YBNL singer, Adekunle Gold, has finally aired his view about the drama which played out between Olamide and Don Jazzy, during the just concluded Headies Award in Lagos.
The singer, while speaking with Ebuka on Rubbing Minds, stated that Olamide was only angry because they had planned how they were going to make merry together if himself, Olamide and Lil Kesh won the various awards.
He added that Olamide was fighting for each member of his crew and not for personal benefit.
In his words, “I guess what happened is that we expected Lil Kesh to win, all of us. So, when they called another name, it took us by surprise – to be honest – because we were all going on about what we will do when he wins, the party we would throw. It was supposed to be Olamide, me and Lil Kesh.It was very saddening, to be honest, so, Olamide got on stage and stood up for one of us.”

So what do you think, is the photo overly filtered or it just make up.?
Adama Indimi, one of the daughter of oil tycoon, Ahmed Indimi is a very pretty lady as she shared this photo of her look to her brother’s wedding this weekend.
An intimate photo shows the moment a couple embrace for the first time after a horrific car crash and has melted hearts of thousands of well-wishers online.
Arika Stovall and Hunter Hanks, both 21, from Nashville, Tennessee, survived a crash after Hunter’s truck veered off the road and slammed into a bridge on New Years Day.
The touching picture of the two taken by a friend and posted to Facebook has now been shared over 77,000 times on Facebook.
Arika said in her Facebook post:
“I’m overwhelmed at how little damage was done to Hunter and I in a wreck that should have chopped our bodies in half,” “When we were both lying in our beds in the ER he (Hanks) found a way to come protect my heart and give me a hug.”
A close friend of the couple Savannah Gaines, who snapped the touching moment, told CNN:
“It was unbelievable when they saw each other. “I know them so well, and they love each other so much. They were completely blessed to walk away from that.”
Arika also says that in the dark moments after the life-changing crash she was visited by a “guardian angel” she described as a man bright with a big white beard.
“I jumped out of the car, ran over to Hunters side and just looked at this man,’ she wrote.
“From that moment until Hunter was cut & lifted out of the truck I believe with my whole heart that looking at this man helped me to literally believe in that moment that Hunter was next to me on the road.
“I don’t know if it was a hallucination or me unconsciously dreaming or a glimpse of heaven…but all I knew in that moment was that Hunter was safe with me.
“This man..looking at him for a short moment..helped me not witness Hunter being peeled out of the truck. I believe if I saw that I would have had a heart attack.”
Human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), has criticized head of states, president Muhammadu Buhari over the rearrest of immediate past National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.), and the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
In a statement on Sunday, the lawyer claimed that there was no legal justification for the re-arrest of the Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, after they were granted bails by different courts.
Falana said:
For 16 years that the Peoples Democratic Party was in power, the federal government exhibited total contempt for the Rule of Law. The Constitution and other laws were breached with impunity while court orders were disobeyed on a regular basis. In the famous case of Attorney-General of Lagos State v Attorney-General of the Federation (2005) 2 WRN 1 at 150 the Supreme Court held that “In our democracy all the Governments of this country as well as organizations and individuals must kowtow to the due process and this they can vindicate by resorting to the courts for redress in the event of any grievance.”
One of the reasons why Nigerians voted for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) during the last general election was his promise to fight corruption and end impunity in the country. Upon winning the election, President Buhari further pledged to abide by the Rule of Law. To that extent, he has a duty to ensure that all organs and officials of the Government operate within the ambit of the law. In particular, he should not allow overzealous security personnel to engage in any form of impunity and thereby expose the Government to unwarranted embarrassment.
In July last year, the State Security Service (SSS) searched the private residence of former NSA, Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd) at Abuja. When Col Dasuki alleged that his house was illegally searched, I pointed out that the action of the SSS was justified as there was a search warrant validly issued by a magistrate court in the federal capital territory that authorised the search. He was eventually charged with money laundering and criminal diversion of huge sums of public fund before the Federal High Court and the Federal Capital Territory High Court at Abuja. Notwithstanding the gravity of the offences, both courts have admitted him to bail. But after he had met the bail conditions the SSS decided to rearrest him at the gate of Kuje prisons on the ground that investigations have not been concluded in respect of other criminal allegations.
