The former footballer’s twins, Georgie and Summer, turned 17 today, May 18, and John Terry surprised them with the matching luxury cars, leaving everyone in awe.

Taking to his Instagram page on Thursday, he showed off the gifts accompanied by a sweet birthday message to his twins.

He shared a photo of their matching decorations and birthday cakes before revealing their two very lavish first cars, which cost around £41,000.

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 24-year-old pregnant woman for allegedly brutally assaulting her seven-year-old nephew.

The woman, identified as Eguta, who is heavily pregnant, reportedly inflicted severe injuries on her nephew, identified as Sunday, almost blinding him, simply because he ate fish and failed to recite the English alphabet.

She was apprehended after concerned neighbours took the victim identified as Sunday, to the office of the state women and social welfare commissioner, Ify Obinabo, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Sunday is the biological son of Eguta’s sister, whom she had brought to live with her less than a year ago. The boy, who bears scars from previous inflicted injuries by his guardian, had been out of school for a long time.

During interrogation, Eguta admitted to beating the boy for eating the fish she had bought for the family meal that day. She also confessed to beating him on Monday for failing to recite the English alphabet correctly, citing it as the main reason for injuring him.

“I am very sorry. I didn’t intend to blind him or beat him in the eyes, but I mistakenly did so. Please, forgive me, it is the handwork of the devil,” she said.

Four children, including 11-month-old baby

Four children have reportedly been found alive in a Jungle more than two weeks after the plane they were traveling in crashed in Colombia.

The children have been identified as Lesly Mucutuy, 13, Soleiny Mucutuy, 9, Tien Noriel Ronoque Mucutuy, 4, and Cristin Neriman Ranoque Mucutoy, 11-month-old.

The Cessna 206 aircraft, carrying a total of seven people, had issued a mayday alert due to engine failure in the wee hours of May 1, 2023, before it crashed in the Amazon.

Tragically, three adults, including the pilot and Magdalena Mucutuy Valencia, the mother of the four children, lost their lives in the plane crash. Their bodies were discovered inside the aircraft wreckage.

According to initial reports from the Colombian civil aviation authority, which led the rescue mission, it appears that the children left the plane after the crash and ventured into the rainforest to find help.

The search teams aided by skilled dogs, discovered half-eaten fruit that the children ate to survive in the jungle. They also found makeshift shelters in the jungle, presumably used by the children.

Photos released by the armed forces shows a pair of scissors, a hair tie, a baby’s drinking bottle and a discarded fruit found in the jungle.

President Gustavo Petro described the discovery of the children as a moment of great joy and celebration for the entire country. He also expressed his appreciation to the military for their tireless efforts during the extensive search operation.

Photos of late Nollywood actor, Saint Obi’s palatial mansion in his hometown in Mbaitolu Local Government Area of Imo State have surfaced on the internet.

The photos were shared online after veteran filmmaker and journalist, Zik Zulu Okafor, narrated how Saint Obi’s marriage distanced him from his friends and acting career.

Zik, a close friend of the actor who sadly passed away on Saturday, May 13, after a prolonged illness, in an article shared a detailed account of the tragic events leading up to Obi’s death.

He revealed that Saint Obi married a high-ranking executive in a telecommunications company, and her siblings always viewed him as a “gold digger.”

Following his death, Uche Nworah, said to be a member of the Advisory Board at Awka Millenium City, Uche Nworah, took to Facebook to release photos of the actor’s mansion in Imo state.

“Why we don’t help some ailing actors” – TAMPAN President, Mr Latin

President of the Theatre Arts and Movies Production Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr. Latin, has revealed why the group is unable to provide assistance to some sick and struggling actors in the movie industry.

During a recent interview on 32FM in Ibadan, Mr. Latin disclosed that TAMPAN has already spent over N10 million on addressing health issues faced by actors and emphasized the association’s readiness to offer support.

However, he pointed out that TAMPAN is unable to assist certain ailing members due to their inactivity within the association.

Mr. Latin explained that these actors, out of shame, do not approach TAMPAN for help but instead seek assistance through the internet, radio, or television, because they know they were not active members, as a result, the group is unable to offer them the assistance they need.

“We always come to the aid of all active members. Since I became the TAMPAN President, we have spent more than N10 million on the actors’ health challenges. The ones you see going on radio or TV to beg for money are not active members of the association.” He said.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress, Toro Aramide, has taken to social media to address the alarming rate of hypocrisy in the Nigerian movie industry.

In a recent Instagram post, Toro shared her disappointment with some of her colleagues whom she described as hypocrites, following the passing of fellow actor Murphy Afolabi.

Murphy Afolabi passed away on Sunday, May 14, a few days after his 49th birthday. In her post, Toro criticized those who quickly mourned the actor but failed to celebrate him while he was alive.

She claimed that some of the people who posted pictures of Murphy mourning him after his death didn’t show the same enthusiasm when he celebrated his birthday just a few days prior.

