Bride Beats Up Groom | Cancels Their Wedding After He Arrives Late. (Photo)

Beaten Groom

An angry Indian bride reportedly beat up her groom and called off their wedding after he turned up drunk to the ceremony and passed out on International Women’s Day.

Ranjeet Kumar Kamat blackened her would-be husband’s face with soot and threw a garland of shoes around his neck when he began calling out for beer during the wedding rituals, Gulf News India reports.

At the wedding venue, the bride and groom exchanged garlands. Once the ritual was over, the groom and his cousin went to a road nearby and drank alcohol. Both lost consciousness soon after.

Witnesses said finally when the groom was brought to the wedding to complete the wedding rituals, he kept calling for beer. Upon being refused, he began creating a ruckus and misbehaving with guests, much to the embarrassment of the bride’s family.

The bride, who had hereto been sitting calmly, lost her temper and in a fit of rage refused to marry the drunk groom. The groom’s cousin was also treated in same way. The groom and his relatives creating a ruckus were also locked in a room.

Reports said the groom’s family was allowed to go home only after they agreed to return the dowry they had taken.

Man Apprehended For Stealing Two Year Old Child Returning From School.

are-you-serious-wtf-meme-baby-face

Samuel Olabanji, 20-year-old has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing a two-year-old boy while the child was returning from an Arabic school on Tunkarimu Street, Ajegunle, Lagos.

The boy, Rokeeb Akinwale, was said to have gone to the school on February 25 in company with 10-year-old Shukra, a neigbour, who strapped him to her back while returning home around 6pm.

It was learnt by PUNCH Metro that Olabanji reportedly waylaid Shukra by the roadside and snatched the boy from her.

The abduction was said to have been reported at the Ajegunle Police Division the same day by Rokeeb’s mother, Mrs. Sadiat Akinwale, after searching for him to no avail.

The toddler had yet to be found as of Thursday when our correspondent spoke with the mother. On February 29, the suspects and three men were said to have returned to the area for another operation when he was caught while the others escaped.

It was learnt that a mob beat him up before the police came to his rescue. The police said Olabanji had confessed to the crime, adding that a manhunt had been launched for the fleeing members of the gang.

The suspect, who hails from Kwara State, told the police that he and his accomplices snatched a child from a girl and had stolen one other baby in the Ajegunle area earlier in February.

He said:

“I am a secondary school leaver. Presently, I don’t have any job. I am into kidnapping with Sunday, Bidemi and Tunde. We came to Ajegunle sometime in February and kidnapped two kids. We took them to one Rasheed, who lives in Ipaja Ayobo and he paid us for the children.

“On February 29, we came back to Ajegunle to steal another baby, but I was caught while others escaped.”

Rokeeb’s mother said she believed that her son would be protected at his captors’ den and be reunited safely with his family.

She said:

“That was not the first time Shukra would take him to the school. She said Rokeeb was crying when a man approached her. He took him from her back, claiming that he wanted to pacify him.

Before she knew, the man had disappeared. We have searched for him. I have faith in God that he will come back to us.”

Man Wrongfully Convicted of Murder, Set Free After 25 Years In Jail

 Zundu 14

Lord knows how many black people are languishing in jail for crimes they did not commit. Can you imagine how painful it is to spend your entire adulthood in prison only to be told ‘sorry, you’re not the criminal we’re looking for’?

An intellectually challenged man who spent 25 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit was exuberant Thursday as a Brooklyn court overturned his conviction and declared him a free man.

“I told y’all I didn’t do this,” an elated 49-year-old Andre Hatchett said inside Brooklyn Supreme Court after his wrongful conviction for a 1991 murder was thrown out.

I’m so happy to be free again. I lost my son, my mom and my dad while in here. I’m home again,” Hatchett said.

Zundu 12Hatchett’s lawyers said they’d found the murder case was tainted with a dubious star witness, prosecutorial mistakes that denied Hatchett key information and defense lawyers who failed him at not one but two trials.

Because I knew I didn’t do it, I knew I was going to be home one day,” a cheerful Hatchett, 49, said as he left court, pausing to hug relatives and hoist two grandchildren into his arms.

The murder victim had been found dead, naked, beaten and dragged into a cross-like position in a park.

And Hatchett had an instant connection to the crime: He was a friend who left her apartment with her that night.

Zundu 18

His 1991 case was among more than 100 often decades-old convictions that Brooklyn District Attorney Kenneth Thompson’s office has been revisiting in one of the most ambitious reviews of its kind nationwide.