The decision of the SSS to ignore the order admitting Col Dasuki to bail coupled with the failure to re-arraign him on fresh charges is tantamount to impunity in every material respect. If the federal government were aggrieved by the order admitting Col. Dasuki to bail it should have challenged it in the Court of Appeal. Much as the Nigerian people are fully behind the Buhari Administration in the patriotic move to recover the looted wealth of the nation, the federal government should be advised to ensure that the procedure for the loot recovery meets the tenets of the rule of law. The SSS and other security agencies should therefore refrain from allowing corruption to fight back by playing into the hands of the criminal suspects who have committed crimes against humanity by diverting money earmarked for the procurement of arms and armament to fight the terrorists.
In the same vein, the order admitting the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, to bail should also be complied with. If the federal government has other charges against both suspects it should file them in the court. There is no provision for keeping criminal suspects at the pleasure of security officials. Meanwhile, all valid and subsisting orders made by courts in favour of criminal suspects should be obeyed without further delay.
To ensure that suspects are no longer held in custody in any part of Nigeria without any legal justification section 34 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act has imposed a duty on each the Chief Judges to designate a Chief Magistrate and a Judge of the High Court to visit all police stations and other detention centres within their jurisdiction, at least once a month. During such visits, appropriate directives shall be given while any officer who detains any person illegally will be sanctioned.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Governor Seriake Dickson of the Peoples Democratic Party, winner of the controversial Bayelsa State governorship election.
The victor polled 134,998 votes, 48,146 votes more than his closest rival, former Governor, Timipre Sylva of the All Progessives Congress.
Returning Officer of the election, Zana Akpagbu said:
He said that:
“Dickson Henry Seriake of PDP having satisfied the requirement of the law and secured the highest number of votes is hereby declared winner of the election.”
The Lagos metropolitan Police have reportedly apprehended a man, identified as Ifeanyi Okpoko, after he allegedly shot an estate agent, Kazeem Opagun, who came to work on his ex-wife’s property in the Ajao Estate area of the state.
According to PUNCH, Okpoko shot the agent, when the latter and another colleague, identified as Lanre Aromasodu, asked Ifeanyi to produce the landed property documents when he met them on the site.
It was discovered that the agent was hospitalized for three days.
It was also gathered that Ifeanyi and his former wife had had issues on the parcel of land since they divorced, and there had been threats from both parties.
Two estate agents had gone to the site last Tuesday, at about 12pm, to work on the land. The estate agents were said to have been accompanied by two policemen from the Zone 2 Command, Onikan, who were not in uniform because of the threats on the land.
While the agents were on the property located on Alhaji Lukman Atobajeun Street in Ajao Estate, Okpoko drove to the scene and allegedly demanded to know the mission of the men.
The agents were said to have asked Okpoko to produce the documents of the land, after which he allegedly went to his car, brought out a gun and shot at the estate agents, injuring Opagun in the leg.
The policemen arrested Okpoko and took him to the Ajao Estate Police Division, before taking him to Zone 2. Speaking exclusively to the publication, Aromasodu said Okpoko allegedly shot his colleague, saying they did not have the authority to work on his ex-wife’s property.
He said:
“We went to the site at about 12pm. We were contracted by Mr. Ifeanyi’s ex-wife. He met us on the site and was enraged. We asked him to produce the documents if he was the owner. Instead, he brought out a rifle.
“I was his target. I was the one who told him to produce his documents. The policemen with us also showed him their identity cards. He said we did not have the authority to work on his ex-wife’s property; he shot my partner in the leg.”
Another witness, who declined identification, said Okpoko had gone to the Ajao Estate Police Division to make a report, when the policemen from Zone 2 arrested him.
He said:
“The suspect thought somebody was trespassing on a property that belonged to his wife. He brought out a gun instead of land documents and shot the estate agent in the legs.
“Mr. Okpoko ran inside his car and headed for the police station, where the police from Zone 2, who witnessed the shooting, arrested him.
“A threat to life had already been reported to Zone 2. That was why the policemen came with the estate agents.”
The publication gathered that the police had yet to recover the gun allegedly used by Okpoko.
The Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Adebowale Lawal, said on Sunday that he would verify and get back to the publication on Monday (today).
Definitely, when you see stuffs like these, you know that you don’t need a D.N.A test for proof and all. It’s apparently glaring that the stunning child got her looks from her dad.
“So lately, iv heard a few friends say stuff like “mehn im looking for a girlfriend so im going out more / do u have a babe for me? / oh im looking for this type of guy / some even sliding into random dms based on pictures on IG etc” All well and good but you are more or less running in circles to end up where u are now in time again.
