In other new, a Nigerian man has sparked a debate on social media after declaring that paying a woman’s bride price does not constitute marriage.

He made this assertion while advising a lady who inquired on a Facebook group whether it was morally right to be intimate with her partner who had paid her bride price but they had not yet officially tied the knot.

In response, the man urged her to wait until their union was solemnized before engaging in intercourse.

According to him, the payment of bride price does not make the man her husband yet.

“It’s wrong. The payment of bride price is not marriage. Wait until the marriage is solemnized, and you are pronounced husband and wife. It’s all yours. No need to rush,” he wrote.

His statement has, however, elicited varying reactions. While some agreed with him, others disagreed, noting that bride price is what establishes the man as her husband and that a church wedding is a borrowed culture.

“You are already married. Paying of bride price is what the Bible recognizes. Church wedding is a borrowed culture of the whites that we now imitate,” a Facebook user wrote.

“What happened to preaching about salvation in church?” – Outrage as Nigerian clergyman preaches about bra and ‘fallen’ brǝasts (video)

Nigerian clergyman preaches

A Nigerian clergyman, Michael Arokpo, has sparked mixed reactions online over the question he posed to a female congregant during a sermon in his church.

A video circulating on social media shows the pastor asking the woman, who apparently specializes in the sales of underwear, how many times a woman should wear a bra.

In response, the woman asserted that women should wear a bra for a maximum of two days because they sweat under their breasts.

She said, “Two days because women sweat under their breasts. The under of a woman’s breast smells more than anything. Many women do not wash under their breasts.”

She further advised that women with saggy boobs should lift them and wash underneath their breasts thoroughly.

The use of the word ‘sag’ did not sit well with the clergyman and he declared that such breasts have “fallen”.

The video has sparked an outrage on social media, with many saying it is inappropriate for a pastor to discuss women’s body part in church.

Checkout what a submarine implosion looks like following the death of all 5 individuals on Titanic-bound submersible (video)

Checkout what a submarine

A video of what a submarine implosion looks like has been shared online after the tragic death of all five persons onboard a Titanic-bound submersible.

The OceanGate submersible, which set off on Sunday, June 18, for the Titanic wreckage situated approximately 39,000 feet below sea level, reportedly suffered a catastrophic implosion, killing everyone onboard instantly.

 Checkout what a submarine

Following the tragedy, a simulated video of a submarine implosion has surfaced on the internet. It’s just like a bomb that can completely obliterate a vessel within milliseconds.

An implosion occurs if any part of the submersible’s carbon fiber and titanium shell suffers a minor crack or flaw, as shown in the video below..

The submersible lost contact with its mother ship about an hour and 45 minutes after it submerged on Sunday.

It’s believed that the men died on Sunday – before military planes using sonar buoys detected what they thought was a SOS ‘banging’ sounds in the water.

The casualties are OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, British billionaire Hamish Harding, French Navy veteran Paul-Henri (PH) Nargeolet, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, and his son Suleman, who was just 19.

“The implosion would have generated a significant, broadband sound that the sonar buoys would have picked up,” Rear Admiral of the US Coast Guard, John Mauger said at a press conference.

“I know Chichi is older than almost everybody [BBN Season 7 housemates]. She is about 33 years old. Excuse me! The way you have silicone on your n*yash and your breasts, you have it on your brain. So, shut up. Chichi stripper. Chichi silicone brain. Chichi, mother of two; abandoned them, one died. Chichi left her husband in Benin…” Phyna said.

After the episode aired, Phyna went on a lengthy rant on social media, calling out MultiChoice and accusing them of selling a certain narrative about her.

She claimed the clip was “cut and joined,” as the mean things she said about Chichi were a response to the derogatory names Chichi first called her, which weren’t aired.

19-year-old university student who d!ed in Titanic submarine ‘implosion’ was terrified about the trip and only went to please his dad for Father’s Day, aunt reveals

university student who died

The university student who tragically lost his life in the Titanic submarine’s catastrophic implosion had expressed deep fear and apprehension about the trip.