So far, prosecutors have disavowed 19 convictions and are standing by 38 others.

Hatchett’s case, Assistant District Attorney Mark Hale said, was one of ‘systemic failure’.

Prosecutors’ star witness originally named another man as the killer, yet police and prosecutors then credited the witness when he picked Hatchett from a lineup.

Prosecutors never told Hatchett’s lawyers the witness had initially pointed to someone else.

Meet The 22-yr-old Lady Who Sees Celebrity Faces On Her KNEES

PIC FROM MERCURY PRESS (PICTURED: EMILY DALY, 22 WITH HER LEFT KNEE THAT LOOKS SIMILAR TO JAMES CORDEN AND HER RIGHT KNEE THAT IS THE SPITTING IMAGE OF NORTH KOREAN LEADER KIM JONG UN) An estate agent claims her KNEES look just like British comedy favourite JAMES CORDEN and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Emily Daly, 22, posed for a photo before a night out on Saturday and was blown away when she spotted her left knee bore an uncanny resemblance to the famous comedian. Emily, who is a big James Corden fan, said she is bursting with pride after her discovery, and would love for the comedian to see himself on her legs. On closer inspection she then found that her right knee looked like the face of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. SEE MERCURY COPY

A 22-year-old estate agent has claimed her knees are the spitting image of comedian James Corden and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

Emily Daly, spotted the similarities after posing for a photograph before a night out in Newport, south Wales, on Saturday.

She posted the picture on Facebook, where she said dozens of her friends agreed with her before also pointing out the politician’s famous face

Miss Daly has now revealed she is proud of the discovery, which she says is like having a ‘piece’ of the 37-year-old star, who is currently in America filming The Late Late Show, with her at all times.

Zundu 32
Speaking of the moment she realised Corden’s face was there, she said: ‘I was just getting ready to go on a night out with my friends in Newport and I asked my mum to take a quick photo of me.
‘I was wearing a short denim skirt and I looked at the photo and thought “wait a second, my left knee looks just like James Corden”.
‘You can clearly see the outline of his hair and the shape of his face. I’m not self-conscious about it – I feel really proud.
Her friends then pointed out her right knee’s resemblance to Jong-un, whose facial shape and haircut seem to be illustrated by the body part’s shadows and contours.

Husband In Shock As ‘Dead Wife’ Turns Up On TV Two Years After He Buried Her.

A grieving husband who believed he had buried his wife after she died in a road accident… was shocked when she popped up on a popular TV programme.

Abragh Mohamed held a funeral for his beloved wife after she was thought to have been killed in a crash. He was told by doctors in a Casablanca hospital that the woman, who hasn’t been named, had passed away from her “serious” injuries.

But she turned up on a TV programme designed to reconnect loved ones who have lost contact over the years. Two years after her ‘death‘, family members sat down to watch the popular Moroccan television series ‘Al Mujtafun (Desaparecidos)’ or ‘Al Mujtafun (Disappeared)‘.

It was then that Abragh’s “deceased” wife phoned in, saying she had lost contact with her husband and gave his name and former address.

The “widower” wasn’t watching the programme when she phoned in to trace him but friends were and they broke the shock news to him.

He told Spanish press:

“I did not know it was a different body that we buried and my wife was still alive.”

Questions are now being asked as to what went wrong in the first place, why the woman took two years to get in touch and where she had been.

She had lived in the small mountain town of Azilal. Her husband was told by the doctors that she probably wouldn’t survive but they needed the bill to be paid in any event.

He therefore travelled the four hours back to his home and when he returned with the cash, was told his wife had died.

Later, he received what he thought was her body, wrapped in a shroud and already in a coffin which he took back to Azilal for her burial.

The Road Lies In Wait By Reuben Abati

The Road Lies In Wait By Reuben Abati

“May we never walk when the road waits, famished” – Wole Soyinka, The Road

Two major road accidents in the last week brought to the fore again the dangers that lie in wait on Nigerian roads. The Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, James Ocholi, SAN, his wife and son lost their lives in a vehicle accident that occurred on the Kaduna- Abuja road, when their Lexus SUV vehicle somersaulted, following a burst tyre and the driver’s loss of control.
There was also the death on the Maiduguri-Damaturu road of Major-General Yasha’u Abubakar of the Training and Operations Department of the Nigerian Army. Both accidents have been a source of enormous grief, perhaps because of the status of the persons involved, but the truth is that Nigerian roads are treacherous and deceitful, marked as they are everyday, by a harvest of deaths and sorrow.

