Wife Who Paid Assassins N500,000 To Kill Husband Says She’s A Frustrated Housewife.

Mrs Chika Orji And Ikechuckwu
Mrs Chika Orji And Ikechuckwu

A 41-year-old woman, who was apprehended by policemen attached to the Area ‘J’ Command, Ajah, Lagos State, for allegedly hiring assassins to kill her husband of 14 years over a disagreement which led to their separation, has said she was a frustrated housewife but that she only sent the thugs to beat him.

The suspect, Mrs. Chika Orji, was arrested following a confessional statement by one of the suspected assassins, Bright Ikechukwu, who was arrested while attempting to break into Mr. Orji’s apartment at Jakande Estate, Ajah.

During preliminary investigation, it was discovered that one of those hired for the botched assassination was a carpenter, identified as Ekene, who usually worked for Mr. Orji. During interrogation, Mrs Orji, a mother of four, denied sending thugs to kill her husband. Rather, she stated that she only told them to beat him, to teach him a lesson for always beating her.

According to her,

“we got married 14 years ago and are blessed with three daughters and a son. All of a sudden, my husband became a wife beater. He would beat me, leaving me with swollen face and would also threaten to kill me.
He chased me out of the house three years ago. I made several efforts to get my children back, part of which was to report him to human rights offices for settlement. But he did not honour any of the invitations. Both families have made attempts to settle us, but he would not listen. “He was served with a court warrant over the issue, but he also refused to show up. Along the line, he sold the house we both built for N85 million, but never gave me any dime.
He also stopped our children from visiting me and any attempt to see them always resulted in beating. Out of frustration, I told Ekene, our carpenter, to beat him up. I did not pay him or hire anyone to kill him. I am a frustrated woman and I am sorry for everything.”

She paid us to kill him’ However, the arrested suspect, Bright Ikechukwu, insisted that he was contracted by Ekene to kill Mr. Orji, on the instructions of his estranged wife. Ikechukwu, a plumber, disclosed that he travelled all the way from Delta State to carry out the operation, with another thug whose name he gave simply as Samuel.

According to him,

“I live in Ogwuashi-Ukwu, Delta State. My friend, Ekene, said he had a job for me. This was three weeks ago. I hurriedly came to Lagos and stayed with him in Ajah, where I met another of his friend, Samuel.

He told us that Madam Chika promised him N500,000 to kill her husband. Thereafter, he told Samuel to take me to Mr. Orji’s house, to identify the target. We went there and hid inside a tricycle, waiting for Mr. Orji, who we were told always came to open the gate himself whenever he was returning home.

But on that day, it was his daughter that opened the gate. We went back the next day, yet it was his daughter that opened the gate again.
By the time we went the third day, it was Mr Orji that opened the gate himself. The plan was to rush to him and stab him eight times in the chest, rib and neck. But Samuel, who was supposed to stab him, went to buy cigarette and by the time he came back, our target had gone inside and shut the gate.

Out of frustration, I went back home and told Ekene to give me my own share of the money that I was going home. But he stated that Madam Chika would only pay after the job was done. I decided to go to Mr. Orji’s apartment to steal instead, to get some money to go back to Delta State. But as I was trying to jump through the fence, somebody raised alarm which attracted members of a vigilante in the area, who apprehended me. I had to open up when they almost killed me.”

“I Am Used To People Making Fun About Me” – Tiwa Savage.

tiwa-savage1

Premium Times caught up with Mavin Record’s First Lady, Tiwa Savage, at an event in Lagos on Tuesday. In the interview, the lovely mother of one spoke about her career, her international deal, personal life and controversies surrounding her…

Read below:

How have you handled all the controversies that trailed your marriage in April?

It’s been the grace of God and I think I have been able to pull through by simply immersing myself in my work.

And the bad press and ‘nasty’ things written about you?

Generally speaking all that has been written about me doesn’t really affect me anymore. When I got into the industry initially, it was very difficult for anybody to realise this. But now, I have come to the realisation that the hard work you put in and the positive things that you do as an artiste always outweighs the negative. Whether you’re in the media, a banker or a nurse, you’re going to have people talk about you. Not everyone loves Jesus Christ so who am I to talk about people saying things about me? You can’t make everyone happy. I don’t try to waste time on people that don’t love me, so I just spend time with people that love me so I don’t disappoint them.

How do you handle embarrassing moments?

