Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, has taken to social media to express her concern about his whereabouts.
This comes after she locked him outside their home at night as a way to teach him a lesson.
Judy had previously shared a video on social media showing her and Yul having an argument because he returned home very late.
In the video, Judy, visibly enraged, refused to let her husband enter their home until he provided a reason for his late arrival.
However, it seems that after Yul’s plea to be let in fell on deaf ears, he left without informing her of his whereabouts and has refused to answer her calls.
In an updated post, Judy has now turned to social media to cry out about his disappearance.
According to her, she hasn’t seen her husband since their last argument where she locked him out, and all her efforts to contact him have been unsuccessful.
She claimed to have checked everywhere, including his friends’ houses, but he is nowhere to be found.
Deeply concerned and tearful, Judy pleaded with her well-meaning fans and followers to help find her beloved husband.
She admitted to having gone too far by locking him out and begged him to come back home.
Nigerian Actor-cum-entrepreneur, artiste, and founder of Blaqk Stereo Music Group (BSMG), Hawwal Ogungbadero; and a host of other 29 artistes have set a new record in the music industry by winning the longest recording marathon for 40 hours 19 minutes, which earned them to join the hall of fame of the Guinness World Record.
Even though he didn’t have the fanfare that trailed Ms Baci’s attempt, a Nigerian artiste and founder of Blaqk Stereo Music Group (BSMG), Hawwal Ogungbadero, alongside 29 other artistes, are Guinness Record holders.
In a bid to create a platform to help young artistes explore their creativities, the musician organised the longest recording marathon event on 25 June 2022.
The recording session, held at the Sambol Production Studio in Lagos, saw Hawwal, alongside his team, feature on multiple music instrumentals non-stop for 40 hours and 19 minutes.
Making the announcement on his Instagram handle on Monday May 29th 2023, Hawwal shared pictures of himself and the team holding their titles. He expressed his gratitude to his team and sponsor, adding that the journey was difficult, but they came through in the end.
The actor said the attempt aimed to promote Nigerian artistes and amplify their talents through a world-renowned platform such as the Guinness world records.
His caption read, “It is verified, signed, and sealed. I am grateful to God Almighty for this privilege to be a positive force of change and growth in my generation. I’m grateful to the blockchain comp—@near protocol for providing a huge portion of the funds we needed to execute the project. Even though the part was self-funded, we made it despite the difficult times. It could only be God.
“40hrs 19 minutes no be beans. Special thanks to all the amazing music artistes that came through to make this happen. This is just the beginning of your great stories.”
In another post, the artiste tagged the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to inform him of their record-breaking feat, the longest recording marathon with multiple artistes.
However, He requested to bring the titles to the State House for a picture.
Other BSMG artists that participated in the marathon include: Otegbayo Timi (Timi Phoenix), Victor Oluwafemi (Lordveejay); Komiti Obakpororo; Nwaizu Emmanuel (emrysmanuel); Aghughu Eraze (Testii); Olatunji Jayesimi (D’spirit); Oyeyemi Olaide (Skechy wonder); Abdulkareem Adama (ABK tha emperor); Balogun Alaba (Alabama); Gideon Ene (Cobby); Egbulugha Chinedu (Scotty); and Oluwole Temitope (Enzzyboi).

Findings by PREMIUM TIMES to confirm Hawwal’s new record title showed that he was celebrated and recognised on Guinness World Records’ official website.
The article read, “The longest recording marathon with multiple artistes is 40 hr 19 min, achieved by Hawwal Emmanuel Olanrewaju Ogungbadero and (BSMG) Blaqk Stereo music group (all Nigerians) in Lagos, Nigeria, on 25 June 2022.
“Emmanuel hosted the event to support local artists from within his community and to give them a platform to express their creativity. Fifteen different artists performed throughout the attempt.”
It is unclear if the record was previously held as there is no mention on the official Guinness Record Site. However, the closest would be Kumar Sanu, an Indian who has held the Guinness Book of world records since 1993 for recording the maximum number of songs in a day.