To report that the state of the roads is bad is to proclaim the notoriously obvious, and to say that more people die every minute on our roads is to iterate that the road in Nigeria is no respecter of persons or class. In its annual reports, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has tried to identify the primary and secondary causes of road accidents, and in the current Ocholi case, it has offered a preliminary report, which reinforces the notion about every death being in the long run, a revelatory comment on man’s existential crisis.

The regret is that the death that occurs on Nigerian roads, is more often than not, man-made, regretfully self-invited and for that reason, mostly avoidable. Anyone who has ever travelled on Nigerian roads would readily admit that going onto those roads is like taking a risk and no man can call himself safe until he returns home in one piece at the end of the day. Many of our roads are pothole-ridden, bumpy and poorly maintained. Before the ad hoc resurfacing of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway from the Lagos end, there were uneven portions, which always made it seem as if the road was struggling with the driver to seize control of the steering wheel.

One moment of distraction, you could find yourself careering off the road. From the Ibadan end of the Expressway, there were hidden, deep potholes. Many motorists found themselves suddenly landing into those potholes only to lose their tyres or lives. So bad is this dilemma that many motorists require prior knowledge of the state of the road to be able to drive on it; that knowledge means knowing where the potholes are at what point and where dangerous contours need to be avoided. Years of neglect and lack of maintenance have reproduced this pattern across the country. It takes repeated and costly accidents before the appropriate authorities would rush to mend the roads. And this is not just on the highways; even inner city roads are problematic. When it rains in most Nigerian towns and cities, life grinds to a halt, because the roads are transformed into streams, overflowing with water, due to poor drainage, and from struggling to turn the vehicle into a boat and avoid unseen potholes, the worst may happen. We are almost in that season again, and soon the stories will be told, of accidents caused by slippery, water-logged and dangerous roads.

This fact of administrative and official failure is an important footnote to the FRSC report in the Ocholi case which draws attention to the driver’s negligence, over-speeding, his criminal conduct -driving without a licence (but note that he is a government driver!- who on earth assigned him to drive an official vehicle without a licence (?) and then, the non-use of seat belt by the deceased persons, who in the event of the accident were flung out of the vehicle, in addition to the wrong orientation of the vehicle’s tyres. The revelations by the FRSC Investigation Team should serve as necessary warning to drivers, passengers, vehicle owners and all road users, indeed all of us. Too many Nigerian road users behave as if life has a duplicate. I have seen drivers who insist “Oga don’t worry”. When you remind them about speed limits, their standard response is “Oga don’t worry”. Every Oga who sits in the owner’s corner should worry. There is no guarantee that accidents won’t occur. Reckless driving is the bane of the Nigerian road.

Commercial drivers are drunk most of the time, or they are under some kind of influence including the metaphysical which induces them to tell you that the vehicle is covered by the “blood of Jesus”, or that ‘No weapon fashioned against them shall prosper.” The more traditional ones insist that they have killed a dog for Ogun, the god of iron and so, Ogun will not forsake his own. As the FRSC has indicated, there are thousands behind the wheels on Nigerian roads who have never bothered to undergo a driving test, and these include persons working as official drivers. There is also the problem of vehicle maintenance. Half of the vehicles on our roads are either not roadworthy or they are poorly maintained. Have you not heard the drivers who are fond of saying: “we can manage Oga; I fit manage am”. The tyres are worn out, the wheel balancing and alignment are bad, but the Nigerian driver will rather “manage”. Even when the brakes begin to fail, the natural response is to “manage.” We don’t “worry” enough about safety; we cut corners and procrastinate, when the vehicle gives warning signs, we ignore, when the road breaks down, we look the other way.

It is this mentality that has made many of the employed drivers corrupt. When you give them money to buy fuel, they short-change you; when the vehicle is to be taken for repairs, they undercut you; when anything goes wrong, they refuse to inform you until it is too late. And yet, there are too many big men in Nigeria relying on drivers and not paying enough attention. It is a sign of status and class, to employ a driver or to be assigned one, but very few big men and women bother to monitor the men into whose hands their lives are entrusted.

