“He’s Not Perfect But He’s Changed” – Nicki Minaj Promises Court She’ll Keep Meek Mill In Check.
Queen of Hip-Hop, Nicki Minaj has testified on behalf of her boyfriend, Meek Mill in a Philadelphia court on Thursday, in an attempt to stop him from returning to jail for violating his parole again.
The rapper reportedly spent 30 minutes on the stand trying to convince a judge that her boyfriend was a changed man despite violating his parole last month.
TMZ reports that the 33 year old star told Judge Genece Brinkley that she will take over all the 28-year-old rapper’s scheduling to make sure he does not leave the state without obtaining a travel voucher – as required under the conditions of his probation for a drug and gun conviction from 2009.
Nicki told the judge:
He’s not perfect but I can’t believe how much he’s changed.’
Judge Brinkley reminded Nicki that her beau had been given numerous opportunities and still traveled without getting permission last month.
Meek was seen at the American Music Awards on November 22, where Nicki picked up two awards.
World’s Most Wanted Drug Lord, EL Chapo Declares War On ISIS With Severe Threat.
World’s biggest drug lord, has reportedly ‘declared war‘ on the Islamic State, ISIS in a threatening letter.
Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán reportedly sent an encrypted email to the ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi after one of his cartel’s shipments was destroyed.
His letter, which has been leaked by cartelblog.com, claims his men will “destroy” the terror group if they continue to ‘impact on their operation’.
The Mexican drug baron, who runs the notorious Sinaloa cartel, allegedly told Al Baghdadi that his organisation are ‘not soldiers‘ but ‘lowly p*****s‘.
He wrote:
“Your god cannot save you from the true terror that my men will levy at you if you continue to impact my operation.My men will destroy you. The world is not yours to dictate. I pity the next son of a wh*** that tries to interfere with the business of the Sinaloa Cartel.”I will have their heart and tongue torn from them.”
The drug lord, nicknamed “Shorty“, has been on the run from police since he escaped from the maximum security Altiplano prison – 55 miles west of Mexico City – in July.
He fled through a hole in a shower after his men dug a mile-long tunnel underneath the jail to a farmhouse from where he fled. The tunnel, which would have taken months to dig, was found equipped with ventilation ducts, running electricity to power strip lighting, stairs and a motorbike on rails on which he rode away.
Guzman, once the 1,140th richest man in the world and once the 55th most powerful, is said to have paid $50 million (£32 million) in bribes this time to ensure he got away safely.
He had previously escaped from prison in 2001, and was only recaptured last year.
“My Sister Poured Hot Water On Herself” – Medical Student.
24 year old medical student, Yemisi Arogbonlo, who allegedly poured hot water on her stepsister, Oluwafunke, on Friday, December 4, at their house in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has denied the crime.
She said she had a fight with Oluwafunke and it was during the scuffle that the 32-year-old mistakenly fell on a bucket of hot water and injured herself.
She said she (Yemisi) had wanted to bath with the water.
It was earlier reported that, Oluwafunke and her stepmother, Victoria, had a disagreement sometime in September, and the 60-year-old woman fell down, hitting her head against a wall.
Victoria was said to have told her four children that Oluwafunke beat her up.
Yemisi, who arrived from Nasarawa State where she was studying a medical course on the faithful Friday, allegedly poured hot water on the victim while she (Oluwafunke) was sleeping, inflicting burns injuries on her neck, breasts, chest and leg.
Yemisi, however, said Oluwafunke mistakenly fell on a bucket of hot water she had prepared for her bath.
Speaking with PUNCH, she says:
“I arrived from the school on Friday around 8pm and she was not around. Later, I saw her emerge from her room and we greeted. I told her we had a lot of gist since we last saw about six months ago.
“She said she was surprised I was talking with her. I asked why she said that, and she replied that it was not important. “I drifted off to sleep and I woke up around 11pm. I boiled water for my bath and took the bucket of water to the bathroom we all shared.
“I was there when I saw her and I asked if she had changed the bed sheet where we would sleep because we share the same bed. She asked if I didn’t hear that she beat up my mother while I was away from home.
