“My wife didn’t die from tummy tuck complications” — Former Senate President Ken Nnamani speaks on wife’s death

Ken Nnamani speaks

Former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, has debunked claims that his late wife, Mrs. Jane Nnamani, died from tummy tuck complications.

Mrs. Nnamani passed away after a minor surgery in Enugu on Thursday, May 4, while her husband was out of the country.

Speaking on his wife’s death to newsmen in Abuja, Nnamani said he was in Germany for a routine medical check-up when she died.

 Ken Nnamani speaks

He also refuted reports that his wife passed away due to a botched tummy tuck procedure and disclosed that she died as a result of a diabetes-related complication that arose following her Lipoma surgery.

[Lipomas are non-cancerous growths composed of fatty tissue that can form under the skin. They are typically painless and typically do not require treatment.]

In his words,

“I lost my wife on the 4th of May while I was in Germany for a medical check up. Her demise has created a huge vacuum. She played a role in raising my kids. When I was the President of the Senate, my wife stayed back in the United States of America to take care of my children and guide them through school.

 Ken Nnamani speaks

She didn’t rush to Nigeria to answer the title of the wife of the President of the Senate. She focused on building the family. It’s a major loss to me and my family. So, I’d to return and brief my primary constituency, the media on what has happened. Whatever we achieved in the National Assembly, it was the media that made it possible. They played a major role in what is now called the Third Term Agenda.

I read on social media that I’ve stroke and my wife taking care of me had died. People are abusing the concept of social media. People are using it to dish out falsehood. It is hard to even control it. This is not good for us. People are using the social media to promote malice.

Anybody who has seen my wife cannot associate her with Abdominoplasty or tummy tuck. My wife’s death had nothing to do with tummy tuck. She was a paragon of beauty. There was no man that ever saw Mt wife and didn’t admire her beauty.

Death is for everyone and we will all face it one day. It is unfortunate for people to use social media to promote falsehood. My wife died of lipoma. She had diabetes. She died from complications from diabetes during the surgery. The diabetes complicated the surgery. She woke up from the surgery.

They said I’ve stroke. Anybody can suffer that, but u don’t have it. I only have a small back pain and it comes with age. I’ll give her a befitting final burial.”

“Being a babymama doesn’t mean you should be entitled to your baby father’s money” – Sandra Iheuwa opines after Sophia Momodu’s posts

Nigerian businesswoman, Sandra Iheuwa has taken to social media to share her opinion on baby mamas and their relationship with their partners.

Her post comes after Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, went on a lengthy rant on Twitter about men who financially bully women into staying with them, especially when children are involved.

Sophie who shares a daughter with Davido, stated that there is a special place in hell for such people, adding that the laws in Nigeria do not protect women and children.

Iheuwa, who has children with businessman Steve Thompson and music executive Ubi Franklin, said that being a baby mom does not entitle you to your baby daddy’s wealth.

The entrepreneur said that while women can call out deadbeat fathers, baby mamas are exempt from accusations of financial abuse, particularly when the baby daddy is there and providing for the child as he should.

She wrote;

“First of all being a baby mama doesn’t mean you should be entitled to your baby father’s money. The only responsibility he has is towards your child and it’s also your responsibility to take care of your child as well it shouldn’t be an avenue for you to make money or be taken care of… Now if your baby father is dead beat you can call him out with your full chest if you can do it every Eke market day that will be awesome too… Financial abuse doesn’t apply to baby mamas especially when the baby daddy is present and doing what he should for his child. Unless he stops taking care of his child. Most married women experience financial abuse from their spouse it’s like a scheme for them to stay in the useless marriage and have no means to leave. If you are a baby mama and have no means to leave. If you are a baby mama and your baby daddy is taking care of your child (be grateful) but not taking care of you and you are ranting “financial abuse”. Madam go and work and take care of yourself and your bills. I support women but I don’t support nonsense.

I don’t know why anyone will feel entitled to another’s person especially when you are not even a wife. If my son’s father was taking care of my son I would be grateful and will never rant but you will never catch me rant about him not taking care of me. It will never happen as long as I’m alive and well”.

Taking to the microblogging platform, Twitter, she shared that it had been over a year since she gave up using drugs and alcohol and got sober.

“Before JESUS, I did dirty things. I was addicted to weed, alcohol and masturbation. I was lost in pornography. Today it’s almost a year I’m totally clean. The HOLYSPIRIT convicted and converted me right in my room. Today I go out to preach JESUS. He saved me. He can save you too

In the words of my grandfather, David Oyedepo ” when you insult me and drag me on Twitter for my own testimony, salvation and ministry that YAHWEH has given me it’s a booster. It means that what I’m doing is paining you”

It’s not my job to defend the HOLYSPIRIT. It’s not my job to prove my salvation to you. I’m only a Masterpiece renewed for His good works to preach the gospel of good news. The enemy will always react to a divine seal.”

Davido reacts as baby mama, Sophia Momodu rants about men who ‘financially bu||y women’

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has reacted after his first baby mama Sophia Momodu took to social media to extensively rant about men who financially bully women.

The businesswoman, who shares a daughter with Davido, noted in a series of tweets that it’s disgusting for men to bully women financially into staying with them, especially when children are involved.

Sophia, who stated that there is a special place in hell for such people, added that laws in Nigeria do not protect women or children.

She asked why a man would make a woman take on his responsibilities because she chooses to move on and never look back.

Although she didn’t disclose who the tweet was addressed to, she stated that “it’s been over a year and enough is enough”.

“Financially bullying a woman into staying with you has got to be the most disgusting thing a man can do. Especially when children are involved.

“There’s got to be a special place in hell for people who intentionally punish innocent children. It’s been almost a year. Enough is enough!!!!

“Only in Nigeria! The laws don’t protect women or children, and the men just do the absolute most! My goodness, the whole system just stinks!

“The amount of women going through financial abuse and being forced into silence in Nigeria is staggering. Who speaks for these women? Who defends them? Why is it okay for women to keep going through this?

“Why should it be okay for a man to force a woman to handle his responsibilities as a father simply because the woman chooses to move forward and refuses to look back?

“Honestly, it’s time to soro soke because we’re lo poju ni country yi. This cannot be okay. This should not be okay. So many women are forced into silence because these men use other ignorant women to bully and force the women they’re tormenting into silence. #ShameOnThisCorruptSystem

“The enabling, the scheming, the lies, and false narratives… ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Too many women have had to resort to suicide concerning this systematic oppression, and the ones who chose to be strong for their children are considered stubborn or problematic. The crazy thing in all of this is that you’ll find fellow ‘women’ dehumanizing these innocent women. Haba.

“I’ve said what I feel like saying today. Tomorrow we continue with the blatant truth. Enough is enough! #TheSystemNeedsToDoMore #ForWomenInNigeria”, her tweet read.

Moments after this, Davido, in an apparent reaction, shared a screenshot of him doing his “unavailable” dance while adding that he has no time for “wahala”.

“I no get time for wahala I Dey IBIZA !!! 🙂, No vex”, he wrote.
