Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah’s estranged boyfriend, George Wade, has denied leaking her intimate videos.

Just recently, intimate videos of the veteran actress flooded the internet, and it was alleged that her ex-fiancé, whom she had claimed was blackmailing her with her nudes, leaked the videos online.

He reportedly created a WhatsApp group where he added hundreds of people and shared the explicit videos of her, including one where she was taking her bath.

Amid the scandal Empress went online to reassure her fans who were concerned about her well-being that she was fine and that she was relieved to be finally free of her blackmailer.

A number of concerned Nigerians and Empress’ colleagues, the likes of Eve Esin called for George Wade’s arrest.

Eve Esin in a post on her Instagram page slammed George for releasing the nude of a woman he claimed to love once, and urged the police to effect his arrest for revenge porn.

However, in a new development, Empress’ estranged lover, Wade has denied leaking the viral explocot videos. According to him, he has no involvement in the leaked videos.

“I feel the pains, but I need you guys to understand I’m not behind everything that’s happening to Empress. I’m in pains with her”, he said in part.

Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinwale popularly known as Joeboy, has explained why it’s pointless to ask a lady for her body count.

Taking to his Twitter page, Joeboy asserted that there’s no need to ask a woman for the number of men she has copulated with because there’s no way to confirm the truth.

According to the 25-year-old singer, if a lady says her body count is three, there’s no test to determine if she’s telling the truth.

Award-winning Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has shared a video of the emotional moment a female fan burst into tears after meeting her for the first time.

The thespian and movie producer did a meet and greet at Silverbird Cinema, Lagos, on Sunday, January 8, for her latest movie “Ijakumo” when she met the young lady.

The lady, who happens to be a huge fan of the actress since childhood, couldn’t contain her emotions after seeing the actress for the first time in her life, and broke down in tears.

Her emotional outburst caught the attention of the stellar actress and she proceeded to give her a warm embrace as she wept uncontrollably on her shoulder.

Grammy award winner, Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy, has shared his encounter with a beautiful female soldier who caught his eyes on Saturday, January 8.

The music superstar, in a post shared on his Instastory, said he met the military woman and was smitten by her beauty but didn’t know how to woo her.

In a bid not to embarrass himself or cause a scene due to his celebrity status, the self-styled ‘Odogwu’ said he decided to walk away instead of approaching the soldier to make his intentions known.

He however stated that she’s still on his mind, hence the social media post about her.

He also disclosed that he recently made 120 million, but added that he doesn’t pay tithe or do all those “churchy” things, instead he gives 10% of his income to people.

Zubby noted that if anyone sees him throwing money to people, they might not understand but that is his own way of paying tithe.

In a post she shared on her Twitter page, the Therapist opined that threatening to leave a relationship every time conflict arises can be a respomse to trauma.

According to her, such persons are used to being abandoned so they want to leave first.

”Threatening to leave your relationship every time conflict arises because you’re used to being abandoned so you want to leave first, can be a response to trauma — but it’s also emotional abuse and can alter your partners sense of safety & security within the relationship.” She wrote.

A video of the hilarious moment popular Instagram skit maker, Sabinus, panicked and screamed for help while participating in a leisure activity in Lagos has been shared online.

The Port Harcourt-based comedian paid a vist to the Lekki Conservation Centre in Lagos to have fun recently, and dared himself to partake in the famous Canopy Walk, but he seemingly regretted his decision immediately he began the walk.

In the trending clip, Sabinus was consumed with fear as he walked on the LCC Canopy Walk, said to be the longest canopy walk in Africa with it’s 401-metre long walkway.

At some point, he started shouting for help because he thought someone was deliberately shaking the platform to startle others.

“Who dey shake am? who dey shake am?” he called out while holding tight to the handrail.

He also told the guide that the platform was not strong enough. When he couldn’t take it anymore, he said he wasn’t doing again and turned back.

The on-air personality, who had a public fallout with his ex-wife a while back, has found love again and took to his Instagram page on Sunday, January 8, to unveil his new woman.

Recall that in 2021, he had a public spat with his ex-wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri, over alleged domestic violence and the paternity of his children. Uzoamaka had called out Nedu for alleged domestic abuse, and the OAP’s receipts revealed that he is not the biological father of his first son.

According to Nedu, his ex-wife’s infidelity in their marriage was one of the many plaguing issues that led to him conducting a paternity test, which brought about the disclosure that he’s not the biological father of one of their three children.

A young Nigerian woman has sparked concern from netizens after she left a disturbing post on Facebook.

In the post made on a Christian Facebook group on Saturday, January 7, 2023, the lady identified as Ngozi Blessing said she’s considering selling her soul to the devil due to the challenges she’s facing.

According to her, her current problems are so severe that she believes the solution is to sell her soul to the devil.

“Am thinking of selling my soul to the devil. These challenges I am facing are more than enough.” She wrote.

Her post immediately elicited reactions from well-meaning Facebook users, who trooped to the comment to offer words of encouragement.