The point about seat belt deserves to be properly underlined. Following the accidents under reference, there has been much talk about the importance of seat belts. According to the FRSC, “the ejection of the minister and his son, who occupied the rear seat, confirmed the fact that their rear seat belts were not in use and on the contrary, the driver and the orderly survived because the front seat belts were in use”. It is sad that many big men don’t worry about using seat belts. It is considered too much of an effort for a man to own a vehicle, or be big enough to be driven by another, only for him to tie himself down in the back seat. The widespread assumption is that the space called owner’s corner is meant for sprawling; it is regarded as a place of comfort from where the master backs orders at the assistants in the front seat! This owner’s corner syndrome has caused the death of many “big men and women”, there must be a vigorous campaign launched at all levels by the FRSC, civil society groups and other agencies to remind everyone that it is better to be a big man or woman alive than to ignore a simple safety task and lose one’s life.

The FRSC is threatening to prosecute late Minister Ocholi’s driver as soon as he is discharged from the hospital. But the FRSC must see in this experience, further justification for it to be more vigilant and assertive with its vehicle accident prevention strategies. It must launch a fresh and vigorous campaign against reckless driving, set clear speed limits, acquire the relevant technology to determine the abuse of those limits and raise its organizational capacity to prevent motorists from willfully committing suicide or killing others, by apprehending the reckless and enforcing the relevant laws. This should include descending heavily on persons who use the phone while driving. I can’t count the number of times other motorists nearly drove into a vehicle or constituted pure nuisance, just because they are busy driving with one hand and using the other hand to wield a phone while chatting heartily as if they are in their living rooms. When you call such persons to order, they have no qualms telling you to get lost or mind your own business!

The FRSC used to have many volunteers, otherwise known as Special Marshals, who effected citizen arrest or helped to make the roads saner either by controlling traffic or checking the excesses of other motorists. That volunteer corps should be re-energized. And anyone who does not have a driver’s licence should be sanctioned. The current penalties appear cheap, and so motorists are tempted to do as they wish. Speed violation attracts only a fine of N3, 000, driving under the influence – N5, 000, vehicle license violation -N3, 000, driving without seat belt – N2, 000; use of phone while driving- N4, 000; only dangerous driving attracts a fine as high as N50, 000, but of course by the time that N50, 000 is paid, lives may have been lost! These fines and penalties should be reviewed. Nigerians often choose which laws to respect or not and damn the consequences, particularly if they can easily pay a fine and walk away.

The various tributes on late Minister Ocholi have been touching, the story is sad, and may the Lord grant him, his wife, and son, peaceful repose, but after all the tears have been shed and the tributes delivered, what must be done is not to walk away until another tragedy occurs, but to take concrete steps to prevent similar accidents in the future, especially for the sake of the many unknown victims who die daily on our roads, and whose tragedy is unreported and unmourned. At the level of policy and action, note this: the first step is to separate the all-important task of making our roads safe and motorable from corrosive, partisan politics, itself a principal stumbling block.

Prophet Challenges Lions To a Fight To Prove God’s Power and Almost Died

LOOL, How will you say you want to Fight Lion? When you’re not Daniel!

A Zion Christian Church prophet who was filled with the Holy Spirit and thought the Lord wanted to use him to show His power over animals, recently challenged a pride of lions to a duel in the Kruger National Park.

2 (5)

Pretoria based man of God, Prophet Alec Ndiwane was with members of of his church in the Kruger National Park where they had gone sightseeing when he suddenly went into a trance and started to speak in tongues. Ahead of them were the lions busy eating their impala.

Prophet Ndiwane must have thought he was the biblical Samsom or Daniel as he opened the car door and charged towards the lions. On seeing the man running towards them, the abandoned their food and ran towards the prophet.

Ndiwane immediately came to his senses when he saw the predators. He turned and ran for his life. But before he could safely reach the confines of the car, one lion had snapped its paws on him causing serious damage to his buttocks. He was saved by the game ranger who fired shots into the air with his gun to scare the lions away.

The injuries the prophet sustained was so severe that he had to be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

“I don’t know what came over me,” Prophet Ndiwane confessed,”I thought the Lord wanted to use me to show His power over animals. Is it not we were given dominion over all creatures of the earth?” he asked.

“My husband is Gay,” – Former Minister’s Daughter in-law, Christina Onwuliri Alleges

In what she describes as “A Hell Called Marriage In Onwuliri’s Home”, the embattled daughter in-law to former Minister of State for Education and later Foreign Affairs, Lady Viola Onwuliri has granted a detailed interview based on her experiences from marriage and domestic violence.

