Awards or Not, I am Who I am, Says Rapper Olamide

Olamide_Live_In_Concert

YBNL boss and afro-hip-hop rapper, Olamide has aired his heartfelt opinion about his career and competition with his contemporaries in the music industry.

He also expressed his feeling regarding unnecessary sentiments attached to winning awards.

According to him, awards does not define him nor his music, so whether he gets any awards or not, it doesn’t matter to him as long as he makes good music and his fans are loving it.

“Dear fans, thanks for all the support over the years, you guys are so amazing,” he wrote. Everything the industry denied me of when I started, young, hungry, strong and passionate about music are coming my way now glory be to God.”

“The vultures in the industry tried to kill my shine saying I stole Dagrin style-we all love Dagrin but that was though one to overcome trust me, I’m at peace with myself. I’m happy living my dreams, bringing my brothers up, repping my hood, my heritage, my culture, everything I believe in everything I’m standing and living for.

“I don’t need to brag about the money and awards I have been getting, those that are not getting it yet are no less human. I am here to contribute the little I can to make everyone around me strong and independent, here to motivate the streets and less privilege that any thing is possible if you put your heart into it and put God first.

“I’m not here to make another man’s effort, work, or product look like nothing. There’s enough money to go round if u play your part well. If they give me award or not it does not define me. God bless whoever wins any award. God bless the organizers for the initiative. Thanks for creating an avenue to commend us for our works.

“But it’s nothing compared to what I am and who I am. I’m human! Made by God. I am Magic, If i need 1m awards on my shelf I’ll get someone to make them for me if I don’t have the money maybe I’ll go to P-Square’s house and rob them or D’banj lol (just kidding).”

3 suspected rapists arrested for impregnating 14 year old girl

rapists

According to Punch, the suspects, Kingsley Oke, Henry Osadere and Francis Ekwe, were arrested in the Majidun, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, before they were transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja.

It was gathered that the suspects, who lived in the same area with the parents of the teenager, identified only as Ijeoma, allegedly raped the girl in August 2016, after the mother went for a vigil.

Punch gathered that Ijeoma, a primary 6 pupil, was later discovered by the mother to be pregnant, and she reported to the police at the Owutu division.

The police said the three men were arrested on September 9, 2016.

Speaking with Punch Metro, Ijeoma said one of the suspects threatened to kill her if she disclosed the rape to anyone.

She said, “It was Uncle Kingsley (Oke) who first raped me. On that evening, he called me and said he would send me on an errand. When I went to his room, he immediately locked the door.

“I started begging him, but he forcefully carried me to his bed and raped me. On the second occasion, it was one man called Baba Ijebu that molested me. I had been sent to his house to collect an item.

“While in his house, he raped me. I cried, but he said I would die if I told anyone. The third man was Henry (Osadere). I don’t want to talk about it again.”

Forty-three-year-old Osadere, however, denied raping Ijeoma, saying she was a wayward girl.

He said, “She came to my place and said she had many boyfriends. I asked how a teenager like her had several boyfriends. Anytime she came to my apartment, she would steal some items. That was why I sent her away.

“I was surprised that she said I was one of those who raped her. She said she had a three-month-old pregnancy. I don’t know the other suspects. The girl lied against me. She knows the people who messed around with her. It was because I stopped her from coming to my house that she lied against me.”

Oke, 30, a welder, said, “I have known the girl since 2014. She usually came to my house to play. She is a wayward girl. Everyone knows about her promiscuity. I never raped her.”

Ekwe, 52, said Ijeoma and her mother had begged him in August to borrow them some money, which he did, adding that he did not rape the girl.

The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said the suspects would be charged to court at the end of investigations.

12 Innocent Lies Mothers Use To Help Their Children Get Through The Day.

kid-choco

As little kids, we were bound to whatsoever we were told, whether true or not, we couldn’t tell, so we’d believe! People who tell us these words we’re bound are our teachers, elder siblings, aunts, uncle, dads but most especially our MOMS!!

When we were kids, they’re our one and only backbone, the one person we run to when we’re hungry, when we need to be pampered, when we need to report our siblings among many others, depending on how your childhood was.

It’s no doubt that while we saw them as our backbones, they saw us… one way or the other a pain in the butthole! And many a times, they find possible excuses to get rid of us! And these excuses(lies) of course, we have no choice but to believe them! I mean, we were young and vulnerable eh?! And besides, they were suitable to our hearing.

We look at some of the innocent lies most moms their kids to help them get through the day! Most of us can relate!

1. “You ears turn red when you lie.”

momma-lies

You know how Nigerian kids are given in to most kinds of superstition… Say this phrase and watch your kids hiding their ears every time they lie. It’s funny, but at the same time, they’ll learn that lying is bad!

2. “You used to love eating this when you were a baby!”

momma-lies1

Hehe… this is when you want them to drink that PAP!. It can really help your picky eaters to get over their dislikes for healthy food. Not for long though, bare that in mind.