According to Toro, this is one of the reasons why she refrains from making friends in the industry.

Afrobeat musician, Made Kuti has reacted after he and his father, Femi Kuti, were heavily criticized for allegedly abandoning his embattled uncle, Seun Kuti.

Recall that Seun was on Tuesday, May 16, arraigned before a Magistrate court sitting in Yaba, Lagos state, after a video of him assaulting a police officer went viral online.

A young man is grateful to be alive after miraculously escaping unscathed after his car rammed into a truck.

Video footage from the scene of the horrific accident that surfaced online, captured him walking away unharmed from his Lamborghini sports car, which had become wedged underneath the truck.

Onlookers who rushed to the accident scene successfully forced the door of the driver’s side open, and surprisingly, the driver was shielded by the car’s airbag.

Despite the severity of the crash, the driver emerged from the vehicle unharmed, much to the amazement of onlookers.

The man calmly exited the car like nothing happened, while checking if his phone and wallet were still intact.

The incident has since garnered immense attention on social media, with many users expressing their gratitude to God on his behalf and describing it as nothing short of a miracle.

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Olorunyomi Oloruntimilehin, popularly known as Bad Boy Timz, has recounted a harrowing ordeal that nearly cost him his eyesight at the age of 9.

In a recent chat with UK-based Nigerian media personality Adesope Olajide, Bad Boy Timz revealed that he was shot in the eye by assassins who targeted his family in the Mushin area of Lagos years ago.

According to him, the assassins targeted his family’s car and opened fire. He shared that the gunshot aimed at his dad’s head ended up hitting his eye.

“They were assassins, they didn’t even stop the car, they just shot the bunnet and started spraying. It wasn’t a robbery and they were looking for an Igbo family. When they heard my mum say e je kin ko awon omo mi, they were surprised.

“It was me, my mum, my dad and my immediate older brother, it was just four of us in the car in Lagos, Mushin to be precise. They just overtook us and started shooting, they didn’t even tell us to stop and I got shot in the eye because they were targeting my dad’s head and it went straight into my eye.” He said.

When asked about the current condition of his injured eye, the singer mentioned that it is currently fine, but he is preparing for another operation.

“The eye is alright, I’m supposed to do another operation soon,” he said

Nigerian singer and music executive, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced his rate for featuring on songs by international artistes.

The ‘Timeless’ crooner made this announcement during a recent interview on the Bootleg Kev show, while responding to a question about his charges.

Davido said he now charges $100,000 (about N46 million) to feature on a song by a foreign musician, as well as a music video.

According to him, he previously used to feature in international songs for free, but that has changed and he now charges a fee. He also mentioned that he involves his lawyer in the process.

A 44-year-old woman, Oluwatoyin Falade has approached the Orile Agege Customary Court, seeking the dissolution of her 11-year marriage.

Oluwatoyin made the plea on Wednesday, May 17, on grounds of infidelity on the part of her husband, Segun.

The petitioner, who lives at Tunde Davids Close in Agege, Lagos, has two children for Segun, ages 8 and 11.

“My husband is a flirt; he runs after anything in a skirt.” “I had two girls before I married him, and those girls are 15 and 18. They stay with me, and I don’t trust my husband because he chases everything in his skirt. My husband changes women anyhow, and he doesn’t respect me. If the court doesn’t dissolve the union, I will run away with my kids,” she told the court amid tears.

She further mentioned that her husband’s infidelity causes people in the neighborhood to mock her.

“I am fed up; Segun cannot change; chasing after women and ladies has become the order of the day for him,” she said.

She alleged that he doesn’t take care of her and the children.

In his response, Segun, a 46-year-old Lagos State Judiciary worker, admitted to his infidelity.

“I will not lie; I bring in different women to the house, but I am ready to change. I have been begging her to please forgive me,” he said.

He, however, maintained that he takes care of the children and his wife.

“My Lord, you can see that my wife is robust and fresh. It is obvious that she is not suffering. I bought her a phone recently, and I pay the children’s school fees,” he said.

He begged the court not to grant the dissolution, assuring he will make things right if given another chance.

After listening to both parties, the Court President, Adewale Adegoke told them to be peaceful throughout the case.

Mr. Adegoke adjourned the case until May 30 for an alternative dispute resolution mechanism, ADR.

A Liberian man identified as Gary has stated reasons why Hilda Baci might not qualify as a Guinness World Record breaker.

He said this in response to her being compared to Wonyean Aloycious, a chef from Liberia who just announced his ambition to confront the Nigerian cook.

He stated that the Guinness World Records organization would not honor her for twerking and dancing while cooking.

In his words;

“Joke aside Chef Aloycious is bigger than Hilda Baci when it comes to preparing food, he’s the G.O.A.T in my country Liberia.