In other news, a UK-based man was recently confronted after he traveled miles from his city to meet up with a 13-year-old girl who he had allegedly been sending lewd messages to.

In a video making the rounds online, the man, who’s said to be Nigerian, was accused of travelling from Edinburgh to Leeds to visit the minor.

When confronted, he claimed he travelled down to surprise the minor for her birthday as she would be turning 14.

Eyewitnesses who confronted him then questioned why he had been sending nasty messages to the 13-year-old despite knowing she was a minor, and they read out some of the messages he allegedly sent her.

Popular Nigerian Radio Personality, Osikhena Dirisu has taken to his social media page to dish out financial advice to immigrants who often convert the monetary rate as a yardstick for spending in their new country.

This advice was triggered by the post of a lady who vowed to return to Ghana because she spent just $40 making her hair when it was impossible to do so abroad.

According to Osi, it is economically unwise to convert the rates of both countries and use them to determine which was cheaper and more affordable since both countries have varying economical structures.

Actress and media personality, Afoluwake Ogunkeye a.k.a Folu Storms has counseled filmmakers to consider alternative venues for film promotion and exposure because not all films are suitable for cinematic release.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Folu stated that although movies screened in cinemas have prestige attached, their exposure is also constrained, particularly in Nigeria.

She said;

“I am confused why many people are still hustling to get into the cinema. While I think the cinema is great and there is a certain level of prestige attached to it, it is limited in terms of funds. Its visibility is also limited, especially in Nigeria.
“How many cinemas do we have in Nigeria? How many cinemas do we even have in Lagos? It is a case of your toilet not working at home and you are wearing designer shoes outside. It is packaging. Cinema is necessary for certain types of films. I do not believe everyone should be hustling into the cinema.”

Folu asked filmmakers to make an effort to distribute their works internationally.

In her words;

“Filmmakers should desire the world to see their works. That is what our musicians have done. Are our musicians just clamouring to be heard in Lagos? They want their music to be global. You want the rest of the world to be your marketplace. That is the idea. That is my approach towards filmmaking. For anything we (entertainers) are doing in entertainment, we need to be stamping our stories globally and thinking about ownership.”

Kenyan Policemen have arrested a man identified as Jackton Odhiambo as the main suspect in the murder of LGBTQ activist, Edwin Chiloba.

It was gather that Odhiambo was in a relationship with the LGBTQ activist and he confessed to k*lling him and depositing his body by the roadside over allegations that he cheated on him.

Police spokeswoman Resla Onyango said detectives have also detained a car that was used in disposing of the body on the road. She added that love triangle is among the theories they are pursuing for now.

According to Investigations, Jackton executed the murder with the help of his two friends. The suspect said he murdered Chiloba as revenge for betraying him.

Jackton who had been staying with the Chiloba for one year in Eldoret was arrested on Friday January 6, as the main suspect in the murder. The two lived together as husband and wife.

Police also revealed that Jackton told curious neighbours who had perceived a bad smell from a house Chiloba stayed with him and two others that it was a dead rat that had died there and that he was trying to remove it.

“He told the neighbours it was a dead rat that was smelling when they sought to know what was smelling from the house they lived,” Uasin Gishu county DCI boss Peter Kimulwo said.

The body was dumped in Halingham near Kipkaren.

Reality tv star, Venita Akpofure has called out Fancy Acholonu for granting interviews to talk about the details of her relationship with her ex-fiancé, Alexx Ekubo.

Recall Fancy spilled the tea about the circumstances surrounding her breakup with the actor in a recent interview with media personality, Stella.

Venita took to her Twitter account to criticize Fancy for coming out to talk about her issue since every woman has experienced abuse from men they were in a relationship and Fancy did not experience any real loss.

A South African lady identified as Zinhle has shared her experience with a stranger who liked all her Instagram posts at once.

She took to the microblogging platform, Twitter to narrate what she texted to the young man and his response to her message.

According to her, she thought he was trying to shoot his shot at her and entered his DM to encourage him but he blocked her instead for making such an assumption.

In her words;

“One day, a guy went onto my IG and liked ALL my photos. I then DMed him saying “instead of doing all that, why don’t you just DM me and tell me you like me?”. He responded by saying “I don’t like you, I just like your content.” And proceeded to block me.”

In other news, a Syria-based journalist has revealed why he still does the dishes in his house occasionally despite having three wives.

Bilal Abdul Kareem, in a post shared via his Twitter handle, said marrying multiple wives isn’t only about sex or leadership, but service.

He said if his three wives can be committed to taking care of their children daily, then he can also wash the dishes from time to time.

He posted a photo of him in the kitchen and wrote,

“Some people think 3 wives is all about sex & being the boss. Being the leader of a large family means that I’m in service to them. Just as Prophet Muhammad was in service to his family. If my 3 Queens can take care of the kids every day then I can wash some dishes sometimes too.”

A Twitter user, who had mixed reactions about his tweet, then asked why he felt doing the dishes and caring for the kids is primarily his wives’ responsibility.