3. “Maybe we can go ______ tomorrow.”

momma-lies2

If your children want to go somewhere too late or you simply don’t want to go there, this phrase does the trick and hopefully, they forget about it tomorrow morning. Some of them are way too smart to forget though…

Recession: Many Nollywood “Fine Boys” Turning To Gigolos – Actor Davidson Dike

act-0

Talented and handsome fast-rising Nollywood actor, Davidson Uchenna Dikeocha has decried the impact of the current Nigerian economic downturn on practitioners of the Nigerian movie industry.

Speaking recently to an online media while on set of “The X-List”, a new romance/suspense film by Lachris Pictures featuring himself, IK Ogbonna, Zack Orji, Ufedo Sunshine, Tamara Eteimo and many more, the 6ft tall actor dropped a bombshell.

act-01

“My role in the movie ‘The X-List’, My character in the movie was maxwell , best friend to Fred (IK Ogbonna). Fred is a big time playboy who became haunted by his past life just when he was ready to settle down with the love of his life, and i must tell you that his role is not far from what happens nowadays among the youths; among the so called ‘fine boys’. It’s disturbing how many youths have developed a penchant for being ‘playboys’ and ‘gigolos’. It’s disturbing! I tell you, even in Nollywood. It’s on the increase lately especially with the ongoing economy recession; many good looking actors have turned into glorified gigolos sleeping around with rich women and many of these women are married. Imagine that. The excuse many of these fine boys give is that ‘boys must survive na’. But what i’m trying to say is that every lifestyle we indulge in will sooner or later tell on us. There is a repercussion for everything, ” Davidson told reporters.

act-02

Asked if he also indulge in such a act since he equally falls into the category of the ‘fine boy’ actors and a ladies man anyday, Davidson, a graduate of Forestry and Wildlife from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, laughed out loud and said.

act-03

“I am from a strong Christian background. I can’t compromise my integrity for money. Think about it. Importantly, i won’t stop insisting that actors should diversify. Don’t make yourself ‘sex hawkers’, get industrious. That is one thing i do. I have another business i run. Our industry is not the type that brings a consistent income, so you just must have a back up.”

act-04

The Imo State born actor asked his fans to watch out for him soon as he is about to take his acting career to a whole new level, and also appeal to the Government to please do something urgent as the recession has left not only actors becoming “sex hawkers”, but Nigerians in general in every sector are groaning.

“Any pastor who forces tithe upon you is a glorified yahoo boy” – OAP Freeze

freeze_01 (1)

Controversial OAP Freeze is one who never shies away from airing his opinion on anything and everything. Of recent, he has taken a seemingly vast interest in pastors who live big and flaunt material things.

ch

In this new post, he shared the post above of a lady complaining about her church and tithing…Read what he wrote below:

“Tradition, education and Religion are the worlds biggest scams! Tradition is the invisible chain used to bind our physical bodies, education is the perimeter fence that keeps our minds captive, while religion is the pair of handcuffs binding our spirit.

Once a person or organization has control of these, they enslave the captive and his offspring perpetually. Anyone who sees through these scams and wants out of this modern day slavery, is seen as a stupid outcast by fellow ‘mind prisoners’.

Imagine one lady in my office arguing that tithe is an instruction from God, I agree, but God, in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 14 verse 22, says eat your tithe at a chosen place, the person replied me saying “God forbid!”

I showed her the bible, including the part where the instruction from God was for us to purchase the alcohol drink of our choice with our tithe (Deut 14v26) and she said “that can’t be right”……. Of course it can’t be right, your pastor knows more than God now, abi!
Listen, the instruction from God is bring 10% of your crops and the first born male of your animals.
_________________
Deut 14 v 23 “Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship—the place the LORD your God chooses for his name to be honored—and eat it there in his presence. This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the LORD your God.” __________________

So let’s imagine a cattle rearer has 5 cows, and each gave birth to a female calf. That year he had increase of 5 cows, was he supposed to tithe on them? Of course not! Why? The bible said “first born male” I often wonder where these retires yahoo boys got this 10% across board calculation for tithe, because, for a whole year, the cattle rearer was not obligated to tithe in anyway!

During Jesus time there were people who didn’t plant crops or rear animals, laborers, tailors, carpenters, tax collectors etc.

These people didn’t deal with crops and animals they dealt with money… Hmmmm both Deuteronomy and Malachi talk only about crops and animals not money! Any pastor that force tithe upon you, is a glorified yahoo boy! ~FRZ”

The football icon’s £15 million private jet crashed while it was trying to land in Barcelona, according to online reports.

The Real Madrid and Portugal superstar was not on board the plane when the crash happened at El Prat airport on Monday evening.

It is understood the plane’s landing gear broke on impact, and a runway at the airport was closed. The pilot was treated for minor injuries, but no one was seriously hurt.

The 31-year-old football ace often rents the plane, a Gulfstream G200 which he bought last year, to private clients, and none of the star’s friends or family was onboard when the crash happened.

“She lost a baby, had a miscarriage but God Finally did it” – Tito Idakula shares the testimony of the birth of her son, Joshua

bez-0

We are super excited for singer Bez Idakula & his wife Tito!