I don’t really think that I have had embarrassing moments like that. But I did have one recently while performing on the stage; where my cloth ripped off. I grew up around boys and my brothers teased me a lot. So, I am used to people making fun about me. I don’t take life too seriously and also, Mavin Records comprises of men; Di’ja and I are the only females. My male colleagues are all fun to be around. So when something embarrassing happens, I just take it laugh off and never take it to heart.

What is next for Tiwa Savage?

The next stage is how to work and break into the international market. I definitely don’t want to forget my Nigerian roots. I think that when you sign international deal, there is this tendency to forget home. We artistes also tend to forget that the main reason they signed you is because you were doing very well at home, so you can’t forget that. So, I am basically just trying to strike a balance with both audience and market. My dream is to grow the Tiwa Savage brand at home and abroad.

Tell us how you got signed on with Jay Z’s Roc Nation?

There’s a guy called Briant “Bee-High” Biggs; he is Jay Z’s cousin. He also doubles as Roc Nation’s current director of mobile strategies. He had been visiting Nigeria for few months to scout for fresh talents in Africa. The aim was to get these artistes and Jay Z’s label into the global market. I guess Brian had been monitoring my music and my career through the years before deciding to go with me. I guess he went with me because I am female while his other partners/remaining scouts were getting male artists. He wanted to strike a deal with a female artiste because the biggest artistes in America like Rihanna and Adele are all females. So, he really believes that there is a market for talented female artistes.

Are you not bothered by the fact that something similar crashed Mo’hits?

Oh no. I really don’t think the international deal is what broke up Mo’hits and I don’t really think any of us can actually talk about that issue. This is because only the two of them-Don Jazzy and D’banj, really know what happened. But mine is a blessing and I am not going to allow what happened in the past affect me.

How did you feel when you met Jay Z?

It was an incredible feeling but when you meet with him, you will realize that he is human afterall. He was very chilled, very relaxed and he made us feel comfortable. It happened so fast that I didn’t have time to really feel nervous. He spoke a lot about his experience and shared a lot of wisdom. Meeting him is such a great achievement but the work really starts now so we can really prove to the world that the partnership is successful.

Regardless of all that that has happened in your life, are you truly happy?

Of course I am very happy and I am blessed; I have a loving family, my career is getting stronger by the day. I recently signed an international deal so why won’t I be happy?

Is acting something you want to explore?

Yes, I really want to explore acting. I starred in Shuga and Jenifa’s Diary. But it has to be the right role. I also think that acting takes a lot of your time and it also takes a few months out of your calendar.

What role would you want to play?

I wouldn’t want to play a role that is similar to whom I am in real life i.e. a celebrity, musician or whatever people perceive as Tiwa savage. I will actually love to play the role of a market woman.

14 Year Old Housegirl Cries Out After Her Boss Drugs And Rapes Her.

ikotun-rape

The Lagos State police command has apprehended a man, identified as Nathaniel, for allegedly drugging and raping his 14-year-old housemaid in the Ikotun area of the state.

According to Punch Metro, Nathaniel, who stayed on Ajisegiri Street, in the Egbe area, was arrested by the Ikotun Police Division on Sunday. It was gathered that the suspect allegedly lured his housemaid, Chinwe (pseudonym), with a cup of juice penultimate Monday, which contained a sedative.

The two persons were reportedly alone in the apartment on the day. The victim, who is an orphan, was brought from a village in the south eastern part of Nigeria to work in Nathaniel’s house.

It was said that when she woke up, she found that she was naked. She also reportedly found semen in her private parts.

It was gathered that after the incident, Chinwe fled the house, dropping a letter for the suspect’s wife to intimate her on the sexual abuse she (Chinwe) had allegedly suffered.

It was learnt that the teenager also confided in a neighbour, who is a pastor in the area. The pastor was said to have informed a child rights’ organization, which in turn reported at a police station.

In the letter obtained by Punch Metro, Chinwe wrote that she did not want to return to the house as she was fed up with sexual abuses allegedly by Nathaniel.

She said:

“Dear aunty, I want to go. I am suffering here. Look at what your husband has been doing to me. The last time that he did it, he gave me a drink and I did not know that he purposely gave me that drink so that I could fall asleep. It was when I woke up that I now found myself naked. I now saw white thing on my laps. This is what he was doing to me the other time that I told you that I wanted to go. I do not want to cause trouble for you. Please, call my brother to come and take me away. I want to go and I do not want to stay here again.”