“For starters, why do you think dishwashing or caring of your own children is the wife’s job?
You seem to be portraying as if you are doing her a favor when it is your equal responsibility as a father and husband,” he wrote.

In response, Bilal wrote,

“This is the way I see it: We have specific roles but we can help each other out when we can. For example, if there is no money or food in the house I’m not going to look at her and say, “It’s your fault!”, because it’s not. It would be my fault.”

Popular Nollywood actress, Bimbo Ademoye, has revealed that she doesn’t have a relationship with her mother.

The multi-talented Nollywood star made this disclosure in an interview with media personality Hawa Magaji, where she spoke about her childhood, career, and relationships.

Opening up about her relationship with her mother, Bimbo said that they don’t have a connection because it was her father who singlehandedly raised her.

According to her, her mother abandoned her when she was just two years old.

“My mom is alive. She lives like fifteen to twenty minutes away from me. We just don’t have a friendship. So I just don’t talk about it because I would love for people to respect that. Like I’m a very private person. So like my mum left when I was like 2. So my first ever betrayal came from my mother.

We tried to rekindle. I won’t even say rekindle because there was no romance there, I didn’t get to know her. But I tried to build a relationship with her. Right now, we have a relationship. Like I’m doing my duties as a child. Paying for this, paying the rent, allowances, and whatnot. But that’s about what we have.

And I think I’m very okay with that. I’m okay with the no friendship, no closeness zone that we’re in for my mental health and for my own sanity. I’m very much okay with it. But my mum is very much alive. Very beautiful, dark skinned, robust, chubby. I got my hips from my mum and my waist from my mother as well. But yeah, I don’t have a relationship with my mum and I’m fine with that.

Growing up with a single dad wasn’t the easiest because poor guy, there’s some things he doesn’t know. You know, like when you have your first monthly flow, he’s just as shocked as you are. And at some point, he was very torn in the sense that he had to go work for his children and at the same time, he had to be there for his children. Growing up and seeing the sacrifices he would make, like his friends will call and say “let’s go clubbing” and he’ll be like “no, I have children”, it just kinda shaped my relationship with my dad to be stronger.” She said.

Son k!dnaps father, collects N2.5m ransom in Oyo State

Men of the Kwara State Police Command have arrested a young man, identified as Issa Naigheti, for allegedly kidnapping his father and collecting a ransom of N2.5 million.

The spokesperson of the command, Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed Issa’s arrest, said he was arrested around the Kambi area of Ilorin by officers attached to the anti-kidnapping team of the Kwara police command.

Okasanmi further revealed that the suspect admitted to having conspired with two others to kidnap his father during interrogation.

“The suspect confessed under interrogation to having conspired with two others to kidnap his father, Bature Naigboho in Igboho/Igbeti area of Oyo State and collected N2.5m ransom”, he said.

Okasanmi further revealed that the case would be transferred to Oyo State, which is where the crime took place.

In other news, operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested some suspects in connection with the rape and kidnap of some victims in Ughelli North LGA of the state.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, in a statement dated Wednesday, January 4, gave a detailed account of how the suspects used Facebook to lure unsuspecting victims to an hotel, gangrape them and then held them hostage till their parents pay ransom to secure their release.

He also said the suspects filmed one of the victims while inserting a candle into her private part, and used the explicit video to blackmail her parents into paying a huge ransom.

A UK-based man was recently confronted after he traveled miles from his city to meet up with a 13-year-old girl who he had allegedly been sending lewd messages to.

In a video making the rounds online, the man, who’s said to be Nigerian, was accused of travelling from Edinburgh to Leeds to visit the minor.

When confronted, he claimed he travelled down to surprise the minor for her birthday as she would be turning 14.

Eyewitnesses who confronted him then questioned why he had been sending nasty messages to the 13-year-old despite knowing she was a minor, and they read out some of the messages he allegedly sent her.

One of the messages showed him asking the girl to masturbate and do all sorts of lewd acts. He, however, denied the allegation, insisting he was only there to surprise her for her birthday.

The lady had taken to Twitter to share the transformation her body underwent by sharing photos of herself before and during pregnancy.

The photos showed the lady in a black dress looking stunning before her pregnancy and completely different in the ones taken during her pregnancy.

Her face doubled in size during the pregnancy, with her eyes, lips, and nose appearing extremely swollen.

She also shared a photo of her foot, which looked equally swollen.

Reacting to the photos, netizens expressed worry over the abrupt changes in her body.

Nigerian singer and rapper, Zlatan Ibile was caught in controversy recently when he performed at a concert.

In videos that have been shared online, the rapper was seen fighting off a concert goer who presumably tried to steal from him while he was performing.

As can be seen in the video, the rapper was busy entertaining the audience when a guy who was quite close to him tried to take something off from him. Upon realizing that he was about to be stolen from, Zlatan reacted angrily as he decided to fight off the erring concert goer.

He’s seen throwing punches at the said prospective thief before his security personnel pulled him away from the scene.