Last year, the couple revealed they had suffered the painful loss of their first child 24 hours after her birth and 14 hours of labour.

The couple who got married lost a full term pregnancy with Tito painfully writing on her blog in July 2015.

bez-01

They welcomed their son Joshua in July 2016 and she has now shared the testimony!

She says “I knew I had to share this story. God has been too good to me and for me, my life is all about sharing his goodness with everyone I can. My son is 3 months and today feels like the perfect day to share this very long story. I hope someone finds hope. I hope you will be inspired to seek God in new ways and on a deeper level. Thank you for all your kind words and prayers, I am eternally grateful.”

Read her testimony, as shared with mylighthouse.com.ng below.

On Sept 7th 2015, I had a miscarriage. I was 10 weeks pregnant.

Ironically, this happened on the day I got baptised. It was during church service and I spent a significant amount of the service in the bathroom; Bleeding.

I still went ahead with my baptism because it became so clear to me that I needed that baptism. I needed the cleansing. I needed to be refreshed and to start anew and as I stepped in that pool of water, I felt God so strongly. I knew I was walking into a new beginning and everything prior was being washed away.

I still don’t know how that water did not turn red considering how heavily I had been bleeding a few minutes before but I had no doubt that something changed with that baptism.

This is probably not what you expected to read. After all, I am the same person who shared my testimony after the loss of my daughter.

I am sure like me, you expected the next part of my story to have been more straightforward. Especially now that you probably know I gave birth to my precious son in July 2016, a year after I shared my testimony.

However, please do not think God did not know what I was going to experience because he did and he prepared me to stand and I did. Praise and thanksgiving never ceased from my lips because I made a decision that no matter what happened in my life, I would praise God.

I didn’t have the answers and I was not going to spend energy, trying to figure it out but I knew God had the answers and so I left that burden to him and gave him his due as God. I was not going to try to do what only he can do. And he showed himself to truly be Yahweh because in October 2015, I got pregnant again and in July 2016, a year after I shared my first testimony, I shared another testimony because he blessed us with a beautiful son.

When I found out I was pregnant again, I was in awe at how quickly God showed up because I truly never expected it. I thought it’ll take some time and that was fine with me. I wasn’t in any particular rush to get pregnant again but God does things in ways I can’t even imagine and he decided it was time. Who am I to argue? I was so ecstatic.

I was at a point in my life where I was waking up at 3am every morning, spending time with God and growing in relationship with the Holy Spirit and everything about my pregnancy was spirit-led (it sounds like cliché christianese but it really is the truth).

I didn’t even have to do a pregnancy test to know I was pregnant. It was a dream I had that told me I was. In my dream, I was about to take a glass of alcohol and someone tapped me on my hand and said: “drop that glass, don’t you know you are pregnant?” and I just knew I was.

I told my husband and that was that. I didn’t even bother with a pregnancy test because my spirit was so connected with the spirit of God that I knew when he spoke.

This was in October and I eventually did a pregnancy test in December (just because I wanted the physical confirmation). I also didn’t want to do a test earlier because I just didn’t want to be too human about things.

I knew once I did the test, I would start fussing, trying to control things as I had done in previous times and this time I couldn’t be bothered. I remember writing in my journal and telling God that I was leaving this child in his hands because he is God and he is the only one who can truly keep the child.

I found out I was pregnant in October but I didn’t go to a hospital until January. The first 3 months of a pregnancy are often the most delicate and it is after 3 months that you can usually be sure that your baby is going to make it.

I decided to give my first 3 months completely to Dr God because quite frankly, I couldn’t think of a better Doctor. I continued to wake up at 3am to pray and was always at work by 5am to begin my shift at the radio station. Apart from a cold a few times, I didn’t experience one bit of morning sickness. In fact, I continued to work out with a trainer after work until I had to stop.

I didn’t go to a doctor until January and once again, I chose a doctor based on the leading of the Holy Spirit because in previous experiences, I chose based on where people recommended not where God told me to go and I was doing things differently this time around.

So I wrote a prayer request asking God which hospital I was to go to and he dropped St Raphael’s in my spirit. I immediately recognised the name of the hospital as my Uncle’s hospital (his wife is my mum’s blood sister, same father, same mother).

I thought it was random because I hadn’t been to that hospital since I was a child and being the badly behaved child that I am, I hadn’t even spoken to my uncle since 2014.

These are all sentiments I expressed to my husband as I told him what God laid in my heart. I remember saying to him that I didn’t know how I was even going to reconnect with this uncle and anyway, if God wanted me to really go there, he would create the avenue. And God being God, he created the avenue because a couple of days later, my uncle’s son (my cousin) who also happens to be a doctor sent me a message on Facebook.

He and his wife wanted to attend an event I was a part of and wanted tickets. It seemed like a coincidence but I had learnt at this point that answered prayers come as perfect coincidences.

He had no idea I needed the opportunity to reconnect and the last time we exchanged messages or spoke was also in 2014. However, God heard my little prayer and used him to create an avenue to reconnect. This is how I knew which hospital to go to.