A concerned Kenyan lady has expressed her frustration with the Kenyan government and police for what she believes to be persistent harassment of Nigerian men.
She revealed that she is married to a Nigerian and that several of her Kenyan acquaintances are expecting children with Nigerian partners.
These women, however, find it difficult to have steady relationships with their men because of the frequent arrests and deportations made by the Kenyan police force.
Despite their fathers’ eagerness to provide for and take care of them, many Nigerian children in Kenya experience the unpleasant result of growing up without fathers.
She also bemoans the demise of the “Ashewo” industry in Kenya as a result of Kenyan government actions against Nigerian men, who were renowned for lavishly spending on their companions.
In her words;
“Hi Guys, I think this is the right time to go out as Kenyans. Let us be fair. See I wasn’t born in Nigeria but marriage met me and Nigerian citizen and let me tell you something, So many of my friends are heavily pregnant no with Nigerian children and so many of my friends are single mothers.
Because why?! Police brutality, discrimination against Nigerians. The Nigerians are afraid because they want a relationship with you but they are afraid to marry you. What country will restrict them and they will come and marry us?
Our kids are Nigerians and they are fatherless, not because the father doesn’t want to be in their lives but because Kenya has used bribes to pursue the father.
Now, we just match, customers are running away, ashewo business is no longer booming, we are not seeing man because our customers are afraid to come out.”
Popular Nollywood actress, Bayray McNwizu, has stated that making the first move in a love relationship is perfectly acceptable for women.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, she stated this while urging more women to express interest in the men they like without becoming desperate.
The screen diva emphasized that women must be forthright about their goals since there are situations when a man may not notice the clues a lady is giving out about her intentions.
She said;
“There are pros and cons when it comes to women ‘shooting their shots.’ If one does not want to waste one’s time, just find out what is working. It is always about knowing where to apply the gauge, knowing when to proceed, how fast to move and when to stop. These things are so important. If one likes somebody as a woman, know how to proceed and know how fast one can take action.
Also, know when to stop because one cannot afford to look desperate. A woman needs to have a healthy self-concept about herself and know that she is a queen. If a woman wants to be in a man’s life, that woman has to bring a lot of value to the table. If the man cannot see that, then the woman should help him. If the man is interested, he will chase the woman. If he is not, then the both the man and the woman can settle for friendship. It’s even more valuable to have friendships that can blossom into other things as opposed to immediate romantic relationships.”
Nollywood actor, Sylvester Madu, has broken his silence over a video of him that recently made the rounds online.
The thespian recently trended on social media after a video of him selling second-hand items, popularly known as Okrika, at a market in Enugu was shared online.
It appeared Madu had no idea he was being filmed by the individual who posted the clip on social media.
The video quickly went viral after it was shared, sparking a barrage of reactions from fans who expressed concern for the actor.
However, some people didn’t see anything wrong in the video as they opined that there was nothing wrong with the actor having a legitimate side hustle alongside his acting career.
Reacting, Sylvester, during a live session on social media, lambasted those mocking him. According to him, they were hoping to taunt him, but it did not work.
He added that people should appreciate it when they see others hustling instead of trolling on social media.
“You stay on your keypad writing rubbish, they are just crazy. Bad market has caught them. That thing they think would be news, let me make it news by myself, very foolish people. A person is doing his hustle, instead of appreciating it, you begin to write nonsense.”He said.
An unbothered Madu went on to show off other items such as furniture, generators, laptops, shoes, bags, and clothes that were on sale.
“Let me go around, this is my business empire. Take a look, we have many things we sell. This is a big combined business, see all the stuff we have, it’s plenty. We have laptops, we have generators.”He said.
A woman who claims to be the biological mother of Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has taken to social media to share her story and narrate how she lost her children.
She described how she had three children with a Nigerian from Kogi state after being married to him. She was expecting her fourth child when her mother from Cameroon arrived to notify her about her critically ill father’s wish to meet his grandkids before dying.
Mercy Johnson and her older brother Martin Ngei were left with their father and a woman when her husband instructed her to go with only the last kid and for more than 30 years, she has been traveling to and from Nigeria in an attempt to locate her children.
She asserts that when Mercy was eventually located, the actress requested a DNA test to support her claim and she met Mercy’s husband, Prince Okojie, at the hospital.
She stated that Mercy’s husband claimed not to know her and that she was not the person he paid his wife’s bride price to.
She assured him that her purpose in being there was not to take his wife from him. Prince Okojie consented to foot the fee for the DNA test but instructed her to handle her own expenses.
This made the woman feel bad since she had used all of her money to travel to Nigeria.
She revealed that she had been able to make ends meet on her own for so long, she wasn’t pursuing Mercy’s money.
She also disclosed that Mercy was born in 1982 and that her birth name is Ngei Magdalene. She is ready to submit to the DNA test.
Mercy had invited her to Nigeria, but she has been struggling to survive as she has no home here.
“I gave birth to her at a private hospital in Benue state. She is aware that I am her biological mother and she knows that Mercy Johnson is not her real name. In fact when I came to Nigeria she asked me what’s my real name and I told her,” she said in part.

