Meet Harrison Chinedu, He is a Nigerian footballer, and he has reportedly broken the Guinness World Record after he cycled 103 kilometres (64 miles) with a football balanced on his head.
Chinedu who was spotted wearing the Super Eagles jersey, rode his bicycle with a ball on his head from the beach to the National stadium, Surulere, while fans, drivers and passers by, sang and cheered him on as he attempted the bizarre feat.
According to Chinedu, he had tried the feat in March this year but failed when he reached 30 miles, but after several rehearsals and training, he made up his mind to carry out the feat again.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has described social media as a nightmare to image makers because of its disinformation through fake and distorted news.
The minister who stated this on Monday in Lagos at the opening of the 4th Commonwealth Public Relations Congress, noted that image makers in both public and private sectors were victims of the trend.
He, therefore, charged PR practitioners to devise innovative ways to ensure a better, charged-way communication network between their employer and the people.
The event organised by the Management School, London and the Business Education Examinations Council, has the theme “Strategic Management of Reputation Risk in an Interdependent World.’’
“Today, anyone with access to a smart phone can put out any information, whether accurate or not, that could go viral in minutes.
“No fact-checking, no accuracy, no fairness, no rules. They just spread whatever information catches their fancy, and they have their own public that believes them.” he said.
The minister however said that the trend is global, affecting international and local affairs including the recent U.S. elections.
“To understand the seriousness of this, there is an on-going debate in the U.S. over the role that disinformation played in the recent presidential election.
“Some even accused the social networking site, Facebook, of helping to swing the election in favour of Mr. Donald Trump, through the fake and distorted news spread by websites belonging to those who call themselves Alt-Right, or Alternative Right.
“Of course Facebook has denied that. But then Facebook and Google have taken concrete action to check this by seeking to cut off the live wire to these fake news websites,” he said.
According to published reports, Google said it will prevent websites that misrepresent content from using its advertising network, while Facebook said its ban on deceptive and misleading content also applies to fake news.
The minister said, locally, the trend has also made the job of government image makers so daunting that it is denying them of sleep.
“Government image makers now sleep with one eye opened, that’s if we sleep at all, because while we are sleeping, the purveyors of distorted and fake news are busy cooking their stuff.
“I cannot count the number of times that I have been removed from the Information and Culture portfolio on the social media in the past year, or that ministers have swapped portfolios,’’ he said.
The minister seized the opportunity to refute the fake report that President Buhari gave $500 million to Hilary Clinton during the U.S. Electioneering Campaign.
“Even when the Presidency has denied this outrageous concoction, the so-called analysts and experts have continued to comment on it as if it is true,” he said.
Frank Darlington, the manager of Soccer Warriors Football Academy, Pen Cinema, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly sodomising three of his teenage players, in Agege, Punchng reports.
He was arrested last Thursday, after one of the victims reported him to the police. Darlington, 49, who hails from Imo State, allegedly took three footballers to his house on separate occasions after training sessions, and sodomised them.
Darlington’s wife and 3-year-old daughter, lived in Imo State, after the two got divorced in March 2016. The police said the suspect allegedly penetrated the victims’ anuses, and would be charged for sodomy. .
While confessing, Darlington said,
“It was in February 2015 that the rape started. I usually had sex with my boys just to play with them. It was romance. We had fun together. The last one I did was in July 2016, knowing that it could get me into trouble.
I slept with only three of my footballers. I have been coaching for about 12 years. The sex with the boys was not for any ritual. I only derived fun from it. I knew it was a crime and that was why I stopped this act since July. I pledged not to go back into this.”
One of the victims, Kehinde (pseudonym), told our correspondent that Darlington threatened him that he (Kenny) would die if he told anyone about the sodomy.
The 18-year-old said he was forced to tell his mother when Darlington made it a habit.
He said,
“He always had sex with me and with most of us. He started last year. The first time he approached me was after a training session. He said my performance was bad and I should meet him at home for a discussion.
When I went, he molested me. He did not use any protection. He did not give me any money, but he threatened that I would die if I told anyone. I cannot count how many times he had done this to me. I told my mother when I was tired of his abuse.”
Another victim revealed that a large number of footballers at the academy had withdrawn because “he always slept with 2 or 3 of us every week.”
Just like South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest did at Orlando Stadium recently, Nigerian rapper Phyno filled the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, Nigeria during his 2016 hometown concert on November 20.