At my first visit to the hospital, my doctor immediately put me on bed rest (not because anything was wrong but because he termed my baby: a special baby). Also this man was a father figure to me as a child and I guess he didn’t want to take any chances.

He was extra careful with me and with each visit I could see why God directed me to that hospital. I had the best doctors and I had complete peace. We were also on the same wave length spiritually as he insisted we kept the pregnancy as quiet as possible which is something the Holy Spirit had told me too, so once again, I understood why God directed me to this hospital.

Through various avenues, God had been telling me to hide and had literally stopped me from going to certain places. He had also directed me to the story or Elizabeth and Mary and I noticed how Mary stayed with Elizabeth for at least 3 months of her pregnancy and Elizabeth hid herself for 5 months and as I read it, I once again felt a strong prompting to hide and that is what I did during this pregnancy.

I didn’t share with people I normally would have shared with and for a very very long time, it was between my husband and me until a few people figured it out but even then I stayed in hiding barely going anywhere.

With every appointment, my doctor emphasized the need to keep my pregnancy quiet and I obeyed him. This was probably the most difficult part of being pregnant for 9 months but once again, I had chosen to be completely obedient to the spirit of God and I did what I was led to do.

As the pregnancy progressed, I had decided I was going to travel to the states to have my baby and also just to “hide” myself.

However, that didn’t happen because once again I felt I was to have the baby here. Every time I was to buy my ticket or plan logistics, something came up and in my sensitivity to my spirit, I kept feeling I wasn’t meant to travel.

I had been reading the story of Saul and something God pointed out to me was that obedience was better than sacrifice. God had already told me which hospital to go to from the beginning, so why was I looking for yet another hospital in the states. Fortunately, my husband is also very spiritual and when I told him about my lack of desire to travel, he actually expressed that he had also been getting the same prompting, we prayed about it and we just had a peace with the decision not to travel.

This was also very tough because I remember someone saying to me that God can’t tell anyone to stay and have his or her child in Nigeria.

I found that funny on so many levels because my daughter passed away in the states and if anyone understood that it was not a function of where you give birth but the grace of God, it was me. I made the decision I felt comfortable with in my spirit and even though I was also not sure why, it made sense later.

As we deliberated where to have the baby, we also asked God for the name of our child. We knew it was a boy and we had been trying to decide on a name. Not to sound like a broken record but we decided to pray about it and let the Holy Spirit lead and God being so faithful he did something amazing. You might call in a coincidence but I know that isn’t the case.

On a specific day my husband and I prayed and asked God for the name of our son, the name Joshua immediately dropped in my spirit along with Jeremiah 29:11. I was confused and mixed up the verses so I checked Joshua 29:11 instead and of course no such verse existed.

I then realized that God was sending the verse Jeremiah 29:11 to confirm the name Joshua because he was essentially saying he knows the plans he has for us and that included our son. I was still musing about this and I remember praying to God to confirm the name with my husband.

One random afternoon, my husband and I were having a conversation and I felt the baby kicking so I just said: “why don’t we call him Joshua?” My husband gave me one of the weirdest and funniest looks ever and I immediately wanted to back track because I wanted God to give both of us a name we would agree on.

So when I saw his expression, I thought maybe it wasn’t the name. He then asked me why I chose that name and I explained that the name was dropped in my spirit.

He then proceeded to explain the reason for his funny expression. Apparently the name Joshua had been on his mind for 2 weeks already and every time he wanted to refer to the baby by name, that was the name he wanted to call him. So the fact that I suggested that same name blew him away and he was amazed at the way God answers every single prayer.

He kept saying: “God really answers all prayers”. I think that was one of the most powerful ways we saw God work because a seemingly ordinary prayer, God answered for us. The name Joshua means: Jehovah is my Saviour, Jehovah Delivers or Jehovah is Generous. For us, we have seen God show himself in this name and in our son’s life. The generosity of God hasn’t stopped flowing to him.

God continues to be a deliverer and it’s a real privilege to watch God work. God has done abundantly more than we could have hoped for or imagined. He has given us beauty for ashes, turned our sorrow to joy and has given us dancing for mourning just as he promised to.

On the 5th of July 2016, at about 12pm in the afternoon, I gave birth to our beautiful son: Joshua and that experience was truly God covered. God gave me what he promised but not as I imagined it. I learnt then that we can’t box God in a corner and just expect him to do what we imagine, he is God alone and he alone knows the best plan.

I didn’t expect to have my son by caesarean section. I worried about the recovery time, scarring and other factors so I kept praying for a quick, natural, painless delivery. A specific verse I held on to was in Isaiah 66: 7-9:

Before she went into labor, she had the baby. Before the birth pangs hit, she delivered a son. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? Has anyone seen anything like this? A country born in a day? A nation born in a flash? But Zion was barely in labor when she had her babies! Do I open the womb and not deliver the baby? Do I, the One who delivers babies, shut the womb?
I knew I was going to have a quick and painless delivery but not in the way it happened and once again I saw God show up.