A source with the Child Protection Network, where the pastor reported the case, said,

“The man is over 40 years old. He employed the victim as a domestic help.
He had been sexually abusing the 14-year-old victim. On that Monday, he drugged her juice. That day was a public holiday. When she slept off, he raped her.
She ran away from the house, because she did not want trouble for the man’s wife. Nathaniel has been arrested by the police. The Family Support Unit of the police is handling the matter.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed Nathaniel’s arrest. She said, “The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has directed that the case be charged to court.”

While they rant and scheme????
I dress, smile and dance along?????????

Trust no one.. Never let down your guard

They don’t chose me..
Run away from depressed souls or else they will blame you for their woes tomorrow.
Not all that glitters is gold
Not all that twinkles are stars..
Be real, Be you
Never lose sight of the things that are most precious to you.
While it is good to dream dreams; it is always better to work and walk towards them.
Never be to scared to fail, failing is part of the learning process!! Every influential person on earth today once failed in something. Always have the courage to forge ahead…
Never give credence to most celebrity’s lifestyle !!! 75 percent of the times… Is just a showmanship
Never think we have it all, most of us go to bed crying? only if our life’s are as perfect and glamorous as we portray them on social media.. Remember the rich also cry ????
Be content with what you have.
Never be envious of anyone
Pray for your day of glory.,
Have I said too much?
There is nothing more I can think of to say to you..
All you have to do is look at me to know that every word here is true.

“I Once Followed My Husband To The Club So That No Girl Would Twerk On Him” – Ese Walter Ark.

ese-walter-ark

Ese Walter-Ark, wife of Cool FM’s OAP, Benny Ark has penned down an interesting perspective on women and their propensity to see themselves as an extension of men because they have been programmed to feel they have been put on earth to serve men.

Some women only find relevance in marriage, and even while married, they allow their fears and insecurities affect their marriage. She narrates how at a time she was so paranoid that she followed her husband, OAP Benny Ark to the club to make sure no girl ‘twerked‘ on him.

Her article below:

DEAR NIGERIAN WOMAN!

If I got a dollar for every time I read this I’d be a millionaire by now.

The weird part is, most times it’s from another Nigerian woman so you need to ask if they are addressing themselves too. By the law of projection, they are.

That said, could we please take a moment to look at the Nigerian woman in all her “glory?”

I’d focus on married women because they seem to be the ones I chat with often these days. And no, it’s not “what do I do” situations.

As always, I’d be using myself as the lab rat for this experiment. And, I will focus on something I read this morning about Nigerian wives.

When I first got married I was a tad paranoid. More than that, I didn’t know myself with regards what Ese wanted, what made her happy, whether she liked to go out or stay home etc etc.

I was always ready to follow hubby to the club because god forbid some girl wants to twerk on him. I generally don’t like clubs, the music is too loud, I get bored after about 30 minutes, I feel I don’t dress appropriately. I mean, I will wear heels but want to take them off so I can boogie down. It was all types of tiring.

If he doesn’t come home an hour after work, I’m already thinking where he is, making up stories in my head about what he could be doing and with whom. Planning to steal his phone to check for clues or smell his shirt for a different perfume. Heck, I even checked the car a few times for Brazilian hair. Sigh*

And then one day, after a huge disagreement, I started planning to leave him. Why did I want to leave? Paranoia. I was tired of always feeling unhappy because I wasn’t sure I was enough. I wanted to be happy but I had placed the keys to my happiness in his hands and he didn’t know what to do with it. I was going to clubs when I really didn’t want to because I wanted to know what was happening with him in the club.

Oh boy! The torture hit my brain and the brain had to reset.

After months of introspection, doubt, fear, insecurity and all its relations, I had to ask what Ese wants. What makes Ese happy? And what the bloodclaat was this marriage relationship all about?

As I started to own my own demons, I was able to go back to where I picked up the fears and bs from.

From a young age we are programmed to think we are put on earth for men. It’s not just in our homes, it’s in the media, on the street, in music videos, movies, posters, etc etc. It’s not strange for a man to grab you in the market to come check out his wares. In the club, a stranger can touch your boobs or ass, on the road, a man can run into your car and tell you, “I get your type for house.”