Over 25,000 fans filled the arena to capacity to make the show become one the biggest ever music concerts in the country by an individual artiste.
Many concertgoers that bought tickets for N200 (regular) and N500 (VIP) couldn’t get in. Some had to scale over the fence to gain access into the venue, while others were stranded outside as the show went on from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Trouble began from the very beginning of the show when the country’s anthem was being recited to honour the presence of state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu, who also hails from Enugu.
Spectators however didn’t want the anthem and began throwing dangerous items, including plastic tiles, at entertainers like Yaw, Funny Bone and Humblesmith who were spotted at the time of the incident.
Comedians, Yaw and Funny Bone were injured, and it took the intervention of Phyno on stage before Humblesmith could perform with his band.
Also, while M.I Abaga was performing, bouncers beat up a fan and his associates had to fight back. Everyone on stage was attacked at that moment, leading to the damage of equipment, including speakers and light. The rapper had to run off the stage when it got out of hand.
‘It felt like everybody in Enugu left their houses for that concert,’ an eyewitness told Thenetng.
Overcrowding is one of the reasons stewards had a lot to handle at the concert.
Phyno however tried all he could to stop the uproar by taking charge as MC till the end of his show.
Moses Mushonga, 28, had walked up to the young lady in Mvurwi, Zimbabwe. Firstly he manhandled her, leaning into her bra and touching her breast.
This did not endear him to the 23-year-old, called Chipo, but to add insult to injury, he then tried to haggle with his only asset.
Mushonga told her he had just spent his last bit of money on buying two boiled eggs, which cost 0.25 Zimbabwe dollars, the equivalent of less than a penny or a cent. Sadly he had already eaten one too.
Insulted by his attitude, Chipo flew into a rage, hitting him with a beer bottle, and then punching him in the face, before knocking him out. When he came round, Mushonga was bleeding heavily from his head. He told local media: ‘She could have just said no.’
Chipo, who was not charged by police, said she simply felt he needed to be taught a lesson about respect.
Earlier this year the Weekend Post newspaper in the capital, Harare, reported that the economy was so bad that sex workers had reduced their prices to 0.8 Zimbabwe dollars – equivalent to half a loaf of bread. But they clearly draw the line at a boiled egg.
The beautiful daughter of Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, Ebuka, recently got married to her beau, Prince Chigozie. Her momma, Genevieve, shared a short video of the bride decked in traditional wear, on Instagram.
She captioned the clip:
“The baby of the house is no longer that”
Sources speculate the bride to be the younger sister of the actress, but for years now, we’ve only known Chimebuka to be the daughter if the actress, who she keeps away from social media outlets a lot, given that she keeps her daughter off the social media radar and doesn’t show off the rest of her family, we can safely say it’s her daughter who’s the bride.
The actress had her only daughter when she was still a teen and at the humble beginnings of her career.

A senior official from the president’s camp has revealed that Robert Mugabe who is the World’s oldest and one of the longest serving Heads of State, will not be contesting in the presidential election in 2018, after he was reportedly advised to drop out of the race by his medical doctors.
Although, it’s yet to be officially announced but the unidentified official while explaining the state of the president’s medical records was quoted on ZimNews saying:
‘The President’s medical records are classified and private, I cannot disclose anything, but he (Mugabe) has a clean bill of health at the moment. However he is not going to contest the coming elections, after being told by doctors that the campaigning alone will take a heavy toll on him. You will soon find out for yourselves, but the long and short of it is that he is already out of that race.’
Report also has it that the president, who has endured a cocktail of health woes, including eye cataract problems, reported prostate cancer and paining swollen feet, will embark on another round of medicals in Singapore, Hong Kong or Malaysia when he goes for his annual Christmas holiday with his family in December.

Popular Abuja prophet and Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, Brother Joshua Iginla, on Sunday gave additional N5 million to complete the N10 million promised to a Muslim acid victim, Jamila Yusuf, who was bathed with acid by her boyfriend.
Pastor Iginla had earlier presented N5million to Jamila and gave opportunity to those who might want to contribute to saving her life.
He however said that he had the whole money and would complete it if enough money was not raised from people to complete it.
He kept to his words. He has given her another N5mllion.
Pastor Iginla also processed Jamila’s Passport and Medical Visa as well as Passports and Visas for her brother and Dr. Eghosa who are accompanying her. The money he provided covers all her bills
A statement from the church reads:
In continuation of his philanthropic gesture, Bro. Joshua Iginla, the Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, Abuja, on Sunday, gave additional N5m to complete the N10m promised to acid victim, Jamila Yusuf, who was bathed with acid by her boyfriend.