On Monday the 4th of July, I started to have contractions. They were completely painless, although I felt pressure. I even wondered if they were Braxton hicks simply due to lack of pain but because they were quite intense and lasted for so long, I knew they were contractions. I also knew I wasn’t going to be in any pain so I had to focus on the pressure instead and judging by that, I knew it was time to go to the hospital.

Just as I was about to leave for the hospital, I started to leak so my water had broken. As soon as I got to the hospital, my uncle (doctor) started watching me. He was concerned that my water was leaking because it meant my baby was now connected to the world. And once that happens, the chances of the baby having an infection are higher. I learnt that is one of the main causes of jaundice with newborn babies and my uncle was not going to let that happen to my child.

He wanted us to have the caesarean section as soon as possible but I kept saying to him that I wanted natural delivery. Also I wasn’t in pain and I remember the nurses saying my labour wasn’t far along yet otherwise, I would be screaming in pain. I told them, I wasn’t going to have pain so they shouldn’t wait for me to start shouting. In fact I made sure I put on lipstick before going to the hospital because I wanted the experience to be memorable. Lol.

My Doctor decided to observe me for a while and see how my labour progressed. I was expecting that by the time they checked my dilation, I would be at least 4cm dilated but I was barely 1cm gone. It was hilarious because I had been feeling intense pressure for a while.

This process started around4pm in the afternoon and by 4am the next morning, I was barely 3cm dilated. At this point it was becoming quite apparent that I would have to have a CS but I wasn’t feeling it. This was the time I knew why God sent me to this hospital and to my uncle and cousin. There is a way your family can speak to you that strangers can’t and when the person is your uncle, there is no way you can say no.

My uncle told me I should have the CS because the membrane protecting my baby was compromised and we didn’t want to risk him having an infection. At this point, he was still speaking as my doctor but when I kept insisting on natural birth he switched to Uncle mode. I remember him saying: “Bolatito, don’t allow the devil to have a chance.”

It was at that point, I gave myself sense, because it didn’t even matter if the baby was born naturally or through a caesarean section, the most important thing was to have a healthy baby. So after asking a few questions about the procedure because I had been ignorant before, I agreed to the CS. I should state that at this point, my labour had stopped progressing completely and I wasn’t feeling anything at all. As soon as I agreed to the CS, I felt at peace.

Everything happened so quickly after. I went into the theatre and was put under anaesthesia but was completely awake for the whole thing. Within 5 minutes of being cut, I heard my baby crying. It was THAT QUICK. I couldn’t believe it. My Uncle and cousin were in the theatre although a consultant did the operation. As soon as my baby was born, my uncle brought him to my face for me to see and took a selfie of us.

It was the most awesome experience. I was still being operated on but I felt such joy. With my daughter, I never heard her cry so hearing my son cry was one of the most amazing sounds EVER. I was so happy.

They took him away to be cleaned as they continued to operate on me. Apparently there was a degenerated fibroid that was the reason for my labour not progressing and even if we had waited more hours, my labour might not have progressed and my baby could have gone into distress and also been infected. I started to see clearly that God directed me to my uncle because unlike a stranger who had no choice but to respect my wishes for my labour to progress, he could speak to me as my uncle and I strongly believed that saved us.

It also made my delivery special in many ways because I had family around and I didn’t realise how much I needed that until I did. God truly knows what is best for us and he gives us what we need. If I had travelled, I would have been alone and miserable in the months leading up to delivery and after especially because of my previous experience.

Staying at home to have my child made my pregnancy an amazing one because I was surrounded by so much love and kindness and I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. I had such peace and joy and I was just in awe of God.

Also God didn’t fail in his promise. I literally was delivered of a son before my labour pangs began just as he promised. I never had any labour pain. Also, the delivery was very quick. I was in and out of surgery is less than 30 minutes. I had said I didn’t want CS because of pain and recovery time but by the next day, I was walking and climbing stairs with very very minimal pain. I remember someone who came to visit me at the hospital telling me she couldn’t believe I had done surgery because I was so active and so chatty. To be honest I didn’t even know what a big deal this was until a few other people said the same thing.

I later realised this in itself was a testimony. My doctors kept saying my recovery was the quickest they had ever seen. The pastor who conducted our naming ceremony also told me it was a complete testimony because I was serving people and walking around at the naming in my home. He said to me, with most women, the naming took place in the hospital due to the surgery and told me to praise God. Once again, God gave me exactly what he promised because he took away the pain from me.

God showed me such mercy and I cannot praise him enough. The process after delivery has been a blessing. It has been a learning experience and I have had my fair share of challenges but God has always come through for my husband and I. He has given supernatural strength and has shown me I am capable of so much more than I ever imagined. My husband has also been a real superstar. He has been my biggest support system, an amazing husband and even more awesome Father. God chose him specifically for me and I couldn’t have married someone else. He has shown that ours is a true partnership and has made this experience easier on me as a woman and as a mother and I thank God for him.

My Son is 3 months today and I just want to praise God and give him a big shout out for being so so good to us. Watching him grow up daily is such a joy, he already has an interesting personality with the most beautiful smile that melts my heart. Of course when he cries, he puts his all into it and sometimes I just smile because I am realizing that even that is a gift some people are praying for.