We often forget that soulmates are blessings. Most people in my generation are starting to Panic at the realization of being single in this day and age but heres the thing, do u want to date (someone incompatible) based on looks or body type only to end up single again? Or do u want to find what is compatible with your heart and build a future with? This is the starting point of the journey… Deciding “WHAT” direction u are going.. Ill say tho its 2016 and we should all have had enough PLAY time by now! The turn down for what era should be behind you at this point in life otherwise you’re just not ready for reality.
Whats yours is yours and the only way to reach your destiny and your soul mate is to Listen to the direction God has for your life. He knows who is ment for you, he created both of you therefore YOU CAN NEVER know better than him.
We all need to WORK on our selves, OUR lives, OUR bad habits, our Morals, OUR self control and Most importantly Our spiritual life and Relationship With God and then we may be ready to receive the blessing Gods been keeping in store for us because we were not ready to manage it in our old form and ways. Dont forget you cant actively go in-search of a spouse, God delivers your significant other to u. He puts both of u at the right place at the right time and THEN you receive ur blessing so WORK ON YOU and it would all fall into place!
Five Star Music artiste, HarrySong has revealed that though he doesn’t smoke or drink, he understands why some artistes take drugs before a performance.
In a recent interview, the Reggae Blues crooner stated that a lot of artistes in the industry have to take alcohol or drugs before getting on stage because they are shy. He, on the other hand, says he gets his inspiration from God to thrill his fans.
He also added that drugs limit artistes from genuinely making use of their talent. “It’s not a plus because I think it’s a limitation. Some are shy and can’t face the crowd but I don’t think it is enough reason to take drugs. I don’t do drugs. For me, if God has given you a talent, he also empowers you to handle any challenges that may come with it,” he stated
The Delta state born star and Gala ambassador also talked about how he discovered he had a flair for music at a very tender age and named his grand mother as his mentor who made him the man he is today.
“I was thrown into the world after I lost my parents. I had a lot of influences from the outside but it was my grand mum that moulded me,” he said.
“It was not easy at all because you have to face the world all by yourself but with the church background I had from my grand mum, I just knew that there were certain things I must not do. I don’t smoke and I don’t drink, it was just music for me all the way.”
Dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan recently lashed out at Davido calling him a F**k boi in new home videos she made and uploaded on Snapchat.
She was asked to explain why she took those jabs in a new interview with Sunday Spice and Cynthia said:
I do not want to talk about my spat with Davido or shed more light on it because I do not really know what to say. People who actually care tried to find out what really transpired between us. Davido called me names on Snapchat and I retaliated. When you say something to me, I give it back to you if I do not like it. Unfortunately, people did not hear my own side of the story before they reached their conclusions. I do not really have any problem or beef with Davido. He called me names and I called him names too. He started the whole episode by calling me a Malu, which means cow. I do not tolerate things like that from anybody. I do not know how people came up with the idea that I have a crush on Davido. I cannot remember ever saying that. I like his music artistry but I do not have a crush on him.
Range Rover
Although I did not win a car at the Headies, my new ride is a Range Rover SUV. It is my priced possession and it is God’s blessing to me. I appreciate people who have encouraged me to get to where I am today. I am more concerned with my music and my fans. I do not really care about any other person.
Feminism
I can’t stand anyone looking down on an individual simply because she is female. I am a feminist and I stand up for anything that concerns the women folk. I may not be a hardcore feminist but I am a female and I believe in empowering the girl child.
New reports have confirmed that Mavin star Korede Bello’s lecturers at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) in Ogba, Lagos have vowed to resign if the singer is allowed to take the forthcoming semester exams.
This is because his class attendance rate is lower than 70%.
The ‘God Win’ singer, who is pursuing an HND in Mass Communication, matriculated at the NIJ after graduating from the institution in 2014 with an OND in the same field.
One of his lecturers allegedly revealed this plan to the press, stating that they will not compromise as the student has shown great indifference with classes, only showing up to indicate interest in exams.
Korede Bello is yet to release an official statement on the matter.

“What a relief, my friend!”
“What are you relieved about?”
“It is this David Adeleke and Sophia Momodu soap opera”.
“I tell you. It is a perfect subject for a good home video. But what is your own?”
“No. Nothing. I am just relieved that the parties involved have agreed to let peace reign”
“This will be about the third time I would hear of that matter being resolved.”
“Well, I think the Momodus and the Adelekes should just spare us.