She said she could not believe that I could still talk to her. I was angry because she didn’t even put into consideration that the woman was old.
“I punched her and that was how we began to struggle and there was confusion in the house.”
Yemisi explained that during the scuffle, Oluwafunke fell on the bucket of hot water, which scalded her body.
She said she regretted fighting with the victim, adding that it was the handiwork of the devil.
“I started crying when I saw what had happened. I treated her wounds to the best of my medical ability and I eventually took her to a hospital.
“My father later took her to another hospital. The medical doctors said somebody will have to stay with her and I decided to do that.
Later, her friends came and started insulting me. When her mother also arrived from Lagos, she said I should not stay with her again and all my attempts to explain what happened to her fell on deaf ears,” she added.
But Oluwafunke told PUNCH Metro on the telephone that the claim she fought with Yemisi was a lie.
“It is a big lie. I was sleeping when she poured hot water on me. She is 24 years old, so how can she overpower me if we actually fought?” she queried.

EFCC Begins Fresh Probe Into Dokpesi’s N8bn Sport Deal.
Travails of former Chairman, DAAR Communications Plc, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, are far from over as his hopes of being granted bail by the Federal High Court, Abuja, dimmed on Thursday after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it had opened a fresh probe into the payment of N8.4bn to the businessman by the Federal Government.
Punch reveals that the counsel for the EFCC, Mr. Rotimi Jacobs, said this while opposing Dokpesi’s application for bail as canvassed by his lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), during Dokpesi’s appearance in court in Abuja.
On Wednesday, Ozekhome had said his client had been in the EFCC custody for eight days, adding that the offences, for which the embattled businessman was standing trial, were bailable.
The EFCC charged Dokpesi and DIHL with fraudulent receipt of N2.1bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser between October 2014 and March 19, 2015.
Opposing the bail application, however, Jacobs urged the court to reject the application on the grounds that the Federal Government was investigating a fresh allegation of N8.4bn the accused collected for airing the FIFA Under-17 championship, which Nigeria hosted in January, 2012.
Jacobs added that the airing right was given to DAAR Communications by FIFA and the Federal Government was not a party to the contract for which he allegedly collected N8bn from the Nigerian government.
Jacobs said:
“Here is a man, who in 2012, collected over N8bn for the contract for airing of the Under-17 World Cup organised by FIFA. Nigeria was not part of the contract agreement with FIFA, yet, this applicant collected the huge sum from the treasury of this country.
“Again, let me say here that Nigeria is bleeding and it is the duty of everybody, including judges in court, to ensure that we fight and put an end to corrupt tendencies in this country.
Ozekhome also told the court that his client was scheduled to travel abroad for medical attention when he received a call, inviting him to the EFCC office in Abuja and that without hesitation, Dokpesi honoured the invitation as a law-abiding citizen.
The senior advocate added that Dokpesi’s son would wed on December 17 and 19 and that as a father, he (Dokpesi) had sent invites to highly-placed Nigerians and as such, he would be around at all times to stand trial.
Jacobs said Dokpesi might jump bail due to the possibility of being jailed for seven years upon conviction.
But after the hearing on Thursday, the judge said he needed time to study the arguments for and against the bail application before he could deliver his ruling.
He then fixed Monday for the ruling and ordered that Dokpesi be returned to the EFCC custody.
“No Nnamdi Kanu, No Dialogue With FG” – MASSOB, IPOB.
The ceasefire declared by the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, and the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to give room for a dialogue with the Federal Government seems to have hit a dead end.
This comes after reports that former governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Senator Goodswill Akpabio led a delegation accompanied by some northern elites on behalf of MASSOB to Federal Government to broker a peace treaty.
Consequently, they said they the only way they would be part of the dialogue is if detained IPOB leader and Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu is part of it.
This came as the Chief Ralph Uwazuruike-led Biafra Independent Movement, BIM, dissociated self from any negotiation and vowed to actualize the Republic of Biafra.