I have been wanting to share this for a while and I am glad I am able to today. There is so much I couldn’t even put into words and I will share as the Holy Spirit leads.

To everyone who has supported us in one way or the other, may God bless you abundantly. To those who are still praying, trusting and believing God, please don’t give up.

More importantly, begin to seek God for him, build a personal, loving and obedient relationship with the Holy Spirit. Find reasons to praise God through the disappointments and the waiting. Don’t let pain pull you away from God’s love, he is the best comforter, let him heal your heart.

I knew it was important that I shared this because while we are all celebrating the end of the story, it is important to know it was a journey. It is important to know that there was yet another test on the way to the testimony. It is important to know that through praise and thanksgiving, God unlocks doors and accelerates situations that look impossible.

Through my tears, I learnt to praise God and he showed himself to be a Father whose love for me and my family is unfailing. I hope you will see that too in your lives. God bless you.

LMAO! This Is What Might Happen To You If You’re A “Notice Me Or I Die” Kinda Person.

obama-laughing-800x430

I cry-laughed after I read this, not feeling any kinda remorse for the “fake show-off” dude… I mean, why brag about what you’re not and at the end of the day, the people you’re showing off for didn’t give any kinda “audience”

Y’all should read below and laugh too!

And then this one saw some ladies sitting close by and decided that the best way to catch their attention would be by ‘talking big’. Because the damsels were within earshot, he whipped out his phone and made a fake call to someone at the port, called Boss, and audibly wanted to know why his consignment hadn’t yet been released.

Weren’t the fictional millions he paid not enough? He wondered aloud.

He threatened Boss, then boorishly said something about an imaginary meeting he was going to have with the deputy president and some cabinet secretaries. Then he ‘called’ his nonexistent driver and showily asked whether his mythological Range Rover was ready.

He did get the ladies’ attention alright. And also the attention of some thugs, who followed him home and mugged him, almost killed him, somewhere near the place he lives in a small one-bedroom house that he shares with 2 cousins.

The thugs beat him as if he was a snake. Probably because they were just disappointed that his wallet only had his ID card, 50 shillings and a condom.

He is still in hospital. Covered in bandages and with an IV line connected to a vein in his arm. And intensely trying to figure out what happened.

Keep on forcing life. You will die like chicken.

killer-mother1

An apparently wretched mother in India has been jailed for life after killing her six-month-old daughter so she could pay more attention to her sick son.

27 year old Ritu Ahuja, was found guilty at the High Court in Jabalpur, India of murdering the young girl, called Arohi, and dumping her body near a temple.

She was arrested after CCTV footage showed her taking the infant away from her house in a baby bag and driving away but returning without the bag.

According to the Times of India, she had took the baby who was sleeping in her cot and then drowned her in a pool of water in a desolate lane.

Ahuja later told police that her son is often ill, and she was unable to care for him properly because her daughter took up much of her time.

She told police:

‘I was already having trouble in bringing up a two-year-old child and now with this baby it became extremely difficult for me to manage.’

After her trial yesterday, she was led away from the High Court with a blanket covering her head. She was then put into a van and was taken to prison to start her life sentence.

School Grants Satanic Temple Permission To Have After-School Club For 10-Year-Olds.

After School Satan Club approved

A school in Portland, Oregon, has granted approval to a local Satanic Temple’s request to set up an after-school programme for pupils.

Children at Sacramento Elementary School, which educates pupils aged between 5 and 10, will have the opportunity to attend the Satanic club’s inaugural meeting on October 19.

Satanic Temple spokesman Finn Rezz told Oregon Live, the club would focus on “on science and rational thinking” promoting “benevolence and empathy for everybody” – while providing an alternative voice to the Bible-centred “Good News Club”.

On its After School Satan Club website, the Satanic Temple says it has been starting after school clubs to provide an alternative to evangelical Christian organisations that offer similar programmes in many schools across the US.

“Across the nation, parents are concerned about encroachments by proselytizing evangelicals in their public schools, and are eager to establish the presence of a contrasting voice that helps children to understand that one doesn’t need to submit to superstition in order to be a good person.

“Our goal, ultimately, is to place an ASSC in every school where the Good News Clubs, or other proselytizing religious groups, have established a presence.”

Sacramento Elementary is the second school in Oregon to get an After School Satan Club. The first, Nehalem Elementary School, was set up earlier this year.

Previously, the Satanic Temple produced a colouring book, the The Satanic Children’s Big Book of Activities which offered simple, educational exercises, such as drawing an inverted pentagram round an image of Satan.

“One Is For Money, The Other Is For Kids” – Lady With 2 Husbands Causes Frenzy On Social Media.

two-husbands

The woman in the photo above has caused quite a stir online after news emerged that she has been staying with two husbands under one roof for the past six years.

Mai Svova, who made Kephas Takawira, 40, and Tambudziko Svova, 60, live together peacefully sharing one stove and wife, dismissed claims she uses love potions.