Christina Onwuliri (Nee Amaefula) who is married to the former Minister’s son, Chukwuemeka Osmond Onwuliri explains why her documents were seized, and to what really led to the detachment of her two daughters.

a (7)

Excerpt:

Most people are wondering why such issue became a public affair. Why?

Some people kept asking why this matter became a public affair. What would I have done when I tried all I could to hide this issue from my dad and close family members? There was nobody around my husband’s place that I didn’t talk to. Some were unable to speak. Some were scared to get into the matter because of his mother.  Some were looking out for an opportunity to cause more harm to our marriage. The one that pains me the most was when I took it to our marriage sponsor. I expected a better resolve towards it. At least when disagreement occurs in marriage, one would either try resolving it, or to even talk to a family member that understands. But here, I protected it from my family, to an extent that they will call to know what was happening, yet I will pretend to the very high level that nothing happened just to keep my home. When it ran out of hands with abuse after abuse, I went to see our marriage sponsor. He claimed to understand the whole situation, but later, I was disappointed to see him trying to seduce me. He promised to offer anything that will bring happiness to my life only if I will go to bed with him. What happiness? When my home is on fire? When I can’t even enjoy the joy of marriage? I felt highly disappointed and depressed. It was as if nobody was around for me. I could have called my family, but their option may not have been the best then, because the treatment I was getting is a total insult to them, especially to my dad.
When your family later knew of what you were passing through, what did they suggest or do?

When my dad later knew of what happened, he silently called my husband, asking him to secretly dissolve the marriage in Canada since it wasn’t working. And I knew why he told him that. He never wanted our problem to be at the public. He made that suggestion to save the image of my husband’s family, especially the mum who was serving as a Minister then. But, my husband didn’t oblige to it till when we returned to Nigeria.
What led to your return to Nigeria?

It was in one of the interferences of my mother in-law. She said that my husband is not obliged to keep me in Canada where we based or elsewhere in the world. And after this encounter with her, my husband told me we will be visiting Nigeria in February. I had no misgivings about it.
When we arrived to the family house in Owerri, I noticed the presence of a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Jude Onuoha, a serving Honourable member at the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Mike Iheanetu and few others that I don’t know their names. Later, I noticed that my husband picked up a bag and was leaving without prior information to me. Cautiously, I approached him to know where he was going, but to my greatest surprise, he violently pushed me into a room and locked me up.
At that point, I saw those men taking my children away without my consent. Then, I started screaming and was helpless but had no option than to start breaking the window panes in the room to get myself out. When they saw I was breaking the glasses, one of the drivers opened the door and I came out shouting for help, and then my children were nowhere to be found.
What exactly will you say made them to seize your papers?

You know I have dual citizenships. Through marriage, he came to Canada on Immigrant Status basis. They don’t want an immediate termination to all these benefits, and that’s why they are working so hard to paralyze from taking steps at least till their consultations. I have been used here. I have been humiliated. I have been traumatized. But I kept asking, is he not the same man that promised to love and cherish me as a wife? What went wrong? What did I do to him? Even if every other person fails to understand the challenges we faced as a family, why will his case be different? I have sacrificed everything to keep this marriage, yet, he kept frustrating my efforts with his actions. Is it when I die from domestic violence that I will be appreciated as a wife?
From the pictures released by your husband, one would be wondering how you went about to cause that number of damages. How true were those pictures?

When I saw them, I got surprised at it all. I wondered how it all happened. But no matter the circumstances, I like being truthful to myself first. One is that I told you I damaged the window pane to get myself out of the house when I got locked up. It’s self-defense. What surprised me most after all that happened were numbers of photos released. I saw areas I didn’t even visit. I saw damages beyond what I placed my hands on. I never did all that. Heaven knows, I didn’t. It was their own buildup to make their claims look real and strong. Besides, how could they have allowed me to cause that number of damage when they were all around? They are out to destroy me and the image of my family. I never did all that.
He even accused you of being mad?

You read it! And we are here now, at least you asked for this very interview probably to hear from me and to observe if I’m mad as he claims. You are now in a better position to read his lines of accusation one after the other, and then refute them yourself based on the true fact you’ve seen. I am not mad. I never suffered from madness. And I will not suffer from one. Remember, this is a man who came and asked for my hand in marriage. Traditionally you know what it is to enquire about somebody you want to marry, and which after being satisfied with it all, you boldly go on to ask for the person’s hand in marriage. He did all that, and we also did ours. We are not here to accuse anybody of anything in the past we saw before going into our marriage agreement. But why are they accusing me and my family wrongly? What is our offence? They took away my little daughters. They took away my traveling documents, passports and academic certificates. What for?
He claims that his late father gave your dad his job as a lecturer. How true is it?