Meanwhile, a coalition of human rights groups in the South-East zone cautioned the Federal Government against allowing Nnamdi Kanu to be murdered in the captivity of the Department of State Service, DSS, the way deceased leader of Boko Haram sect, Yusuf Mohammed was killed in Police custody.
Speaking on the proposed dialogue, in Enugu, yesteday, MASSOB Director of Information, Edson Samuel, said:
“We are shocked that Akpabio, who disowned MASSOB at the inception of this demonstration, led some northern leaders to broker truce on our behalf. We do not know them, neither can we identify with them because any person moving to dialogue between us and Federal Government must first meet with us and know our demands.
“This demonstration is strictly anchored by MASSOB, IPOB and Akpabio, working with his cohort, Dozie Ikedife, have shown hatred for Nnamdi Kanu. We make haste to disown them.

Charity Organization Slammed For Using Kanye West’s Face As Illustrations For Unacceptable Behavioural Approach. (Photo)
A charitable organization, “Goodwill” has tendered an apology for using rapper, Kanye West‘s facial expressions to demonstrate to staff on how not to behave to clients.
The organization had earlier used the photos and distributed it in a newsletter to its staff, telling them “the Kanye Resting Bitch Face” won’t be tolerated.
A Goodwill rep told TMZ,
they meant no disrespect when they used Kanye’s mug as a way of schooling supervisors on how to react to different scenarios in the workplace. Goodwill says it felt it was being “relatable” by using the rapper’s face, but in hindsight they realized it was wrong. The newsletters has now been pulled from all its stores and donation centers.
The rep says:
“We’d like to apologize to Kanye West, his fans and the community for the use of his image to illustrate an internal training message. It was unacceptable and Goodwill takes full responsibility for this action and meant no disrespect to Kanye.”
Mother Kills Newborn Baby Cause He Won’t Stop Crying. (Photos)
A young gruesome woman has shocked many after she was alleged guilty of murdering her illegitimate infant son because of his persistent crying.
According to People’s Daily Online, the 23-year-old woman, Wang had gotten pregnant out of wedlock for the second time with her long-term boyfriend, named only as Qiao.
Ms Wang is said to have stabbed her new baby repeatedly with a pair of scissors shortly after he was born in April, before Mr Qiao dumped the corpse the next morning in a bin near their flat in Haidian District, Beijing.
Ms Wang claimed to have had no knowledge of being pregnant until she went into labour on April 23 of this year and said that the child ‘cried all the time‘ after his birth.
She said that the baby was delivered without any medical assistance at the couple’s flat, and that she cut the umbillical chord herself, claiming she stabbed the boy ‘by accident‘ as she attempted the procedure.
Thinking she could be understood by the newborn despite having previously been to medical school, prosecutors found that Ms Wang threatened the infant by saying ‘I’ll poke you if you cry‘ before using the scissors to violently stab the baby’s chest and neck, causing acute hemorrhaging.
Ms Wang has been charged with intentional murder and Mr Qiao with destroying evidence by the public prosecutor in China, although their sentences have not yet been announced.
Mrs Wang and Mr Qiao, first met back in 2012 and subsequently entered into a long-term relationship.

Queen of Hip-Hop, Nicki Minaj‘s brother reportedly appeared in court on Wednesday for a preliminary hearing on rape charges.
37 year old Jelani Maraj, was accompanied by his mother, Carol and lawyer, Andrea Zellan for the hearing to set a schedule for his upcoming trial.
The 37 year old who recently got married, is accused of raping a 12-year-old on multiple occasions. Nicki was not present but she did post bail for her brother last week.
The 32-year-old rapper put up a $100,000 bond which was guaranteed by the two homes she owns in nearby Baldwin.

Stephen Keshi’s Wife Dies.
Former coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi has confirmed the sad and sudden death of his wife, Kate, in the United States. The deceased is said to have passed on on Wednesday.
Speaking to Completesportsnigeria.com, he revealed that his wife had been sick for a while but he never expected that the sickness would cause her to die.
She was ill for a while now and I’m still in shock of this great loss,”She is more like a sister to me and was the rock behind me and everything I do. My love for her was at first sight,” he said.