According to Mai Svova, her husband (Svova) of 15 years’ role is to provide food since he is gainfully employed while the unemployed Kephas gives her kids.

“Ndiri manjenje ganda revasikana totem, I strongly believe in Christianity that I do not use love potions to make my two husbands live peacefully,’ she said.

“My first husband is the one who helps the family financially since the second one is still to get a job after he lost one. I married the second since my first husband is infertile to give me children and we discussed about it amicably. He asked me to take his nephew secretly to bear children with me but I refused because he was younger than me.

“Svova allowed me to look for another man to bear children behind his back and that is how I started dating Kephas. Svova had a daughter with another wife when he married me and Kephas dated this daughter behind my back since we are neighbours.

I confronted him over it and he promised to stop dating her on condition that I disclose our illicit affair to Svova and this is how it came to light. I have two children with Kephas although Svova’s relatives believe that he is the father of the children. My neighbours were irked by the developments that at one time they wanted Svova to attack Kephas promising him support and the incident ended at Epworth police station where we received counselling,” she said.

Mai Svova told H-Metro Zimbabwe that her relatives are aware of her polygamous marriage and has plans to help Kephas financially in order to pay part of lobola since he is unemployed.

Kepahs confirmed living peacefully with Svova saying he prepares food for Svova during mai Tafadzwa’s absence.

“We are living peacefully with Svova and whenever our wife is away I prepare food for Svova and when the wife is with me for some days Svova shares a bed with our elder child,’ said Kephas.

Our neighbours are shocked about it but we are not moved by it and we wonder why this story delayed to reach you guys because this has been the situation for some years,” said Kephas.

kemi-adeousn

Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, has stated that the country is already getting out of the economic recession, given the pragmatic approaches the Federal Government is taking to reverse the trend.

She said this on Wednesday while fielding questions from journalists at the end of a two-day National Council of Finance and Economic Development conference held at the Green Legacy Resort, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta.

She also noted that since the problems have been identified, and steps are already being taken to block waste, the road to recovery was sure.

“We are investing more in capital than we have ever invested. We are sorting out infrastructure, we are stopping wastage and so the signs of recovery are already there.”

She explained that agriculture and solid minerals are already starting to grow, as they are responding to government’s policy initiative.

Whatsapp Exposes Zimbabwean Man’s Affair With Wife’s Much Younger Sister

zimbabwe-hoe-0

A family in Zimbabwe is currently in disarray after a Harare woman tried to snatch her sister’s husband.

According to H-Metro, stunning revelations are that Rose Naomi, 20, stashed some herbs in her privates to lure Lawrence Muvirimi so that he leaves his wife Loreta Kondo Muvirimi, 32.

The affair was publicly exposed after the two cheats’ WhatsApp conversation leaked.

Lawrence’s sister in law agreed to sleep with him for a cellphone and US$50.

Loreta first discovered Rose’s message to Lawrence questioning why he was on line. In suspicion, Loreta said she then took Lawrence’s phone and started chatting with Rose, disguising to be Lawrence.

Whilst asking her leading questions, Loreta then found out that the two were having an adulterous affair.

zimbabwe-hoe-01

“My husband came back from work around 4:30pm and I took his phone to charge it.

“That is when l realised that my sister’s chat was right on top which is really strange because l never hear from her so l decided to continue with the chat pretending to be my husband.

“I then found out that she was actually asking for money and a cell phone from him for sex,” said Loreta.

Loreta said she then informed her elder sister whom she teamed up with to trap Rose by arranging a fake meeting with Lawrence.

“Since I was the one who was in possession of my husband’s phone, I then told Rose to come to High-Glen shopping centre where I had promised to give her the phone and the money in exchange for sex.

zimbabwe-hoe-02

From the way that she was dressed and how she was wearing makeup one could tell that she wanted to lure my husband.

“My elder sister and I left the car and instructed Rose through chat message to get inside the car and when she went inside we locked the doors,” said Loreta

Loreta said Rose wanted to use juju on Lawrence since she found herbs stashed in her private parts.

“I never thought your own sister can be that evil; we asked her why she was planning to have sex with my husband.

“She lied that there was no way she would have sex with him since she was on her menstrual period.

“We asked her to strip and when she stripped that was when we found juju stashed in her private part,” she said.
She also revealed this was not the first time that Rose made advances on her husband.

“When she was in form two, she once sent a message to my husband asking him to buy her panties,

“I didn’t take it seriously then because I thought she was childish to make such a request from him but I can see now that she was always after my husband,” she added.

Meanwhile, Rose denied having an affair with Lawrence but accused her sister of jealousy.

“I think my sister failed to understand the motives of the chat I had with her husband.

“I have my own husband and it was only a friendly conversation between me and my sister’s husband.

“She was only suspicious because l rarely chat with her but I talk to her husband,” she said.

When asked for comment Lawrence confirmed the relationship and said he was peer pressured to act that way by his workmates.

“Yes l was having flirting conversations with Rose and actually we started talking years ago.

“I was being influenced by my workmates to be in a relationship with her that is why we were sending all those messages to each other.