Bro. Iginla announced his sponsorship of Jamila’s medical trip to India for a reconstruction surgery, including her brother and a Medical Doctor, Dr. Osamaojo Eghosa, who would accompany them.
“I am told by medical Doctors they might stay in India for up to three months. About N900,000 came in from outside apart from the N5m that I gave.
“So bring another 10,000 U.S. dollars and four bail of N500 (N1 million) to make it N10 million. I was told someone from Abuja here donated 4,300 Rupees to that,” Bro. Iginla said.
“So by this week, they are travelling to India and when they come back, we will update you again to see what has been done.
“They have gotten the Visa and her brother and Doctor Eghosa who will accompany her there.
The money in Naira, Dollars and Rupees bills was publicly handed over to Jemila at the Church.
Bro Joshua Iginla of Champions Royal Assembly, again, stressed that he did not know Jamila from anywhere but was only showing love to her.
He also emphasised that his gesture was not to convert Jamila from Islam to Christianity.
His words:
“I want to tell you that I don’t know our sister and I need to stress that the money I am giving her is not a bait to turn Jemila from Islam to Christian.
“That’s why we did not give her Bible and we are not stopping her from going back to Muslim when she comes back but we are saying women should be respected and protected.
“It is not about converting her but about who is my neighbour. My neighbour is the one who needs my help and who I can render help.
“This is just the little we can do to preach love to all human race whether Christian, Muslim, Hindu or any religion or tribe.”
Yesterday morning, Abubakar Duduwale, 43, began his mission to trek from Nigeria, starting in Kaduna, to the U.K. Abubakar, who hails from Yola, Adamawa State, said he wished to raise awareness on terrorism and its effect on lives and properties of the people directly affected.
“I mean to pass the message that terrorism is evil and must be stopped,” he said. He explained that his journey would lead him to Niger State from where he would move to Abuja and then to the U.K.
Duduwale is a veteran trekker who, last year, trekked from Yola to Abuja to drum support for Pres. Buhari. He said of his mission,
“I have trekked round the 19 northern states of Nigeria promulgating the gospel of peace and war against terrorism, insurgency, corruption, drug abuse as well as promoting unity. .
I started trekking in 2008 when I decided not to sleep in Adamawa State that particular day and I moved from my village to the border between Nigeria and Cameroon. My trekking is not for fun but for world peace. We must shun all negative tendencies.”

Apparently this happened in onica local government area, Ebonyi state on Sunday. Bishop Dr Sam Zuga turned COLD water to HOT water in front a crowd of “believers”.
The Igwe of the community and other people from the crowd “tasted” the water to confirm it was hot.
Looks like the media mogul is not having it with anyone this season, as he as been on a clap back spree this past few weeks, first off, it was about Nigerian lyrics, to his unpaid N100M debt and now, it’s back to another fan.
The Twitter user who wasn’t feeling the singer’s latest track, “Focus”, says the song is next to nothing than “trash”, as shown in a photo in his tweet.
The 18 year old lady says, though she and her 19 year old boyfriend have a very “open minded sex life”, and like to try new things, there’s just some she doesn’t like… like anal.
As shared by the teenager:
My boyfriend of 5 months and I have a great relationship and a very open minded sex life. If one of us wants to try anything at all, we clearly communicate it, try it, and then reflect on whether we liked it or not. He was really curious about anal and I was 80% sure I wouldn’t like it but I tried anyway because you never know until you try.
I was right in the assumption of me not liking it. Afterward I said I didn’t like it and he said that was okay and we didn’t have to do it again.
We didn’t do it again for about a week when he kept asking questions like “what if we just go slower? Can we do it again with more lube? Can we please do anal again we
didn’t go fast enough last time for me to really know.”
Personally I’m a people pleaser and hate saying no to people, especially people I’m close to. I agreed and so we did it again. I asked him a few times to slow down because it hurt but he didn’t because he said it doesn’t feel good if he doesn’t go fast. I asked if that could be the last time and he said it could be.
That repeated again and I hate telling him no so I tried to put my foot down and say it would be THE LAST TIME we did anal. I ended up crying because it hurt so bad and he stopped and said “okay were never doing this again”. I asked why and he said “because you cried”. I apologized for crying and he said it was fine but he just wanted to go to sleep. He wouldn’t cuddle with me like he usually does but I chalked it up to him being too tired.
