die one of these days; we are fortunate that has not happened. A lot of people’s lives are at risk here,” she said.

President Buhari Reacts To Accidental Military Jet Strike On IDP Camp.
President Buhari has commiserated with those who lost their lives on Tuesday when a military plane mistakenly dropped a bomb inside the Rann IDP camp in Borno State.

Daliyah Marie Arana, from Gainesville, Georgia, became hooked on reading after she started recognising words at just 18 months old.
She now enjoys books written for university students and only needs help if she gets stuck on a ‘big’ word, her parents said.
Her mother Haleema told the Times of Gainesville newspaper that she and her husband Miguel started reading to Daliyah ‘right when she was born’.
Their daughter would also hear them reading stories to their two other children, she said.
‘We would literally read every day, about 15 to 20 minutes a day,’ Mrs Arana said. ‘By the time she was 18, 19 months, we realized she could recognize a lot of the words. And we kind of took it from there.’
By the time she turned three, Daliyah was reading books on her own.
The little girl signed up to the Georgia 1,000 Books B4 Kindergarten Program – but ticked all the books off her list before preschool. She hopes to have read 1,500 by the time she starts kindergarten this autumn.
Mr and Mrs Haleema wrote to Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden about their daughter’s achievement and Ms Hayden was so impressed she invited Daliyah for a tour last week and to serve as ‘Librarian for the Day’.

A new update claims that before the cold blooded death of her her husband, Chuks’ wife had voiced out to the world to let it know her husband was cheating and throwing it at her face.
The deceased had naked, provocative pictures of a lot of women, their faces all showing and apparently posing for those pictures and he sent them to his wife and was bold enough to defend his cheating by saying he was not getting satisfied at home, so he had to look outside and that the women had bigger booty than his wife.

Last year, a woman approached me that she wanted to share what she has been going through with her husband and I actually posted it. He was cheating and throwing it to her face and had pictures of the women too. I posted it here and if I remember vividly I told her that I will not post pictures of the women because Facebook will yank me off and a lot of you here also said no to it that I will get blocked.
Turns out she is the wife of the guy that was assassinated and I am sorry that has changed my perspective in the whole matter. I am not taking sides and I am sorry if I implied she may be guilty but with the story I had before and what I now have, that guy was lousy and anybody could have killed him, maybe her maybe not, let the court decide and let karma decide but I am morally obliged to post her own side of the story because she reached out to me and I was too busy to follow it up and even if you tag her guilty, She deserves to be heard and I am going to make sure of that.
Now the pictures are explicit and go against my professional ethics but let me explain, this guy I do not yet get what, why and how but he has naked pictures of a lot of women, their faces are all showing and obviously they posed for those pictures but he sent this to his wife and was bold enough to defend his cheating to the fact that he was not getting satisfied at home and that the women had bigger booty than his wife. Final Year Female Undergraduate Allegedly Runs Mad Being Beaten By Her Lover.
A final year Business Administration undergraduate of a privately owned University in Oghara (name withheld) in Delta State, on Sunday allegedly ran mad after she was reportedly pummeled by her lover boyfriend.
According to Leadership, her roommates (names withheld) screamed for help when the undergraduate who hails from Benin city, Edo State allegedly undressed herself immediately she stepped out of her boyfriend’s room few miles away from their hostels.
It was gathered that the suspected insane undergraduate allegedly took her phone out of bag and slammed it on the floor naked, brought out her clothes and set fire on them before the onlookers rescued her.
An eye witness, Joy Tobi said that her roommate had tried to calm her down when it started like a joke, unfortunately, she had gone too far with the unfolding suspected madness, calling “saviour, saviour, look at what you have done”.
She was said to have been held by some strongmen hired by the school authorities and was later taken away to the hospital where she is at present responding to treatment.