According to his bereaved aunt, Suleman Dawood, who was only 19, decided to join the crew to please his father on Father’s day, despite his overwhelming fear.

 university student who died

It was earlier reported that Suleman and his father, Shahzada Dawood, a Pakistani businessman, were among the five victims killed when the OceanGate submersible experienced a devastating implosion during their journey to witness the Titanic ship’s wreckage, located about 39,000 feet below sea level.

According to Azmeh Dawood, the elder sister of Mr. Dawood, who serves as the vice chairman of Engro Corporation, her nephew wasn’t ‘really up for the trip’ but felt compelled to please his father, who was very passionate about the historic 1912 shipwreck.

Speaking with NBC News from her home in Amsterdam, Azmeh said,

“I am thinking of Suleman, who is 19, in there, just perhaps gasping for breath … It’s been crippling, to be honest.

“I feel like I’ve been caught in a really bad film, with a countdown, but you didn’t know what you’re counting down to. I personally found it kind of difficult to breathe thinking of them. It’s been unlike any experience I’ve ever had”.

She also admitted that she would not have gotten on the Titan submersible if she was given a million dollars.

Suleman was a student at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow before his tragic passing.

Professor Sir Jim McDonald, Principal and Vice-Chancellor, posted,

“I write to you with a heavy heart to share the news that one of our students, Suleman Dawood, is a passenger on board the submersible that is missing in the North Atlantic.

We are deeply concerned about Suleman, his father and the others involved in this incident. I know you will join me in sending our thoughts and prayers to their families and loved ones.”

Billionaires who paid $250,000 each to view the ruins of Titanic ship reported dead after their submersible imploded (photos)

Billionaires who paid

Tragic news has emerged about the billionaires who paid a substantial sum of $250,000 each to view the wreckage of the Titanic ship with a submersible.

It’s been reported that the Titanic-bound submersible that went missing on Sunday with five people on board suffered a catastrophic implosion, killing everyone onboard.

Billionaires who paid

US Coast Guard Rear Admiral, John Mauger, confirmed the tragic news on Thursday, June 22. He revealed that the tail cone and various debris, which matched the characteristics of the missing Titan submersible, were found about 1,600 feet away from the bow of the Titanic.

“There is an incredibly unforgiving environment down there on the sea floor and the debris is consistent with a catastrophic implosion of the vessel,” Mauger told reporters.

He added that the families of the deceased were immediately notified, adding that “he can only imagine what this has been like for them and he hopes that this discovery provides some solace during this difficult time.”

Reports of the missing ship emerged online recently, sparking a huge controversy on the internet.

The Titan submersible began its descent on Sunday, June 18, to explore the ruins of the Titanic, about 13,000 feet below sea level in the North Atlantic Ocean, with an estimated 96 hours of life support.

The expedition was marketed as “a chance to step outside of everyday life and discover something truly extraordinary” and each participant paid a staggering sum of $250,000 to be part of this adventure.

Sadly, the cramped vessel lost contact with his mother ship about 1 hour and 45 minutes into its dive and did not surface again.

Among those on board the Titan submersible were Rush, the CEO and founder of OceanGate; Harding, a British businessman; Shahzada Dawood, a Pakistani billionaire, and his son Suleman Dawood; as well as Nargeolet, a French diver, as reported by their relatives and social media posts. However, officials have not yet disclosed the names of the individuals who were aboard the vessel.

May their souls rest in peace!

After the show, we made an effort to work things out, but unfortunately, we discovered that there was no chemistry between us to sustain a romantic relationship, amongst other reasons.
In the midst of the misunderstandings, I genuinely cared for vou and showed that in the best possible way I could. I know some things might have come off hurtful along the way but that was never my intention.
Although some statements were said about me that are untrue. However, I understand that we cannot control how people react in certain situations.
In a nutshell, I am sorry; my intention was never to lead you on or to disrespect you in anyway.”

Man bags life imprisonment for killing his wife after his close friend caught her cheating

A man has taken to social media to recount the heartbreaking story of how his friend’s family fell apart due to a series of terrible occurrences.

According to Twitter user, Clay, he saw his friend’s wife enjoying fun at a club with her boyfriend and felt compelled to let her husband know.

He texted his friend a picture of her when she was with the other man and asked him whether he was aware of what his wife was up to.