No single truth around it at all. They did nothing. Even when his mum took my credentials to get me a job, what happened? She kept misplacing them. Whether she was saying the truth or not, I can’t tell. But I know she never took anything about me serious because she hated me. I’ve been called to represent my husband at most family meetings, but she will walk me out saying I’m not a member of her family. Or is it the one that concerns my family? The only time she visited my father’s house was during the traditional wedding where she spent just four hours and left. Since then, she has not visited again. We even had issue of who visits our home from my father’s family house. They enlisted names of people they would want to come to the house or not to come. When I questioned that, they said they never wanted my people to finish their money. What money? These were people coming to visit their sister and daughter who left home for marriage.
In Port Harcourt as well, whenever his mum will be visiting us, she will come with her own food in a flask. At a point, he told the son that whenever she will be coming to Port Harcourt and finds out he is not at home that she will not stopover. What did I not pass through? I passed through hell in their hands.
Please, don’t forget, my dad got employed as a lecturer in 2006, and then we’ve not met any member of their family before. Remember, we met around 2011. And till this time, I’m yet to find out how they gave my dad his job.
When did the attitude of your mother in-law changed towards you?

She never had it comfortable being with me as the son’s wife. I noticed it, even as I stood not to accept the marriage, but then, my husband was so desperate to get me into the family. Even when I confronted him over the mum’s discomfort towards me, he would cover it up with words like I’m getting married to him not his mum. And then, I would wonder what I was coming into the family to do when I can’t see his mother as my own my mother. But something solidified my position of acceptance. His late father did. The late Prof stood against all wrongs in the family that we were all afraid to dare his principles. Well respected man with great values, he gave me all confidence to be a member of his family. But when I went through abuse, depression and rejection, he was nowhere around to stand by me. He was nowhere to consolidate on his words to me and to my family. I think his death caused the biggest damage.
What further happened after the death of Professor Celestine Onwuliri?

My mother in-law took over everything by becoming a mini-god. She decides who stays and goes. I couldn’t even suggest what my husband could listen to. Even all advises ended up in the mother’s ear. It was as if I had no confider again. At slight issues, he would raise his hands and will beat me like a common criminal. Between 2011 and 2014, while I was living in Port Harcourt with my husband, he physically and mentally abused me. For example, when arguments concerning on way forward in the marriage, he gets infuriated and physically beats me and locks me up in the toilet for as long as he wishes. I will cry and cry, but tears will dry without anyone consoling me.
Do you think your husband cheated on you?

It depends on the type of cheating. If you mean the kind of cheating that involved him with another woman, I wouldn’t know. And I can’t accuse him wrongly. But if it’s based on the fact that he masturbated while in my presence, and even as he moves with some male friends as if they were dating, I think I will agree to it.
Masturbated in your presence?

Of course, he did. It irritated me so much that I didn’t know what to do. I felt a time why he would engage into such. I mean, I’m his wife and he had me around. What stopped him from taking me to bed to catch some relieve of whatsoever? He would just be masturbating, while I will be there crying. Most times he would travel after my mum would have sent sum money for my up-keep and that of the family, but he will disappear with it only to return looking so weak. The truth is that he is a gay. He lied to his mum just to stay overseas, because he knew that’s where he can only stay to indulge in such habits. While in Canada, he was bringing men to our home, even as he would sleep with them on our matrimonial bed.
Why was your mum sending money for the family’s up-keep?

You know my husband lost his job at Schlumberger, and his papers were stamped unemployable. Since then, we have tried getting another job for him but no way. Even his mum who was a Minister could not get him a job. At least to tell you how serious it was.
Why did he slap the French woman?

He said he can’t work under a woman. And at slight times, he would brag of his mum being a Minister. He even said that if the French woman tries misbehaving that the mum will use her contacts against her. When he lost his job, I wondered why his mum couldn’t save the situation again.

How To Handle A Tyre Burst While Driving – FRSC.

Ocholi Car Crash

In line with the reports of the recent death of Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, his wife and his son, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has disclosed tips drivers should adhere by in the situation of a burst tyre while driving.

