This comes amid the recent rave to break a Guiness World Record following the remarkable feat by Nigerian chef and food blogger, Hilda Baci.

Recall that Hilda cooked continuously for over 100 hours to break the existing record of the longest cooking time by an individual, and is still awaiting confirmation by GWR.

However, several persons have sprang up to break her unconfirmed record. One Ekiti chef, identified as Dammy, trended last week for started a 120-hour cook-a-thon to shatter Hilda’s 100-hour milestone.

Well, a young woman has taken to social media to reveal that she has started a 130-hour fry-a-thon and plans to fry puff-puff for 130 hours.

She shared photos of herself in the kitchen kneading dough and frying them and called for the support of Nigerians.

Singer Portable has reacted after his second baby mama, Keji, who was reportedly caught cheating on him, declared her love for him and hinted at their reconciliation.

You will recall that in January, Portable had hinted that there was a problem between him and Keji.

Female Nigerian Air Force officer commits suicide at Lagos military base

A female officer of the Nigerian Air Force, simply identified as George, has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in Ikeja, Lagos State.

On Saturday, June 10, 2023, George, a Master Warrant Officer assigned to the 651 Base Services Group Resident at Block T5 Flat 8 at Sam Ethnan Air Force Base Ikeja, reportedly killed herself.

According to information provided to Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst Zagaza Makama by an intelligence source, the officer was discovered deceased in her chamber on Sunday, June 11.

Three Air Provosts who arrived with another team of troops to transport the body to the 661 Nigerian Air Force Hospital declared her dead.

“Master Warrant Officer George a female Personnel of the Nigerian Air Force serving at 651 Base Services Group Resident at Block T5 Flat 8 in Sam Ethnan Air Force Base Ikeja reported to have committed suicide inside her room at about 1400hrs on 10 Jun 23. Efforts are ongoing by 3 Air Provost to evacuate her to 661NAFH, while further investigation will continue,” the source said.

Ibadan-based chef, Temitope Adebayo has declared his intention to participate in a 140-hour cook-a-thon in an effort to break the world record for the longest cooking session.

The chef announced his ambitions to take over both Chef Dammy, who is attempting to finish a 120-hour cook-a-thon, and Chef Hilda Baci, who recently finished a 100-hour cook-a-thon.

A young lady has stirred controversy online with her claims that Ekiti chef, Damilola Adeparusi trying to break Hilda Baci’s record is charging N1000 to serve the food being made.

The young chef from Ekiti state has embarked on a 120-hour cooking marathon in an attempt to beat Hilda’s record for the longest individual cooking time. However, Hilda’s feat has not yet been confirmed by the Guinness World Records.

The young lady took to Tiktok to call out the chef for selling the food during her 120-hour cook-a-thon competition for the longest cooking duration as it was against the Guinness world records rule to charge for the food.

Te lady claimed that food made at the cooking marathon was free for the first day, however, Chef Dammy allegedly put a price of N1K and made it mandatory for those interested.

“So, coming from the stable of information, they said that no free food today. You have to pay N1K if you want to eat food; yesterday was free,” she said.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to disclose he is thinking about reporting his friend’s fraudulent actions to the relevant authorities because he didn’t pay back his N7 million balance.

He claimed that the individual is a former classmate, to whom he had six months earlier lent N20 million to convert to dollars.

According to him, the friend trades foreign exchange, but the CBN closed his account previously, thus he requested a refund of his N20 million.

The man said his guy paid about N13 million but there is still N7 million outstanding he is expecting and is aware that he is into fraud.

He gave him a deadline of two weeks to return the remaining N7 million.

Nigerian singer, B-Red has narrated how he and his cousin Davido sold up to 20 TVs from his father’s home in order to finance their musical ambitions.

B-Red recalled how music mogul Don Jazzy had offered to assist them if only they could return to Nigeria to start their musical careers in an interview on Echo Room.

They had made the decision to break into Davido’s father’s home and sell off numerous TVs because they didn’t have any money of their own.

He claims that he and Davido initially discussed selling several vehicles but changed their minds after realizing that they were not registered in Davido’s name.

B-Red admitted that he now regrets doing that since he sees it as a disrespect to his uncle, but he also expressed gratitude for having done it.

In his words;

“Don Jazzy told us to come to Nigeria and he would support us after we hosted him for 5 hours.

Me and Davido wanted to sell all the cars in the house, but we couldn’t because the cars weren’t in our names. Davido’s father bought him Hyundai but luckily before we could sell it he had already changed the car documents to his name. We couldn’t sell off the cars but we sold up to 16 to 17s TV plus 3 TVs from the basement.

I busted Davido’s father’s house and we sold 20 TVs from his father’s house.

I regret doing all these things but at the same time, I am happy. I regretted it because of the disrespect, but at the same time I am happy I did it”.

The woman allegedly ordered a lunch that was more expensive than the man could afford when the two were out on a date.

He then made the decision to inform her to pay for what she had eaten at the end of their date when it came time to make a payment.

It appears that their drama had gone outside as the man entered his car about to zoom off, but he and the lady began having a heated argument.