They should not forget there is a child involved. They have suddenly made Imade Adeleke, the most famous victim of Baby Mama-Baby Papa palaver in Nigeria. Both Davido and Sophia and their supporters’ clubs should please protect the baby, and not make her a poster child for that kind of subject.”
“But me, I am enjoying the story oh.”
“Of course, too many sadists in our land enjoy other people’s misery.”
“But really, it is a simple matter. “
“If it were that simple, the drama wouldn’t be so entertaining. “
“What Davido wants, Davido gets. His father is rich. He is a famous musician. Davido says he wants custody of his daughter.”
“By taking her away from her mother by force, and giving her to his half-sister, and threatening to travel out of the country with the baby for medicals, without the mother’s knowledge or consent? A seven-month old baby, abducted at two months?”
“He gave reasons for that. He is talking about the biological mother taking cannabis and risking his daughter’s life”
“Cannabis?”
“Yes. Igbo”
“You seriously mean marijuana?”
“Yes, gbana as in Indian hemp. And Davido provided a medical report to confirm his claim.”
“You saw the medical report. You are sure it is genuine? Because I understand Sophia Momodu’s lawyers have written the lab to produce the original report of proof of drug abuse.”
“This their matter sef.”
“That’s why it is the child that is most important. I don’t like the way they have turned the young girl into a trophy to be fought over in a blood sport. We are in the age of the internet. Twenty years from today, someone could print out these funny details from the internet memory bank. A father, grandfather and a half-sister fighting a mother and her family over a baby and making sordid claims: It is not a fight that can be easily won.”
“I hear Davido says the Momodus cannot force him. He may even release a special song to make his position clear: No be by force.”
“Nobody is forcing him and his family to marry Sophia Momodu. They are just saying custody should be mutually agreed upon.”
“And he and his family are saying they want their daughter properly brought up. They too have a point. You should not take sides.”
“Ok. He is talking about Marijuana. When he was head over heels in love with the Momodu girl, he didn’t smell marijuana? I am sure if he was given Marijuana before he was allowed to inhale, he would willingly exhale?
“He insists he was just 21 years old. And that he was seduced by a full-grown woman who took advantage of his youth and innocence.”
“Innocence, indeed. Was he raped? Did he not have a relationship with her, and did he not showcase her everywhere? He was 21. If he could be tricked at 21, then he should live with the consequences. “
“You are taking sides. I know why. You are Dele Momodu’s friend.”
“I am making uncommon sense. I am saying why is Davido asking for Sophia Momodu’s birth certificate after the fact? When the thing dey sweet them, they no dey remember say na the thing wey fowl chop, him go shit.”
“But you can’t force any man to marry a woman. Why the girl too go carry belle for him junior brother? She suppose know say Davido sef him na pikin. You no see as him papa they follow am, make dem no carry big yansh, big chest, fine face, cheat him son for Lagos”
“Him try well, well. But Davido, your boy, him no sabi use rubber?”
“That girl look like person wey go gree rubber?”
“You dey craze”
“My own is that fathers should just keep an eye on their sons and daughters. Let mothers also keep an eye on their daughters. To avoid stories that break the heart like this one, fine girls should just know that you can’t detain any man with a baby. Er beg.”
“The values of the younger generation are different.”
“Some strict parents will still never have allowed this to happen.”
“Some of these children are beyond control.”
“But we all suffer for it. This is why Ghanaian ladies insist that Nigerian men are unreliable. They say they use and dump women.”
“They say they…?”
“That’s what I hear.”
“They or we?”
“They.”
“You mean you have tried the Ghanaian market too? Tell your brother something about ECOWAS romance?”
“You are an incurable gossip. Ashawo, somebody.”
“But talking seriously, it won’t be fair to condemn Nigerian men. I think this is a thing about Nigerian musicians. Those people too like women. Young women, old women oh…any woman. Even the women musicians sef, any man wey stand well… fiam”
“That is more important to them than their art? No wonder many of them sing such trashy songs”
“There is even one of them who has seven children from five women or so. And there is one they call Whizkid”
“Superkid?”
“Whatever. But there is this kid musician who also has a child from an older woman. There is this joke that when his parents heard, they quickly took charge of the situation, by telling the Baby Mama that while they would accept the baby, everyone could see that the Baby father is himself still a baby, too young to take care of another baby, not to talk of a grown woman. They pleaded that no woman should pakurumo..ko…”
“ Nice joke. I laughed. Him sef na pikin, he never grow finish to take care of pikin. The girl fled.”