After achieving a remarkable achievement on Monday, Nigerian chef, Hilda Essien Bassey, aka Hilda Baci, has in test questions for May 17 at Akwa Ibom Polytechnic in Ikot, Osurua.

Baci, a native of Akwa Ibom state, was highlighted as the No. 2 question by a mass communication instructor in regard to her popular Guinness World Record cook-a-thon.

The exam was set for HND 1 students offering Communication Theories with Course Code; Mac 31 in the first semester 2022/2023 session.

The syllabus required students to utilize Hilda’s popular cooking marathon to illustrate a theory put out by Canadian-American physicist Albert Banura.

The question reads;

“Using the social media trending issue of Hilda Baci’s ‘Cook-a-thon, justify the social leaming theory of Albert Bandura.”

Labour Party (LP) Factional National Chairman, Lamidi Apapa, has stated that God had delivered him from a crowd in the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

His faction stormed the court on Wednesday for the pre-hearing of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal of Peter Obi, challenging the 2023 presidential election.

After being booed and pursued from the court grounds, Apapa spoke to reporters and thanked God for preserving his life.

The Director-General of the Obi campaign organizations, Akin Osuntokun, refused to leave a chair that was designated for the chairman of the party, and the LP chieftain claimed he sensed trouble before the court’s proceedings even started. This was after security personnel had just released him from protective custody.

Apapa said;

“I went to him and inquired to know on what capacity he was sitting on the seat. I told him that since I am in court today, I am the right person to sit on that chair.”

Speaking on being mobbed, Apapa, said: “They pounced on me, removed my cap and I am very sure that if not that you people (journalists) were there, I would have been dead by now.”

He denied reports that he was paid N500 million to defeat Obi’s case against Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the president-elect.

Additionally, Apapa said that the LP flagbearer was aware that he would be attacked, revealing that members of the party’s presidential campaign group had promised to deal with him if he attended the court hearing at a meeting on Tuesday to mediate a truce between the warring groups.

He said;

“They threatened that if I appear in court that something would happen.

I want to tell the whole world that he is a liar. I have been in the party for over 21 years while he is not even up to one year in the party.

I have never taken any kobo from anybody and I have challenged anyone that has any evidence to bring it forward.

Apart from money, what else does he (Obi) have that I don’t have?”.

A Nigerian mother has posted her daughter’s report slip online along with the principal’s and teacher’s comments.

The mother revealed her daughter’s failing grades for all of the subjects on the result slip. However, social media users took notice of the statements made by the class instructor and principal.

According to the class instructor who noted this on the result sheet, the girl failed all of her classes since she never paid attention in class and was instead frequently spotted playing with a group of guys in the nearby bush.

In response to the teacher’s comments, the school’s headmaster also suggested to the girl’s mother that she get married.

“Always playing with boys in the bush. Very lazy in all types of sports. Advised to marry”, the teacher wrote.

American rapper, Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, has caused a buzz on the internet after she modeled a new Yeezy fashion line which left very little to the imagination.

Bianca, an Australian entrepreneur and architect, was originally hired as Yeezy’s architectural designer in 2020 before she tied the knot with Yeezy founder, Kanye West, in a private ceremony in January 2023.

In the photos posted on Instagram by the Nigerian-born designer of the outfit, Bianca wore a daring and revealing outfit which literally showed off all her assets.

She used a black square fabric to cover her boobs while a black cross was used to cover her butt crack, and a black landing strip was used to cover her vagina. Bianca also wore a thigh-high black boots/leggings to complement the outfit.

The bold and revealing outfit may not appeal to everyone, but Bianca’s decision to go almost naked to model it showcases her confidence.

In 2020, Mowalola Ogunlesi joined Kanye West’s Yeezy Gap brand as the design director and has previously styled outfits for the rapper, his former wife Kim Kardashian, and their eldest daughter North.

A Kenyan man has taken to social media to express his pain after his partner gave birth to a child with Indian ancestry.

He was left totally heartbroken that she delivered an Indian boy at the hospital because it was clear evidence that she had been cheating on him.

According to the guy, his girlfriend was a server at an Indian restaurant making him think that was where she cheated on him and got the baby.

He bemoaned the fact that despite being a kind lover throughout her pregnancy and satisfying her wants, he later learned the child wasn’t actually his own.

A young man, identified as Freedom Bilankulu Wo Rhunga, has taken to Facebook to lament about no longer feeling loved in his relationship.

In a Facebook post that has gone viral, Bilankulu expressed his worry over the current state of his relationship, comparing his partner’s behavior now to when they first started dating.

According to him, his beautiful girlfriend no longer addresses him with endearing names like ‘my love’ and ‘babe,’ as she did in the beginning of their relationship.

He claims that when he expresses his love for her during their conversations, she ignores it and claims not to have seen it.

“I’m in a romantic relationship with a fine girl. My problem now is that whenever we’re charting, when I say “I love you,” she ignores it, and when I ask, she says she didn’t see it.