About a week later he tried to convince me to do anal again and I finally said no. I explained that I didn’t like it and I was too lenient about it before but I really wanted to stop. Later on that day I tried to cuddle with him while we were watching tv and he basically mocked what I said to him earlier about why I didn’t want to do anal. I considered telling him he could just so he would stop ignoring me but I stood my ground.
Weeks went by without much issue besides him asking to do it again here and there, and me politely declining. Then there was a fight about it. He asked why I wouldn’t do anal “even though he does so much for me” (which I instantly thought back to when I just wanted to cuddle and he wouldn’t because he was mad I didn’t want a dick in my ass).
It ended up erupting into him telling me that I’m not a good girlfriend because I’m depriving him of this and if I keep doing it he might start turning to other places to get what he wants. He stormed off and I couldn’t help but feel like a disappointment. I cried and he came back and apologized about an hour later.
He stopped asking for about a month but he’s starting to ask again. I really really don’t want to do it but I also don’t want him to keep being mad at me for not wanting to. Should I do it? Should I keep standing my ground?
A 28-year-old man has reportedly committed suicide in Mushin, Lagos, on the eve of his wedding. Shakiru, popularly called Jarule, was found hanging from the ceiling of his 56, Oduduwa Street, Mushin home.
Relatives who spoke with The Nation yesterday, said that the father of two was being expected in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Saturday for the event. Shakiru was said to have sent a suicide message to his sister, Mariam, which reads: “I’m sorry. Forgive me.”
Mariam had reportedly insisted on his arriving early for the event on noticing his attitude of late. But when the message came in around 6:30pm, she did not read it immediately. When she did, she tried to reach some of his friends, but all to no avail. She then got their elder sister who lives near him to go and find out what was happening. His sister found his room locked from inside indicating that he was at home.
But when he did not respond to her knocks, she called Mariam, who asked her to look through the window from where she found his lifeless body dangling from the ceiling.
Mariam said:
“I called him several times to urge him to get to Osogbo on time but he told me he would arrive probably on Sunday or even Monday. I asked him what he meant by that when he knew the wedding was slated for Sunday. He quickly changed it and said he was on the way, that he would be there. I was expecting him till I got his message late at night. I called people close to his area but it didn’t go. Later I called my aunt to help me check him up. That was when she found out what happened. I had stopped calling him at a time because of his unresponsive attitude.”
The late Shakiru also left some notes in his jotter, bordering on love and his life trajectory. They included “I’m Done”, “If you are reading this, it’s too late.” He also wrote phrases such as “I love you” on the pictures of his two children.
Some relatives described his death as embarrassing and unfortunate. They said he was an introvert who hardly picked their calls. It was learnt that his wife is about eight months pregnant. He was said to have proposed an abortion which his doctor warned against because “it was too late.”
His niece, who didn’t mention her name, believes he committed suicide over financial difficulties. According to her, he became frustrated after the death of his mother three years ago.
“I don’t know what he has encountered in life that should warrant suicide. Since his mother died, he has been finding it difficult to cope with life because she pampered him a lot and he didn’t lack anything. She always supported him out of love for her children. He didn’t acquire any skill that could sustain him. After her death, he was dejected. Sometimes he would complain of not eating regularly, his job was not paying much and that he was getting tired of life.
“But I don’t understand his problem because even his children are not under his care. It is the family that has been catering for them. This wedding we ought to be doing now is not on him. All we required was of him to make himself available. We even sent money to him when he complained he didn’t have money. The wife’s family has been complaining that he was not doing anything on her.”
Another relative said he didn’t believe the late Shakiru committed suicide because of financial constraints. The deceased, he said, just received N36,000 from a thrift society the previous week.
The Nation learnt that the police are detaining four persons living with the late Shakiru.
While people are enjoying the amazing discounts on products, thanks to the Black Friday season, the young lady you see in these photos, took her shopping to the next level as she was caught stealing from a shopping mall.

Two-year-old Khadija, was kidnapped by an unknown woman in Kuje area of the Federal Capital Territory on Saturday. The trauma has forced her mother into premature labour.
The girl’s father, Mr. Umar Suleiman, informed Northern City News on the telephone on Sunday that the girl was kidnapped in their former neighbouhood in Kuje while he was away in Akure.