The “putting a woman in her place” didn’t start today. Even religious books are in on it too. Submit, don’t speak, don’t talk, don’t breath, just die. It’s tiring. The fights against these ideas are tiring too.

I think that every time somebody says, “we are equal to men,” they reinforce that stereotype that tells the woman she is less. I’m not sure how to explain this, but that’s what it says to me. Do you have to tell a human that they are human? It’s like when we say “gay people are people too.” Are you talking to a 2 year old?

If as a human being (male or female), you do not know that humans are essentially equal, no law, decree or rant on social media can teach you that.

I once saw the male as superior to me. I don’t remember where I got that idea from but it was my default programming. And it didn’t start today. It goes back to before I was aware of anything. I imagine the male is programmed that way too. He feels he is superior to the female and he has religious texts, culture and general human interaction to reinforce that.

Tell that kind of man that a woman is equal and he will fight back. It’s not you he is fighting but the idea that something wants to shake his core beliefs. You cannot convince that kind of person otherwise with 100 facebook posts. Sometimes I think the people that talk for and against equality are trapped in an endless battle of words.

Until a person wakes up to their own reality of who they are, until they feel enough in themselves, until they intentionally work to deprogram from what society has fed them, we will be fighting till we die. Most times, it’s the pain that wakes a person up so any attempt to shield them from pain is not only intrusive of their process but a waste of time.

Biko, let the Nigerian woman be. If you want to be an example of what’s possible for her, live out your message. Stop bullying people because they aren’t where you are or don’t see as you see.

And for the Nigerian wife who is battling with paranoia, I’d tell you this for free. The more you fight your partner, or his female friends or his single friends, the more you give yourself reasons to keep fighting and push the partner away from your crazy ass. And when you snoop through a person’s phone, you will find what you are looking for, guaranteed.

Try this, let adults be adults. People are going to do what they want to do anyways, why not try to live a little. Listen to the voices in you head and have conversations with them. The next time you want to fight over some story in your own head ask yourself if it’s worth it. It will be hard at first, even painful but with time you’d stop seeing marriage (or relationships) as a reason to try and control or possess another human being.

You’d learn to love you enough to give the other person room to be themselves. Plus, you’d stop focusing on only the negative aspects of your life. You’d see the good, you’d reconnect with friends, you’d find a new hobby and you will grow into the person you came forth to be.

How do I know this?

It’s been my journey.

Good morning from Lagos State, Nigeria.

Man Writes Emotional Open Letter To His Wife Over Her Poor Attitude Towards Their Sex Life.

open-letter-to-wife

A man has painstakingly taken time to pen down a heartfelt open letter to his wife, who he says is lackadaisical towards their sex life, which is supposed to be a conjugal bliss since their wedding of three years.

The letter which was shared by comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, reads:

My Dear wife,
I want to let you know how I feel about our sex life, and how it affects me negatively.

Most of the time you complain about me becoming angry too easily, what you don’t know is that my anger most of the time is not about what made me angry, but about the way you handle our sex life. You always thinks you are doing me a favor by allowing me to sleep with you. The way you normally reject me, affect me, my ego, my manhood, my leadership and this is, because you reject me in an annoying way.

Before I got married to you, I had the dream of having an unfettered access to sex after wedding thats why I kept myself for you till our wedding night. I enjoyed the best of you during our honey moon and few months after, things Fell apart and center could not hold.

During the last 3 years, I have attempted to make love to you 600 times and I succeeded only 62 tines, this is an average of once in 10 attempts.

These are the complaints you make that have been a road block on my way to romantic leaving:

We will wake our neighbors (64times)
The children will hear (35times)
The bed is making noise(29times)
Placing the baby on your chest(25times)
It is too hot(30times)
I don’t want to be pregnant(22times)
Pretend to be asleep (43times)
Your mother will hear us(11times)
New hair done(37times)
It is too late in the night(32times)
I am so tired (85times)
Wrong time of the month
Not in the mood(39times)

Many which I don’t even want to say but the 62 times I did succeed, the results were not always satisfying because of your behavior. You will first start by ordering me around, “switch off the light”, close the window, the door is not properly locked close it, put the fan on number 5, go take your bath, many more which tears won’t allow me to say.