In her words,
“He (Portable) has done many things for me, but what stands out the most is the care and support he gives me. I am not here for the material things. I have produced movies and made my millions before meeting him. I have been a self-sponsored student even before I met him. I have been carrying responsibilities way back.
“We have introduced our families and hope to get married soon. I am an entertainer, and I have thought about getting married to him properly.”
“I did not get pregnant by mistake. It was planned, and I do not expect to have issues with any of his wives or other baby mamas. I see some comments that I want to snatch Portable, but I am not here to snatch anyone. I am just a shareholder, and I cannot take care of him alone because I have my career and child. I also want to work more and be famous.”
Ashabi Simple also spoke on the singer’s personality outside of the stage, highlighting that contrary to popular belief, the Zazu Zeh star is a composed and compassionate individual.
“One cannot judge his personality from his performance because that is what he does for a living, and he has to put in his best and energy. As my man, he has always been calm and caring. He is always available when I want to talk to him, and he is a great listener. Those are some of the things I like the most about him.” She said.

Sola Ogungbe, a 41-year-old manager at SEAP Micro-Finance Bank Saki, has tragically taken his own life at his residence in Iseyin town, Oyo State.
According to The Nation, Ogungbe committed suicide on Wednesday, June 14, after some customers failed to pay back the N1 million loan he had facilitated for them.
A colleague of the deceased was said to have contacted Ogungbe’s wife on Wednesday afternoon after he failed to show up at work over the loan default crisis.
When she got home that evening to inform her husband about the call, she reportedly met his corpse.
A close friend of the deceased, who pleaded anonymity, said it is regrettable that the deceased chose to end his own life instead of seeking help from his friends.
“The issue of suicide is becoming alarming, Sola made a great mistake by taking his own life because of debt, if he had shared this issue with his friends, maybe somebody would have come to his aid,” he said.
“Everyone is going through one thing or the other but our survival is anchored upon a communal living and friendship, tell people about your issues, you don’t even know who can help you.”

She said that the personnel treated them poorly and made them feel unimportant, which brought her to tears.
She tweeted;
“Yesterday, I was at Nigeria House in New York with my family to get our passports.
If I write about my experience, it will go viral. How they talked us down, treated us like we don’t matter, the inconsistencies in their processes, late arrivals of employees, lack of empathy and I was moved to tears.
Let it be known that when diasporans try to stay patriotic to our country Nigeria, the systems kept making it difficult for us. We shouldn’t have to cry or plan to bribe or know that the system will not work. Why? No, I didn’t call anyone I knew to help me. I wanted to experience this like I didn’t know anyone and I am still in disbelief.
Yes I want to write nice things about my country but when things aren’t working, it is also our responsibility to say it. I started asking myself why I wanted to renew this passport and why I wanted it for my child. That’s how much they humiliated us. Someone needs to look into the structures and systems running in our Nigeria embassies around the world, it needs to be looked at.
Before leaving, I told them if I am pushed I will make sure to bring this to twitter and ensure the government knows what that are doing.”