“I also feel that my mother-in-law was behind all this because she knew about my relationship with Rose because at one time I was using her phone to talk to Rose,” he said.

I want to address some ladies. I know I don’t have a bunch on my list, but if you are a lady then this is for you.

It’s not pride, I was telling a friend few days ago that I pity those who are not our friends now, because very soon they will struggle to get a glimpse of us.

Now, if you are a lady, girl and you are not doing anything. You just sit Changing DPs and PM,chatting with guys and you are above 20 please know that time is running out.

If you didn’t go to school, that’s a little bit worse but it’s not the end of life, Colonel Sanders was 62 when he founded KFC that shocked the world.

Who is that guy wasting your life? What have you placed value on? If you don’t place value on yourself, very soon that guy will dump you.

The only way to know you value yourself is not by wearing the most expensive pancakes with the money that a guy gave to you. It’s by taking responsibility and being responsible.

The truth of the matter is that, guys have become wiser over the years and will not want to spend the rest of their lives with a liability.

You are not doing anything, you have no skill. You say you are a sexy girl. Are there not sexy girls with brains? Or are you the only girl?

Take a decision right now, go out there and learn a skill, you can learn tailoring, hair-dressing, mechanic, make-up or learn what am doing now P.O.P.

Don’t let any guy intimidate you with his car. Develop yourself and very soon you will employ him as your driver.. Stop seeing cars, start seeing stars

Woman Climbs Mountain, Spends Two Months Painting Picture Of A Man She’s Madly In Love With. (Photos)

lingling3

Few days ago, a group of backpackers found a portrait of a man painted on the side of a cliff in the city of Taizhou, Zhejiang province, China – it was later revealed that the portrait was painted by a 37-year-old woman in order to profess her love to a man.

The portrait would likely have been discovered sooner were it not for the fact that the 218-meter-high cliff wall where the portrait was painted was off main routine path. The portrait is 6 to 7 meters high, with the subject’s expression vividly depicted. All clues pointed to the work being done by a skilled painter.

According to a man surnamed Wang, a member of the local rock-climbing club, the portrait was painted by a climber named Lingling.

After falling in love with a fellow club member named Chen Geng, Lingling decided to paint Chen’s portrait on the mountain cliff to show her love.

Lingling came to the mountain every weekend and worked on her masterpiece after spending several hours climbing to its site. In order to save time, she lived on the mountain during weekends.

It took Lingling two months to complete the portrait. She used mineral pigment so that the painting would be preserved for a long time. Wang said it was not right to paint on a tourist site, but that Lingling’s love for Chen is true.

The People’s Daily China reports that after her painting was discovered by the local tourism department, Lingling promised to remove the portrait soon.

Man Murdered In Festac Just Days After Winning Loads Of Money From Lottery.

festac-man-killed

A 35-year-old man, Ejike Onyejekwe, has been killed in the FESTAC Town area of Lagos State.

According to PUNCH Metro, the victim, who lived on 21 Road, K Close, FESTAC, was stabbed to death after winning a lot of money from a lottery.

Onyejekwe, to celebrate the winning, bought drinks for his friends and threw a party last Thursday and Friday. It was learnt that on Friday evening, he was heard arguing with an unidentified person on the phone.

He allegedly told his friend he was going to see the man, but never returned. His corpse was allegedly discovered the next day on one of the estates.

A resident, who did not want to be identified, said the chairman of the estate called the attention of residents to the corpse on Saturday.

He said:

“I was sipping tea around 7am when I heard the chairman blowing a whistle. I thought it was strange, but my wife called my attention to the surging crowd on the estate.

“I went downstairs and saw the corpse on the road. Like everybody, I was alarmed. We could not tell how the corpse got there or who he was. He had multiple stab injuries in the head. We all resolved that the case should be reported at the FESTAC Police Station.”

It was learnt that some of the victim’s friends later identified him.

The corpse was said to have been deposited in a morgue, while the police arrested and detained the chairman of the estate and his secretary; they were later released.

A source told PUNCH Metro that the victim won a lottery few days to his death.

He said:

“The man won a lot of money in a lottery and from last Thursday to Friday, he was asking his friends to drink at his expense.
“He was called on the phone that Friday evening and he went to meet a man. I suspect that a gang stabbed him and used an object to hit him in the head. There were bruises on his knees and it appeared they dragged him on the floor as well.
“When the police were removing his corpse, blood was dripping from his mouth and nostrils. He was murdered in cold blood.”

A friend of the victim, who did not identify himself, said his relative had visited the community.

“I can’t say why he was killed. Nobody knows. He just returned from a visit to the village,” he added.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident, adding that the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba.

She added that the police had already arrested two suspects in connection with the death.

She said,

“The chairman of one of the estates reported that at about 7am, he woke up and saw the victim lying lifeless with injuries on his head and body. The corpse was deposited at the Isolo General Hospital Mortuary for autopsy. Two suspects, Suleiman Ahmed and Ibrahim Yusuf, were arrested and the case transferred to the SCIID for further investigation.”