Even when you agree I don’t normally enjoy myself because of the way you react. You just lay as if you are not in the bed with me (12times)

I had to wake you up to Tell you I’m done

Tears won’t let me say all

For our marriage to be better, I think you need to improve and make me happy. P

Yours in love,
Ur hungry & neglected hubby

Read This Lovely Encounter Of A Nigerian Guy And The Children He Met Begging For Alms In Lagos. (Photos)

lagos-kids-begging-for-alms

Honestly, this is all I want to do when I see these kids, but my superstition won’t let, too many distasteful tales I’ve heard hinders me but hopefully, this guy’s encounter has given me a change of orientation.

The Nigerian guy who met with children begging for alms in Lagos shares his absolutely lovely story! It’s just so sweet… Read below:

THE LITTLE THINGS THAT CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING WHICH WE MOSTLY OVERLOOK.

Children needs love more than material things, they need our attention more than our sweets and biscuits.

We were on our way going home from an outreach when we met the little Abigail and her brothers (Abigail is that 4yrs little girl you meet everyday in front of the Polo park Mall gate begging alms with his brothers).

My beautiful Miracle Nnam called out to her and she rushed to meet us expecting some money to come out, Mimi carried her in her alms and asked her if she would want to go shopping with us inside Shoprite, she smiled and accepted with so much excitement and
we all marched into the mall alongside her 2brothers, we started at Pep shop and ended at Shoprite…

We played, we giggled, we loved, we shared… The next day we followed them home, connected with their mother (a single mother of 3)and we found out that little smart Abigail and her 12yr old elder brother have never been to school before and they’ve been enrolled to benefit from our “EXPLORING THE STREET CHAMPS PROJECT”.

People who knew them as beggars were looking at us in dismay inside shoprite… But I bet they do not know the feelings our little kind gesture brought out of the little impoverished Angels. (One of the shop managers even wanted to walk them out of the mall not knowing they were with us, I shunned him badly though)

UK-Based Surgeon Cries Out After UNILORIN Teaching Hospital Allegedly Killed Her Dad.

unilorin-teaching-hospital

A UK-based surgeon, Mrs. Oluwakemi Elizabeth Oduwaiye, has accused doctors at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital of causing the demise of her 69-year old father through medical negligence.

On 26 November, 2015, Mrs. Oduwaiye phoned her father who, she had been previously informed, was experiencing abdominal pains. The 69-year old man, she said, told her that he was on admission in a private hospital.

According to Sahara Reporters, the surgeon demanded to speak with the doctor at the hospital, who recommended the patient’s transfer to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.

The private medical practitioner said her hospital had discovered that the patient was suffering from intestinal obstruction. It seemed a wise recommendation and Mrs. Oduwaiye immediately advised her father to go to the teaching hospital and demand to get an abdominal CT scan done.

In addition, Mrs. Oduwaiye disclosed to Sahara Reporters, she made phone calls to inform the doctors she knew to try to get her father to have a CT scan done to determine the cause of the obstruction and appropriately deal with it.

It did not go as planned, as her father never had that CT scan done. He died nine days later.

Two days after her father arrived at the teaching hospital, explained Mrs. Oduwaiye, she got a call from a relative who was caring for her father.

The relative, she said, told her to advise her father to cooperate with the medical team, as he had pulled off the nasogastric (NG) tube passed via his nose to his stomach to provide nutritional support and for decompression of abdominal obstruction.

She said she called to find out why he pulled the tube out and was told that he was complaining of breathing difficulties. The relative further said if her father had not removed the tube, he would have died, as he practically could not breathe.

Being familiar with the process, Mrs. Oduwaiye said she told the relative not to worry, as she suspected, from the symptoms described to her, that the tube might have been passed to his airway rather than his stomach. She advised that her father should be left alone so the medical team could re-pass the tube the next morning.

It never went as suggested. Mrs. Oduwaiye said she was informed that the nurses were angry with her father for not cooperating with the medical team, saying he should not have removed the tube despite choking on it.

“In fact, they challenged him to get his daughter from England to come and treat him instead. My father’s intestinal obstruction was in the large bowels and he had not eaten for days, neither was he vomiting, therefore a nasogastric tube at that stage was completely irrelevant to his care, in my opinion. My father was, however, told that the tube was the remedy to his large bowel obstruction,” she told SaharaReporters.

The following day, Mrs. Oduwaiye demanded to speak with one of the doctors to find out the definitive management plan for her father’s symptoms. This was because she was getting worried about him being left untreated for three days.