But if it was in Nigeria, five different people’s husbands would’ve stopped on the road on this hot summer day like this and said, ‘Aunty, are you not hot? Are you not going my way? But look at me walking…oh no! I’m going back to Nigeria,” she said.

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has announced that it has initiated a preliminary investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of veteran actor Don Brymo Uchegbu.
Don Brymo Uchegbu passed away on Thursday, June 15, and there have been conflicting reports about the cause of his death.
While some claimed that he died in his sleep, others allege that he collapsed while shooting a film in Ahoada, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
However, in a statement signed by Ejezie Emeka Rollas, MON, the National President of the AGN, the guild clarified that preliminary investigations indicate that he did not die on any movie set.
The statement read,
“The Actors Guild of Nigeria was thrown into another state of grief following the sudden demise of Don Brymo who was reported to have slumped on a film set in Rivers State and later passed on. This tragic death came as a rude shock and has thrown the entire Guild into another grieving moment as we mourn his death. I have taken reports from all the actors on the set with him and found out that he didn’t collapse on set as widely speculated.
While I commiserate with his immediate family, we have commenced preliminary investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, especially from the hospital where he was rushed to.
This has also proven further credence to our incessant clarion calls on members to sign up for the AGN health management (HMO) plans to help put their health in check constantly.
I and the entire members of the Guild are saddened by this tragic development of a death that could have been possibly avoided if urgent intervention was provided. May Don Brymo’s soul rest in peace and may God comfort all of us left behind to mourn him. We shall keep members abreast with the latest information and updates from the family.”

Dr. Baffa Bichi, Secretary to the Kano State Government (SSG), has explained why the symbolic Tumbin Giwa roundabout at Kano Government House was demolished.
News made rounds earlier that the roundabout was demolished in the wee hours of Wednesday, June 14, as part of the new government’s mission to demolish “illegal” structures that were tampering with the state’s masterplan.
During a radio interview, Bichi revealed that the roundabout was taken down because of the presence of a Christian cross which contradicts the teachings of Islam.
He said;
“If you take a drone to take the picture from the top, you will see a cross. In Kano, you cannot do that. Not only that it is in Kano, but in the Government House roundabout. This is against our norms and values and also against the teachings of Islam.
“Another reason is that the roundabout is blocking people from seeing others from different directions. That is causing holdup and accidents along Government House road. This is not a wise decision.
“Secondly, the Hotoro interchange flyover is also carrying a big cross. We have to look at that too. This means if you are viewing Kano from the top using a drone, you will see two big crosses. That of the Government House and the flyover. We will not let that be.”
Speaking on the demolition exercise carried out in other parts of Kano, Bichi added,
“How can you build shops inside mosques and residential area? This is wrong and that is what we are trying to address. That is why we ask everyone from the places that are wrongly built to remove their belongings. We gave notice severally, even before swearing in.”
Regarding the question of compensation, the SSG urged the victims to claim their money from the people who defrauded them.
A video of a woman confessing in church to having kidnapped children from their parents and selling them has caused a huge stir online.
Apparently, the woman had just given her life to Christ and was renouncing her wicked ways. Before the congregation, she confessed to the criminal dealings she had been involved in before encountering Christ.
According to her, she has sold five of her own six children and thirty others whom she kidnapped for money.
She revealed that the least amount she made per child was N400K, and she is clueless about what the kids she hands over to her contractors are used for.
When asked how she gets the children, she stated that she attracts them with candy and biscuits, kidnaps them, and then sells them to her customers.
As she made her confession, the congregation let out a loud scream.
The video has since gone viral and stirred reactions from social media users calling for her to be brought to book.
Reacting, an Instagram user wrote, “I don’t care if she’s confessing or not, she should go to jail. Even that child she’s carrying should be taken away from her ”.
Another user @Kachi added, “Even if she gives her life to christ… make them arrest her… she can win souls for christ in prison.”