“That’s why I say it is a simple matter. Davido should have consulted his seniors in this matter. That one that has seven children from five women did it so well, today all his Baby Mamas married or single, are friends.”
“Wow. That’s a real Baba of the matter. Who is he?”
“I can’t mention his name. He is happily married now to one of the Baby Mamas. I don’t want to be accused of disrespecting another man’s wife.”
“Let Davido and Sophia just make peace for their daughter’s sake. And when the matter is settled, Davido knows where to go for tutorials if he really wants to fish in this type of troubled waters.”
“But our musicians sha. They can fight?”
“Who again is fighting?”
“Olamide and Don Jazzy.”
“That face-off over awards at The Headies event? But they have apologized”
“No. You don’t get the point. Why should artistes or producers or label owners fight over awards? What I have seen is that our young artistes are obsessed with awards. They seem to be more interested in being given a plaque than developing their real work. It is this same problem with Nollywood actors. Any small award is treated as if it is the Nobel Prize.”
“I see that too. It is the Grammy award disease.”
“No true artist should work with an eye on winning a plaque. The best award is the acceptance of the market place, not by a group of biased judges. If you are good as an artist, you are good, nobody can take that away from you.”
“Quite true. But it helps to have some plaques on the wall, I must say.”
“How many of those musicians who were called the best new acts on the block in the 80s and early 90s are still making any impact today? When a work of art is good, it will be evergreen; when an artist is good, his talent will endure.”
“Some of these new kids are great though. World-class talents. In the last few years, there has been an explosion of real talent.”
“I want to hear more about talent. Great art. Not drama kings and queens, not Baby Mamas and Lab Reports.”
“You are just old-fashioned. Controversy is part of art. Life itself is about controversy. Controversy produces great art. In the world of artists, all things work out as raw material.”
“That’s why people insist artists are mad.”
“But it is not only artists that generate or attract controversy. Politicians do.”
“I know. Controversy is the soul of politics, but here it produces stress and oftentimes, tragedy.”
“I’ll give you one example.”
“Which is?”
“In Oyo State, Governor Abiola Ajimobi is trying to embarrass the Olubadan in Council by trying to determine how existing vacancies within the hierarchy are filled. He is introducing INEC guidelines to Ibadan Chieftaincy affairs!”
“How can he possibly do that?”
“He is asking for certificates of mental, physical and marital fitness before Ladoja and Balogun can fill the Otun Olubadan and Osi Olubadan vacancies.”
“Marital fitness?”
“When people ask for physical fitness, don’t you know it is all encompassing?”
“All that is politics. I am sure it will be amicably resolved. Ajimobi is smart enough to know that you don’t fight the traditional institution. Governors will come and go, the Olubadan is the owner of Ibadan”
“Don’t tell me. Go and tell Ajimobi”
“Don’t worry. He knows. He just dey make body. Body language, they call it.”
“But what is happening in Bayelsa is not body language oh. When the people of Southern Ijaw go to the polls tomorrow to determine who will be the next Governor of Bayelsa state, they won’t be joking; the state will be at war.”
“May be not real war; let’s say blood sport.”
“You are speaking grammar. I just hope the election won’t be inconclusive again.”
“It is a combat for political supremacy.”
“Put it like this: the outcome may determine the future of Bayelsa state.”
“No. Put it like this: the outcome will determine the future of the PDP.”
“You are quibbling.”
“Dickson is core Ijaw. Timipre Sylva is Nembe.”
“I don’t get it.”
“The mind of the core Ijaw voter will make the difference. We pray for peace.”
“I have an idea now. Yes. All things being equal.”
“That’s politics for you.”
“But there are other forces.”
“That’s why there is so much at stake, and a question of where the stakeholders stand.”
“I know. Stakeholders matter. They have just allowed MTN to buy Visafone.”
“Really? Is that a reward for the fine MTN is supposed to pay?”
“It is a business transaction, nothing about government.”
“Everything is about government. Has MTN paid its fine, before being allowed to take over a home-grown company?”
“We should study what happened. Why do Nigerians get licenses and approvals, run a business for a while and then sell to foreign interests? HiTV. Now Visafone. ”
“One glaring failure of local content!”
“Look, let’s discuss that after MTN must have paid the fine.”
“I hear they have sacked 2, 000 Nigerian workers at Visafone, already. They have taken over.”
“What?”
“Oh, yes.”
“Oh no”