She got through to a doctor, who suggested that the obstruction was from faecal impaction and they had done a few rectal washouts with minimal results.

Mrs. Oduwaiye said she then asked if there was a plan to give her father any oral laxative as well as enemas to at least soften the stool to move it further down for the enemas to be more effective.

The doctor, according to her, replied that the man could not be fed through the mouth and that there was no plan to give him an oral laxative.

Her worries grew. She explained to the doctor that she suspected something graver because she was not convinced that intestinal obstruction from faecal impaction was possible in a person as fit, healthy and active as her dad.

“I also mentioned the obvious weight loss as well as a subtle line in his scan report that suggested to me it might be something more serious. The doctor said the symptoms were common in his age group,” added Mrs. Oduwaiye.

The alarm bells began to chime more loudly.

“I immediately rang my relative, who happens to be a senior doctor at the same hospital, about my concerns, and he advised me to leave the managing team to manage my dad the way they know best – the Nigerian way,” she explained.

Mrs. Oduwaiye decided to take a step back, trusting her doctor relative to handle things. She disclosed that she was also told that the managing consultant was yet to review her father four days after his admission in the hospital for acute intestinal obstruction, a development she considered bizarre.

This is because intestinal obstruction is a surgical emergency that must be dealt with immediately. She demanded to know why a CT scan was yet to be done and they said they were waiting for the consultant to review.

“I believe my relative must have facilitated the ‘consultant review,’ which happened later. The surgical consultant also requested for a CT abdomen scan. After paying for the CT, it was not done as the radiologist reported that a certain element in my father’s blood test result was high and he could therefore not have it done until it was corrected,” Mrs. Oduwaiye narrated.

The blood test result, she added, was four days old. She argued that if the patient had been given fluids, they would have corrected the blood result.

The man, however, repeated the blood test the same day and was never reviewed.

“My father was left in the ward with no further interventions until 3 November 2015. The medical team are always reluctant to manage patients over the weekend for obvious reasons,” she said.

Mrs. Oduwaiye then got a call from her sister, who told her that her father was crying in pain. This, she said, made her more worried, as her father never cried; not even when his mother died.

This nudged her to call a friend to get the surgeon on call to review him, as she suspected that he might have developed further complications like perforated bowels, a life-threatening condition.

Frustration then crept in.

“I was later told that he had been given an injection and he was ‘stable’ although still crying in pain. At this point, I got frustrated as I could not help my father,” Mrs. Oduwaiye said.

What followed was that she was informed that they were preparing him for surgery the next afternoon, nine days after his admission, for intestinal obstruction with possible bowel perforation. Whatever hope Mrs. Oduwaiye had evaporated when she got a call the following day informing her that her father had died.

She immediately asked for an autopsy report to establish the cause of his death, a request she said the hospital staff tried to dissuade her from following through. But she insisted that she wanted an autopsy report and proceeded to pay for one.

Ten months after and despite paying, the hospital has refused to release the autopsy report, forcing her to contact three different lawyers to start a legal action.

That has brought no progress, as she said the lawyers were either intimidated by senior administrators of the hospital or bribed into submission.

The most recent hurdle in her path to legal action, Mrs. Oduwaiye said, was the claim that she is not a male child of the deceased, despite being solely responsible for her father’s care until his death.

“I am regarded as an inferior child because I am female. Why is the situation in Nigeria so impossible? Why is it impossible to get justice in the face of obvious injustice? Why is nobody doing anything about this? Why is everyone satisfied with the status quo? Why are people not crying out for help and why is it that the few of us that cry out never really get the help we seek?” she asked in frustration.

FCMB’s Flexx proposition is targeted at young people who are actively seeking platforms which allow them to express their uniqueness, while building skills for financial success.

A youth-centric banking product, Flexx is designed to meet the overall financial needs of young people within the age range of 18 and 25 years, where and how they want those needs met. This is summarized in the description of Flexx as “An app. A card. An account”, which gives account holders the freedom to bank on the go using the Flexx Mobile App, as well as access relevant lifestyle and skills-building content.

In addition, with their Flexx card, they can conveniently withdraw cash, make payments online and on Point-of-Sale machines and access exclusive discounts and freebies from Flexx partners.

This interesting departure from the common market offering gives the account holder full access to “flexx” (a popular expression which means to “show off”) and the opportunity to express a lifestyle that will be the envy of their peers who do not have Flexx accounts.