Unfortunately, he discovered the next day that the woman had been murdered by her husband, who he had informed. He first realized there had been a catastrophe when he saw others sharing her images with the remark “RIP.”

He claimed he hasn’t spoken to his friend since he was imprisoned for killing his wife and received a life sentence.

He wrote;

“I learned never to speak on a woman’s infidelity when I was in the club one night and in the section next to mine I saw a woman, pretty much draped over the guy there. Rubbing on him, standing on the couch. Etc. it was my homie’s wife.

She never sees me (guess she was too engulfed in her good time) but I’m able to snap a pic once the light hit her. Sent it to my homie like “did u know about this?” Next morning I see all kinds of RIP posts from people we went to high school with. He killed her and is doing life

I just.. what people got going on is their business. When they find out is when they find out. I dealt with guilt for a while like was it bc I said something? He felt embarrassed bc I seen it? Idk.. none of us knew he had that side in him.

I guess I have to break this down.. I’ve personally, PERSONALLY, seen people crash out over women. Over the perceived possession of them. This involves men, lesbian couples, etc.

This is where I LEARNED to not do anything to disturb that bc something crazy happened. I’m not friends w him anymore bc he’s doing life. I can’t talk to him. I’m human enough to miss my friend. Last time I talked to him, he told me he loved me and he’s sorry. That was it. No other thing was said. Her family never blamed me. Nobody tried to slide on me etc.

I feel bad for her. She didn’t deserve what came. I never saw that side of him, none of us in our friend group did. Y’all have babies by people and swear u didn’t know what they were like but I’m supposed to know he’s capable of what he did?!”

Sharing on the microblogging platform, Twitter, Reno counseled people not to feel incomplete without marriage and expressed his opinion that marriage did not complete anyone.

According to him, a person is complete because of who God created them to be, not because of who they are with.

He added that a life without a spouse or children was still life and should be enjoyed.

“Marriage is an institution. It is not an achievement. It does not complete you. It should not even complete you. You are complete because of who God made you, not because of who you are with. Life without a husband, wife, and children is still life. Enjoy it!”

“You’re part of us” – Traditionalists call out gospel singer, Tope Alabi for using ‘their slang’ during ministration (Video)

Nigerian gospel singer, Tope Alabi, has come under heavy criticism for a song she performed during a recent ministration.

The renowned music minister, known for her powerful indigenous soul-stirring lyrics, recently performed in a yet-to-be-identified church.

In a video of the performance that surfaced online, the congregation can be seen dancing and singing praises to God as Tope Alabi and her backup singers performed.

However, a word she used in one of the songs has sparked a debate and backlash on social media.

Tope Alabi used the word ‘Aboru Aboye,’ which is a greeting language among traditional worshippers.

Reacting to the video, social media users criticized her for using such words in a church, while others questioned her spirituality.

One Instagram user, @Ccmoney, wrote,

“Why are people defending what they can’t? The greeting is limited to only the idol worshippers, most especially the Ogboni confraternity. Aboru Aboye; then the recipient would answer Aboye Bosise. If you’re still doubting this as a Yoruba person, please try to greet your parents by saying Aboru Aboye then come back to give me feedback.”

Another user, Olaxie, wrote, “She’s not supposed to use that word, but if you think she is right, then why are we not saying ‘ase’ in church instead of ‘Amen’?”

Meanwhile, some traditionalists have also reacted to the video. A popular traditionalist identified as obaelaifa on TikTok claimed that the singer was a part of their community and expressed joy that she used the slang, which, according to him, meant she was finally identifying with them.

Another group of traditionalists shared a video of themselves dancing to the song as they worshipped in their shrine.

“The Lord told me not to use the car he recently bought. Let him sell it and not use it because the devil has planned to use the car to pull him down. God has blessed him, but the devil has planned to pull him down.

Let him take note of Tuesday and Thursday of the week, I don’t know which week, but I saw something very bad. It wasn’t a good thing. He can escape it if he sells the car. He can give it away or sell it. Let him sell it back, the car he recently bought. Let him not use it,” he said.

This revelation comes a few weeks after Davido took delivery of the Maybach S-Class S680 V12 2023 car reportedly valued at $600,000 (N447,000,000).