Nigerian US Army Veteran, Chuks Okebata was abducted and murdered when he came back to Nigeria to celebrate the Yuletide holidays with his family in Imo state..
New disheartening videos show the hell that the deceased army veteran was going through with his wife before he was killed.
The deceased, who is a native of Umuduruorie Umuomumu Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA, was in a serious marital war with his wife in the States before he died – the feud between the couple was bad to the extent that the wife didn’t mind sending the father of her sons to jail unless he left their home and two sons.
In some of the videos, you will see the two boys weeping uncontrollably when Chuks told them he was leaving so that he doesn’t end up in jail.
He returned home to Nigeria after being away in the US for so long and ended up dead just days into his visit to Nigeria. He was abducted and shot dead at exactly 5pm on the 12th of Jan 2017.
A sum of 2.5million naira has been placed as reward for anybody with any clue whatsoever that can lead to the arrest of his murderers.

Ex-Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke, To Appear Before Court In Lagos Today.
According to multiple reports, Chidinma Okeke, the former beauty queen for Anambra State, will be appearing in a Lagos Court this morning.
The news was apparently, broken by U.S-based Nigerian lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye. (see below)
The court she is to appear will not be disclosed yet for obvious reasons.
Her appearance is in relation to the arraignment of one of her blackmailers, the man she paid money into his account to avoid the release of the controversial sex video.
The man is being arraigned today and the DSS is the agency in charge of the case.

Police Arraign Housemaid For Stealing N700,000 With Broomstick.
The police have arraigned a 20-year-old housemaid, Loveth Emmanuel, before an Ebute-Meta Magistrate’s Court for allegedly stealing N700,000 from the safes of her boss, identified only as Rufus.
It was alleged that the suspect used a stick of broom to open four safes and stole the money at their residence on Sholanke Street in the Ebute-Meta area of Lagos State.
She was alleged to have attempted to flee when the boss alerted policemen from the Denton division, who arrested her.Rufus described the suspect as an ingrate, saying he treated her well and gave her the same privilege as his children.
He said Emmanuel, who was brought to his family by an agent, stole money meant for his children’s school fees and jumped into a fast moving vehicle in a bid to escape.
However, the 20-year-old claimed that her boss got her arrested because she wanted to sit for an examination, adding that it was when she was not given time for the exam that she decided to flee.
The Cross River State indigene said the theft allegation happened since July 2016, and she had been forgiven until she was arrested while going for the exam.
Emmanuel, who claimed to be an orphan, said she started staying with Rufus about a year ago, and she was not given any breathing space in the house.
She was, however, arraigned on two counts of stealing.
The defence counsel, Okoya Sholope, asked the court to grant the defendant bail in liberal terms, adding that the offence was bailable.
The magistrate, Mrs. M.A. Olajuwon, consequently granted her bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum, adding that the surety must be resident in Lagos with evidence of tax payment to the state.
The case was adjourned till January 25, 2017.

Teenager Rushed To Hospital After Circumcising Himself With A Machete.
A Zimbabwean teenager had to be rushed to a hospital after attempting to circumcise himself with a machete simply because his friends mocked his p*nis.
The unidentified teenager was taken to St Luke’s Mission Hospital in the country’s Lupane District, where he spent two days recovering from the botched procedure.
According to ‘My Zimbabwe‘, he had attempted the DIY circumcision using a machete after his friends told him he would not get a girlfriend because he still had his foreskin intact.
Luckily for the boy, staff at the clinic carried out the circumcision operation that the boy had attempted on himself successfully.

Eight men now control as much wealth as the world’s poorest 3.6 billion people, according to a new report from Oxfam International.
The men, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Carlos Slim, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Amancio Ortega, Larry Ellison and Michael Bloomberg, are collectively worth $426 billion, the anti-poverty group said on Sunday.
“Such dramatic inequality is trapping millions in poverty, fracturing our societies, and poisoning our politics,” said Paul O’Brien, Oxfam America’s Vice President for Policy and Campaigns.
The release of the group’s annual inequality report coincides with the World Economic Forum in Davos. The annual meeting in the Swiss mountain resort brings together political and financial leaders and some of the wealthiest people in the world.
The Oxfam report said that the richest 1% has owned more wealth than the rest of the planet since 2015. In the U.S., the richest 1% control 42% of the wealth.
The study draws from Forbes’ annual list of billionaires and Credit Suisse’s Global Wealth Databook.
It has been four years since the WEF identified rising economic inequality as a major threat to social stability. But Oxfam said the problem is just getting worse.