The tips are listed as follows:

STEPS 1: Start with maintaining a safe driving speed; there are just no two sides to this. The lower your speed, the higher your chance of survival. A blowout at 80–90 km/h (50–56 mph) will be far less dramatic than one at 140–150 km/h (87–93 mph). Indeed, if you survive a tyre burst at 150 km/h (93 mph), consider it a gift of God.

STEP 2: Do not slam on the brake pedal. Of course, this is easier said than done, as our brains are hardwired to instinctively jam the brake pedal in an emergency. Hard braking is actually the worst thing you can do as it will further imbalance the vehicle and throw it out of control.

STEP 3: Don’t abruptly take your foot off the accelerator. Do it slowly and gradually. In fact, Michelin recommends that you maintain accelerator input momentarily, before releasing it slowly. The deceleration force from a blown tyre is so strong that your car will anyway slow down rapidly. If you have engaged cruise control, be sure to disengage it immediately.

STEP 4: Try your best to keep the vehicle pointed straight. Cornering or turning with a blown tyre will greatly upset the car’s composure. If your car is pulling to one side, you might need to pull the steering in the opposite direction to keep it going straight. This is critical, else you risk drifting into the road divider or worse still, the opposite lane.

STEP 5: Do not attempt to over-correct. The key is to maintain the vehicle’s stability. A sharp yank of the steering wheel can result in a rollover. Even when you have gained control and are slowly moving to a safe parking spot, do so with the mildest steering inputs possible.

STEPS 6: Allow the vehicle to gradually coast to a stop. Use engine braking if necessary. Lightly engage the brakes only when your car has decelerated to a slow speed. Use the turn indicators and pull over safely off the road. Drive on the bare metal wheel if you have to, but do not stop in the middle of the road as you run the risk of getting rear-ended by a speeding car. Remember to activate your hazard lights when stopped.

50 Cent Quits Instagram

50 Cent Quits Instagram

50 Cent is leaving Instagram, or has left already. Hours ago, the rap guru took to the social media platform to slam the U.S. Courts following his claim that the dollar stacks he posted were fake.

Recall that the G-Unit rapper was summoned by a U.S. bankruptcy court judge who believes he is dishonest with his claim of being bankrupt when his IG page is filled with photos of himself surrounded by cash.

In court, the rapper’s lawyer claimed that the cash displayed were simply Prop Money – fake cash used mostly in music videos and films, that he was simply showing off as part of social media marketing.

But the case could sink the rapper, Billboard reports, because there are rules about showing off fake money to avoid counterfeit issues.

The law does not specify if it is acceptable to share fake money on social media, but it states clearly that the size of the money and the colour must be different from real cash.

And so, if 50 Cent did not follow the rules in displaying his prop money, he could be in trouble with the U.S. Secret Service.

50 Cent reveals that he has been contacted by the U.S. Secret Service over this, and the rapper appears to be deeply upset by this. On Instagram, he shared lots of photos he said the U.S. courts are comfortable with while blasting them. Then came the big announcement: that he is leaving Instagram.

FRSC Confirms That Mr. James Ocholi And His Family Were Murdered

James Ocholi

Early reports from the preliminary road traffic investigation into the accident that killed the Late Minister of State for Labour, Mr. James Ocholi (SAN), his wife and son has brought up curious and indicting revelations.

The Corp Marshal of the Federal Roads Safety Commssion (FRSC), Mr. Boboye Oyeyemi who led the investigation team, told the Federal Executive Council that besides the reports that alleged the driver to be over-speeding, they found out that the Dunlop tyres on the sports utility vehicle (SUV) were wrongly attached to the rim inwardly instead of outwardly.

He noted that the Tyres were far from expired.

He added that the vehicle was without a communication link with the minister’s pilot vehicle occupants who tried desperately to communicate with the minister’s driver through his phone to reduce his speed.

Oyeyemi, who gave details of the investigations, said the driver who had driven at high speed lost control when the rear tyre of the vehicle they were travelling in burst on the Kaduna-Abuja expressway, about 180 kilometres from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The investigation came after a call for an investigation into what has been described as a conspiratorial event by the uncle to late Minister.

He said that the front seat passengers who had seat belts survived and said it was unlikely the Late Minister and his family at the back seat used seat belts.

He said the drivers details were not registered on the FRSC database as licenced drivers.

He called onPresident Muhammadu Buhari to lead the campaign on road safety.

The Federal Government has announced March 18 for the burial of the late minister.