Suleiman had on Saturday announced the abduction of his daughter on his Facebook wall. Narrating what transpired on the fateful day, Suleiman said,
“Yesterday (Saturday), when I was going for a job in Ondo and took a flight to Akure, I left my wife and daughter at home.
“The mother (his wife) is pregnant and, at a point, she started feeling a discomfort. She
decided to visit the hospital while she kept our daughter, who is two years and seven months with our former neighbours where we lived for two years before relocating to the Low Cost Estate where we’ve only spent three months.
“On the mother’s return, the neighbours told her the girl had gone to buy ‘wara ’ (milk cake) in company with a neighbour’s son , a 10-year-old. The boy later returned to say a woman had snatched the girl from him.”
The father, who said he was talking to Punch correspondent from the police station where the incident was reported, said,
“Because of that discomfort, the mother went into labour. She was in shock and could not be delivered of the baby. This morning, (Sunday), they had to conduct a caesarean section on her because the baby’s heartbeat was not proper, they had to do the surgery.”
When contacted on Sunday, Punch reports the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Anjuguri Manzah, said he was not aware of the case

President-elect Donald J. Trump’s wife, Melania, and their 10-year-old son, Barron, will not immediately be moving into the White House after Mr. Trump takes office in January, out of concern for uprooting Barron in the middle of the school year, transition officials said on Sunday.
Ms. Trump and Barron will remain in New York for at least another six months, the officials said. Speaking to reporters on Sunday at his golf course in Bedminster, N.J., Mr. Trump said they would join him “very soon — after he’s finished with school.”
Mr. Trump said he would move to the White House. Still, with his family remaining at Trump Tower, the likelihood may increase that Mr. Trump will spend part of the week in New York.
Jason Miller, a spokesman for Mr. Trump, said, “No official statement has been released by the Trump family regarding transition timing, but like any parents, they are concerned about pulling their 10-year-old son out of school in the middle of the year.”
Mr. Miller urged that “the same privacy and security considerations given to previous first families with regard to minor children be extended to the Trumps as well.”
The New York Times previously reported that Ms. Trump was planning to move to the White House eventually but was concerned about disrupting her son’s routine.
The New York Post reported on Sunday that she and Barron would not join her husband immediately after the inauguration.
At least 21 people have been left dead and hundreds of others injured in four days of fighting between two rival tribes in the southern Libyan town of Sebha.
The clashes were between the Awled Suleiman tribe and the tribe of deposed leader Muammar Gaddafi, the Guedadfa tribe.
According to Libyan media and social networks, the violence was sparked after a monkey belonging to a member of one of the two tribes allegedly assaulted a schoolgirl whose family came from the rival tribe.
This version could not be confirmed from official sources.
Nasser al-Jehimi of the medical centre in Sebha said 21 people were killed and around 100 others injured in the clashes. The number of wounded victims on the part of the Guedadfa tribe is not known as they are being treated in another hospital.
Salah Badr, a member of the city council contacted by AFP pointed out that tensions between the two tribes have existed for years.
“A minor incident that happened set the whole city on fire,” he said, without further clarification. Several homes have been hit by rockets and mortar shells, witnesses said.
The Sebha Medical Center reiterated that all its staff assume neutrality with respect to the two rival camps while stressing that it is not responsible for the safety of the injured under its care.
Managing Director of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company, Olufunke Osibodu, has urged Nigerians not to expect any improvement in the power sector in the next five years.
Speaking at the 11th Annual Founder’s Day event of the American University of Nigeria in Yola, Saturday, Mrs. Osibodu said at least N250 billion is required annually to fix the country’s electricity sector.
According to a Vanguard report, she said:
“And we Nigerians need to understand that we cannot do it overnight, and in addition we have to pay for it.
We need to be ready as citizens also, to accept and live with the pain that we have to go
through, and allow time as our friends.
As Nigerians, often we are the ones that deceive our politicians. The politicians believe that the only way to go is to promise everything immediately possible. Promise that everything is possible today so that they can get elected. But when you see that it is not, so we want to give them time and use time as our friends. It is the same story for the power industry.
When I tell my friends, that forget any improvement for the next five years, they are scared, but that is the truth. We need minimum of five years to invest before we see results. But very often, because Nigerians are impatient, we start pushing our governments and they start reversing good things they have done in various ways. So we need to be more patient.”
Mrs. Osibodu’s statements came despite the claim earlier in the year by Babatunde Fashola, the minister of Power, Works, and Housing, that the country would attain 10,000 megawatts electricity generation by 2019.
